There have been numberous so called grand slam winners i think its about 11 at present , but to my knowledge only Ric Flair has won the Big 4 titles of WWE title, World Title , IC title, US title . A lot have won 3 of them but dont think anyone else has won all 4 , my point now that all the titles are under WWE banner this will surely happen again at some stage so who should get to do it ? Id like Triple H to do it , i know he doesnt need a title to be over and that the US belt maybe beneath him but to be the 2nd real grandslam winner to go down in history would be a fitting tribute. It should really of been Shawn but dont think he will ever get back in the ring javascript:emoticonp('king')

Not totally sure of this but I read somewhere that before he retired, Edge was the only person to have held every male title currently active in the WWE. So I guess he's won the 4 your referring to. Bret Hart also springs to mind if you take the World title to include the WCW title (as I assume you did with Flair).

Someone smarter than me needs to check this though

I think you're right about both of them, and Paignton is a lovely place.

Thanks for that Crips, I feel quite smart now which makes a nice change. Very kind of you to compliment Paignton. I'd repay the favour but my knowledge of Badstreet USA is somewhat limited

Kurt Angle is only one of two people (along with Edge) to have won every active title in the WWE at the moment. This makes him both a triple crown champion and a grand slam champion.

Same here. I'm tempted to doubt its very existence. But it sounds better than Watchet, Somerset.

I think Edge has won the most titles ever in WWE. Might be wrong on that one, but I'm pretty sure he is.

When did Edge win the US title? Obviously I knew he'd won the others, but would be interested to find out when he won The US title.

Whats remarkable (at least to me) is that Edge has won more titles in WWE than anyone ever has, is an 11 time world champion, spent 7 yrs working his way to main event level and yet he isn't (as far as I know) and Grand Slam champion in the traditional sense (i.e. he never held the european or hardcore title.)

Christian on the other hand, is. Oh well I guess thats something for christian

John Cena just needs an IC win, as does Big Show.

Eh... Orton needs a US win, so does Kane and Trips.

I cant think of any more atm.

The phrase 'Grandslam' champion was 1st coined by the WWF when Shawn Michaels won the European Championship at One Night Only British pay-per-view in England. He'd won all the major title that were in exsistance at the time (World, Tag, IC, European), it's never been refered to as WWE, World, IC & US?

From what I can see, this below is a list of the men that have won the original triple crown honor by winning the World Title, Tag Title and Intercontinental Title.

Pedro Morales
Bret Hart
Kevin Nash
Shawn Michaels
Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Rock
Kurt Angle
Eddie Guerrero
Triple H
Kane
Chris Jericho
Ric Flair
Edge
Rob Van Dam
Randy Orton
Jeff Hardy
John "Bradshaw" Layfield

Does it not count World Heavyweight Title? As that would include Booker T and Rey Mysterio as well.

I'd imagine so mate, because I think Christian is the newest Triple Crown winner after he won the World title at Extreme Rules.
