Fantasy Football - The Draft

This year, the PL's fantasy football site has introduced a draft system option. A league can b setup for upto 16 teams; the participants that decide on a date for the draft and the fun commences.

Managers will then have a 15-man squad, with the players unique to their side rather than the usual system where each manager transfers in Lukaku and we all get the points for him, then marvelling at our captaincy choices and the odd guy who had Capoue from the first game for some reason.


I thought I'd anywhere was to be the place to get this going, it would be here. Who is interested?

id have thought so since 15 picks each tbh

Getting a date for the draft could be tricky

Sunday evenings probably the best for me, or late on a weeknight

whats happens say if someone buys sanchez then just before window hes sold abroad? with the draft already being done all the top players would have gone

Then you screwed & can choose from what's left.

You pick up someone who is free.

Just done one with 7 people; stressful to do and certainly screwed if you're late pick first up.

Saturday or Sunday afternoon works best for me as I'm currently 9 hours in the future

when we setting up a league for this? ive just done my normal team

Well it's gotta be done before week 1 so i assume this sunday is probably the best day to do it.

Weekends are terrible for me to be honest. Would prefer a weeknight.

I'm going to be even more of a git .. is it possible to start this around 9pm if we're doing weekdays? I don't get home from work till 8pm most days

Tuesday 9pm? Can I push for half 9 then as that makes it half 6 in the morning for me and I get up then anyway
