TACTICS (145 words)
We're basically a copy of the real life Chelsea team. Looking to be solid at the back to counter the pace of Otavio, Gray and Bernadeschi, making sure that they have no space to get in behind. I want us to stand off, not chasing down the lost causes higher up. Hold our shape and wait for them.
Going forward, Lingard and Redmond are in free roles behind Defoe, look to run with the ball and find space both in between their defense and midfield, and in behind. Defoe is to lead the line and be clinical in front of goal. The full backs must get forward to provide width, and Cyprien should also push forward.
If winning - Khazri for Lingard, fresh legs.
If losing - Khazri and Borini for Sarr and McNair, move to a 4-4-2 diamond with Borini upfront and Redmond AM.

Heaton
Klostermann---Orban---Keane---Grimaldo
Defour----Huddlestone
Bernardeschi-------------------------Otavio
Vokes---Gray
Subs: Robinson, Mee, Flanagan, Huddlestone, Boyd, Bamford, Pienaar
Tactics:
Sit deeper and limit space behind back four. Counter attacking style to utilize passing of Defour and Huddlestone, and pace up front
Orban pick up main striker, Keane pick up second striker, spare if only one up front
FBs to pick up wingers – sit tight and keep them wide
Ward stay back, make back three when attacking
Klostermann bombs on overlapping winger.
Defour and Hiddlestone sit back, protect back four, pick passes, act as the link between attack and defence to launch quick counter.
Bernardeschi attack LB, coming inside creating space for Klostermann
Otavio to attack full back, go inside and out
Vokes – target man. On the end of crosses, hold up the ball and bring support players into play.
Gray – play in and around Vokes, picking up the second ball. Try and get in behind the defence.

------------Jorgensen
Bench - Wilson/Ake/Surman/Ibe/King/Stanislas/Wilson
Francis to stick to main forward, Cook to cover and play out from the back
Full backs to press high up the pitch and overlap wingers, Force their wingers down the line
Arter to go box to box get about the pitch and put tackles in, Make late runs for the box
Castro sit on AM and don't let him create, Dictate play from deep
Iwobi cut in off the wing and link with Ben Yedder before running beyond.
Insigne to take on the full back and twist him inside out
Ben Yedder to create chances and shoot from distance.
Jorgense to hustle and get at the defenders and get into scoring opportunities.
Subs - Wilson for Jorgensen - 75mins
Ibe for Iwobi - 85mins
VS
HULL
Jakupovic
Henrichs---Davies---Dawson---Stafylidis
Keita---Kimmich
Mor---Pulisic---Sabitzer
Dembele
We want to play a high pressure game on them, niggle them early on and keep them encamped in their own half. If the opposition attempt to counter-attack then feel free to do intelligent fouling to hold up play. Fast one touch football from ourselves, pass and move having them chase shadows. Dembele to poach, drift offside to keep their defence deep giving space to Pulisic who's given remit to shoot from distance.
Our defenders keep it simple, isolate the striker and force wingers onto bad foot. Midfield pairing to spread the ball out quickly to the wing men. Double up on the wings both offensively and defensively.
Set pieces: Pulisic
Subs: Isak & Snodgrass for Dembele & Mor 75m

Re: Taktiks & Results week number 3
- Bisexual Bambino:
- Burnley win
In these leagues, first thing I usually look for is a solid foundation in a side. Sunderland aren't bad at the back due to the numbers they have back there, but McNair is toilet, and its such a key position in this formation. Think the Burnley midfield is strong enough to take advantage, and there's enough of a spark up front to get a couple of goals. I like the idea of the Sunderland front 3, but think they need a touch of class, and against a strong defensive unit they won't have enough
Hull win
Both sides have good attacks, can see the Hull front 4 really causing some problems for the Bournemouth defence. I think the midfields are very well matched, possibly a slight advantage to Hull. Bournemouth have the best attack in the league for me, but Hero is strong at fb, and I think the 2 he's bought will slow down the Bournemouth attack just enough to take the win - would ordinarily be a draw
- Happy go miky:
- Burnley win
Only just. I can see Burnley being able to keep the shape better than Sunderland and potentially being able to catch Sunderland out as they have seemingly chosen to sit off a bit more in this game, opting to counter attack. A close one to call for sure but with both teams sitting off this would have been a draw in the old leagues.
Bounemouth win
Another tough one. I feel like Hull wont be able to keep up the high pressure game for too long and their players are more willing to get on the ball and get at the opposition that way. I can see the attacking 4 of Bournemouth being too much for Dawson and Davies also.
- Michael Essien's adopted son:
- Think Sunderland need better cm's if they wanna play 3atb. Burnley win.
Think Bournemouths midfield just edges out hulls. Bournemouth win.
FINAL SCORELINE
BURNLEY 3 SUNDERLAND 0
BOURNEMOUTH 2 HULL 0

Completely agree that my midfield isn't good enough, Romeu and Gueye hopefully improve it.

Cheers Trebs. When I saw our tactics were quite similar, I was thinking it could go either way, so more than pleased to get a win from it.
Gueye has looked brilliant for us so far this season, so should make a huge difference.
