Week 1 Tactics
- Cape-Coat Mysterious Dwarfs :
- Tactics – Dwarfs vs Fussball
Injuries:
Danijel Subasic
Danilo D'Ambrosio
Ignazio AbateSchmeichel
Odriozola----Sokratis----Chiellini----Halstenberg
Tousart----Arnals
Jesus Corona---Boudebouz----Bruma
Silva
Subs: Didillon, Gomez, Suarez, Lens, Grifo, Alario, Hwang
Tactics:
Attacking
Patient passing, lots of pass and move to stretch opposition and create gaps/chances.
Tousart/Arnals to dictate play from deep.
Corona/Bruma to attack channels between defenders.
Boudebouz in free role behind Silva
Full backs to bomb on to provide width
Silva lead line, get on to through balls and crosses into the box
Defensive
High energy, high pressing line, win the ball back high up the pitch.
Sokratis and Chiellini to pick up attackers, if one spare, Chiellini to play spare and pick up runs into the box/loose balls
Odriozola/Halstenberg to pick up widemen, Tousart/Arnals to slot back in and cover this, when FBs bomb on.
Substitutions
if losing on 65 mins, Alario (CF) and Gomez (CB) on, Corona and Bruma off – go 3-4-1-2
If winning on 65 minutes, Boudebouz off, Suarez on, go 4-3-3

-------------Garcia-----------Fellaini--------------
-----Payet-----------------------------Rashford-----
----------------------Vietto------------------------
BENCH
Sportiello
Piszczek
Foyth
Blin
Kovalenko
Eder
Townsend
TACTICS
Our midfield is very strong and we want to bully them from the start, pressing them quickly and not allowing them to play a passing game.
Vietto to get in behind, pressing their centre backs as deep as possible.
This will create more space for the four behind to operate in.
Raul Garcia and Fellaini are both fantastic in the air and I want them both charging into the box to get on the end of aerial balls to overload them.
Payet and Rashford need to be on the ball as much as possible, both cutting in from wide. Payet is more of the playmaker whereas Rashford should run with the ball, getting between their CB and FB.
Defensively, I want Baines to be more cautious and stay back to deal with the winger.
Evans and Reid should look to hold station rather than chasing down Silva as they can easily get dragged out of position.
SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning
65' Townsend for Payet - add pace to the counter.
75' Blin for Garcia - shore up midfield
If losing
60' Eder for Medel - move to an attacking 4-4-2.
80' Kovalenko for Garcia - straight swap for creativity
- Kalamazoo Outrage:
- ----------------------------------Romero---------------------------------------
-------------------Bruma-------Silva----------Mere--------------------------
Jantschke---Lemina---Pellegrini---Locatelli-------Darmian
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------Asensio-----------------------------------
-------------------------------------Belotti----------------------------------
Injuries:
Ramon Abila
Timothee Kolodziejczak
Maximiliano Gomez
Subs:
Muslera, Radu, Oxford, Saponara, Verdi, Nani, Solanke
Up against a very strong attacking side so frustrate in numbers and capitalize on breaks with speed & intelligence.
Defensive
Intelligent CBs comfortable with the ball at feet, cover, close down and contain. WBs with speed look to intercept before opponents advance, keep opponents on weaker foot where possible. Midfield trio sit deep, protect defense and space left by WBs when coming forward, restrict opportunities. Retain discipline at all times.
Attacking
Lemina as DLP, spread ball quickly when in possession, anticipate and intercept when not. Locatelli strong in tackles but not reckless, mix up passes, occasionally hit one over the top, protect the wing backs when required. Pellegrini furthest forward, create space as outlet, don’t be afraid to take shot from distance.
Asensio with free role behind Belotti, look for knockdown, go into channels and take on players. Belotti be a constant thorn in the defence, forever niggling them, strong from the front
70m - Solanke > Locatelli. Go 532 Asensio dropping deeper, Solanke adding extra pace
80m - Radu > Jantschke. Fresh legs on flank to protect
- Shakhtar Senseless:
- Kalamazoo Outrage v SHAKHTAR SENSELESS
Injuries: Fazio, Trapp, StambouliMitryushkin
Henrichs - Maksimovic - Mascherano - Gerhardt
Kramer - Asamoah
Juanmi - Lallana - Ljajic
G Jesus
Subs: Ruffier, Nastasic, Tete, Ferri, Young, Kruse, Druissi
---
Away to Kalamazoo Outrage today, I want us to play a pressing game whenever they are in our half and utilise our pace when counter attacking.
Mitryushkin, command your area at all times, distribute long and wide, be wary of long range efforts.
Defence, Maksimovic mark their striker, Mascherano to play as the spare man to get to any second balls. Henrichs and Gerhardt to overlap our wingers going forward, but track back quickly.
Midfield, Kramer and Asamoah sit in front of the back four, ensure we are hard to penetrate. In possession use your passing and power to get the ball to Lallana. Lallana will use his trickery to create space and chances.
Attack, Juanmi and Ljajic to run at the Outrage defence, get crosses in to Jesus but on occasion cut infield, either to link with Lallana or Jesus, or to feed Henrichs and Gerhardt overlapping you. Shoot when it opens up. Jesus to get onto the end of every cross and pass, shoot on sight, try to spin in behind the last defender.
Substitutions
If winning: Juanmi off, Ferri on. 4-5-1, Lallana RW, Ljajic LW.
If losing: Maksimovic/Asamoah off, Kruse/Druissi on. All out attack, 3-1-4-2.
- Deportivo Wanka:
- Injuries - Valencia, Pizzarro, Cresswell
--------------------Areola
Johnson --- Miranda - Vestergaard -- Rose
-------------Fejsa --- Cazorla
Ribiero ---------Jonas ---------Hazard
------------------Bakambu
Bench - Belenov, Fuchs, Mandi, Lodeiro, Torres, Jiminez, Penaranda
-Miranda & Vestergaard to stand strong and defend the back line with Rose and Johnson covering
-Fejsa to drop in almost as an extra CB at times to support against forward
-Ribiero & Hazard will be required to get back and defend against the wide play
-Fejsa to watch the oncoming AM don't allow him to move the ball about
- Cazorla to push on and operate the ball into advanced areas
- Ribiero & Hazard to push on out wide and look to whip the ball into Bakambu
-Bakamby to poach in and around the penalty area with Jonas looking to feed from behind and the whipped crosses from Ribiero & Hazard
Subs - Penaranda on for Ribiero, Jiminez for Jonas if losing with 10 to go 4-4-2
- Ebbsfleet United:
- Deportivo Wanka v EBBSFLEET UNITED
Injuries: Aleksander Kolarov, Lars Bender and Steven Defour
Formation (5-3-2):
-------------------Handanovic--------------------
Trippier----Bartra—Ake---Retsos---Souare
---------Ramires---San Jose---Goretzka------
-------------------Plea-------Vardy----------------
Subs: Neto, Simpson, Caroica, Rode, Lingard, Pedro, Perez
Tactics:
Being cautious with first game and looking to outwit manager Nando. FB’s to remain on high alert from overlapping play from Wanka FB’s and keep to defensive duties. Ake to keep Jiminez quiet and wary of balls behind. Retsos to be watchful for SS’s too. Bartra to help Trippier with Hazard inside runs. High tempo play from our centre 3 looking to snuff out Carzola’s influence and to break down moves quickly before they begin. With the ball, Ramires and Goretzka break forward quickly with both Plea and Vardy playing on CB’s shoulders and looking to beat CB pairing with pace.
Any time after 70mins (if losing or drawing). Lingard for Retsos and Pedro for Plea. Go 4-3-3 with Pedro as RW and Lingard as LW. Both wingers counting inside to support Vardy, with Trippier and Souare getting forward on the outside. Looking now to go for the win with fresh legs and exploiting what we think Nando would have thought we would start with.
- Olympique Marswag:
- Injuries:
Miguel Layun
Steven Davis
Etrit Berisha
-------------------Farhmann-------------------
Zappacosta---Lemos----Vertonghen----Gibbs
-----------------Gustavo--Tolisso--------------
Robben------------Demirbay----------Deulofeu
-------------------Willian Jose-------------------
Subs: Meret, Dawson, Riedewald, Guardado, Coric, Ritchie, Llorente
Defending
Defensively today our FB's need to be sitting deep to protect the wide areas. Zappacosta can push on more out wide but will need to push back and protect in the turnover of possession. Protection of the back line will come from Gustavo sitting deep covering the central area. Lemos and Vertonghen will be commanding the penalty area keeping the danger out and looking to take the ball out of the air.
Attacking
All our attacks will start with Tolisso, working the ball forward from deep bringing others into play with his passing. Possession is key and Demirbay being the link in between Tolisso and Jose will help this. Zappacosta will be getting forward out on the right side meaning that Robben can tuck inside and look to cause danger. Jose to play on the last defender and look for the service in behind. Deulofeu to pressure the RB on our left side.
75th - Guardado on for Gustavo to maintain the energy in the central area.
80th - Llorente on for Jose making the crosses from out wide more important hitting the target in the centre
85th - Coric on for Demirbay to keep supplying Jose late on
- Fiorentina Turner:
- ‘Tina Turner vs Olympic Arsebag (4-2-3-1)
Injuries:
Diogo Jota, Roque Mesa, Felipe
…………………………….Fabianksi……………………………..
Alves…………………Mori……….Izzo……….Wendell….
………………………Badelj………..Wijnaldum…………….
Chiesa………………………Malli………………………..Bailey
…………………………………Cutrone…………………………..
Subs: Babacan, Montoya, Holding, Ilsanker, Gignac, Denisov, De Jong
Tough opener away at Milky’s boys, no idea how they’ll set-up and even less of an idea of half of his squad, I do know of Robben though and as he’s made of glass we’ll target his knees with every tackle, hit him hard fairly or not it makes no difference to me, just stop him before he gets going.
Fast paced one touch football for us today, draw arsebag onto us and hit them quickly on the counter, Alves and Wendell are great attacking full-backs so they will push on adding extra weight to our attacks. Mori is evertons best defender (don’t say a lot does it) but at just shy of 6ft2 has the physical attributes to man mark their ST. Izzo (I like how I get the match fixer) is the free man to sweep up the loose balls.
My 3 amigos are fluid interchangeable in their roles, stretch the play and switch flanks, keep Arsebag guessing. Badelj will sit and recycle possession whilst Wij goes B2B.
Cutrone – the foxinthebox, Inzaghi-lite
Subs:
65 mins
Holding >Mori
Gignac > Cutrone
De Jong > Malli
- Deportivo Moron:
- SAS:

Thanks Miky. I appreciate the effort you put in! Is it possible to include the formatting that is put in as it makes them easier to read.

Re: Week 1 Tactics
I know what the problem is Afro - it's the same problem we had with the homepage template where the coding doesn't come across. Marky sent his on FB and he put the coding in there and as it wasn't the website, when i pasted it in here it centred his formation etc.
I have fixed it for you anyway.

It's just a case of quoting the PM once it's open, and copying from there, it'll have all the coding with it.

Re: Week 1 Tactics
Cheers Miky. I don’t want to be a pain, but it is an important part of my tactics that the wide AMs are playing a little bit narrower.
