----------------------------------------Asensio------------------------------------------
----------------------Sabitzer------Werner------Gnabry-------------------
Subs - Upamecano, Onomah, Karamoh, Calvert Lewin, Woodburn, Forsberg, Diaz
GAMEPLAN
Going with the 4213 formation we'll look to use pace of our front three to terrorise PSV defence. PSV have their best CB Moreno injured so want Werner to use his pace to target the replacement CB.
DEFENCE
Reliable keeper in goal. Vallejo to mark their main striker and Orban to do covering. Fullbacks make overlapping runs and get crosses into the box. Tousart's main role defend and cut passing lanes and close down attackers. Cover for our fullbacks when they are attacking. Keita will be playing as a b2b and will help both attack and defence. Make runs forward and play quick one twos to create space in middle.
ATTACK
Wingers bring pace to team. Get to byline and whip in low crosses for striker to finish. Asensio to play quick passes with teammates and make runs into box. Werner to play off shoulders of defenders and try and beat offside trap. Be clinical when through.
Subs if drawing/winning 65MINS

Onomah for Tousart
Diaz for Werner
- like for like position wise
Subs if LOSING 65MINS

--------------------Zinchenko-------------------------
--------------DeJong-----Unal------------------------
Tactics:
We're going to play free flowing attacking football with our great playmakers and passers. Willems/Arias to bomb up and down all day, with Neves sitting and allowing them to go forward by protecting the CBs. Propper and Van Ginkel to get up and down the pitch, looking to get the ball into Zinchenko, who has a free role, able to be free and play wherever he wants from in the hole to out wide. The front two to cause havoc up top, work together one dropping in, one looking in behind - don't be afraid to go wide. In defence Propper and Van Ginkel sit in beside Neves, and slide from side to side offering protection
Subs: 60th min - Siem De Jong-Zinchenko
75th min - Tierney- Willems

- Swansea City FC
-----------------------Fabianski------------------
Naughton------Fernandez---Maguire-----Targett
--------------------Ki---------Cork--------------
Oxlade-Chamberlain---Sigurdsson-------Montero
------------------------Llorente---------------------
Subs: Badiashile, Mawson, Taylor, Davies, Ayew
To start the season we're looking to play a containing game focusing on maintaining possession, stretching opposition positionally & draining the opponent's fitness. The midfield 5 all are comfortable on the ball so spread side to side, probing away with patience. Llorente to move in between the CBs, and hold the ball up for late runners. FBs to double up when opportunity arises but DMs cover. Man marking at the back, but the back four need to stay connected at all times to prevent being dragged or isolated. Balls to feet, pass and move, let them chase shadows, don't be caught over-stretching.
If we're down at midway through the second half we will up the tempo by taking one of the DMs off for Davies and move more toward 4/3/3 and bringing on fresh legs out wide with Ayew in the front line.

- Celta Vigo:
- -----------------Lopez
Mallo---Llorente-----Vickers----Planas
---------Romeu-----Hernandez
----------------Grujic
Castillejo------------------------Mina
----------------Aspas
Blanco, Trippier, Winks, Chalobah, Kamano, Wood, Bongonda
We are intending to set up with a flat defence today, to make sure we have a strong and stable defence that will be hard to break down. Lopez is an experienced head to marshall what is quite a young defence, whilst Romeu and Hernandez will sit deep to support the young centre backs. They will press deep, preventing runs from the midfield into the box that would have caused problems for our defence. Mallo and Planas are going to sit back and stay in the flat defence.
We have named an attacking quartet who offer many different attributes. When Hernandez and Romeu get on the ball they will push it forward to Grujic, who will use his passing range to either release our wingers with through balls, or balls over the top for Aspas to run on to. When they get the ball they will use their pace to play a direct game, exploiting any space high up the pitch. When they get the ball they will look to play low crosses across the face of goal.
65
Chalobah on for Hernandez, for fresh legs
If losing/drawing
Wood replaces Grujic and we go 4-42, with Aspas playing off him

Subs: Rulli, Navas, Alena, Canales, Kean,Onyekuru, Merino
4-2-4 today bang home the home advantage fast direct (some may say long ball) utilising our pace out-wide allowing our wingers to stay as high up the field as possible (offside trap) forcing their FB’s to stay back and defend or risk being over-run – pace and power up top is a combo to trouble even the tightest of defences.
Wanyama marshalls the midfield as good as anyone and he’s key today to win us that midfield battle, get the ball and spray it wide and forwards. Defence holds the line 35 yards back FB’s sit-in today head no further than our pivot
Subs: 65 mins fresh legs:
Onyekuru > Leandrinho
Kean > Borja
Canales > Oyarzabal
- Watford FC:

---------------------Livermore--------------------
----------Capoue---------------Cleverley----------
----------------------Philipp---------------------
--------------Deeney------------Niang-------------
BENCH

Fraser

Success
TACTICS
Playing Real Sociedad still looking for our first win of the season. I want us to be aggressive, attack them as their defense can be got at and bullied.
Semedo at the back to be the main marker of Origi, match him physically and for pace. Livermore sits, protecting the defense. Full backs should force their wingers onto their weaker foot, match them for pace.
Going forward Deeney is the target man, bullying their centre backs with Niang drifting wide and in behind, Philipp in a free role in front of their defense. One midfielder must stay back (usually Livermore) as the full backs will provide width and cross the ball in for Deeney, but Capoue or Cleverley can get forward.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning:
60' - Fraser and Atsu for Philipp and a striker, 4-5-1 with extra wingers to solidify.
80’ – Arter for Cleverley, fresh legs in midfield.
If losing:
60' - Atsu and Arter for Cleverley and Livermore, move to a 4-2-3-1.
80' – Success for Philipp, pace to have a late go.

- Ajax:
- ---------------------Onana
------De Ligt------Sanchez---Sinkgraven
Passlack-----Locatellli--Motta-----Stafylidis
---------------------Ziyech
--------------Dolberg-----Mbappe
Subs - Boer, Veltman, Tuanzebe, Fornals, Schone, Kluivert, Dembele
3 at the back this week to ensure solidity and be able to double up on whichever side Dembele plays. We want to frustrate them then hit them on the counter with a bit of brilliance from the front two
Locatelli/Motta sit and keep them from breaking through the centre - play it out wide or through to any of the attacking 3
Ziyech the key creative player, but also needs to drop and make it a midfield 3 if we're outnumbered there.
Dolberg and Mbappe run the channels, play off each other and finish any chances.
Wing backs are crucial, whichever side has Dembele to double up, if not provide width
Sanchez to take the main striker, use pace and power to nullify him and hold your position, don't drift out and leave gaps. De Ligt/Sinkgraven - cover but be aware of threats out wide, principally Dembele
Subs
losing at 70, bring on Dembele for Motta, Ziyech drop deep and go 3 attackers.
Winning at 70 - Dembele for Dolberg to increase pace in attack, replace any tired players
- Nice:
- -----------------------------------Benitez---------------------------------------
-------------------Holding-------Mere----------Sarr--------------------------
Pereira-----------Bakayoko---Koziello---Cyprien----------Sessegnon
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------Dembele-----------------------------------
-------------------------------------Abraham----------------------------------
Subs: Dalbert, Nkunku, Saint-Maximin, Augustin, Gomes, Gaspar, Marcel
Up against a very strong attacking side so looking to frustrate in numbers and capitalize on breaks with speed & intelligence.
Defensive
Intelligent CBs who are comfortable with the ball at feet, cover, close down and contain. WBs with speed look to intercept before opponents advance, keep opponents on weaker foot where possible. Midfield trio to sit deep, protect defense and space left by WBs when coming forward, restrict space & opportunity. Retain discipline at all times.
Attacking
Koziello as DLP, spread ball quickly when in possession. Bakayoko B2B, don’t be afraid to run at defense to open up space for others. Cyprien furthest forward to create space and be outlet, don’t be afraid to take shot from distance.
Dembele with free role behind Abraham, look for knockdown, go into channels and take on players. Abraham to use acceleration to burst past back line.
70m - Dalbert & Gaspar > Pereira & Sessegnon – fresh legs on the flanks
80m - Augustin > Abraham – Use power & speed against flagging defense

Re: Week 3 Tactics
Can you put the template for how scores should be done on the bottom of every tactics page. It just makes it much easier.
