Wow a tense, nervy finish to the frame and Higgins had chances as did Bingham but Bingham takes it and it will be 8-8 at the start of their final session tomorrow evening.

Just the start Wilson needed. He scores a frame winning break of 50+ to win the frame and trails Barry Hawkins 6-3.

Today is the day of comebacks.
Higgins trailed 4-1 and now has parity. Dinbg trailed 5-1 and leads 9-7. Zhou led 5-1 but could soon find himself at 5-5 V Carter and Hawkins led 6-1 but Wilson looks like making it 6-4.

For me The Hawk just needs to share this mini-session and he'll feel very comfortable tomorrow.

Kyren Wilson badly needed to win frame 13 and he feeds off a Hawkins miss to win the frame with a century break. Hawkins leads 8-5.

Fabulous steal from Ali Carter and he goes into a 7-6 lead. Great pressure clearance. A kick deprives Wilson of the frame and Hawkins stretches his lead to 9-5.

Zhou has lost two frames on the bounce he should have won. A real test of his temperament.

Kyren Wilson hanging in there. A great century break sees him take the frame and he trails 9-6. If he can win the last frame he will be right back in this match.

And Wilson capitalises on a sloppy Hawkins safety shot and he takes the final frame of the session. He's right back in this and only trailing 9-7.

Have to say, that draw is opening up more and more for Robbo.

Well there is no doubting he has been the form player of the tournament so far. In his half of the draw I'd say his biggest threats left in there may be Barry Hawkins and John Higgins. In the other half of the draw I'd saw you'd have to favour the winner of the Trump V Ding match to reach the Final.

Kyren Wilson takes the first frame of the session in a frame which both players had chances. Hawkins leads 9-8.

Ali Carter needed that frame as he was getting frustrated. He takes it to trail Zhou 9-8. On the other table Wilson's looking strong to level it up at 9-9 but The Hawk has a chance to steal. This would be a big frame for him to pull out of the fire.

Wilson in and misses a straight-forward brown and Hawkins stops the rot and takes the frame and leads again at 10-9.

Carter looks set, after a protracted safety bout, to have the 18th frame at his mercy. Looks good to make it 9-9 against Zhou.

Craig,
I saw a few comments yesterday on social media to Carter's reaction to Zhou's pink (where he goes up and down twice to land flush on the black) and Carter was getting alot of stick for laughing and shaking his head, and people saying he's not a nice player to be around.
Personally, i've always found him to be a good personality around the table. You aware of anything different.

Very nervy from both Hawkins and Wilson but Wilson steels himself and gets the frame to go level again at 10-10. Zhou beginning to buckle under the pressure and is just missing too much when in. Carter now in and favourite to go 10-9 up.

No I don't get that. He's animated and shows his feelings more than a lot of players but he comes across as a pleasant enough bloke. Competitive but fair.

Kyren Wilson just beginning to look like a man who believes more than The Hawk. Nailing more long pots and just looking the more settled. He is on a sizeable break and looks hot favourite to take the lead in the match for the first time at 11-10.

Carter a frame away from the quarters. He leads 12-9. Zhou just not scoring heavily enough when in and looks to be feeling the pressure. Meanwhile, superb clearance of 79 by Kyren Wilson to level it up at 11-11.

Ali Carter at the table and building a big lead. The QF's are close you feel. Kyren Wilson punishing a slack break off and is on his way to a great one visit break to take the lead in this match for the first at 12-11. And he seals it with a clearance of 125.

Superb last three frames from Kyren Wilson with breaks of 79, 125 and 132 sees him beat Barry Hawkins 13-11. Great win. He showed great bottle and just that bit more quality when it mattered. No wonder he is called The Warrior.

Re: 2019 World Snooker Championship Thread
Wilson runs out a 13-11 winner against Hawkins. Fantastic win for him, having been 1-6 down yesterday and faced with Hawkins playing snooker which was quite frankly scary.
Nine centuries in the match which, I believe, sets a new record at the Crucible, breaking the old record of eight in the Hendry-O'Sullivan semi-final in 1999 and the O'Sullivan-Hawkins final in 2013. Even more remarkable considering this was a best of twenty-five match rather than a best of thirty-three / five.

Appears I've made a mistake - there were actually ten centuries in the Ding-McManus semi-final three years ago. Nevertheless, great match that Wilson has come through there.
