Re: 6 Nations - England v France
Sorry but Sinkler was utterly stupid there.
That costs games and world cup games if it's a yellow

I like Sinckler, good player and in your face, doesn’t take it over the line though like now.

@collapse, that happened after he was tackled, you can’t use the play after the offence to judge the penalty.

Kyle Sinckler has this stupid streak in him. Not the first time, needs to curb it, because he's a fine player. Nige should have binned him.

Patronising slap on the head? Talking pish Dellaglio! It was a pretty hefty slap and grab. Lucky not to get a yellow.
So completely needless by Sinkler though!

No it didnt. Fairly easy to see Ashton miss the kick forward before he is tackled on the replay.

I do agree that's stupid and should be a yellow for Sinckler though.

In a different match that is a yellow that could cost the game.
Sinckler is a lucky boy in several ways.

Balances out - the French 3 could have gone off for 10 minutes for that high tackle

He's still by far and away our best tight head.

Yes but he didn't overrun it until he was tackled.GeordieFalcon wrote:Scottrf wrote:Did though. Who cares anyway, this is an absolute demolition.Collapse2005 wrote:Scottrf wrote:@collapse, that happened after he was tackled, you can’t use the play after the offence to judge the penalty.

Ok we'll agree to disagree.

Wrong call there by TMO and Nigel. Obvious knock on... NOT off French hand....
Not to mention the foul holding the back the French players arm..
Not really going to make a difference though...

This is getting scrappier and scrappier now. A few silly moments creeping in around the rucks as players get frustrated.

For what it's worth, England's largest victory margin over France is 37 points (in 1911!).

Use both eyes. The holding back is more debatable, but with both players on the ground it isn't clear. The officials all saw it though

That TMO call was as bad as the one against Wales last year. There’s no excuse with the technology they have...when you can see it’s easily on a sky box..

No Robson again.
Shame Owens didn't have a look at the punch thrown at Farrell admittedly but again most decisions have been correct.

A good point here. I felt Wales were let down three times last year with incorrect TMO calls, and two already this year.

And that's definitely the important point to make on an England vs France thread.
