No offence Olly but i only want you to join if you can commit the time, there have been issues in previous leagues where you have not even given us answers in terms of when results are etc. I need and want this league to survive so all of this will be key.

My ideal role. The bit I love with none of the actual work!!

If wanted I can give any thoughts I have on tactics for each game. Obviously Direct with focus on set pieces versus Hero....

Against Olly I usually found sending in an XI did the trick

We need a test game where everyone votes to work out the best system imo.

Voting

Each week the person not playing is considered the Head Judge. All votes are to be PM'd to him.

Each game is broken down into 4 areas with the following points assigned to each area-

Team & formation - 11 points
Tactics - 9 points
Subs - 3 points
Home advantage - default 2 points to home team.

For each area (except home advantage) split the points as you see fit between the two teams.
So for example it could be a RL game between Man Utd v Man City and you awarded it:

Team - Utd 4, City 7
Tactics - Utd 7, City 2
Subs - Utd 2, City 1

So the above example would be a total of:

Utd - 16 (14 + 2 for home advantage)
City - 10

The score is then divided by 4 (round up) to a score of 4-3 in favour to Utd.

This though isn't necessarily the final score, the important aspect is the difference between the two teams (1 goal win to Utd)
The Head Judge makes the final decision then to decide upon what the score will be based upon that goal difference so if it's defensive game he'll pick a 1-0 win, if he thinks attacks will get the better of the defences it'll be 5-4 etc.

Scores are compulsory, reasoning as to why is recommended but not compulsory as aware time is precious.

We need a test game to work out the boundaries - is winning by an average of 5 points enough to be worthy of a win, or should it be 10 points? Etc. I have no idea
