6N 2019: France v Scotland
First topic message reminder :
Saturday 23rd Feb 2019
Stade de France
KO 14:15
France
Scotland
After two opening losses for France and a home loss for Scotland, both teams are looking to get their tournament back on track. Expect a response or implosion from France at home but also expect the same from Scotland.
This could be interesting.

They've looked pretty good first half - much better organisedmiaow wrote:Personally, I'm expecting Scotland to win because France look deeply flawed.

Yeah we're not going to win this game. Nice chip and gather from the French prop centre though

Gonna have to chase the game now, that rarely works well for us

Now Bradbury has caught the malaise - he should have lined picamoles up but shat it instead

Dismal defence. Ponderous attack. France getting gifted this game.

Bradbury has been poor too - perhaps unsurprisingly doesn't look ready for this environment yet fitness wise

Was mainland. He was under the ball but was waiting for it to fall into his arms. No attempt to meet it.
Ironically it’s Grigg who has been the least poor of the backs today.

Ref telling the scrum half to use his foot to move the ball rather than hands: wasn't that rule changed to speed the game up?

France aren't committing any men to rucks just now - I think we need a few pick and goes to draw defenders in. Need to vary the game.

Dell and Berghan playing well in the loose. Not so much at the scrum. Gilchrist playing ok.

Maitland not finishing that neatly sums up Scotland's afternoon. Give the pass and Seymour scores in the corner.

This backline would be half decent without Huget and Bastareaud...

Fantastic defence. Keep this tight long enough and france will throw an intercept.
