There's complaining and there's telling people what to think. Some people don't know the difference.

I do hate people ho will double down just because they see someone as left or right wing. Judge the situation. Trump is an idiot. A bigot. A sexual harasser and worse.

Re: The Trump Presidency
Rick Gates, Trump's former consultant who we will no doubt be told was nothing but a low level coffee boy has pled guilty to like 50 charges, in an apparent plea deal with the FBI to turn on Paul Manafort, Trump's pro bono campaign manager. He will most likely turn out to be some guy Donald gave change that one time. Total nobody

No, if you think trump is bad you should challenge him, his policies and what he gets up to.
Not wait around for him to make such a complete and utter mess of things that even his die hard support thinks he's doing a bad job (he'd have to Poopie on a US flag for some of them to even consider that).
Stupid idea.

You've got the wrong end of the stick mate
I'm not saying you shouldn't challenge Trump, I'm saying the anti-Trump people aren't just complaining about Trump, they're targeting Trump voters with their vitriol and it's only going to have the opposite effect.

Not clear you meant his supporters with this.
But yes if you keep shouting people down and telling them they are wrong they will most likely reinforce their position, unfortunately.

Fair. But yeah by throwing everything at him, I include targeting his voters.
I do also include the Russia thing, which does smack of desperation. When Trump said Russia might hack the election, before the election, he was laughed at, but as soon as he won, now apparently it's plausible

NRA are an easy target but think the tide will turn on gun control in America in the next decade or so. Harder and harder to convince the younger generations they need a gun just because when people their age are victims.

I really, really, really hope that this guy Peterson turns out to be telling the absolute truth and then goes after Trump and his weasel of a former boss with everything he legally can.
Actually, next time there is a shooting going on, maybe they can send Trump in and subsequently give the shooter some sort of commendation for doing the World a favour?

Sanders is well to the right of Corbyn and he was called a Communist..
Afraid it is Extreme right vs right...
However Bernie like Corbyn ran the Establishment close..
Think the USA will have to start moving left..Both parties..
Sanders endorsement will be big in 2020....My guess is Liz Warren will get it.

The USA like the UK is hopeless divided..
However the Economy is improving....Tax bills have been paid and the phony bombing of Syria has helped no doubt with the hawkish tribes...
42% isn't bad......With the incumbency bonus he'd get in 2020 he has a decent shout if he can sustain..
Russia may be his Achilles heal...However..
Politics begins for most in their own homes....
Wouldn't be the first thicko to survive because of a growing economy.....
Just ask Ulysses Grant and Andrew Jackson..

NBC poll....
Trump approval rating..
Approve 44%...+5
7/10 think the Economy has improved under Trump...
44% think Trump should be credited with the improving Economy..
38% think Trump shouldn't...
These figures shouldn't upset the Democrats too much but they should be of slight concern..

After two years in office.....
Reagan and Obama were on 44%....
Worth remembering they had economies that were struggling though..
Trump is blessed with a self healing Economy....
Democrats still 10 points ahead Nationally though...
Trump gets his own type of voter and GOP voters with nowhere to go..
GOP lawmakers have the latter but not necessarily the former..

Interesting. GOP want power, whatever the cost. It may be that they damage themselves for the long term by supporting this clown regardless.
I'm sure you're right, sadly, re. the economy. Even though Trump has nothing to do with it, it's just about the money; especially in the USA.

The point is his approval rating is going up....
He has 87% approval rating in his own Party...
His overall approval rating is 44%..
Truman beat Dewey in 1948 with a 36% approval rating..
"It is the Economy stupid" Is becoming more pertinent an observation..
5/4 to win a 2nd term....Who would have thought that a year ago ??

Obvious in November 2016 that he was going to beat Clinton; equally obvious that he'll win a second term if he chooses to run again.

That's why Americans need guns.... to protect themselves from Wackos with petrol cans. Not all Liberals are decent atheist lawnmower users. Ya gotta take some of 'em down for protection purposes.
PS. Correct on first comment too. Some people almost voted in Hillary Clinton just to keep their grip on power. Thank God (or Meryl Streep if you're an atheist) that nightmare was halted...right?????

Childish to me but slightly funny for some I guess.
Don't get me wrong though. I'd like to see more proper balloons and airships in the air.
But go easy on the political statement bit... and don't get too corny either. But then there's art so almost anything goes. Especially these days.

Why don't protesters ever learn that the Beast (Trump) draws energy from eejits walking (or paragliding) with endless displays of mass produced 'spontaneous' Anti-Trump placards?
He loves being a rebel. He loves the slogans. He loves the attention. I think the last laugh, as we look back at this period in historic terms (perhaps in 50 or 60 years time) will be with Trump himself (or his ghost) as the early 21st century's overwrought worldwide paranoia and victimhood psychosis epidemic will be studied at Academic level pretty much as the Salem Witch trials might be studied and pretty much as the McCarthy witch hunts are studied.
If you're not publically TRAUMATISED by the Trump Presidency, you're probably a witch and need burning.

I don't agree Fly. He needs to be loved by all. Remember when he got really annoyed by Sean O'Rourke when he asked him about his hair a few year ago.
The interesting thing actually about that interview (which was about his Hotel & Golf Club in Ireland), he actually he seemed to have a decent enough grasp of the subject matter - now he just sounds as if he is completely out of his depth.
Article here by Fintan O'Toole for the Irish Times which our British neighbours might find interesting.

America is doing okay with him Sin. Just coz he don't quote Yeats or Shakespeare (in pompous speeches written by employed scriptwriters - like most of the rest of them have resorted to) don't mean he's out of his depth. He's in his comfort zone.... it's the rest of the world that are on the valium ... and helium by the sounds of much of the endless protesting.
I like his gunslinger approach. It's refreshing. The world needed him to rattle the cages of the self-satisfied, self-righteous usual pontificators on all things moral, sexual, racial and scientific. And BOY has he gotten a herd of those folks furious the world over. I love it.

Wasn't there a shock on election night?
Shocks usually happen when polls trip over their own history.
Anyway, on that score - 43% - I'd say the plot-ists of his downfall are scratching their heads that he's still anywhere near the 40s despite their best, best efforts to drive the news agenda worldwide that he's barking mad, has a desire for a nice WW3, loves despots, is a despot and hates every sex and colour that isn't a Billionaire white sexist heterosexual who love golf.
43%? STILL????
"What the hell do we gotta do with this guy to sink him??!!!" says Hillary from her secret Strategy Bunker in the Louisiana swamplands.
"Why don't we try an intern?," grunts Bill as he takes a swing of a nine iron, bored gutless listening to the endless conferences Hillary has with the worldwide News Editors Against Trump faction of the Factually Factful News Movement.
