I'm just waiting for Asensio to get the value he deserves. 18m for him is a disgrace. Easily worth double that.

Most certainly, looks up there with Mbappe and Dembele.

Yeah. Think that's a small compensation for the Gray + Lemina gaff.

Re: The Locker Room Chat
Yeah Isco can play quite a lot of positions. LW, AM and CM. A Midfield 3 of
---------------Tousart------------Tolisso------------
------------------------------Isco---------------------------
????-----------------------Kane-----------------------Asensio
would be good. I might release Kane and buy a top RW.

Really think it retrospect Leipzig shouldn't have been included in the league, you've got such an advantage already over the rest.

Re: The Locker Room Chat
Even if I got a different team I would have still made the same signings. I would have released all the dead wood and still have the cash to bring in players like Asensio and Vallejo. It's just most of my original players like Forsberg and Upamecano got an increase on tm at the end of June which gave me a little hand in purchasing Kane. Although I would have liked to see what Trebs would have done to Leipzig if he got them

To be fair, i don't expect anything in the league anymore as depressing as that sounds. People will still complain though when teams run away with the league and they haven't voted

Re: The Locker Room Chat
We've been discussing in the facebook chat and much to my regret, we are going to have to end the league. I do not want to but we have to make a decision, and due to the pure lack of interest in finishing the season and even continuing with the current setup, we have to do something. I've looked at myself for this and questioned the rules we set out and it was after discussions with Hero that i discovered that it isn't my fault and we will be looking into something more compact and keeping reliable members of the league.
League disbanded for now.

Re: The Locker Room Chat
Half of my issue with the league is that all of the chat goes on Facebook
I participate for the banter as much as I do for winning a fake football title on a random internet forum, and this has just been boring
I'm not going to join another league if its going to be similar

Re: The Locker Room Chat
I agree Bam that the facebook chat doesnt help the chat on here but what also doesnt help is the lack of effort from people, I dont mean to big myself up but I was carrying the league, I needed help and people cant even get tactics in let alone update tables etc.
Im willing to work on trying to get the league active on here again but if you were to join I would need your reliablility back as well as others..

Re: The Locker Room Chat
Think Bams 100% correct on the Facebook thing.
Point of these league's when I played was a distraction at work. Not everybody can get on FB at work (I don't even have an account anyway)

Re: The Locker Room Chat
I've always had tactics and predos in on time in every league I've been in until this one.
I stopped caring because there was no reason to even look at the league pages until tactics were due every week, and soon enough that got boring

Re: The Locker Room Chat
As with Bam, I've often found the best staying power for these league's have come when the actual game is secondary to how active the topics are.
You've had what, 20 posts in over a month. That's why the league's lose steam. Iirc we had a rule at some point that you couldn't even discuss offers via PM.

Re: The Locker Room Chat
So you are saying its my fault or what? I get the point about the forum no worries.
The fb group only happened cos we did a draft initially which kicked off the league talk with JA..
Theres only so much I can do..we are talking about a new league atm, I will try and divert that onto here as well

Lol its no one's fault, its not a big enough deal to get worked up over, just giving my reasons for not caring/participating actively

I agree with this and was another one of the reasons why I didn't carry on (along with over complicating it). I didn't play because of the actual game, but more for the banter and discussions. Once that moved off the forum, it just wasn't appealing anymore.
People used to think I was being up tight insisting that all negotiations happened on the forum, but if you draw people to the forum to discuss deals, they then chip into other conversations too and the league has more life to it.

Anyone got any interest in doing a quick cup competition so we have some kind of conclusion? Would be nice to actually use my decent side.
