I wanted to like fifa this year because I wanted the authentic teams and stuff but I played both demos and fifa stunk. It’s like an arcade game, pes crapped all over it

Even if I have to play East Dorsetshire Reds twice a season

The reason I'm asking for the right format for pages can be seen in the Google Doc

Very quickly allows me to get a page up for each team, and have a consolidated list of every player in the league in the last tab - check the pages for Carlisle / Cheltenham / Colchester as thats the only ones I've done so far

I knew macheda would still be available after the first round of the draft, I guess I can go for him now

Guys, please can you hold off on amending your squads to reflect the bids until I've got all the pages in my doc - will then be able to add the bids in as transfers and have them reflected in the budget

I know Kang-in Lee was £900k, not sure if there were any higher

He was a lot of cash but thought it was worth it, 70 rating so max for now, 17 years old and massively rated so should be a good return in the future.

Yeah I had him down as a target later on down the line, smart move by picking him up early

I'm taking a completely different approach (as always).

Going to build up a squad as always, but going to try and pick up a handful of youngsters who are really, really under the radar, and going for absolute pittance. Theres already a few in the Bundesliga and Serie A that I have noticed

They were from my neck of the woods. That was by far their best album.

Could have picked any of the first 3 Radiohead albums tbh. All very different but were the sound of my teenage years. Was also toying with the Nirvana unplugged album.

In fact playing the Nirvana Unplugged album now. Very few bands who could take a brilliant album and play it in a different way and it still be as brilliant

That depends how you handle change really

If you want it to sound like the first album or even AM then you’re not going to like it. I really like it personally but it isn’t an instant album with a clear hit single on it, but the lyrics are excellent

Marky - did you have a look at the template for tactics?

Similar to Fifa 18, except you need to do it 5 times (for the eventualities of Ultra Defensive, Defensive, Balanced, Attacking and Ultra Attacking.

You can also dictate how many players in the box for corners and free kicks, but again, you need to do it 5 times.

Do you need to do it five times or can you not just set balanced and stay that way? Does cpu automatically change?

We've seen CPU go Ultra Attacking in the past when losing and sides end up in random systems with players out of position, least this way you have more of a say

Cheers Marky. I’ve probably got a load of questions before we start, like how normal transfers work I.e is it first come first served? And also if players stay fatigued from the previous game like on Fifa career mode?

No, players don't get fatigued as the matches are technically Exhibition matches when played out by Hero.

Transfers are first come first served, yes. We're only allowed two per week though.

Anyone who wants to use it to update their budget is most welcome, let me know and I'll send you a link which allows you to edit rather than just view

Each team has a squad page and a budget page, where transfers in / out are made.

Tactics / Press conference bonus pages are where those bonuses will be added every week once Hero confirms them

The current budget on the summary page is updated for all those who have already completed 3 draft picks - I forgot that it was going to be based on TM value so that's why the starting budget line is different for every team, essentially the budget line at the bottom is where we are after each team's draft picks
