Has to be Adelaide for me, narrowly lost out to Melbourne City last season but I don't think they will have much competition this time around as long as Hero doesn't f*ck it up

2. Where do you see your side placing at the end of the season?
Probably bottom half with my overly attacking tactics, but I feel that I will always have entertaining games of football to watch at least!

3. Best signing you've made since the end of S2?
Luka. I feel that if I can get a top DM alongside him, I'll actually have some kind of stability alongside the creativity in my 3-2-3-2 formation!

4. Your tip for top goalscorer?
Cristiano Ronaldo. Wellington will be up there in the top half, I can see him getting plenty of goals.

5. Who is the one player signed since the end of S2 that you wish you'd signed?
For all the talk of Neymar, I'd prefer to have Goretzka added to my side right now. Top signing.

6. How much of S3 is you planning for the Fifa 19 reboot ahead of S4? Obviously ratings will change but in terms of tactical approach?
S3 I'll see how the over attacking goes. If it doesn't work out, then I may have a proper reboot for S4 and also actually buy the game to do some homework on possible tactical approaches.

7. How long until Jose Mourinho leaves Man U?
I think it's going to be February/March time, possibly after a massive January Transfer Window related bust up coupled with not challenging for the title.

8. With Miky leaving, we owe him a lot for getting this league up and running. What's your tribute to Miky?
Miky, I'll miss you. You're the guy who got this league going, and for that we are forever grateful. Have a happy retirement on your remote island my friend.

9. Now master tactician Trebs is back in, do you think he'll make a big difference to Brisbane or will they still be in the bottom half come the end of S3?
I think Trebs will improve Brisbane purely by putting effort in, Miky clearly lost interest and it's a shame really. I can see Trebs' Brisbane being top half.

10. Do you think the frozen TM value approach has worked so far?
I think it has, it's delayed Hero buying Neymar when with his stock market abusing of the system, he could have ended up with him far earlier

I don't think Aguero scored a goal for me last season was strongly considering shipping him out

Gotta be Adelaide with that front 3. The games that he dropped points against some of the weaker sides won't happen with that bunch

I'm hoping to challenge for the title, so anything below 3rd would be a big disappointment. I've got a strong side on paper, just need to get it right tactically especially going forward, I have a strong set of forwards and wingers so its on me to get them firing

Haven't signed many, but I'm planning on making a splash very soon. By default its Martial at the moment

4. Your tip for top goalscorer?

Think Hero's side is the best attacking force, so I'll go with Bale or Neymar. Also think Suarez could be dangerous in Afro's hands

5. Who is the one player signed since the end of S2 that you wish you'd signed?

Mane was the one I was planning on spending the Martial lawyer cash on. The likes of Mbop and Neymar would obviously be great if feasible

6. How much of S3 is you planning for the Fifa 19 reboot ahead of S4? Obviously ratings will change but in terms of tactical approach?

I'm just going to try and win this league, given the FIFA 19 change to being able to switch game plans in play I think its too early to tell how it will change

7. How long until Jose Mourinho leaves Man U?

I think he'll see out the season. The team won't play that badly again, will probably beat Spurs and the noise will quieten down. I think they'll get top 4 then "mutually consent" to part ways

I thank Miky for bringing bottom related conversations to the world of sports gaming

Think it will take a couple of weeks for Trebs to get up to speed, and with a shortened season it may be a big ask to get into the top half

Definitely - changes the dynamic, and I'm in favour of it continuing into the reboot

Every team needs luck to win a league title so it will be the luckiest team that wins it. But in terms of looking for favourites you look at the best team on paper - and from the looks of it I'd guess Hero or Bam. Hard to say though.

2. Where do you see your side placing at the end of the season?
We'll finish bottom of the league, my hopes for the season are zilch. Every point will be celebrated.

Ask me this question next week. I have numerous signings in mind and I'm very keen to build a side.

One of the big names like Ronaldo or Neymar? Basically any top player is in the league so it's impossible to call.

5. Who is the one player signed since the end of S2 that you wish you'd signed?
My focus is just on the players who are available to sign now. Cleverley, for instance is still out there. I don't think it does me much good to look at the players who are gone, and, to be honest, I'm not really sure who signed which players when.

6. How much of S3 is you planning for the Fifa 19 reboot ahead of S4? Obviously ratings will change but in terms of tactical approach?
I've been criticised as a negative manager, a boring manager with my tactics but I think everyone in this league knows I'm capable of pulling out a masterclass where required. This time around I've got a very good idea of the system I will play and I will nail my colours to the mast with that. I'm not sure how things have gone in this league before, but managers who have been bold with their thinking and consistently stuck to that are the ones that have had success.

7. How long until Jose Mourinho leaves Man U?
I'll be shocked if he's still at United next season. I think he'll just get sick of it and walk at some point soon.

8. With Miky leaving, we owe him a lot for getting this league up and running. What's your tribute to Miky?
I'm disappointed that miky wasn't stronger at times - with one incident in particular. However, I'm perhaps being a bit harsh on him, as many managers were at times. He did try hard and at times got walked all over by the league. He's a good kid and I wish him success with all his future endeavors, v2 and otherwise.

If it wasn't fifa format then I would be favourite to win the league - but that's by the by, it is a fifa league and I need to adapt. It's a bit of a loaded question. If I finish second bottom that will be an improvement when you consider how far adrift my side is, so I can finish in the bottom half and make a big difference. We'll have to see but I think it's for others to answer this question rather than me commenting on my own chances.

10. Do you think the frozen TM value approach has worked so far?
I think it's failed, but if the values were permanently frozen it would work. Which is something I spent a long time arguing for at the start. Fifa ratings and transfermarkt values/prices in the league are incompatible in my view.

However, I should make the point that it is just my opinion and I will be spending much less time this time around debating rules which I disagree with. All there'll be is my bitchy responses on the press conference with no follow up arguments. It was never personal, to be clear. It's just strong opinions.

Miky's ghost ship finished 8th, why do you think you would you take them backwards

Sorry - I made the assumption they finished bottom.

In that case I will consider 7th a successful season.

There are no favourites imo. As Sun Tzu once famously said "In a battle between nations who are vying for one thing, the most bloodthirsty of them shall prevail"

I see no reason why we cannot finish first.

Mbappe

Ronaldo

Maybe Neymar. Think he would well with Mbappe.

I like to live in the present. The future matters not when the present is all that matters.

It totally depends on how well he does in the coming months. We all know he plays Poopie football but if he grinds out wins then he will still be safe until a players revolt happens and he gets locked into a dark room with Lukaku.

Trebs is a very good manager......when he writes tactics and such like in the old days. But this is the new age. I feel that trebs will need to adapt to the new system of the world and if he fails to do so, he will fade away to the chasm of the abyss.

It has to an extent. There were some lucky people who benefitted from getting value increases just before the cutoff but as I am not a hater I will not say anything bad about these individuals.

I don't think there are any favourites after last season. Everyone said Adelaide round up to the last match and look what happened. If I had to pick one I would go for Melbourne Victory

Don't mind really. Exceeded all expectations last season.

Meunier. Exact copy of Lukaku on the other side.

I think Bale now he has a full season.

Would have loved to have given Fekir another chance.

Not playing for season 4 at all. I have a couple of different tactics depending on the team I'm playing. Only got it really wrong when I lost to Marky. Other than that I was able to get results against bigger teams.

If spurs win I think it will be a lot sooner than people think. Certainly before the end of the year.

I think he will be near the top half.

Yep. Only now have the massive stars really started to flood in. Reboot comes at right time too.

You can only go by what happened in season 2 as a guide. There will be changes as people are now more familiar with FIFA and how it works

Targeting finishing higher than last year. That would be progress.

I think Walker will be crucial. Will give me a bit more balance and an additional threat going forward.

4. Your tip for top goalscorer?

PEA for Hero. Hero's side score for fun and as the main striker for them, he is going to get his share.

Pizzi - I had him as an option when I signed Payet and could quite easily have gone for him instead. Had a lawyers come in for Payet, he would have been my fall back option

No thoughts of the reboot. Will wait and see what the changes are before worrying about it.

He'll be gone by Xmas.

Always a great lad, who worried about other people. You could see that he had other stuff going on and I can only say he will be missed and welcomed back whenever he wants in the future.

Be interesting to see how he gets on. He is a FIFA stalwart, so I expect him to do well, but it is a tough league and everyone else has one seasons practice!

Yes. It has helped with the speed better players are coming into the league.
