Hero unanimous decision. Wink

As Tino used an injured player I think it's the other way around Trebs.

No love for a January transfer window bonanza-phon then? I want to do some deals!

Something about Rashford being over-rated yarda yarda ya. But we know he isn't.

I could see your thought process Trebs about picking wingers with a higher work rate and more willing to track back. Problem is that the formation I could understand more if it was over two legs and you were protecting a first leg win. It meant you had no real threat unfortunately.

It was myself that gave it but with the added caveat that if the player was swapped for an alternative he'd get the win. Know it is Tina's error for not spotting it but logically if a player is injured in RL before a game a team doesn't just go out with 10 players and don't think we should just be dickish on the voting as a result.

So what's the point of having injuries then? if they just get replaced in your XI anyways? Erm

Ole is correct here tbf. No point of injuries if can just ignore them ill just start my best XI then let you guys figure what needs replacing.

I find it an odd call by Hero considering every other time it's happened that side just auto loses.

Also Hero did point out in votes that he noticed it..

With it being very tight at the top and because it could all hinge on GD, I think Olly should get an unanimous win.

It is an unfortunate mistake but I think injuries is a rule we can't mess about with for the reasons above. If you play an injured player then you forfit the match.

It does say SAS split win - and I’ve got no issue with what Hero done voting wise if that’s the rule - it just needs clarifying either way so we all know going forth thumbsup

Well done mate, I had a feeling I did the wrong thing after submitting tactics. But I really like your midfield and if I was voting on the tactics I would have gone for a win to you......annoyingly because of the main reason mentioned.

Even if I played wingbacks to get more width I would have played into your hands with 2 in midfield like you thought.

Looking forward to the next game. It's been a really well run league so these lil teething issues over rules is a small thing in comparison.

Morning all

I do remember in a realistic league a long time ago Messi getting injured in a title decider.
They decided to play him anyway because they'd have sooner had a half fit Messi than whoever their backup was.

I would say injury = playing with 10 men
Easier to quantify that way

I'd say it's at the choice of the opponent. I think most of us are reasonable and would like to see a proper 11 v 11 game, and I think for something like this it should be a gentleman's agreement rather than a hard and fast rule.

I'm with Trebs. If you play an injured player, it is the equivalent of not having that player.

I'm all for realism, but people just need to take responsibility for making sure they are not playing injured people. Applying reality leaves too much assumption for the voter

I suggest making it compulsory to put your injuries at the top of your tactics so voters can quickly check

Yeah I'm more inclined to be flexible as would rather have a proper match. The only problem is if one person agrees for one game and another doesn't for another it could impact final standings.

It is only a fun game but I think injuries are one rule that needs to be strict. Otherwise, like Nando said earlier, there is no point having them.
