Season 3 Week 5 Press Conference Empty Re: Season 3 Week 5 Press Conference

1 I've beaten Nando too Wink I still think it's too early to say. I have to play some form teams still, plus their is still a random element. I'm in a good position and am obviously happy with it, but I'm not about to take any for granted.

2. Giving some attention to his team. Miky had other stuff going on and couldn't give his side as much time as he would normally, and as much as other managers. Naturally that would leave the team behind, so someone coming in and giving it the time has made all the difference.

3. Absolutely. He was good last year without always getting the rub of the green. He has as much chance as anyone and I look forward to my game with him

4. I think he is looking at the reboot and seeing what works and what doesn't. So where he is suffering now, he will reap the benefits in the new season.

5. Ronaldo is an obvious one, as is Neymar. But I think with all players is about getting the tactics right for that player and if a player just doesn't suit how you are playing you have two options - change your style to suit them or get rid.

6. Regular goalscorers despite their ratings spring to mind. McKennie and Almiron are the two I can immediately think. I'm sure there are others.

7. Adelaide. I think you will need a lawyer on a high value player and those players are only really at Newcastle and Adelaide. I don't think Nadz will be able to bring himself to buy Messi.

8. Whilst the league suits, it would be good to change from Australia, so somewhere like a lower league France or German division. Honestly not too bothered though.

1. Halfway through the season, Afro has already beaten Hero, Nando & Bam and sits 2 points clear. Is the title heading to Victory?

It'll be hard to stop him now and it's certainly his to lose. There's just no real weakness in his side, a player gets injured and he's got depth to replace.

2. Fluxy remains unbeaten in 3 games since joining having taken over one of the weaker sides in the league, what’s his secret?

He's done amazing, the first teamsheet he handed in made quite a few changes and bringing in the likes of Nainggolan is a big step up on what he had.

3. Olly too is currently unbeaten after 4 games, could he be this season’s Twist and win the title?

Olly's only slightly tweaked his tactics from last season but it's been working, having watched his games Ribery has been key.

4. Marky sits bottom without a point, is the pressure mounting on him?

Be interesting to see if his trialing of new tactics works going into the new season and a weaker player rating level.

5. Which players in the league that despite their high rating just haven’t lived up to their expectations?

Neymar hasn't done much for me so far, since selling Carrasco I've not really had a left sided player that's impressed me. Outside of my team a number of strikers haven't done much especially the more physical ones like Cavani and Muller.

6. And on the flip side, who despite their low ratings has exceeded themselves?

Jordan Lukaku for Twist was great last season, Cucurella for Tino has done well too.

7. Before the season ends will Messi end up in the league, and if so which team will he join?

With Neymar not lighting it up as much as I hoped then I'd probably give Messi a go if I got a lawyer on him. For anyone else it'd involve getting lucky on a couple of big lawyers.

8. Which league would you like to use for the next season?

Quite fancy the Chinese one being that it's now available though that is a higher power level than I wanted. League 2 so I can be the mighty Macclesfield.

Not necessarily, plenty of points up for grabs, 2 points is nothing.

2. Fluxy remains unbeaten in 3 games since joining having taken over one of the weaker sides in the league, what’s his secret?
I don't think it was one of the weaker sides, just one of the most mismanaged sides. His secret is not being rubbish.

3. Olly too is currently unbeaten after 4 games, could he be this season’s Twist and win the title?
I hope so. He would be insufferable, and I'd be pleased for him.

4. Marky sits bottom without a point, is the pressure mounting on him?
I don't think there's a pressure, I'm not taking this season as seriously while it's only half length, and I'm looking for a system that works for me going into Fifa 19, part of that will include buying Fifa 19 myself next week to be able to actually do some research.

5. Which players in the league that despite their high rating just haven’t lived up to their expectations?
Big fat Iniesta. The 87 rated slob. Next to useless in this league.

6. And on the flip side, who despite their low ratings has exceeded themselves?
Dominic Poleon, he's already scored more than Benzema Laugh

7. Before the season ends will Messi end up in the league, and if so which team will he join?
Not particularly fussed if he does, I do think Hero will do it for the ego trip, so him.

8. Which league would you like to use for the next season?
I think we should use the SPL, or maybe a mixture of the bottom half teams in there and the top Scottish Championship teams if the level of the likes of Rangers/Celtic/Aberdeen/Hearts is too high.

It looks that way. Unless the fifa gods are unkind to afro that is!

2. Fluxy remains unbeaten in 3 games since joining having taken over one of the weaker sides in the league, what’s his secret?
Intensity, Integrity and Intelligence. These are the things that define the greatness of the chosen one fluxy.

3. Olly too is currently unbeaten after 4 games, could he be this season’s Twist and win the title?
He needs to keep on getting wins to keep the pressure on at the top. He will be facing me this week and I will do everything in my power to stop him from getting the win.

4. Marky sits bottom without a point, is the pressure mounting on him?
As Sun Tzu once famously said "It is when you are at your most vulnerable you will awaken the beast within you and show those who have doubted you the true power of the enigmatic enigma"

5. Which players in the league that despite their high rating just haven’t lived up to their expectations?

Neyflop laughing

6. And on the flip side, who despite their low ratings has exceeded themselves?
Twisty has a few I'm sure. There are quite a lot of lower rated players who play better than the high 85+ rated players tbf.

7. Before the season ends will Messi end up in the league, and if so which team will he join?
A lot of people think I have a hatred for Messi but it's just not true. I hate Barcelona the club, but I respect Messi as one of the best players around, and if CR7 never existed, than Messi would comfortably be the second best player in the world being Gareth Bale.

8. Which league would you like to use for the next season?
Whichever one that is easiest for hero. He already puts a lot of time and effort in the league so no point in making the job harder.
