Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Can you two give it a break or at least try and stick to one thread rather than polluting all, it's getting really tiresome.
Countdown is on.....I'm going for a 12pt win I think with us 4pts up at HT.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
If the France of the first half against Wales turn up for the full 80 minutes at Twickers, it could be quite a close contest. If it's the French of the second half, it will be a resounding hammering.
Pleased with the attacking selection that Jones has made. I reckon England will land a bonus point win, despite the poor weather.

I think England will show why there is a ~10 point rating gap.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Even parking the Ireland game for a minute, England beat Australia 37-18 last time out at Twickenham. No reason we shouldn't be targeting a similar points total today.
Here we go.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Hahaha. There's England's try in the first 2 minutes - not sure this one was planned in training though!

There are quick starts, there are fast starts, and there are English starts. Magnificent. Ruthless punishing of the French error.

Well well well. England score early again!
This one less by design then last week. Great counter attacking try though.

I’ll take it but how was that advantage over?

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Nice to see Nige actually reffing the breakdown. Eng and Ire have been exponents of the 'bind to the body and pretend you're on the ball' approach for a few years now - often winning penalties with it.
This game has points all over it. 5-6 tries England, 3 for France.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
What heaf said, it wasn't a penalty advantage.
Most outside centres eyes light up when they're confronted with two props defending together. Bastareuad just crashed the ball into Sinckler and Vunipola and got tackled behind the gain line. Shows his limitation.

Ben Kay and Ugo Monye rivalling Jiffy in the butchering players' names stakes. Guirado and now Fickou already...

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Bamba just penalised for what Itoje did to Earls last week. Overrunning the kick, pretending to compete but just blocking Daly.
Never noticed it before, definitely never seen it pinged. But now twice in two weeks.

Do love watching France. Looks a bit like a rickety cart slaloming far too quickly around a windy roadthat could collapse at any time - but that's why it looks so good.

Clinical by England. Got into the 22, good lineout, good phases and then Jonny May. Not much more to say about him.

Jonny May is such a lethal finisher. An inch or two of space and he'll take it.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Such a bad error from Parra, then the French just ball watch. Another dink in behind and May finishes it off. Vintage stuff. Reminds me of when England shredded France in 2009.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Can you imagine what the French dressing room will be like at half-time? Surely, after years of being humiliated, they'd get sick of it and actually look competitive.
Instead, it's like they think 60% of the game is optional/not important. So they don't bother with it.
Bonus point before half-time here for England.

Re: 6 Nations - England v France
England know that if they create chances they have a player who is consistently going to finish them ....that's also something for the opposition to be aware of.
