I’m looking to play a quick attacking game today, whilst also having a team of players capable of scrapping it out. At the back, Trippier and Planas have the license to push forward, with the midfield trio sitting deep and covering any holes in the defense. All three of those players are good at breaking up the play and giving some kicks around, which I expect of them, as I want them getting stuck in. Chalobah is also comfortable at CB if needs be.
Going forward, I want my attackers to form a pace filled trident, running directly at the CBs, whilst my FBs bomb down the flanks to provide wide options. Balls from Trippier and Planas should be drilled low, with a winger attacking both posts, and Aspas hungry for goals in the middle.

Our 433 formation is designed to strangle the opposition and cut flow to their attack, pressurise high up the pitch, make it hard to get the ball and harder still to retain it especially with the injury to Romeu.
A central core dominating possession with neat triangles and strikers pressurizing high up the pitch.
Werner again with a false striker role, drag your marker out of position which isolates the makeshift CB so Dembele & Mboula can capitalise. Both wingers to look to come into spaces early and run at defence.
With a compact central midfield supporting defence, the FBs can support on the flanks.
We expect counters, neutralise this early in the opponents half with cynical yet innocuous tackles, one’s that Barca do on a weekly basis.
With Koziello, Seri & Bakayoko protecting there’s great combination of positioning and strength to maintain pressure and regain possession. If defending for periods then drop to a 4141 formation. Defense comfortably play the ball out, pay particular attention to attacks down the flank, close early and keep on weaker foot.

GAMEPLAN
Today we're gonna pack the midfield with some b2b players who will help both in attack and defence. I want Cyprien and Keita to help our fullbacks in defending duties against the pacy Fake Dembele and Traore. Tousart stick close to Mbappe and double team him asap with help of the defence.

DEFENCE
Vallejo mark their main striker, Zagadou to do covering. Fullbacks make overlapping runs and get crosses into the box. Tousart's main role defen, cut passing lanes and close down attackers. Cyprien and Keita will be playing as b2b and will help both attack and defence. Make runs forward, play quick one twos to create space in middle. CM's to drift out wide and get crosses in occasionally.


ATTACK
Asensio to play quick passes with teammates and make runs into box. Kane play as proper old school number 9. Get on end of crosses and use expert poacher skills to get goals. Gnabry use pace to play off defenders shoulders look for through balls and time your run.

Tactics - Bambamdiola goes with a 3-3-3-1 to control our half with possession football before releasing a lethal front 4.

Sanchez to pick up Kane with De Ligt/Ake able to offer cover on his quick turns - keep compact, let them make crosses and clear with ease

Motta to stay as a shield in front of the back 4, Passlack is there to keep a bit of width should they use any, but we think they'll be playing narrow and are looking to match them and overpower their midfield.

Dembele is the primary runner from midfield, but look to feed the front 4 whenever possible

Front 4 can all switch positions - look to target their CB pairing with Orban missing by switching to 2 up top with Ceballos moving wider. Traore to test Robertson in defence whenever possible.

Away to Marseille today, I want us to play a pressing game whenever they are in our half and utilise our pace when counter attacking.

Baumann, command your area at all times, distribute long and wide, be wary of long range efforts.

Defence, Sule mark their striker, Schar to play as the spare man to get to any second balls. Henrichs and Theo to overlap our wingers going forward, but track back quickly.

Midfield, Henrique and Gueye sit in front of the back four, ensure we are hard to penetrate. In possession use your passing and power to get the ball to Amiri. Amiri will use his trickery to create space and chances.

Attack, Pulisic and Piazon to run at the Marseille defence, get crosses in to Ibrahimovic but on occasion cut infield, either to link with Amiri or Ibrahimovic, or to feed Henrichs and Theo overlapping you. Shoot when it opens up. Ibrahimovic to get onto the end of every cross and pass, shoot on sight, try to spin in behind the last defender.
