First topic message reminder :
As a general rule, if you want a world class player (and by world class I mean a player that I consider to be one of the 3 best in the world in his position at the moment), you will be looking at between £20-25 million.
For a top international with over 30 caps, £17-22 million, and an international with less than 30 caps £15-20 million. There may be some exceptions to this in the case of certain players, but this will be the general rule.
There will be an upper limit of £10 million for uncapped academy aged players unless two or more managers want the player and enter into a bidding war in which case there is no upper limit.
Bids for uncapped players who are over academy age limits will be judged on their own individual merits.

Finally, the 'mini' foreign transfer window will work as it has done in the past (blind bids etc), however, as we have all received a few injuries you are only looking for a particular calibre of player. This window, open from 0900, Friday 29th December, will allow you to sign any uncapped player, or a player with 5 caps or fewer. The window will close on Friday 5th January at 1700. So get your thinking caps on..
