Jamie George is the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we will hunt him. Or something.

OK so apparently the site updated to a new skin that deleted the old one. The Admins have been working hard to get it back to something similar to the old one.
The one we currently have is pretty much the same in terms of layout but the fonts etc need tweaked

I have edited the site back to what is as close to what we had before as I think we'll get.
As far as I can see it's just slightly brighter than it was previously. To be honest I can't really tell, the site changed about a thousand times in the last 10 minutes so I've forgotten what it used to look like.

Just read this...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/39209021
Utterly shocking record of non-whitewash crossing in the previous 6N's.
However, Mr O'Halloran seems quite a switched on coach. really looking to seeing how he progresses at Glasgow.

Tiger, our English brethren will be reading that and looking at the post which precedes it and wondering when your medication was stepped up.

Glove, ixnay on irony; people might think you mean it.
One more sleep. Just one.
Keep telling myself we have no chance, none whatsoever. Zilch. Zero.
Okay, in the backs I might swap Youngs for All one Price, but that's all. And really our pack is an embarrassment, best not to even turn up.
No chance.

According to the Times, Alex Lozowski was called back into the squad last night to promise covered for Farrell's injury concern.

Bit worried he's called up anyone full stop.
Also feel strange he'd drop Lozowski in for his debut having parachuted him into the squad the day before for captain's run. You'd think Slade would be the safer bet in that instance.
Re: 6N 2017: England vs Scotland (take 2)
Missing Farell against arguably the best attacking team in the NH would be a blow. I do think this is just Eddie "the gremlin" Jones' mind games.

It's possible Slade would come onto the bench and Lozzer would take Slade's place as a travelling reserve. They usually always have one in case someone pulls up in the warm-up.

My understanding is that Slade was released Tuesday and has not been recalled.
My guess is that Lozowski is called up as he is deemed to provide better FH cover.
Hopefully it becomes a moot point as Faz will pass the fitness test.

Impressively unsweaty pits there from Cotter as well. Pretty sure Robinson had to change shirts every 5 minutes during games.

Guscott's latest article on the Beeb is worth a laugh. Only yesterday I was joking about the English obsession with Jonny Wilkinson and it takes Guscott, writing about the 6 Nations in 2017, only a few sentences before he name drops the great fly half.

The reference almost feels contrived, it just doesn't fit yet he went with it anyway.

That was my assumption too.
Wilt Daly JJ and Teo able to cover the centers its really only 10 that needs cover from the bench. Ford will likely stay on the whole 80 anyway.
I guess Slade would be more of a "like for like" swap with Farrell as a footballing 12 but Eddies reluctance to even have him in a matchday 23 let alone start a game rules that out.
If Farrell isnt fit it looks like Teo whos been benched through no fault of his own starting 12. That does give England the sort of 10/12 combination which had been the original Jones first choice...just with Tuilagi.
Goal kicking wise Farrell hasnt been at his best the last two games, and not flawless prior to that. Daly is already taking the long ones and you have to back Ford to do better than the game that lost him the job in the first place. The way England play now, especially against a team whos strong suit isnt defense they wont be looking to win the game on 40 yard penalties anyway.
All in Farrells kicking is a nicce to have rather than vital for this game. What they may miss is his leadership. Its hard to see where that comes from in the midfield now. Youngs is a bit of a gobby so and so and pretty senior as a player but they will miss Farrell in that regard.
With Teo they gain power and pace.
As said chances are Farrell will play anyway, but him missing out isnt a disaster for England ...but will screw with the fantasy rugby competition

Farrell not kicking today.
Question for Eng fans, if he's not able to kick, do you still pick him?
