Foreign Transfer Page
As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.
For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.
There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.
Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

As Nick says, you don't rate your own side in predos. Daly is a handy option, don't rate him highly at 13 but so what?

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
Where did I say this?
I said I rate forwards as a higher commodity than backs. Isiekwe is another Itoje in the making imo....19 and capped is something special.
Is it attack Pooly day today!!

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
Sorry Pooly, wasn't having a dig just jesting around. Looks like my ratings may be off, though. I would have thought a starting lions player would be rated far better than an emerging England/academy player.
How about Brown v Mallinder?

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
I rated at a similar level mate tbh. Not many players get capped at 19 in the pack, I think hes a bit special, similar with Curry.
Brown obviously better than Mallinder but reaching the end. Mallinder huge potential but needs to nail a position sooner or later, although still young.

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
If everyone rated players the same this game would be boring and monotonous.
it's when people (Chris/Matt/Samthequin ) start getting offended and defensive that it gets silly

Re: Foreign Transfer Page
You cant remember Costswold Wolf???
A new joiner to 606 a week or so after Matt left. Lived in the Cotswolds obviously (as Matt did), supported Gloucester and favourite player was May.
Took him about 3 posts to revert to Matt's bizarre way of writing.
And least Chris made an effort with his psudonsm!

For me would rather Hartley than best. Best goes to pieces with his throwing regularly. Owens would have been first name on sheet at hooker if based on form of 6N.
I can see a front row of McGrath Owens and Cole.
Cole a tremendous 3
And furlough gives impact off bench.
As a glos fan we all thought Moriarty would be our only lion with laidlaw out injured.
Been superb last 2 seasons.
and more intelligent than Haskell. Also an excellent lineout man. Would not expect him to be near the test side though.
Biggest surprise for me is henderson

It was easy to spot I'll admit that.
Had the best squad by miles at one stage but wouldn't change his opinions on players if they were injured or deteriorated with age.

Matt was a very knowledgable guy but extremely arrogant with it. I admit I gave him a hard time but it was just what he had done to me over the years, we were as bad as each other. His problem was he got so utterly wound up by it, quite amazing really how much he would bite. His attacks near the end are fantastic reading if you look back.
