don't think so, unless it's just general wear and tear. I hadn't played tennis for several days when it started. Just woke up on 23rd Dec with pins & needles in left hand and it never went away, until neck, shoulder, arm all got involved.

These things happen. Might be due to the extreme cold of winter perhaps?

I’m about 7 awful categories into my plan for another culture cup. If you like ambiguous and unexciting categories about (what can be loosely termed as) culture, then you’ll love this!

Morning, how are things up north?

Hope things in the midlands have improved for Julius.

So far so good my boy, I hope Jules is back to his usual rambunctious self also.

It is actually quite warm here, for once, though the missus has a cold which is worse than any other cold ever and means that due to some unholy cough I am decamped to the couch to get some sleep of an eve.

I'm also sleeping on the couch as, apparently, I wake the baby up due to all the noise I make going to bed and getting up. The cat is loving it, she thinks I've been put there for her entertainment.

People shouldn't have to apologise for having mental health issues. If someone reacts in a way that isn't the way you'd react - maybe it's because he hasn't had the life you've had. Maybe the situation is a trigger for some past trauma to re-surface, and just maybe you should ask how they are and offer sympathy and not judgement.
That can be difficult to do, because everyone has their own lives to lead and their own problems to deal with, but maybe just try.

What happened?

I have a big problem with people lying to me. Past traumas.
So this weekend a mate lied to me, in order that I didn't find out something that might have hurt me. So it was done with good intentions, but a lie nonetheless.
Of course, it came out, and I was very upset and angry and didn't hold back in telling him.
Mutual friends have come out on his side - saying I was over-reacting, keep it in perspective, he was trying to protect you.
So now it's even more upsetting that they can't understand the reasons why it hurt me to such an extent and they think I'm in the wrong. But when you're life has been f*cked up in the past by lies, you can't handle any more of them, however well-intentioned.

Is a bit of a c*nt of a situation but can see it from your point of view, once you're past childhood do you really need to be protected?

Exactly. The truth, as it turned out, would have been a small hurt, and even if it had been a big one, it would have been my choice how I dealt with it, and he could have supported me from that point if needed.

I found it quite disturbing how old Tinky Winky was. I wonder if they'll flush him down the toilet so kids learn about death or get someone else in. If the latter, I hope it's the angry Kiwi.
