TUF 25 COACHES
TJ Dillashaw & Cody Garbrandt.
Should be an interesting season.
Bit of needle with the way TJ left alpha male.
Only saw the headline, but would assume they will fight after the season is done.

Read that it will be made up of welter weights who have been on previous seasons.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Caught a bit of the first episode.
Looks decent.
Previous fighters given another chance, although there is a previous winner on it.
Very heated between Cody and TJ.

Says BT sport 3, apparently episode two is 3 am Saturday morning.
I just watched a few minutes on YouTube.
I don't have BT, so will have to catch on mma core?

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Watched the first 2 episodes. The fights weren't great.
Would have liked to see some other previous cast than some they have, e.g. Julian Lane.
Lot of heat as expected between Cody and TJ.
Could get a bit boring as all about why TJ left TAM.
Not a fan of Cody, the male Ronda the way he's carrying on.
Hopefully the fights improve, could be a good season though.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Just caught up on the 3 episodes on mma core and tbh don't think the fights have been that bad, just that the bjj/grapplers seem to be having the better of it.Got to agree about Julian Lane, was an absolute idiot on his season as well as being a poor fighter. I seem to remember that season being the worst of all and none of the fighters got a contract. Hyder I think was an ok guy and he does have power but didn't he come across as very one dimensional in losing the last fight in his season?

Watched the first 4 episodes.
Great start for TJ's team.
Last fight I thought was the best so far.
Next up is Hyder v his training partner( Diego think his name is).
Could be an interesting fight.

Just watched episode, interesting training conditioning/endurance technique from Cody and another win for TJ. Good first round from Dhiego, second round Haydar had his moments, hurt Dhiego but was unable to capitalise, Dhiego then finished the round strongly for the win. Haydar whilst exciting when going forward landing big shots is very one dimensional and doesn't appear to have improved his game since his last appearence in TUF. Dhiego was simply the more rounded better equipped fighter. Next fight up is Julian Lane and apparently he kicks off next episode.
One thing i find strange about this series is that its set at welterweight yet we have guys that have competed from lw to lhw.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Agree with you re Hyder.
Really hope Ramsey beats Lane, the guys a moron.
Clip shows him putting his head into Ramsey's and shouting at him at the weigh in.
Also Garbrant is at it again with wanting to fight TJ.
He's champion, but he certainly doesn't act like it.
Coaches that get that worked up, maybe something wrong with them.
Alpha male apparantly confront Ludwig.
Been an ok season so far.
Prefer it when the season is evenly matched, TJ got to be more than happy being 5-0 up, hopefully be 6.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
It is classless and unprofessional of Garbrandt to act like this, he should just leave it til they fight, TJ is handling it well. I suppose it makes 'entertaining' tv, probably why Julian Lane got picked. Not sure how his career has progressed since but his performance in his previous TUF season didn't warrant being picked again. They are definitely getting some mileage out of the Alpha Male/Ludwig/TJ situation.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Just watched the next episode.
Decent fight.
All kicked off at the weigh in.
Garbrant is just an embarrassing individual in fairness.
World champ or not. As a coach it's no way to act.
Bucholtz os a bit of a muppet to.
Had a confrontation with Duane, calling Duane to fight him on the prelim.
Again a coach with no class.
TJ hit the nail in the head by saying they were embarrassing themselves.
It's entertaining to watch, but these guys need to take a look at themselves.
Noticed Andre Fili there to, not a fan of his either.
I really, really hope TJ ko's Cody.
Also if it happens, would like to see Duane beat Bucholtz.

Any idea why? I would imagine its due to an injury, was looking forward to this fight.
Have to say its been a poor showing from Garbrandt and his coaches and then we have Bucholz calling out Ludwig, a retired fighter! I'm surprised Dana hasn't pulled Garbrandt up about his conduct, but then we are seeing less and less of Dana in recent seasons.
Fight itself wasn't bad, strange ending. Really don't rate Lane but credit to Nijem, I really thought both times he was going to tap, the guillotine was very tight. Nijem looked the better fighter just Lane had huge size and strength advantages. I think its fair Lane gets the wild card after the way the fight ended.
Who is Andre Fili? Not heard of him.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
He's a TAM member.
Early 20's.
Not sure if you saw the McGregor/Faber season, but Fili didn't like the way Connor was talking about TJ.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Heck of a fight between Joe and Justin.
Finally Cody's team get a win.
Wildcard pick was Joe vs Hyder.
Would like to see Hyder win that.
mma-core wouldn't work, so watched on YouTube.

Re: TUF 25 COACHES
Redemption is the word.
Jesse, wins season 25.
I like Jesse and am pleased for him.
As far as his fights go, not a huge fan of watching them.
Gets people to the ground, he's to strong for them.
I feel if people can avoid his take downs, then he may well have been ko'd.
As far as the season goes, I was a little bit disappointed.
Enjoyed the back and forth between TJ and Cody.
Probably could have had some better guys to bring back in fairness.
Look forward to the next one.
