Ben is probably rated more highly since he was called up first. Injured though.

IIRC, Tom was due to get the first call-up over the summer, but got injured and seems to have dropped off the radar.

Yeah they'd only ever been in squads together, Ben was named to play the Barbarians, got injured, Tom Stepped in, never looked back.

I've been seeing clips of the third Curry brother, Arthur, when I go to the cinema with my kids. He looks pretty handy, but I think he might not have been born in England.

Did I read somewhere that Curry was injured and Simmonds has been called up to the bench?

Just seen it on BBC - at least we wont be requiring Robshaw to cover no.8 then.

Handy in wet weather though I imagine. Would have thought he was more of a league fan though.

At least we'll get to see how Simmonds looks at this level!
I agree I think Lawes should have been rested as well. Lock is the one position that we really can afford to rest players.
Think other Curry is injured himself currently.

Must be funny when one curry replaces the other - as in 'That guy must have some engine, he's playing like he's only just got on the pitch'

We've been used to it for a while at Quins with the Robshaw twins...

I predict a horsing as the Pumas were more disjointed than usual during the last Rugby Championship. Hope to see some of the young English bucks step up.

Well Underhill is doing a Haskell from the Australia tour..ie hitting everything that moves ...HARD.
Lawes stripped by Hernandez the fly half . .he won't be happy with that.
Not much else of a game so far.
6-3

Agreed and I don't see the logic to yellow? If it's a card it's red surely.GeordieFalcon wrote:Argetinina fb yellow carded ...Very harsh

I think he's lucky it's not red, he pulled brown downwards by the arm which turned him to land the way he did

Indeed:
"Not in a realistic position to get the ball"...except that he had his hands on the ball at the same time as Brown

He challenged for it Scottf. It shouldn't have been a yellow. But your right...if they go by the book should have been a red.

Did the RFU amend the laws again so that only they could compete for the high ball? That yellow was ludicrous, he had his hands on the ball.

He didn't pull downwards on the ball though, he did on browns arm. Would of been fine if it wasn't for that

Almost agree. It was dangerous though and was perhaps .1 sec too late. 50/50 call on the yellow imo

How's it a yellow? He landed on his head. Yellow isn't an option.

Is that a reply to me? Unfortunately in rugby, as you well know, freak injuries can occur. When two players are jumping in the air competing for a ball there is a risk attached even if both players compete fairly. You can't penalise a player for competing fairly. And you can keep your suggestions to yourself, chap.

Underhill looks like a very powerful option at 7.

Underhill has had an effective 40. Not sure on Lawes this half . Hartley has made some carries...I'm shocked.
Slade has had glimpses of what could be.....

Worst half for Lawes for sometime. Underhill has had some crunching tackles.
Honestly Argentina need to change their selection policy.
This will go to a 30 point win.

Yeah the pack looks flat. Vunipola looks ace ball in hand passing but another day to forget in the scrum. The yellow is a bad decision. Only thing it couldn't have been!

Yep saw that - if the ref judged it to be a dangerous challenge it had to be red as he landed on his head.

Still struggling to see this Improved carrying of Lawes....the strip from Hernandez was not something he'll want to remember either. Better needed in the 2nd from quite a few of the senior players.

I think my feelings on Lawes is he always looks physically weaker than the other locks we have (looks like bambi). I may be completely wrong...that's just my perception.
He's been outstanding this season though so maybe just having a bad game.
Watson has taken two good high balls
