Gonzalez vs Inoue: A Genuine Super Fight & Best Match-Up in Boxing

This is the fight I want to see above all others in 2017.

Gonzalez, the P4P King and the greatest little man since Ricardo Lopez versus "Monster" Inoue, who just stopped Koei Kono in Tokyo.

A win for Gonzalez (currently 46-0) would probably see him usurp Lopez in the all-time lists.

It's probably too soon for Inoue. I think Gonzalez has too much experience, though I have only seen a bit of Inoue, so I don't know how good he really is. Looks a very strong guy at the weight.

The boxing world opened their eyes when he blitzed narvaez, but he's only had a handful of fights and the rest of the record, understandably doesn't have many names on it. There's rekatively few fighters in the lighter weights so you can get a world shot after a few fights or if you've had a fair few defeats. That said what little i've seen of inoue, he does look class, real snap in his punches. Let's hope ongoing hand trouble doesnt hinder his career.

Inoue Gonzales would certainly be a fascinating fight, but Adam has a point, it might be a bit early for inoue.

I think the younger man Inoue could takeout the brilliant Chocolatito. If you watched Chocolatito's fights with McWilliams Arroyo and Carlos Cuadras(granted a naturally larger man) Chocolatito was hurt on a few occasions by body shots and Inoue's money shot is to the body.

I just can't call it. Gonzalez could "old man" him, or Inoue could break him in half with that left hook. Best punch in boxing?

I don't think the fight will happen sadly, Inoue due to his sheer size I imagine will move up another division soon so there is a very small window of opportunity for this fight to be made. I can't seen Gonzalez can go up another division.

What shocks me is the size difference between the two. It really shocked me when I saw them stood next to each other a few months back.

I hope the fight gets made and if it does I'd favour Inoue. However like I said I think it will slip by

Inoue skipped fly, going from junior to super. I guess it's only a few pounds at those weights but it could be he was filling out a little. He's 23, hopefully he can stick at super for a while and give us this fight.

I must confess to being guilty...Anything under 122 has never interested me....Including American heroes like Chandler and Carbajal..

Hope these guys find a level of interest....Must be more than frustrating for them if they ever get to see the limited Bellew's next purse..
