Greatest Musical Artist of the last 100 Years - The Final!

So after a month and a half it's boiled down to the final four artists. The votes have been coming in their erm double figures, big names have fallen by the wayside, but now it's your decision that counts to crown the first ever v2 Musical Artist of the last 100 years...

The Beatles
David Bowie
Jimi Hendrix
The Rolling Stones

So we've ended up with four artists who were at the height of their fame in a ten year period, three of whom are English with the other living in London.

'The Final' - what a very elegant and highly appropriate name for the final.
We have wasted a lot of time very much enjoyed the process of getting to The Beatles.

Voted for Bowie. If it were a poll to find Hibbz's favourite musical artist of the last 100 years then Dylan would win but Bowie would certainly be getting a podium place alongside Tom Petty. I love some of his early stuff and Hunky Dory is as good an album as I own. Especially because of it's ode to Dylan

Should have been between Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Aretha Franklin. And the final two (?) would be imo Elvis Presley & The Beatles.

That's a very fair method of resolving ties. I would like to propose that it become the official method in 606v2 polls.

Neither has a majority. We get rid of 4th place and go again. If only to see what name Hero gives it.

I'm going to make the executive decision that a winner has to be 2 clear votes ahead to be declared the winner in the final. I've also removed the option to vote for the Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix.

Do we not get another vote?

It's a shambles. Paul McCartney will be spinning in his grave.

Can't we just look at Beatles lyrics to decide?

Queen got knocked out in a particularly hard group in Round 3 that consisted of them, Prince, Michael Jackson and Pink Floyd.

Disaster. I thought they would be right up their. Better than the Beatles IMO
