The RPG would be a big game, it was trying to be Skyrim but failed, the story based Telltale games have 3 seasons but flopped as well, they should just do a big open world game

Was watching some old promos, HHH & Punk, HHH was better than Punk in that feud....

Don't agree with that. People got behind Bryan more so than Punk.

Bryan had no impact on me. He is boring as a character

Yeah I agree - I was just channeling my inner IWC smark

He was definitely better than Triple H in that feud. Triple H did that annoying condescending thing every week. He did the same with Bryan. I would give him the benefit of the doubt that he was trying to be a good heel but he does the same thing when he's face. It's at least preferable to when he tries to be funny. That's the worst.

When he pretends to be young DX again is the worst, it's like me dabbing.

I'm currently watching back Punk's career on the Network and what gets me is how over he was at PPVs where he was an ECW wrestler. I didn't watch wrestling back then so never realised he was massively over with WWE crowds from the off

Bryan was a good technical wrestler but if it wasn't for Kane in the tag run as the straight guy he wouldn't have lasted

It's become a bit of a meme now when people use it to describe Kevin Owens but CM Punk is the perfect representation of a wrestler who gets 'it'. That's why crows were behind him in ECW even when he didn't have much to him and he was a bit of a bland face because he could make it work. 

I think Punk's biggest strength was making it seem real, his wrestling was always criticised as being sloppy but I thought that always helped him as it made his matches seem more like fights. Somebody like Orton is technically fantastic and hits everything perfectly, but that only hurts my suspension of disbelief, I never believe he's fighting. Brock Lesnar is another who is able to make matches seem like fights.

I think to compare Punk and Bryans WWE work is like apples and oranges - Both suffered from similar views from the booking team but ultimately Bryan probably benefitted from what happened with Punk

Technically I think Bryan was a better wrestler but Punk was the better all round character. Perhaps Bryan never had to show off his promo skills because the fans did most of his talking but even with his GM work I'd still consider Punk to have better mic skills

Everybody is also being harsh on Daniel Bryan, he's genuinely really funny and also always managed to get a good connection with the fans. Considering his WWE career was only 5 years long, it's crazy the impact he managed to have. I'd argue he'll leave a bigger mark on the WWE than people like Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston even people like Mark Henry who have been their decades haven't managed to be as memorable. All this whilst not being particularly backed by management is really impressive. 

Even somebody like CM Punk was basically treading water for his first 5 years in the WWE.
