*Jackson Jackson kicks off the show to celebrate his title victory at Day of Reckoning. Jackson says he’s happy to keep proving the odds wrong and he will do so again tonight in the main event against Crime Lord. Marty Helms interrupts and wants a one on one shot at the title, mocking Jackson for his “fluke” victory, but Jackson says Helms is at the back of the line now. Helms assures Jackson that he will do whatever it takes to get another opportunity. Crime Lord then intervenes and says he’s more than happy for Helms and Jackson to fight one another again but it’ll be a non-title match because tonight he’s leaving with the 6CW Championship. Crime Lord and Helms stare one another before Helms leaves the stage. Crime Lord lets Jackson know that the clock on his title reign is ticking to a standstill but Jackson just tells him to bring it on.

*Backstage and Liam Wood is talking with Fleur Michaels. Wood talks about his soul-searching and that he did a lot of wrong things to a lot of people but he believes he’s finding himself once again. He says getting even with Varyag and drawing a line under that is the key to the next stage of his recovery. Wood leaves the interview area and is confronted by Robin Reborn, Drake and Ojore. Reborn merely smirks at Wood as the Viper heads in the opposite direction.

*Dante Phoenix is shown arriving at the arena and he is met by security. They want to escort him straight to Miss Jessica’s office

Bout 1
Liam Wood vs Varyag

*Varyag enters first and he looks amused when Wood fails to show. After a few minutes Wood bursts through the curtain. They stare-down before Wood runs across the walkway and dives over the top rope with a huge lariat-esque takedown

*Wood can’t get his power moves going because of Varyag’s size so he targets his legs with kicks and running chopblocks in order to cut the big man down. Wood then goes high and attempts a flying axe handle but Varyag catches him around the throat and then nails a huge chokeslam for a two

*Varyag taunts Wood and easily presses him into the air before throwing him over the ropes to the concrete floor. He man handles Wood at ringside, launching him against the ringside barriers and steel steps. He repeatedly smashes Wood’s head against the announce tables and then launches him back into the ring.

*The referee tries to get Wood to agree to call the match off but he refuses. Varyag nails him with repeated headbutts before connecting with a fall-away slam that throws Wood against the turnbuckle. Varyag laughs at Wood’s inability to hurt him and locks in a full nelson

*Wood is in the hold for minute and looks ready to pass out but then, on the referee’s blindside, manages to land a low blow by launching his heel back between Varyag’s legs. Wood runs the ropes and returns with a high knee before superkicking Varyag’s knees out from under him and nails a double armed DDT from that position for a two count

*Wood heads up high and nails a missile dropkick but Varyag merely wobbles from the impact and doesn’t fall down. Wood then runs the ropes and returns with a huge yakuza kick that gets the big man down for a two

*Wood drags Varyag up for the “Manson Driver” but Varyag counters out with a backdrop. He then runs the ropes

JT: Wood looking in trouble here….

HE: VOYNA GOSPODIN!

Varyag charges off the ropes and returns for the big lariat but Wood somehow manages to duck under and pushes his opponent off of his feet before detonating his knee on the chin…

JR: WORLD EATER…

JT: He didn’t quite catch it clean…

Varyag stumbles from the blow but only sways instead of falling. Wood gets back up and he delivers a sharp kick to his opponent’s gut…

JR: MANSON DRIVER….ALL OF IT!

Varyag is planted into the canvass but Wood doesn’t seem satisfied. There is a dark calm over Wood as his chest heaves in and out, the camera focusing in on his face…

JT: Wood wants to exorcise all demons here tonight…

JR: He attributes his issues with Varyag to all the badness that has happened to him over the last few years…

JT: From losing Emmy to becoming a stooge of Edward Plague to hitting the roughest streak of his career…

HE: He can’t blame all of that on Varyag, it’s on him…

JT: I’m sure Wood accepts his part in all of those things….I’m merely saying that this feud has brought all of that to light….I believe that he thinks if he can overcome Varyag then he sets himself on a new path…

JR: And he’s looking to put an exclamation point on things now……PSYCHO CRUSHER!

Wood backs up into the corner and he lifts himself onto the second rope. He points down at Varyag and wills him to get up. The big man is clearly hurt badly but slowly he starts to rise and Wood then leaps off and crushes his skull into the mat again with the foot stomp. The referee is readying to make the count but Wood shakes his head…

JT: Varyag made this personal….not only did he turn on Wood but he questioned his manhood, he mocked his failings….

JR: And now Wood wants him to pay….VIPER LOCKED!

Wood kneels over the crumpled body of his former ally and then succeeds in hooking under his giant arms. He synches in a full nelson/camel clutch variation, really bending Varyag’s head back…

JT: Wood is looking to snap Varyag in two here….

JR: And this the ultimate revenge….he’s beaten Varyag so badly here that he’s going to make him quit….

JT: And that’s exactly what he’s doing….you’ve gone quiet on us, Henry?

HE: This proves nothing…

JR: It proves that Liam Wood is better than Varyag and that this chapter is closed…..fresh beginnings are afoot…

Varyag taps his huge hand and screams that he gives up as Wood continues to tear back on his head. The referee calls for the bell to end proceedings as Wood refuses to release…

JT: Wood is unleashing months of frustration here…

HE: The match is over….that’s a complete lack of respect, the referee should reverse this decision…

The referee pleads with Wood to release the hold and after ten more seconds he finally relents, leaving Varyag in a heap on the deck. “Revival Mode” booms through the speakers as the official raises Wood’s arm in victory…

JR: Vindication tonight here for Liam Wood….he has overcome and shut the door on the worst run of his career…

JT: It’s been a serious journey of soul-searching but Liam Wood has found himself once again….we don’t know exactly what that means in relation to his future but any version of Wood that is confident in his abilities is a serious threat to anyone and everyone on the 6CW roster…

JR: Varyag may be regretting that he lit this fire under Wood because ultimately he has paid the price for that here this evening….he has not only been beaten but he has been humbled….

Wood looks down on Varyag for a few more moments but then shakes his head and allows the referee to raise his arm again. Wood climbs onto the turnbuckle, self-preserving the moment, and then he makes his exit. Wood reaches the top of the walkway and he looks to the sky before letting out a sigh of relief. He nods his head before exiting into the backstage area.

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:11 pm

*Dicey Reilly is interviewed by Travis Sharp. Dicey talks about being in the Road to Royalty tournament and how being crowned King of 6CW would be one of the few accolades left for him to accomplish. He says he knows people are writing him off because of his age but he knows he still has what it takes. He points to the recent success of Perfect Jack as a beacon for the old guard and what they are still capable of. Dicey warns his opponents not to sleep on him.

*Jimmy Phillips is shown watching Dicey’s interview on a monitor and then he breaks into a monologue about how he’s sick and tired of being denied opportunities because of these “has-beens” and “never wheres”. He says that he’s going to send Dicey Reilly into retirement tonight and put some respect back on his own name. Phillips vows to clear the deadwood and the old boy’s brigade.

*Dante Phoenix arrives at Miss Jessica’s office and she turns on the charm offensive. Promises Phoenix the world, says at the click of her fingers he can have anything and everything he’s always wanted. She flirts with him but Phoenix puts her in her place and says she can’t manipulate him into handing over the file from Cherry Falls. Jessica’s mood sours and she threatens Phoenix, saying she can make his life a living hell. Phoenix says there is nothing that she can do that is worse than he’s already been through but she says she likes the challenge. Phoenix says if he is to have success in 6CW he’ll earn it like everyone else but Jessica tells him he’ll regret disobeying her. Phoenix takes his turn to threaten and says he’ll release the documents he has but Jessica warns him that this is a war he does not want to start

Bout 2
Road to Royalty
Dicey Reilly vs Jimmy Phillips

*The match starts with Dicey offering a handshake to Phillips but it’s slapped away by “The Talent”. Phillips shoves Dicey back and looks for a quick “Game-Changer” but Dicey ducks it and rattles off a five punch combination before whipping JP to the corner. He follows in with a big clothesline and then climbs up onto the turnbuckle to deliver a ten punch salvo

*Dicey reaches eight when Phillips walks him from the corner and nails a crushing slam. They get back up and Phillips hits a fall nelson slam for a two count. Phillips trash talks Dicey and drags him up for a “Touchdown” but Dicey elbows his way free and then nails a running boot to the face for a near fall

*Dicey drags Phillips up for a brainbuster but Phillips floats over the back and shoves Reilly off the ropes before nailing a huge spinebuster on the return. He pulls Dicey up and demonstrates his power with an immense stalled suplex for a two count

*Phillips launches Dicey into the corner and goes to work with shoulder thrusts to the gut before lifting him onto the top rope. Phillips sets up for the muscle buster but Dicey battles off the back and dodges a right hand before countering with a swinging neckbreaker. Dicey takes to the skies and scores with a flying clothesline before welcoming Phillips back up and drills him with a huge DDT that dumps Phillips right on the crown of his head. Dicey hooks both legs for certainty but Phillips kicks out.

*Dicey waits for Phillips to stand and prepares for the “Craicdown” but Phillips counters with a backdrop and then quickly sprints off the ropes before returning with a spear as Dicey rises. Phillips lifts Dicey into his arms and climbs onto the second rope before nailing a massive fall away slam but once again he only manages a two count

*Phillips gets into an argument with the referee but is assured that the count was legitimate. Phillips drags Dicey up and whips him off the ropes for a pop-up powerbomb but Dicey leaps over the back and then nails a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Phillips crawls to the corner for safety but Dicey lines him up and runs in for the “Hangover Cure” knee, only for JP to roll away at the final minute. Dicey sprints back out centre but Phillips connects with the pop-up powerbomb. Dicey somehow kicks out again
HE: This is a sham…Jimmy Phillips should have won this match….

JT: He’s finding out first hand what so many others before him have and that is that Dicey Reilly is one tough son of a gun…

JR: Phillips has literally emptied the kitchen sink here….not many would have been able to stand up to this onslaught….

Phillips takes some deep breaths, trying to keep his anger down, and then he waits for Dicey to get up in the corner and crushes him with a running clothesline. He turns to the side and drives his elbow into Reilly’s jaw for good measure and then lifts his foe up onto the turnbuckle again….

JT: Muscle-buster #2….

JR: Didn’t work so well last time…

HE: This’ll end it….

Phillips looks determined as he walks from the corner and then runs toward the centre for the “muscle buster” but Dicey manages to slip off the side once again and shoulders Phillips in the back, sending him off the ropes…

JT: Solid boot to the stomach…..CRAICDOWN!

Dicey prepares for the cradled piledriver but Phillips succeeds in swiping his legs and then catapults Dicey to the corner. Reilly’s head nails the turnbuckle pad and he staggers back…

HE: GAME-OVER!

Phillips takes his chance to synch in the coquina clutch and Dicey flails as he desperately tries to keep himself free. JP uses all of his power to begin dragging Dicey toward the canvass but he makes the mistake of lifting one of his feet off the floor and it allows Dicey to pull forward and go down on one knee, launching Phillips over his shoulder in order to break his grip…

JR: Dicey Reilly avoided certain defeat there……he was close to going lights out….

JT: He still has it all to do….

Phillips rolls over and into the corner before turning around. Dicey is rubbing his throat as he gets back up and Phillips quickly sprints at him…

HE: GAME-CHANGER!

The clothesline is a whisker away from landing but Dicey just manages to duck under the impact and then he boots Phillips in the gut….

JR: CRAICDOWN….GOT ALL OF IT!

JT: Ball game…

1.
..
…..2
..
..
………………3!

JR: Dicey Reilly does it…..he advances to the quarter finals of the Road to Royalty tournament…..

JT: And what a battle he had to prevail from but prevail he has…..

HE: Jimmy Phillips should be the one with his arm raised in victory here….what more did he have to do…

JR: Phillips wrestled one hell of a bout, he looked immense in there at times tonight, but Dicey Reilly was able to withstand everything he could come up with…..Dicey once again proving why he is one of the greatest of all time…

JT: Dicey Reilly rolled back the years here tonight and he’ll take some stopping in this competition……could another 6CW Championship reign be on the horizon?

JR: After that performance I wouldn’t rule it out…..Dicey Reilly has done it all here in 6CW, he’s won everything there is to win…..but he’s never been called King of 6CW, is now the time?

HE: No way does he get to the final…..he won one match, don’t get carried….

JT: Dicey Reilly didn’t return just to be another name on this roster….he believes he has one last big run in him….don’t sleep on his chances…

The referee raises Dicey’s arm in victory and he celebrates the win as “Born to fight” booms through the airwaves. Jimmy Phillips has rolled from the ring and is looking angry as he stalks toward the backstage area.

JT: Dicey Reilly is our first quarter finalist but who else will be joining him in the next round?

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:13 pm

*Perfect Jack is shown in his locker-room and he’s talking with someone but we can’t see from behind the lens. The screen pans around and we see Clarke James sat with his former partner. Jack is trying to talk James into coming back but CJ says this is just a flying visit and that his professional wrestling chapter is closed. Clarke wishes Jack luck in his match tonight and then gets up to leave. Marshall Murdoch enters the room from the opposite door just as Clarke is leaving. Murdoch asks PJ if that was CJ and then looks a little put out when he finds out it was
*Mike Hill and Ricky Nelson are interviewed by Christy James. Nelson chooses not to answer the questions about leaving Angelo Trust to be decimated by Robin Reborn’s new faction. Mike Hill steers the conversation back toward Nelson proving himself in 6CW, starting by overcoming Marshall Murdoch. Mike Hill says he took the world by storm when he first joined 6WF and that is exactly what Nelson is going to do when he wins the Road to Royalty tournament

*Marty Helms is in Miss Jessica’s office and he is demanding another shot at the 6CW Championship. Jessica is tired of hearing Helms complain and says that if he wins the Road to Royalty Tournament he has a guaranteed title shot so he should concentrate on that and leave her alone. Helms isn’t appeased though and believes he should automatically have a title shot at the winner of tonight’s main event, goes on about how Jackson stole the win from him at Day of Reckoning. A lightbulb seems to come on in Miss Jessica’s head as she asks Helms what he’d do to get his shot. Helms says anything and Jessica looks gleeful

Bout 3
Road to Royalty
Marshall Murdoch vs Ricky Nelson

*Nelson enters accompanied by Mike Hill whilst Marshall Murdoch enters alone. Hill and Murdoch exchange words which allows Nelson to sprint into the corner with a flying dropkick on the blindside.

*Nelson drags Murdoch into a snap suplex and then attempts a lionsault but Marshall gets his knees up. They both get to their feet and Murdoch hits a sidewalk slam for a two count. Marshall beckons Nelson up and attempts a codebreaker but Nelson lets the bottom drop out before bridging over the top for a nearfall

*Nelson ducks a right hand and springboards onto the ropes but leaps straight back into a t-bone suplex. Marshall then scores with a hat-trick of “American” suplexes for another two count

*Marshall sets up for a coquina clutch but Hill begins to distract the referee. Murdoch launches Nelson aside and confronts Hill but that allows Nelson to recover and he hits a springboard dropkick that sends Marshall through the ropes to the outside. Nelson then connects with an incredible Asai Inverted DDT on the hard flooring

*Nelson dumps Marshall back in the ring and then goes up top. He looks for the “New Next Big Move” but Marshall moves and sends his opponent crashing into the canvass. Marshall hits a “Texas Slam” but Hill puts Nelson’s foot on the ropes

*Marshall struggles to contain his anger with Hill but keeps his concentration. Murdoch attempts the “Drive By” knee but runs straight into a discus elbow and then a standing hurricanrana. He staggers back up and Nelson nails a step-up enzeguiri to the temple before connecting with the lionsault for a nearfall

*Nelson goes out onto the apron and then looks for a springboard forearm but Marshall avoids and then hits a rolling “chaos theory” German suplex. He ushers Nelson up and nails a codebreaker before applying an anklelock. Nelson is screaming in agony and tries to crawl for the ropes but Marshall drags him back on three separate occasions. Nelson finally taps, unable to take the pain, but Hill has distracted the referee once again

JT: This is getting completely out of hand now…

JR: Is that three times Nelson should have lost this match?

HE: Mike Hill is just giving the referee some advice…

JT: You know damn well what he’s doing…

Hill is refusing to get down off the apron and then Marshall realises what is happening, releasing the hold on Nelson, and makes his way over….

JT: Mike Hill has gone too far now…

JR: Marshall Murdoch should be getting used to interfering managers by now…

JT: Hill is going to learn in the same way Charles Kramer did…

Hill tries to duck down but Marshall gets hold of his top and then launches him over the ropes into the ring. Hill gets back up and Marshall prepares to attack but the referee gets in between…

HE: The referee doing the right thing….Mike Hill isn’t an active competitor…

JT: That hasn’t stopped him getting involved tonight….if you ask me he deserves an a55 kicking…

Murdoch is desperate to get at Hill but the official remains in front of him and that allows Hill to squirm backward toward the corner. The referee ushers Marshall to the opposite side of the ring and then makes his way over to order Hill from the ring…

JR: The referee is being extremely lenient here….

JT: OH CMON!

Whilst the referee’s back is turned Marshall grabs Nelson by the head but then receives a brutal low-blow. Nelson stumbles up…

HE: RAPID FIRE…..YES, GOT HIM….RICKY NELSON IS GOING TO THE QUARTER FINALS!

Nelson scores with the “Cross-Rhodes” and a gleeful smile crosses his face as he hooks both legs. Mike Hill screams at the referee to turn around and then he punches the air as the count begins…

JT: This is a damn robbery…

1.
..
…..2
..
………..3!

JR: MARSHALL KICKED OUT!

JT: NOT LOOKING SO SMUG NOW, HILL!

Mike Hill’s face is a picture of dismay as Marshall Murdoch’s shoulder comes off the canvass before the completion of the count. Ricky Nelson is rolling on the canvass, bawling and complaining, but his arguments fall on deaf ears with the referee…

HE: That is a terrible call…

JT: It’s an amazing call….Nelson and Hill thought they screwed Murdoch here and booked their spot in the next round of Road to Royalty but it wasn’t to be….Marshall Murdoch proving again that he’s one tough son of a gun…

Hill regains some form of composure and he bangs his hand on the canvass before yelling some instructions to his protégé. Nelson takes some deep breaths and then he drags Marshall up and hits him with a quick scooped slam. He makes his way to the corner and climbs up high….

JR: Marshall is still down here, however, and you can’t deny Nelson is in the driver’s seat…

HE: Moments away from the biggest win of his young career….NEW NEXT BIG MOVE!

Nelson takes to the skies once more and launches himself into the corkscrew senton bomb but Murdoch has his knees ready and drives them up into Nelson’s spine, sending him rolling away in agony. Marshall gets back up….

JT: HUGE RIGHT HAND!

JR: Nothing more than he deserves…

Marshall sets forward toward Nelson but then suddenly twirls on his heel, anticipating Mike Hill’s movements, and he punches his opponent’s manager off the ring apron. Nelson is still holding his back as he gets to his feet….

JT: MARSHALL LAW….FORGET IT!

The crunching spinning roundhouse kick lands right on the button, flattening Nelson upon impact, and Marshall makes a nonchalant cover….

1.
….
..
……2
..
..
……………3!

JR: It’s all over….Marshall Murdoch has taken out version one and version two of Mike Hill here tonight…

JT: Hill and his young upstart Ricky Nelson gave Murdoch a headache here this evening but ultimately they have come out on the wrong side of the result…..Murdoch gets the win and books his spot alongside Dicey Reilly in the Quarter Finals of the Road to Royalty tournament….

HE: This is a travesty….

JR: Nelson acquitted himself well, despite the constant interference of his manager, and we continue to see glimpses of a bright future….but Murdoch is rolling right now and I’m not sure anything can stop him from sitting on that throne at the end of this tournament and booking his shot at the world title….

JT: Now he can concentrate on getting the money he is owed from the Kramer Klan…

“Papercut” is booming through the speakers as the referee declares Marshall Murdoch the winner and raises his arm in victory. Marshall looks down at Nelson, shaking his head, before fixing his focus on Mike Hill, who is recovering on the outside…

HE: You won the match, isn’t that enough? Leave him alone…

JT: Doesn’t look like Marshall Murdoch is quite finished here yet….seems Mike Hill still has some payback coming his way…

Hill is holding his jaw, wincing, as Marshall grabs him by the shoulder and throws him into the ring. Murdoch rolls in and he smirks as Hill gets up before laying him out, side by side with Nelson, with another big time roundhouse kick.

JR: The statements keep coming from Marshall Murdoch….he is a man on the mission and he’s taking no prisoners…

*Marshall Murdoch is approached by Fleur Michaels following his match and says that winning the Road to Royalty is now his goal as it guarantees him the one thing he is so desperate for and that is the 6CW Championship. Murdoch doesn’t care who he has to beat in order to get there. Fleur asks if Marshall has received his money from Charles Kramer yet and Murdoch says he hasn’t but today is collection day so either Kramer finds him or he’ll find them

*Jimmy Phillips is smashing apart the backstage area following a loss to Dicey Reilly. Phillips says enough is enough now. Says his career is being curtailed and stagnated by the old-timers that are bleeding the place dry in order to feed their own egos. Says if this company won’t respect his “Talent” then he’ll make them by destroying every so-called legend that ever stepped foot through them doors

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:16 pm

JT: It’s another historic night in 6CW, the industry reeling in the aftermath of our Day of Reckoning

JR: It was certainly as promised for some, brutality and intrigue the story of the night. And now we head to Scars and Stripes, with Jackson Jackson hoping he can hold onto his title until then.

HE: And we have the beginning of our Road to Royalty tour—-

*Henry is cut off by the lights cutting, three beams piercing upwards from the stage and smoke pouring in.

Ultralight Beam by Kanye West and Chance the Rapper starts to play.

JT: Enchanting...

*As it talks of Ultralight beams, out into the middle one walks Robin Reborn. He wears a white suit, white shirt and white tie. Ojore and Drake come to stand either side of him.

They stand, a trio, Reborn at the front and the brutes behind him, standing in the middle of the smoke that billows around them

JT: Here stands Robin Reborn and his army, so it seems. He’s the talker; he seems to be the leader.

JR: Former world champ, former tag team champ, a luminary of EWF and 6CW.

HE: And a changed man, by the looks of things.

*Gone is the pink, the brash bright colours that used to adorn him. Now he dresses all in white, his soldiers contrasting in pure black. They walk confidently down to the ring together and the two men stand on the outside, one either side of the ring, as Reborn slides in and grabs a microphone.

He smiles before he speaks

RR: You gon talk about me now, huh? The new Robin Reborn, that’s what I hear. Twitter mentions, all your little columns. Fill em up with who I be now.

But I ain’t really changed though. I was always loud, always talking. But now I talk with actions too. No more clap happy little black man performing tricks.

You think I really always Mr Nice Guy? You talking out here, 6CW, forgetting my name. Forget to put respect on my name. But now the streets won’t forget Robin Reborn and the Wolf Gang.

*He looks over to Drake

RR: This right here, he an original. He owned yo asses in the day. And he a monster. I talked, he listened, he came back with my attitude.

*He turns to Ojore

RR: Same with my brother over here. Ojore don’t talk enough, that’s what they always say. Can’t put him in the title scene if he can’t hold a mic. Now I hold his mic, he hold your necks. The most vicious champion we ever seen, taking names and making em Xtreme.

*He turns back to look down the lens

RR: And me. Disrespected, disregarded, and disgusted. The man who won the Gateway to Glory from bell to bell. The man who toppled Joshua. Ended Joshua. He couldn’t be beaten; until he was. And then he never looked the same.

You think that man was always gonna sit back and wait for this industry to catch up? Nah, nah, nah.

*He looks around the empty arena then fixes his eye on the commentary desk

RR: Come on, boys. Who were you talking about when that kid won the world title? Did you mention me in the lineage? Hell no, you don’t talk s*** for the real black experience. Pay a little homage to JJ and his bulls***, but otherwise it’s all the other nonsense. You lucky I don’t see these two on you, just like I did Scott Harris.

*He laughs

RR: Yeah, we beamed him up real good. Scotty wanted it too much, but he didn’t recognise what he was. Daddy’s little boy is exactly who we need to finish, all the little hand out taking, excuses for wrestlers. The silver spoons, the chosen ones, and the relics living on past glories they can’t touch.

*He spreads his arms and gestures to the empty seats

RR: Look around, there’s no crowds to sway now. This place can finally run how it should do, like a motherf***ing jungle. The strong prey on the weak, and that’s what we started. Day of Reckoning hasn’t been and gone, we brought it and we keep bringing it. Trust is dead, Robin is Reborn, the Wolf Gang is about to run this joint.

You’re looking at the odd future of this business. Like I was before, I am again. No lying, no Lion, just brutes and the beasts.

*He walks to the corner and stands atop he turnbuckle

RR: I am a higher power, sent by the power of the great.

I don't believe in science, I believe in signs. Don't believe in signing, I seen dollar signs, colour white collar crime. Good God, the gift of freedom, praise be he that invoked and woke up slaves from Southampton to Chatham Manor.

Hear, for I will speak noble things as entrusted me: exalt, exalt, glorify, descend upon this earth with swords, and fortify the borders where your shortage lie

*He looks upwards and holds a pause

RR: I used to hide from God, ducked down in the slums like "shhh"

*He drops the mic. Sandwitches by Tyler the Creator starts to play, the opening lines allowed to play until the repeated Wolf Gang phrase is uttered, Reborn rolling out of the ring and being followed by Ojore and Drake.

JR: A strong message from an angry man...

JT: You can take issue with his actions, maybe even his tone, but a lot of what he says holds true. He did end Joshua’s dominance, he did end Night of Glory as the world champion, and he did get forgotten by this company

HE: Not all of us...

JR: Not any of us, Henry. Robin Reborn was and is a big part of the new generation’s story in 6CW. And there will be a lot of men back there with a different attitude now to a man they once knew.

*Uryu Ishida is interviewed by Christy James and says although he is disappointed not to have become 6CW Champion at Day of Reckoning he is still the United Kingdom Champion and promises to be a fighting champ. He says his feud with James McManus has been long-running but tonight they end it.

Bout 4
6CW UK Championship
Uryu Ishida © vs James McManus

Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentleman, the following match is scheduled for ONE FALL and is for the 6CW UNITED KINGDO CHAMPIONSHIP!

Introducing first, the challenger...he hails from Norwich, England and weighs in at 220lbs...JAMES MCMANUS!

"Where's My Wonderland" hits and the camera pans to show James McManus stood atop the stage in a hooded jacket. He then storms down the ramp and slides under the bottom rope into the ring, he gets up to his feet and bounces up and down on the spot impatiently waiting for the arrival of his opponent.

JT: A rematch from the previous edition of Proving Grounds, which in fact saw the UK Title change hands from McManus to his opponent tonight.

JR: And of course their fates remained intertwined at Day Of Reckoning as they were both involved in that incredible match for the 6CW World Champion where Jackson Jackson ultimately emerged victorious...somehow.

HL: In my mind, McManus made a serious error of judgement in that match when he put the final nail in the coffin of his alliance with Marty Helms when he essentially put him through a table - Helms is not a guy I would want chasing after me for revenge.

JT: You will notice Jenny McManus is conspicuous by her absence this evening and that may well have been the first act of revenge for Helms, even if it was unintentional. He ducked a chair shot from McManus that ultimately took out his own wife.

Ring Announcer: And now, from Nottingham, England and weighing in at 204lbs, he is the REIGNING and DEFENDING 6CW UNITED KINGDOM CHAMPION...URYU ISHIDAAAAAA!

"Hold On Tight To Your Dream" roars out through the arena and Uryu walks confidently out onto the stage with the 6CW UK Title strapped tightly around his waist. He walks slowly to the ring glaring at McManus who stares back intensely. Uryu climbs into the ring, removes the belt and holds it high above his head before passing it over to the ref.

JR: Uryu came close on several occassions at Day Of Reckoning to becoming a double champion, but ultimately it was his move that enabled Jackson Jackson to retain.

HL: That's why he will never win that big title Jack, he wasn't thinking straight and that cost him. He doesn't have that killer instinct, he even needed the help of Helms to win this battle.

Ding, Ding, Ding!

The bell rings to kick the match off, Ishida goes in for the lock-up but McManus ducks underneath it. He then fires in punches at Ishida, backing him into the corner. McManus hits a number of hard punches to Ishida in the corner, before hitting kicks up into the stomach. Ishida finally is able to push McManus away, but McManus then comes back in with even more strikes, before throwing Ishida across the ring hard into the turnbuckle, before quickly following into Ishida with a running facewash kick. He drags Ishida forward and covers.

Ref: 1..................2......Kick out!

McManus then hits some hard stomps to the head of Ishida, trying to wear down Ishida as early as possible, before running across the ring, and on his return hitting a jumping knee drop across the head of Ishida. Ishida quickly begins to pull himself up to his feet, but McManus quickly then starts hitting some hard chops to the chest of Ishida, before again hitting some hard punches to the head of Ishida, then pushing him into the ropes.

McManus then whips Ishida across the ring, and on Ishida’s return, McManus hits him with a snap powerslam. Ishida rolls to his feet, throwing a groggy clothesline which McManus easily ducks and then backslides Ishida into a pinfall predicament.

Ref: 1..................2.......Kick out!

JT: James McManus has started off very quickly here, seemingly very fired up by what happened at Day Of Reckoning.

HL: Uryu has found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time on too many occassions now for McManus' liking and he is being punished for it.

Ishida powers the shoulder up. McManus goes straight back onto the offensive with a series of hard knee drops down into the face. McManus then steps back, allowing Uryu to rise before kicking him in the gut, McManus then slams Uryu down by the head. Uryu stirs, McManus runs in and nails a knee trembler to the head. He makes the cover.

Ref: 1................2.............Kick out!

Uryu drives the shoulder up off the mat. McManus lifts him to his feet, hitting a series of right hands, before slinging him over his shoulders. He goes for a conventional powerslam on this occassion but Ishida drops down the back. He then rolls McManus up into a pin.

Ref: 1.................2..........Kick out!

The pair rise to their feet simultaneously. Ishida blocks a right hand from McManus before taking him down to the canvas with a clothesline. McManus stirs to his feet, Ishida runs off the ropes and knocks him down with a leaping forearm smash. McManus stumbles to his feet and Ishida nails a swinging neckbreaker. Cover.

Ref: 1.................2.............Kick out!

Uryu allows James McManus up to his feet before going for a kick to the gut. McManus blocks it only for Uryu to crack him in the side of the head with an enzaguri kick. James McManus falls down to one knee, Uryu runs the ropes and connects with a running knee to the back of the head. He covers.

Ref: 1.......................2...............Kick out!

JT: Uryu was being dominated early on by McManus' technical proficiency but is now looking to use his speedy offence to get back into this.

JR: That's the advantage speed gives you Jeff, Uryu is able to build up momentum very quickly through a flurry of offence rather than McManus more methodical, grinding style.

Uryu gets up to his feet, waiting for McManus to rise. He then hits him with a dropkick to the knee, he follows this with a dropkick to the face before bouncing off the ropes as McManus sits up and dropkicking him in the back of the head.

Ref: 1………………...2………….……….Kick out!

McManus kicks out, Ishida lifts him to his feet and then into the air, before hitting a face-first suplex. Ishida waits for McManus to sit up, before bouncing off the ropes and hitting a snap DDT. Uryu covers.

Ref: 1.....................2............Kick out!

Uryu gets to his feet and drops a couple of elbows down into the chest. McManus then gets up to his feet, Uryu throws him into the ropes and connects with a hip toss on the rebound. McManus rolls up and Uryu hits a high-angled dropkick. He then drives a knee into the gut when McManus gets up, before bouncing off the ropes and connecting with a one-handed bulldog. He hooks the leg.

Ref: 1..........................2.................Kick out!

Ishida attacks the back of McManus with a series of forearm smashes. He then drags up McManus, setting up for a German suplex. McManus manages to transition his way out of the hold, he then grabs Ishida by the waist and nails a German suplex of his own bridging over into the pin attempt.

HL: There's the technical wizardry of McManus.

Ref: 1..................2...............Kick out!

James McManus gets to his feet, and immediately goes up to the top rope. He waits for Uryu to rise, before diving off and connecting with a high-angled crossbody block. Uryu rolls up, and McManus hits a scoop slam. Ishida rolls to his feet, McManus boots him in the stomach and hits a lifting DDT.

Ref: 1....................2..............Kick out!

McManus hauls up Uryu, he then Irish whips him into the corner. McManus runs to the opposite corner, bouncing off the ropes before sprinting in and nailing a stinger splash. Ishida stumbles forward, McManus hits a bridging Gutwrench suplex.

Ref: 1..................2...............Kick out!

McManus locks in an armbar on Uryu. he drags him to his feet, before pulling the arm down into an armbreaker. McManus keeps the hold applied, dragging in McManus and flinging him down into the canvas with a snap suplex. Uryu stumbles up, McManus pops Uryu up into the air and attempts a short powerbomb but Ishida counters with a hurracanrana.

McManus stumbles up to his feet, he throws a wild punch that is easily ducked and Uryu nails a leaping knee to the face.

Ref: 1....................2................Kick out!

Uryu allows McManus up. He hits a scoop slam and then steps to the outside. James McManus rolls to his feet, Uryu springboards in off the top rope and connects with a big forearm smash. Cover.

Ref: 1............................2.................Kick out!

McManus kicks out. Uryu stands waiting for McManus to rise, he then sprints in and connects with The Realisation!

JT: Big Calf Kick, that could be it!

Ref: 1................................2.....................Kick out!

James McManus forces the shoulder up. Uryu drags him up and monkey flips McManus into the corner. Uryu sprints in and goes for a stinger splash but McManus catches him. He slings him over the shoulder and then runs to the middle of the ring to deliver the River Wensum Plunge. Cover.

Ref: 1................................2.........................Kick out!

Ishida just about kicks out in time. McManus drags up his old rival, he lifts him onto his shoulders for the Tombstone Piledriver...

JT: This could be it!

JR: Uryu drops down the back!

Uryu hits a pele kick to the back of the head and then rolls up McManus.

Ref: 1.......................2...................Kick out!

McManus gets the kick out. The duo get to their feet simultaneously and start slugging it out in the middle of the ring. McManus gets the advantage, backing Ishida into the ropes.

Uryu blocks a punch and fires back with some of his own. They end up back in the middle of the ring, McManus goes for a clothesline but Uryu ducks it. He nails McManus with the Realisation!

JR: Uryu going up top...

JT: SPLIT SECOND!

Ref: 1...............................................2........................................................3!

Ding, Ding, Ding!

JT: It's over! For the second time in two shows, Uryu defeats James McManus, this time to retain his 6CW UK Championship.

JR: What an incredible contest between these two men, especially considering coming back into this match-up after all that they went through to Day Of Reckoning.

HL: I'm really not sure how Uryu managed to win that one, McManus was dominant for the majority of that contest but somehow Uryu managed to sneak another victory.

JT: At this point, you have to say that Uryu has the wood over McManus, he's been a constant thorn in his side.

Uryu stumbles to his feet and uses the ropes to keep himself upright as the referee hands him the UK Championship. Uryu holds the belt in his hands and nods his head...

JR: Back to the drawing board for McManus....big performance but it wasn't enough and you have to wonder if the condition of his wife has been playing on his mind...

JT: I'd imagine so....Uryu has put this rivalry to bed once and for all it would seem and now the UK Champion can look forward....Hold on, now...

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:28 pm

JR: OH MY…

HE: Uryu is in big trouble now…

“Ultralight beam” echoes out of the speakers and Uryu turns to face the stage as Robin Reborn, Ojore and Drake stride out onto the stage. Reborn is grinning as he and his cohorts make their way to ringside…

JT: Uryu has just been through a hellacious title bout…

JR: I don’t think these guys give a damn about that….I’ve set their sights on a new target…

HE: The Wolf Pack are surrounding their prey….

Ojore and Drake both drop down off the walkway and head for opposite sides of the ring as Reborn remains on the walkway. Uryu is circling around, trying to keep an eye on all three of his unwanted visitors…

JR: We saw what these three men did to Angelo Trust and Scott Harris at Day of Reckoning….that is not something I want to see happen to Uryu here tonight….

HE: Then I guess you better close your eyes because I don’t think they came out here to congratulate him on his win….THOUGHT NOT!

Drake begins climbing over the ropes into the ring and Uryu throws caution to the wind as he leaps into the big man and begins unleashing with forearms and chops. Drake tries to cover up from the blows and then he just launches Ishida backward with a two handed push….

JT: DEAR LORD!

Ojore is waiting and he easily lifts Uryu into his arms before crushing him into the canvass with a huge “World’s Strongest” slam. Robin Reborn is continuing to smile at the destruction that has been caused by his allies…

JR: We said it at Day of Reckoning but I think it’s worth reiterating that these three men are a major cause for concern to anyone and everyone on the 6CW roster…

Reborn begins to remove his suit jacket and he hangs it on the corner post before beginning to climb the ropes to the top. Ojore and Drake back away from Uryu….

JT: Uryu had to give his all in order to beat James McManus….he never stood a chance with this attack after that…

HE: I don’t think he stood a chance anyway…..

JR: And now Robin Reborn is about to compound the beatdown…..WAIT JUST A MINUTE!

HE: I didn’t see this….

“Revival Mode” suddenly screams through the speakers and Robin Reborn freezes on the top rope as Liam Wood comes walking out onto the stage, holding a steel chair. Reborn’s surprise turns to a smirk as he hops down to stand in the middle of Ojore and Drake…

JT: Probably the last man you’d expect to be coming to anyone else’s aid but here Liam Wood stands…

JR: We saw he and Reborn trade verbals earlier but still….this is extremely out of character for the Eater of Worlds…

HE: Must have a deathwish to come out here knowing full well what the Wolf Gang are capable of…

JT: Liam Wood is certainly undergoing some kind of transformation right now and his actions are far from predictable….but I agree that had anyone told me that Uryu was going to have a guardian angel here tonight then Liam Wood would not have been on my list of candidates….

Reborn and Wood are locked on one another as Wood begins to march across the walkway. He reaches the ring and is about to climb inside when Reborn tips him a wink and then orders the Wolf Pack to follow him to the outside. Wood gets in and stands over Uryu as Reborn, Drake and Ojore take to the outside…

JR: Yet another surprise….I didn’t think I’d see these guys retreating….

JT: I don’t think they were expecting more than one target here tonight…

HE: Reborn is formulating a plan here, that’s all….Wood may have saved Uryu here tonight but he’s also just put a bull’s eye on his own back…..this is far from done…

JR: Well it doesn’t look like Wood is backing down….he’s ready to fight…

Ojore seems ready to get in and fight but Reborn shakes his head and motions for his partners to follow him up onto the walkway as Wood continues to hold the steel chair like a baseball bat. Uryu is trying to sit up, wincing in pain, as The Wolf Gang head toward the backstage area, once Reborn has retrieved his suit jacket…

JT: Liam Wood has prevented Uryu Ishida from a grim fate here tonight but you have to believe that the Wolf Gang will strike again…..this pack of animals are only just getting started here in 6CW…

Reborn shares one last staredown with Wood before he and the Wolf Gang disappear into the backstage area. Uryu is sat on the canvass as Wood extends a hand and helps him up. Ishida appears confused as Wood takes the UK Championship from the canvass and throws it into Ishida’s hands….

JR: Uryu looking highly suspicious here and you can hardly blame him….

JT: Wood’s track record speaks for itself and I’d be loathed to trust him either but he did just save Uryu here tonight…

HE: Uryu is going to need all the help he can get with Reborn and the Wolf Gang after him….

Uryu throws the UK Championship belt over his shoulder, his brow furrowed, and he stares at Wood in suspicious confusion. Wood returns the stare and then turns on his heel to leave the ring, leaving Uryu to contemplate what has just happened.

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:30 pm

*Charles Kramer arrives in KK’s dressing room with a briefcase full of money. KK is surprised his uncle is going to pay up given the circumstances of the defeat but Charles assures his nephew that everything is in hand. He says the Kramer family name deserves to be respected and after tonight it will be. He says sooner or later they will rule this company and nobody will be able to stop them

*Robin Reborn talks to Christy James after Liam Wood thwarted their attack on Uryu. Reborn says that Wood will regret getting involved because this isn’t EWF anymore and Wood isn’t the big fish he once was, Reborn goes off on a story of Wood’s ego during their EWF days and says now he’ll answer for looking down on Reborn. Reborn rants about getting his respect and that means putting everyone in their place. Ojore and Drake remain silent in the background but join in with Reborn’s smile as Christy informs him that he and Uryu will meet next week in the opening round of the Road to Royalty whilst Ojore will face Liam Wood.

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:31 pm

Bout 5
Road to Royalty
Marty Helms vs Dante Phoenix

*Helms comes out all guns blazing but can’t pin Phoenix down. Phoenix ducks a big clothesline and tees off with knife edge chops and lashing kicks to the midsection. He grabs Helms’ wrist and attempts an Irish whip but Helms stands firm and responds with a big headbutt. Helms sprints out for a big boot but Phoenix ducks and gets a rollup for a two

*Phoenix looks to leapfrog but Helms catches him and attempts a powerbomb. Phoenix smashes his elbow down into Helms’ nose before rolling down the back into another pinfall for a two count. They scramble up and Phoenix springs onto the ropes before nailing a crunching knee under the chin of Helms. Helms is down on one knee as Dante runs the ropes and returns with a V-Trigger for a two

*Phoenix rolls out onto the apron and attempts a catapult DDT (ala Johnny Gargano) but Helms catches him and spins him into a modified spinebuster. Helms clubs Dante’s back repeatedly and then flips him up and nails a “dominator” powerbomb for a near-fall. Helms backs up in the corner and looks for a spear but Dante dodges it and sends Helms sprawling through the ropes. Phoenix then springs onto the turnbuckle and hits a disaster kick that sends Helms flying to the outside. Phoenix then connects with a running corkscrew flip over the ropes to the outside

*The action goes back inside the ring and Phoenix hits a top-rope meteora. He then motions Helms to his feet and looks for the “From the Ashes” roundhouse kick but Helms ducks and then nails a Samoan drop. He goes to the corner and scores with a flying headbutt but can only register a two

*Helms looks angry and he stomps his foot before attempting a running punt but Phoenix rolls out of the way and then springs onto his feet before connecting with a twisting enzeguiri as Helms approaches. Phoenix then hits the “Combustion” (Downward Spiral” for another two count.

*Helms gets up and Phoenix hits him with a running dropkick to the chest (ala Finn Balor) that sends him to the corner. He succeeds in lifting Helms onto a seated position on the turnbuckle before springing onto the ropes and he pulls Helms off into a hurricanrana. Phoenix rolls out onto the apron

JT: Dante Phoenix is growing in stature and confidence here…

JR: He’s taken the fight to Marty Helms and he’s more than holding his own…..his star is burning brighter by the week….BUCKSHOT!

Phoenix clings to the top rope and he waits for Helms to stand before he front flips over the top rope and looks for the huge lariat but Helms ducks underneath it and catches Phoenix in mid-motion with a huge black hole slam.

HE: Not so cheery now….Dante Phoenix walked straight into a living nightmare right there….and now he’s done….Marty Helms is heading for the next round of the Road to Royalty…

JT: Marty Helms promised that one way or another he would get another shot at Jackson Jackson….

Helms is seething with rage as he stares down at Dante Phoenix. He then rips off his elbow pad and then motions for Phoenix to stand before grabbing his wrist and pulls him forward…

JR: LIGHTS OUT FOR DANTE PHOENIX!

1.
..
..
….2
..
..
………….3!

HE: AHHHHHHHHHHH……NOOOOOO!

JT: GOT HIM!

Helms drives his elbow forward for the destructive “bullhammer” elbow but Phoenix ducks and then leaps up behind Helms to trap his arms between his legs before pulling him down into a crucifix pinfall that registers a three count, much to the disbelief of Helms…

JR: I don’t believe it….Dante Phoenix just got the biggest win of his career…

JT: I don’t think anyone can quite believe it….most of all Marty Helms….he looks ready to erupt….

HE: This cannot be happening…..

“Into the fire” is blasting through the speakers as Dante Phoenix rolls form the ring with a smile upon his face. The referee raises his arm in victory whilst Marty Helms is punching the canvass with fury all over his face…

HE: Marty Helms had it sewn up….that was never a three count..

JT: It was a three and Dante Phoenix just booked his place in the quarter final….

Phoenix and Helms share a staredown and Dante looks pleased with himself before “Sweet but a psycho” plays out of the speakers and Miss Jessica comes walking out onto the stage…

JR: An impromptu visit here from our General Manager…

JT: No need for here to be out here right now…

HE: She has every right if she wants to be out here…

JR: Dante Phoenix is not looking overly joyed to see Jessica…

JT: And he has good reason, they weren’t exactly exchanging pleasantries earlier tonight….

Miss Jessica: Sorry to interrupt and ruin the party but I just couldn’t sit back there and allow such a travesty to take place…

HE: She’s right…

JT: What travesty?!?

Miss Jessica: This tournament is about integrity and honour…..I cannot and will not allow participants to tarnish the prestige of this event….

JR: What on earth is she talking about….

Miss Jessica: Referee I am ordering this match to be restarted…

JT: ON WHAT GROUNDS?

Miss Jessica: You missed a clear and obvious violation from Dante Phoenix…..

JR: Show us the damn replay…

HE: She doesn’t have to…..Miss Jessica’s leadership is not in question here….

JT: You’re damn right it is….she’s screwing Phoenix here…

Miss Jessica: I should, rightly, disqualify him but I am fair and completely impartial so I’ll display leniency….this match will continue right now and the winner will be the man who earns it without cheating…

*Dante Phoenix is shaking his head in disbelief and he begins to stride across the walkway toward Miss Jessica

HE: Stay away from her…

JT: Phoenix has every right to question this…..there was no cheating, no rules broken….he won this match fair and square…

JR: He’s being done over here and it all leads back to that damn file from Cherry Falls….Miss Jessica told Phoenix earlier tonight that he would regret disobeying her by not handing it over…

JT: That information in Phoenix’ possession must be extremely incriminating for Miss Jessica to want it so badly….but even so, this isn’t right….

Marty Helms clatters into Phoenix from behind, sparking a big smile from Miss Jessica, and then he lifts Dante off the floor with an Uranage before slamming him onto the steel walkway. Helms drags Phoenix up and flips him into a powerbomb position before launching him over the top rope and back into the ring, Phoenix landing hard on the back of his neck….

JR: Damn sabotage…..Phoenix never had a chance to get back into this match…

The referee looks reluctant as Helms orders him to restart the match. The official looks back toward the stage, where Miss Jessica inclines her head, and then he signals for the bell…

JT: Phoenix is as good as out of it here….this is not the way it should be going down…

HE: This is exactly how it should go down….LIGHTS OUT…..EXCLAMATION POINT!

JR: Miscarriage of justice right here in front of us tonight at Proving Grounds….

1…………………2…………………………3!

HE: Ring the bell, ref….Marty Helms is a quarter finalist….

JT: Marty Helms just stole Dante Phoenix’s place in the next round of this tournament and it’s all thanks to Miss Jessica….

JR: I have a feeling she is going to make Dante Phoenix live to rue the day he disobeyed her….and if Jessica and Helms are singing from the same hymn sheet then 6CW is in big trouble….

JT: Helms has the boss’ backing and that is worrying……Dante Phoenix has been screwed here tonight…..

JR: It seems Jessica will do anything and everything to get her hands on that file…..Dante Phoenix better be careful….

HE: Marty Helms is one step closer to his throne and a guaranteed one on one match with Jackson Jackson for the 6CW Championship…..that title is as good as his…

“Remedy” is now booming from the speakers as Helms raises his own arms in victory whilst Dante Phoenix remains motionless at his feet. Miss Jessica takes one last, satisfied, look before disappearing into the backstage area.

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:34 pm

*Perfect Jack is interviewed and talks about his loss at Day of Reckoning. Says it was hard to take but he proved his mettle and that he can still be a force to be reckoned with. Jack says a win over Karl Kramer tonight will give him his momentum back heading into the Road to Royalty and then he can realise a dream of becoming 6CW Champion again. Jack is asked about a Clarke James return but PJ says Clarke has told him he's retired so there won't be a reunion any time soon, although he's smiling as he speaks

*Karl and Charles Kramer are interviewed by Travis Sharp. The Kramers say they were disrespected at Day of Reckoning by Marshall Murdoch and Crime Lord but everyone’s time is coming. KK says he’s torn on tonight’s main event because in some ways he wants Crime Lord to win so that he can rip the title from his unconscious body but on the other hand he hopes Jackson Jackson beats him within an inch of his life, he just hopes there’s enough left for him to feast on. Sharp asks about the 100k and CK holds up the briefcase before saying a “Kramer always pays his debts”. Dante Phoenix is shown hobbling past and CK curtails the interview in order to catch up with Phoenix. Dante doesn’t want to talk but KK towers over him and the scene ends with Charles Kramer putting his arm around Phoenix’ shoulder.

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:52 pm

Bout 6
Karl Kramer vs Perfect Jack

*Proving Grounds returns to air with the three commentators hyping the evening's Main Event as Perfect Jack is shown on the cameras making his way down the ramp. He then stretches in the corner waiting for the arrival of his opponent.

*Highlights from Karl Kramer's match with Marshall Murdoch at Day Of Reckoning are then shown as the beginning throes of his entrance music kicks in. Particularly highlighted are the various moments of interference from Charles Kramer. The cameras return to live action just as Karl Kramer steps into the ring. The commentators discuss the influence of Charles Kramer on Karl and whether it helped or hindered him at Day Of Reckoning.

*The bell rings to kick the match off. Kramer attempts to use his power game to dominate Perfect Jack from the get-go but he first uses some speed to avoid to the lock-up attempt and then picks off Kramer from afar with various strikes and takedown techniques. However, he is unable to keep the giant Kramer down for long with his takedowns.

*Perfect Jack manages to get an armbar locked in on Kramer, who throws him into the ropes but Jack boots him in the face on the rebound. He uses this as an opening and manages to throw Kramer down with a traditional vertical suplex. He follows that up with a ground and pound attack of fists before covering. There is quite a quick kick out from Kramer.

*Jack attacks with knees to the back, he drags up Kramer and tries for some punches but Kramer blocks it. This opens up an opportunity for Karl Kramer. He attacks Jack with a series of headbutts and then launches his rival into the ropes and flattens him with a leaping crossbody block in the middle of the ring leading to his first pin attempt.

*Perfect Jack kicks out from that. Karl Kramer then dominates the next phase of the match-up, scoring a series of close pinfalls with a combination of his various power-based moves - such as a running powerslam, backbreaker and a standing side slam.

*Kramer switches tact and goes on the attack with strikes, he hits a series of big elbows to the face of Perfect Jack to back him into the ropes. He throws him into the ropes and then returns to his power-based game with a pop-up powerbomb to score the closest pinfall so far.

*Kramer then positions Perfect Jack in the corner, he goes for a stinger splash but Jack moves at the last moment and Kramer crashes into the turnbuckles. Perfect Jack rolls him up into a pinfall position.

*Perfect Jack uses this opening to get in some offence. He attacks with strikes until Kramer gets up, Jack then snapmares him back down and follows that up with a running dropkick to go for his second pinfall.

*Perfect Jack is then forced to try and use some grappling offence against Kramer. He's successful in hitting two vertical suplexes but instead of going for the third, Jack switches up and connects with a DDT instead of attempting the three amigo's suplex. That earns a near fall.

*Jack earns couple more falls with an atomic drop/running forearm combination, a German suplex attack and then an incredible belly to back suplex from the 2nd rope following up from a running knee into the back.

*After that, Perfect Jack goes for a figure four leg-lock, his patented submission move...

JT: Normally the way to escape this hold would be to roll through onto your front to reverse the pressure but the sheer size of Kramer seems to prevent that.

HL: Power is equally as good a counter though Jeff, look at that, he nearly booted him out of the ring!

Kramer boots Perfect Jack into the corner to escape the submission hold. Kramer gets up to his feet and this time he manages to connect with a stinger splash. Jack stumbles out of the corner and walks straight into a big belly to belly suplex. Kramer drags him to the middle and makes the cover.

Ref: 1............................2.................Kick out!

Perfect Jack forces the shoulder up. Karl Kramer drags him to his feet and launches him into the ropes, on the rebound Kramer connects with a big back body drop. Kramer then bounces off the ropes and connects with a huge running back senton on the grounded Jack. He covers again.

Ref: 1................................2......................Kick out!

Kramer hauls up Perfect Jack, he then launches him into the ropes. Jack goes for a crossbody block but Kramer catches him, he hits two backbreakers and follows that up with a fallaway slam. He makes the cover.

Ref: 1...............................2....................Kick out!

Karl Kramer throws Jack into the ropes, he goes for the big spinebuster but Jack manages to counter that with a DDT. He hooks the leg.

Ref: 1................................2....................Kick out!

Perfect Jack allows Kramer to his feet and hits a German Suplex. Jack then goes up top...

JT: We don't see him up here too often...

JR: LEG DROP!

Ref: 1...................................2......................Kick out!

Kramer forces the shoulder up just in time. Perfect Jack lifts him up and goes for the Perfect Plex but Kramer blocks and then throws him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex. Jack rolls up and walks into the Karnage. Kramer walks to the corner..

HL: CANNONBALL RUN!

Ref: 1................................................2..............................................................3!

Ding, Ding, Ding!

JT: And this one is over!

JR: Karl Kramer picks up the win here over Perfect Jack.

HL: Tonight was a victory for power over precision, Kramer was simply too strong for Perfect Jack tonight.

JT: Charles Kramer will certainly be pleased with that performance from his client, that should go some way to recovering from the loss to Marshall Murdoch. But that's two losses on the spin for Perfect Jack following an impressive undefeated run....

JR: Jack will want to address that slump quickly but his performances have still been of an excellent calibre...both of these men will be a part of the Road to Royalty tournament and you'd have to say they're both serious contenders...

"Papercut" suddenly screams from the speakers, interrupting Kramer's celebration, and Marshall Murdoch comes walking out onto the stage...

JT: It looks like it's debt collecting time...

Karl Kramer turns toward the stage with a snarl and looks ready to fight as Marshall Murdoch comes across the walkway toward the ring. It takes some persuasion but eventually Charles Kramer manages to encourage his nephew to climb to the outside as Murdoch climbs in...

JR: The Consultant trying to keep his nephew from a fight....but you can see that Kramer is itching to get in there and settle the score with Murdoch....

HE: Kramer is a shoe in for the Road to Royalty, his uncle is doing the right thing here because a fight is unnecessary....he needs to stay as fresh as possible...

Karl Kramer is chomping at the bit but his uncle pulls him back and then grabs the briefcase from on top of the announce desk. He slides the case under the bottom rope so that it reaches Murdoch's feet and then beckons for his nephew to follow him round to the stage...

JR: Murdoch just came to get paid....Kramer owed him 100k and he's collecting...

JT: A DAMN DOUBLE CROSS!

Murdoch reaches down and he flips the case open, expecting to see the money from earlier, but it's completely empty. Murdoch's anger stirs and he spins around and is immediately ploughed by a huge spinebuster from Karl Kramer....Charles Kramer is shown laughing from the stage...

HE: Murdoch really thought it would be that easy? He'd never of won that match at Day of Reckoning without help from Crime Lord...

JT: But he still won it and Kramer made the bet....this issue between these two is not going away...

JR: Charles Kramer is playing with fire though because Marshall Murdoch has a track record for making people pay, one way or another...

Murdoch is wincing in pain, holding his ribs, as Karl Kramer rejoins his uncle on the stage. They both look pleased with themselves as they stare back at Marshall...

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:56 pm

*Jackson Jackson is interviewed by Christy James. Jackson mixes comedy and seriousness as he acknowledges the threat that Crime Lord poses to his reign as 6CW Champion. Jackson says he is forging his own path now and that being 6CW Champion is like a drug that he is not willing to give up. Jackson admits he isn’t 100% after the battle at Day of Reckoning but what he has left will have to be enough, he doesn’t know if it is but if Crime Lord wants his title he’ll have to leave him cold in order to take it away. Jackson says as far as he is concerned Marty Helms’ quest to be 6CW Champion is over and he doesn’t care how many favours he does for Miss Jessica to change that. Jackson goes on to say that if, somehow, Helms does weasel another opportunity then he’ll set the record straight once and for all.

*Dicey Reilly and Marty Helms go head to head in the backstage area. Dicey warns Helms that getting cosy with Miss Jessica is bad for your career but Helms tells Reilly to mind his own business. They exchange unpleasantries and Helms threatens to end Dicey the same way he did Cerberus but Dicey shows no intimidation. Says he's survived bigger and badder, name drops Genesis and Keith Leone as well as Cassius Zhi but Helms counters that nobody is a dominant or as dangerous as he. Dicey says "I guess we'll find out" and walks way leaving Helms in a rage

*Marshall Murdoch is packing his bag to leave the arena when Travis Sharp enters. Sharp asks if Murdoch is staying to watch the main event but Marshall says he doesn’t care who wins because all they are doing is keeping the belt warm for him. Sharp then asks about the issues with the Kramer Klan and getting his 100k but Marshall cuts him off before saying that Kramer can either pay in cash or blood, it is entirely up to him. He says 100k will seem like loose change compared to the surgeries he’ll have to pay for if he keeps playing these games. Marshall issues a deadline of the next show to pay up or there’ll be hell to pay. Sharp asks about Clarke James being in the building earlier but Marshall shrugs it off and says CJ knows where he is

*Crime Lord is interviewed by Fleur Michaels ahead of the main event. Crime Lord says he’s run through everyone in front of him so far and Jackson Jackson will be no different here tonight. Crime Lord proclaims a new era of dominance and says that once he gets the 6CW Championship there is nobody capable of standing up to him. Crime Lord dismisses comments made by Marshall Murdoch and Karl Kramer and Marty Helms’ claims to a shot at the title by referring to them as “pretenders”. But he does say that once he wins tonight anyone and everyone can try and take the title from him because they’ll all fall victim, 6CW is about to bend the knee just like 6WF did.

*Miss Jessica is visited in her office by Charles Kramer. Kramer taunts Jessica about having a conversation with Dante Phoenix and Jessica looks worried as he demands to know what Phoenix told him. Kramer is all smiles but won’t reveal anything. He says Jessica’s control is slipping and soon the reigns will be passed to someone else. Unless she wants to do the admirable thing and step away silently. Jessica says Kramer will never get what he wants and that he should be careful about going down this route. Kramer welcomes the fight because he only wants what is best for 6CW

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:57 pm

Main Event
6CW Championship
Jackson Jackson © vs Crime Lord

Ding ding

Michael Bird: The following contest is the main event of the evening and it is for the 6CW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

JT: Big fight time, folks….6CW Championship is on the line…

HE: The final night of Jackson Jackson’s reign…..

JR: It’s Iron Man vs Iron Man…..The champion won the “Iron Man” Tournament back in December to earn the title but his challenger tonight was adorned that moniker during his reign as the most dominant 6WF Champion in history…..this really is one of the most intriguing battles in the history of this illustrious championship…

JT: The speed, agility and sheer determination of the champion compared to the destructive, ruthless power and aggression from the veteran challenger….

HE: Jackson can be proud of what he has achieved, he’s exceeded all expectations but it all comes crashing down here tonight……one too many times he has got lucky but that runs out now, not even a miracle can save him from Crime Lord….

JR: Crime Lord has returned to pro wrestling on a tear and he yet to taste defeat…..it’s going to take something special to stop him from adding the 6CW Championship to his already incredible CV…

JT: Someone will need to verify but I’m pretty sure Jackson Jackson hasn’t tasted defeat here in 6CW since we re-opened the doors in October...

HE: Eight months unbeaten? No way…

JT: It will need to be verified, as I say, but I don’t remember one moment when he was pinned or submitted…..so write him off at your peril because he has overcome the odds time and time again…the world champion deserves respect…

The lights in the arena dim down to almost pitch black before “Back in Black” booms through the airwaves. Pyros explode from either side of the entranceway before a figure appears through the smoke…

Mike Bird: Introducing first, the challenger………from Lancaster, England…..weighing in at 276 pounds…….The Iron Man……Crrrriiiiimmmmmeeeee Looooorrrrrrrdddddddd!

JT: Crime Lord has seen it all and done it all in this business….he ruled 6WF with an Iron Fist….

JR: But he has never conquered 6CW….the world championship has always eluded him…

HE: Until tonight….the record will be set straight and Crime Lord will cement his legacy….tonight he seals his spot on the Mt Rushmore of Pro-Wrestling….

Crime Lord swaggers along the walkway and then slowly climbs through the ropes into the ring. He removes his jacket and raises his arms in the air before “Take me to the hospital” screeches out..

Michael Bird: And his opponent………….from London, England……weighing in at 225 pounds…..he is the reigning and defending 6CW World Heavyweight Champion……………Jaaaaaccckkkkkssssooooonnnn Jaaaaaccckkkkkssssssooooooonnnnn!

JT: Two weeks removed from the toughest defence of his reign so far…

HE: He fluked that win….he was out cold and knew nothing about it…

JR: He still won….Jackson Jackson has a found a way to win every single time he’s defended his title and that is what sets him apart, that is why he is the 6CW Champion…

HE: Luck only lasts so long….Crime Lord is going to violate and humiliate him here tonight…..Jackson is no match for his opponent…

JT: People have been saying that since October…but Jackson has managed to prove everyone wrong….he’ll be confident that he can do that again here tonight…

JR: But this will be one hell of a challenge….Crime Lord is one of the greatest ever and he too has found a way to beat everyone in his way….

HE: Not only beat them but he has dominated….he’s better than ever…

JT: What a way to close tonight’s show…main events don’t come much bigger than this…

JR: The whole landscape of this company could change in the next few minutes…

JT: We know Crime Lord likes to start fast and impose his will quickly….Jackson Jackson needs to be incredibly careful of that explosive beginning….

We get a look at the backstage area where the 6CW talents have gathered to watch the main event. Back at ringside and the referee is showing the 6CW Championship to both men…

JT: Every single member of the 6CW roster has an interest in the outcome of this match…..can Jackson Jackson shock the world again or are we entering a new era?

JR: One fall to a finish…..richest prize in the game on the line….buckle up….here we go!

The referee sounds the bell to start the match as Jackson says a final prayer to himself in the corner before turning out to face his opponent. He and Crime Lord circle one another and then lunge toward the centre…

JT: Jackson has to make that speed and agility count…..getting involved in a power struggle would be suicide for his title reign…

Crime Lord is expecting a lockup but Jackson ducks under his outstretched arms and quickly rushes off the ropes before ploughing back and launches himself through the air with a midair senton attack…

JR: HE CAUGHT HIM, MY WORD!

Jackson is in mid twist when Crime Lord catches him in his arms. He then lets out a roar as he lifts the champion up to his shoulders and runs him toward the corner…

JT: We saw him do this to Perfect Jack at Day of Reckoning….

HE: It’s over….

JT: OH MY…..THE TURNBUCKLE PAD WAS LOOSE!

Crime Lord is looking to powerbomb Jackson into the corner but the champion slips off the back and shoves his foe into the corner, where his head collides with the exposed steel of the turnbuckle. Crime Lord staggers back…

JR: Jackson must have removed it before the bell…

HE: That’s cheating…

JT: JACKED OFF….HE JUST JACKED OFF CRIME LORD….I DON’T BELIEVE IT!

Jackson quickly seizes the challenger before he plants him into the canvass with the pumphandle flatliner and hooks both legs…

1.
..
..
..
….2
..
..
..
………………3!

JR: I NEVER EXPECTED THIS….

HE: HE KICKED OUT….YES, YES….OH YES!

JT: WHAT ON EARTH IS HAPPENING HERE?

The referee’s hand seems destined to complete the three count but Crime Lord’s shoulder bursts off the mat before it can be. Jackson Jackson is sat in disbelief…

JR: No way….Crime Lord just kicked out after being “Jacked Off”…

JT: What a start to this match….I thought we were heading for a record time in a title defence…

HE: Never count out Crime Lord….he is the true Iron Man….

Jackson holds up three fingers to the referee but the official, who is looking surprised himself, shakes his head and indicates a two. Jackson gets back to his feet and lets out a deep sigh…

JT: Jackson Jackson just pulled out one of the biggest moves in his arsenal….the same move that won him the title, the same move that has ended most of his defences up to this point….but Crime Lord found a way to kick out…

JR: And usually Crime Lord is the man with the fast start but Jackson played him at his own game…

HE: But he didn’t play it so well because Crime Lord is still in this…

JT: But he’s rocked and Jackson has him on the ropes…..OUCH!

Jackson gets his composure and then he bounces back off the ropes and returns with a stiff knee to a seated Crime Lord (ala John Morrison) that drops the challenger flat on his back once again. Jackson manages to pull Crime Lord a little closer to the ropes and then he heads for the corner…

JT: Jackson is going all in here….he knows Crime Lord is hurt and he knows he won’t get many better chances than this….

JR: Jackson admitted in the pre-fight interview that Crime Lord is one of the most formidable superstars in history with an incredible pain tolerance….he knew it wouldn’t be easy but the champion always finds a way….JACKSAULT….OH WOW THAT IS INCREDIBLE!

HE: NOOOOOO!

Jackson gains serious hang-time and the instant replays go into overdrive as we bear witness to the sensational double rotation moonsault that lands flush to the downed Crime Lord….Jackson is clutching his ribs when the action returns live but he sucks it up and scrambles for the cover….

JR: No way Crime Lord can kick out…..this may be the most impressive victory of Jackson’s career…

JT: Without a doubt and the manner of it…….

1.
..
…..2
..
..
…………….3!

HE: YOU WERE SAYING? NEVER, EVER WRITE OFF CRIME LORD….

JT: THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING…..

JR: WE ARE WITNESSING SOMETHING EXTRAORDINARY HERE TONIGHT….

Jackson is once again at the mercy of the referee as Crime Lord kicks out before the count can be completed. Jackson looks to the heavens in disbelief…

JT: We knew coming into this that Crime Lord was as tough as they come but this is simply astonishing….

JR: There is a reason this man reigned as 6WF World Champion for so long…..opponents quite simply could not overcome him….is Jackson Jackson destined to suffer the same fate?

HE: Reality is sinking in for him now…

JT: Jackson just needs to remain composed…..he’s the world champion and he has his opponent on the brink….just keep chipping away….

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 7:59 pm

Jackson scrambles back to his feet and he looks down at Crime Lord, almost disbelieving, and then starts to beckon him back up. Crime Lord is slow moving, clearly hurt, as the champion stalks him…

JR: Jackson Jackson has to be so close to putting this match to bed….Crime Lord must have little to nothing left….

JT: JACKED OFF AGAIN!

Crime Lord stumbles up and Jackson grabs hold of him for a second finisher but this time Crime Lord rams the point of his elbow back into Jackson’s temple, breaking his grip. Jackson staggers off balance and then walks back in as Crime Lord scoops him up…

HE: LOCK…

Jackson senses the danger and quickly scrambles off the back of Crime Lord and shoves him toward the exposed turnbuckle again. Crime Lord throws his hands out to block the impact and then he bursts back out toward the centre but Jackson dodges his attack and then springs onto the ropes before floating back….

JT: GOT HIM!

HE: LOCK N LOAD…..NEW CHAMPION!

The ring shakes as Crime Lord catches Jackson and then drills him with an almighty F-5. Crime Lord nods his head in satisfaction before making the cover…

1.
..
…2
..
……….3!

JR: The first reign as 6CW Champion for Crime Lord begins tonight….

JT: NOT YET IT DOESN’T….

Crime Lord is punching the canvass in a fury as the referee points toward Jackson’s foot on the bottom rope. Crime Lord looks disgusted at himself…

JT: Crime Lord was still feeling the effects of Jackson’s early onslaught and he didn’t notice such a rookie mistake…

JR: Jackson handed a lifeline there….

HE: Yet another stroke of luck…It’ll be remedied any moment…..Crime Lord is one of the best finishers of all time and he smells blood in the water…

Crime Lord almost has pity on his face as he watches Jackson writhing on the floor but then his sinister smirk returns. He grabs Jackson by the wrist and he easily drags him up before lifting him onto his shoulders again…

HE: No more luck……..LOCK N LOAD!

Jackson manages to turn the F-5 into a desperation tornado DDT that leaves both men flat on the canvass. The referee begins to count them down…

JT: So much energy has been burnt up in less than two minutes…..incredible stuff….

JR: Reminiscent of the pace set by Crime Lord and Perfect Jack two weeks ago….

The count reaches five as both men start to stir. Jackson is the first to his feet and he lifts Crime Lord into an inverted atomic drop before running off the ropes….

JT: No-one home….GERMAN!

Crime Lord ducks the discus lariat attempt and then he launches Jackson with the hooked suplex. The challenger keeps his hands locked as he pulls Jackson back up into a second and then a third huge German suplex, releasing as he completes the hat-trick…

JR: Devastating hat-trick, drove all the wind from the sails of Jackson Jackson right there….

Jackson has a winded expression on his face following the third suplex but he has no time to recover as Crime Lord hauls him back up and then repeatedly launches him across the ring with a trifecta of overhead belly to belly suplexes….

HE: The dismantling begins now….Jackson Jackson is learning first hand what happens when you get in the ring with a beast….

JT: Crime Lord is having his way with the champion now….and he’s not done….JEEZ!

The referee is talking to Jackson, who is sat on the canvass looking worse for wear, as Crime Lord grabs him in a full nelson before pulling him and lands a huge snap dragon suplex. Crime Lord then repeats the process twice more….

JR: Another hat-trick of suplexes…..that’s nine straight that Jackson Jackson has taken….

JT: His insides have got to be crushed….

HE: And his neck….those were all bad landings…..this is the end…

JR: A pinfall now could and should end this…

JT: It’s almost as if Crime Lord wants to punish Jackson for finding the ropes earlier…

The referee is talking to Crime Lord about making a cover but the challenger merely smirks as he gutwrenches Jackson off the deck and then annihilates him with a powerbomb. He keeps his hands wrapped around Jackson’s legs as he lifts him clean off the canvass again into a second powerbomb….

JR: Another hat-trick of dominance is imminent…..THAT’S IT!

HE: Get that title ready…

The ring shudders once again as Crime Lord sits down into the final powerbomb. He places a nonchalant palm on Jackson’s chest as the referee counts….

1.
..
..
….2
..
..
………………3!

JT: AS GOD AS MY WITNESS…..HOW, WHY….WHAT ARE WE WATCHING…

JR: JACKSON JACKSON IS SHOWING GUTS BEYOND MEASURE HERE TONIGHT….

HE: The hell is this? Crime Lord should be 6CW Champion right now….

JT: He won’t be champion until he gets a decision and that is proving harder than he ever could have anticipated….

HE: Don’t get carried away, he is victimising Jackson Jackson here and it is only a matter of time before we crown a new champion….

JR: With Crime Lord as world champion the landscape of 6CW will alter dramatically….

HE: Nobody will want to face a dominant champion….

JT: Jackson hasn’t lost a match….I’d say that was pretty dominant…

HE: Not in the manner of those wins….Crime Lord oozes dominance….just look at what we are watching here…

Crime Lord crowds the referee in the corner and shouts at him about the validity of his count. The referee looks a little intimidated but he stands his ground and reminds Crime Lord that he is in charge…

JT: Crime Lord needs to be careful…..he is controlling this match but that could all disappear with a disqualification….

JR: I’m looking at Jackson Jackson right now and the champion is hurt badly….I’m not even sure he can continue….

Jackson is trying to stand but he falls across the middle ropes and just remains there as the referee drops down to check on him. Crime Lord’s anger has turned to amusement as he orders the official aside before dragging Jackson back up…

HE: The referee should stop this…save Jackson from a career ending beating….

JT: Jackson Jackson would hate his title reign to end on a stoppage…

JR: But if it prolongs his career…

HE: Crime Lord is being merciful, he’s going to end Jackson’s misery right now….LOCK N LOAD!

Another F-5 is on the cards but Jackson, in desperation, rakes the challenger’s eyes before falling off the back. Crime Lord is temporarily blinded as Jackson bursts off the ropes and returns with a flying double kick to the side of his opponent’s head, sending him flying through the ropes to the outside. Jackson is clearly struggling with internal injuries but he rushes to his feet and sprints to the ropes before launching himself over the top with a senton takedown…

JT: Jackson’s whole body must be a temple of agony right now but he’s showing champion’s resolve…

JR: He’s proving, once again, why he sits atop the mountain here in 6CW….

HE: A mountain he’s about to be launches off of….

Jackson holds his ribs and winces in pain as he gets back to his feet. He grabs Crime Lord and throws him back under the bottom rope before pulling himself onto the apron and ascending the ropes….

JT: Jackson is taking one hell of a risk here considering what he has been through in this match so far…

JR: Must feel he needs it to turn the tide….INCOMING!

HE: BIG MISTAKE!

Jackson flies through the air for a crossbody but Crime Lord moves aside at the final moment to send the champion crashing down on his chest and ribs. Jackson is hunched over, in agony, as the challenger quickly rushes in….

HE: CROSSFACE!

Crime Lord tries to lock in the submission but Jackson senses the imminent threat and rolls through. Crime Lord shows swiftness for a big man and he rolls with the champion before managing to bring him back in and applies the hold he was looking for…

JR: This may just be one hurdle too far for Jackson Jackson…

JT: It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel right now for the 6CW Champion….

HE: Soon to be former champion…

Crime Lord really yanks back on Jackson’s head, subsequently sending pain through his neck and back, as the referee slides down to see if the champion wants to give up. Jackson shakes his head vehemently and tries to break Crime Lord’s grip…

JR: Crime Lord is much stronger than Jackson and I don’t see him letting go…

HE: Not a chance….Crime Lord knows how close he is here….Jackson is doomed….

The referee is urging Jackson to reconsider but the champion screams out that he won’t quit and then squirms his body to the side….

JT: Jackson’s whole body must be going through torture here but he will not quit….he will not release his hold from the 6CW Championship….

Somehow Jackson manages to roll onto his back but Crime Lord merely changes the hold into a modified anaconda vice instead…

HE: That was blatant…

Jackson somehow manages to slip his hand free and he pokes Crime Lord in the eye, gouging at him, until the challenge lets go. Jackson is wracked in pain but manages to get back up as Crime Lord rises to meet him…

HE: He’s only delaying the inevitable…….LOCK N LOAD!

JT: CROSSFACE CHICKENWING!

JR: I wondered when Jackson may put those MMA skills to the test….now as good a time as ever…

JT: That Aaron Heath link-up paying dividends….

Jackson battles from the F-5 and manages to lock his hands around Crime Lord’s neck as he attempts to drag him down into the submission manoeuvre. Crime Lord is flailing, desperately, as he struggles to remain on his feet….

JR: Crime Lord staring down the barrel now….the momentum swings again…

JT: if Jackson can get the big man down and lock his legs around the waist then Crime Lord can forget it…..

HE: FORGET IT!

Crime Lord looks on the verge of dropping to the mat but then suddenly he crashes backward and crushes Jackson’s spine against the exposed turnbuckle. All the wind is drove from Jackson and he seems to deflate…

JR: That exposed turnbuckle just came back to haunt the champion….

6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020 Empty Re: 6CW Proving Grounds Results May 10th 2020

Post by JJJohnson Sun 10 May 2020, 8:00 pm

HE: LOCK N LOAD!

JT: Ultimate impact….

1.
..
..
..
…..2
..
..
..
………………3!

HE: AND THE NEW….

JT: You can count to a hundred if you like, Henry, but the referee can’t hear you….

Crime Lord nails the second F-5 of the match but Jackson’s trailing leg clatters into the referee’s jaw, knocking him down, whilst in midair. Crime Lord has the leg hooked before he notices what has happened…

HE: WE NEED ANOTHER REF….THIS MAN IS ABOUT TO WIN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP….

JT: You have to believe Crime Lord is on the cusp here but there’s no referee…

JR: The challenger is looking to shake the official back into consciousness…

Crime Lord has the referee by the front of the shirt and is trying to shake him to life but the referee isn’t stirring. The challenger then signals to the back for another official…

HE: This is a travesty of justice…..just how many strokes of luck can one man get…

JT: Jackson Jackson is far from out of the woods here….he has been battered throughout this contest….

JR: And it’s only about to get worse by the looks of things….

Jackson is trying to crawl to his knees but Crime Lord runs at him and lands the sickening “Drive By” knee to the temple, leaving him slumped. The challenger then climbs from the ring and he grabs a steel chair before re-entering the ring…

JT: This isn’t necessary….he already had the match in the palm of his hands…

HE: This is about putting an exclamation point on matters….

Crime Lord sets the chair up in the centre of the ring and he raps his knuckles on the seat before grabbing Jackson by the head. The champion can barely even open his eyes as Crime Lord props him up…

JR: Jackson can’t even stand of his own accord here….

JT: Crime Lord is one more “Lock n Load” away…….

HE: HERE WE GO!

JR: KARNAGE!

Crime Lord is suddenly spun around by Karl Kramer and then decimated right through the steel chair with a bone-crunching spinebuster. Kramer just stands over Crime Lord, his chest heaving in and out….

HE: WHAT? NO….NO, KARL, NO…

JT: I GUESS YOU CAN CALL THIS PAYBACK….

JR: KRAMER WARNED CRIME LORD THAT HE WOULD GET HIM BACK…

Crime Lord is writhing in pain as Kramer boots the crumpled steel chair from the ring. KK then backs up in the corner and he waits for his rival to clamber back up…

HE: This isn’t fair…..what are you doing, Karl?

JT: CANNONBALL RUN!

JR: HE JUST KNOCKED CRIME LORD INTO A NEW STRATOSPHERE!

Kramer bursts from the corner and he almost decapitates Crime Lord with the huge leaping lariat. Kramer then grabs the unconscious form of Jackson Jackson before dumping him on top of Crime Lord…

HE: No, not like this……kick out Crimey….

JT: Referee is stirring here….

The referee is still groggy but he slowly rolls around to make the cover as Kramer steps out onto the walkway…

1.
..
..
….2
..
..
..
……………….3!

JR: One shot too many…..the undefeated streak is over…

Ding ding ding

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner……AND STILL 6CW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION…………..Jaaaaaccckkkkksssooooooooooonnnnn Jaaaaacccckkkksssssoooooonnnnn!

JT: Jackson Jackson retains….he came through the fight of his life here tonight but he is still the 6CW Champion….

HE: This can’t be happening….he is literally the luckiest champion that ever lived…..that’s twice in a fortnight he’s won a match that he knew absolutely nothing about….

JR: It’s not Jackson’s fault that Crime Lord made such an enemy of Karl Kramer at Day of Reckoning….Jackson proved here again how durable he is, he is a true champion…

HE: That belt belongs to Crime Lord….if it wasn’t for Karl Kramer….oh he’s going to pay for this…nobody screws Crime Lord….

JT: I’d say what goes around, comes around…..Crime Lord should have known to expect retaliation from Kramer and here it is…one hell of a 6CW Championship match had ended in controversial circumstances…

JR: They both came flying out of the blocks, threw the kitchen sink at one another, and then Crime Lord seized control…..it looked inevitable that we’d be crowning a new champion here tonight but Karl Kramer felt differently…

JT: Jackson had his own success early and I’m still in shock at how Crime Lord came through that onslaught…..both men proved an awful lot here tonight but the history books will remember that Jackson Jackson retained…

HE: There should be an enquiry….or a re-match….something, surely?

JR: You need to let it go, Henry….your boy lost….he pi55ed off the wrong guy and paid the price…

Karl Kramer is smirking from the stage as he watches Jackson Jackson being presented with the 6CW Championship. Jackson is unsteady on his legs but he accepts the belt and cradles it close to him as Crime Lord is coming around in the corner….Kramer and Crime Lord lock eyes…

JT: I’d say that we have not seen the last of the issues between those two behemoths….

JR: I’d say you’re absolutely right, Jeff, and what a collision that will be…

HE: Kramer will pay, no doubt, but don’t think Crime Lord is done with the 6CW Championship either…

JT: Crime Lord is just one of many in the chasing pack….Jackson Jackson knows he’s a marked man, that’s the life of a champion, but he will never shirk a challenge….you say he’s lucky but the best create their own luck….it’s no coincidence that he keeps winning, like it or not, he is world class…

HE: Crime Lord….Marty Helms….whoever wins the Road to Royalty….perhaps one of the men I’ve just mentioned…..one day Jackson Jackson is going to run out of luck or people to help him and he’s going to come unstuck….mark my words that his days as champion are numbered….

JR: Those grapes sure are sour, Henry…..the fact is that Jackson Jackson is still the 6CW Champion and despite everything you say about him he has turned away every single challenge thus far into his reign….

JT: 151 days and counting as 6CW Champion…..that is no accident…..Jackson Jackson is putting his name up there with the greats of this business, we are witnessing a special reign right now and it is full value entertainment every single time….what a main event and what an ending to tonight’s Proving Grounds….

The show comes to an end as Jackson staggers into the ropes and then holds the 6CW Championship up to the camera before letting out a satisfied yell of victory. He kisses the belt and then shouts “Who’s next?” down the lens.
