6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

*The show opens after a major recap of Born in Fire XI. Alex Walker enters the fray and is met by a wall of boos from the capacity crowd in Glasgow. Walker doesn't seem fazed at all and he wants to start off by introducing us to his partner in all of this, Clarke James. The boos (if possible) are even louder as the maniacal Clarke James enters the building. Walker wants to tell us a story. He wants to explain how he tricked and deceived every last one of us, especially JJ Johnson. He exposed JJ's biggest flaw to see the best in people and at Born in Fire the grand plan came in to fruition.

Walker goes on to describe his elaborate plan from start to finish. How he manipulated Drake and Johnny Oko. How he bought Oko's shares in the company before he even lost his match to Uryu. He designed all the attacks on Acer (including being the man in the mask at Acer's house). Walker seems gleeful as he goes on to explain the manipulation of Diablo and how he made everyone believe Cassius Zhi has returned to seek revenge on his slave master when in reality it was Clarke James. The same way that he created the scenario where CJ brutalised Walker himself in front of everyone to sell the idea that they were never in cahoots. Walker says the whole plan was created in order to ensure he could secure a 50% stake in 6CWF and that is exactly what has happened. Oko sold up, Diablo sold up.....Christy and Acer were never stakeholders....so now JJ and Brandi's percentage of the company is only on par with his (he smiles broadly at this).

And now because JJ is gone (Walker explains he won't be back after the beating he took) and there is no way Brandi will return without her husband's protection, that means he now runs 6CWF (huge boos from the audience). Walker says things are going to change around here and this is going to become the greatest wrestling company ever seen but it will be run on his terms and if anyone has the audacity to step out of line they will feel the full force of his wrath.

Walker explains that his alliance with Clarke James is very simple.....CJ helped Walker to secure half of the company and in return Clarke James will become the biggest star in this company. Walker reminds everyone what he did for Genesis and how he led them to unrivalled success but this is a new chapter....a bloodier, more violent chapter.....this is Exodus....because this is the end of this industry as we all know it....and nobody will be able to stand in the way of this.

Cue Cody Walker's interruption. Cody is battered and bruised after what he went through during the "Hardcore Hell" match but he can't believe what he is hearing. Cody was just building trust with his father, trying to see him in a different light, but he has just proven what he thought all along, Alex Walker is a piece of (beep). Cody says JJ gave him a start in this industry (not his father) and he won't just accept that AW and CJ have stolen this company. Alex Walker tries to reason with his son. Says there is a place for him at his father's right hand side. That under the tutelage of Alex Walker and Clarke James, Cody can become the brightest talent and they can mould him to takeover.

Cody shakes his head. He says he won't betray JJ and Brandi and he won't allow his father and Clarke James to destroy the house that they have all worked so hard to build. Walker doesn't want it to be this way but says Cody is leaving him no other choice and that he and CJ will have to settle this right here and now unless Cody agrees to pledge his allegiance to Exodus. Cody reiterates that there is no way he will join them and vows to send them packing. Clarke James is just eyeing Cody with bloodlust. Alex Walker signals that it's time to get this contest underway.

Bout 1
Clarke James vs Cody Walker

*Alex Walker climbs from the ring as the referee gets the competitors ready for the upcoming bout. Alex looks to his son and gives him “one more chance to reconsider” but Cody turns to his father and shakes his head. It is at this point that Clarke James clatters into him from behind and begins to pulverise him in the corner. CJ unloads with vicious kicks to the stomach and forearms to the face before he lashes off with chops that leave Cody’s chest blood red.

*Alex Walker just continues to watch as Cody is whipped to the opposite corner with fierce velocity and collapses on his front. Clarke James uses the ropes to jump up and then stomp down on the back of Cody’s neck until the referee intervenes. Cody rolls onto the apron. CJ drags him up and looks to land more battering ram shots to the chest (ala Sheamus) but Cody ends up seizing his head and dropping him into a guillotine. He then lands an apron pele kick which staggers James backward.

*Cody goes up high and he nails a meteora takedown before running the ropes and returning with rolling thunder. CJ rolls from the ring now to regain himself. Cody runs the ropes and leaps into a twisting corkscrew but Alex Walker shoves CJ aside. Cody, amazingly, lands on his feet but CJ then lifts him up and drives him backward into the ringpost before dragging him into the aisleway and nails a hard suplex on the concrete.

*CJ throws Cody back in the ring as Walker gives him a knowing nod of the head. James scales the ropes now but Cody is up and he leaps through the air to land on the turnbuckle, slamming a knee against James’ jaw. Cody glares down at his father before landing a huge hurricanrana from on high. Cody quickly follows up with an asai moonsault but CJ kicks out again.

*Cody sets for the “Masamune” (Trouble in paradise) but CJ ducks and nails a sleeper slam for a two. CJ chokes Cody on the canvass and slams his head off the mat before biting at his head until the referee breaks them apart once more. CJ looks demonic as he drags Cody up and then suplexes him into the turnbuckle so the youngster is left upside down. James then circles the ring and returns with a flying body strike that crushes Cody against the turnbuckle.

*CJ uses the ropes again to leap up and stomp on the spine of Cody. The referee pulls James away and gives him his final warning. Alex Walker is over and telling his son “It really didn’t have to be this way”. James puts Cody’s head on the ropes and he jams his hands inside his mouth and tries to rip it open. He then releases and runs the opposite side before returning with a splash (ala Bossman) that crushes Cody into the ropes.

*CJ seems to be waiting for the call from Alex Walker to end things and the GM gives the thumbs up. Cody slowly staggers to his feet and James draws him in close for “Faithless” but Cody elbows his way free, showing one more act of defiance. Cody springs off the ropes and nails a disaster kick before scooping James on his shoulders and slings him off into a pele kick (Dolphin Blow) for a nearfall.

*The crowd are right behind Cody as he ups the ante. He climbs out onto the apron and catapults back in with a flying European uppercut to knock CJ off his feet. James is back up as Cody runs the ropes and returns with a slingblade takedown. James gets up again and this time he thinks he has countered with a tilt-a-whirl but Cody counters again into a facebuster takedown (ala Carmelo Hayes). Cody then heads for the top rope and the fans are bouncing as he leaps through the air and catches James’ with a DDT (Meteorain). A three count looks to be on the cards but James kicks out, much to everyone’s surprise.

*Cody is resolute as he gets back up and gives his father another stare. He ushers CJ to his feet and begins to lift him for the “Ultima Weapon” (One Winged Angel) but CJ claws at Cody’s eyes and is able to scramble off the back. The referee is checking on Cody as CJ walks over to the corner now and rips the padding off the top turnbuckle. Alex Walker distracts the referee as James runs Cody forward and splits his head by smashing it off the exposed steel.

*RJ & JT cannot believe Alex Walker would oversee this violence against his own son as CJ plants him “Faithless” in the middle of the ring. Cody is a bloody mess as the commentators talk about how this is reminiscent of what happened at “Destiny”. JJ Johnson made the save that night but he’s nowhere to be seen here tonight. Clarke James rags Cody up and drills him with a second “Faithless” now before dropping on top of him and lands vicious punches, coating his hands in Cody’s blood. The referee wants to end it but CJ shoves him away as he drags Cody up for a third time and nails a double underhook piledriver (Jay Driller) for the three count.

*CJ just kneels over the bloodied Cody Walker as Alex climbs up in the ring. Alex looks down at his son and shakes his head (almost showing disappointment) before raising James’ hand. The commentators are appalled but Walker and CJ seem to bask in the crowd’s anger. CJ then drops from the ring and he comes back with some rope. Alex Walker just stares, showing no emotion, as CJ drops down and wraps the rope around neck of Cody whilst synching in a variation of the crossface until Cody passes out. The ropes is now stained with blood as James picks it up and slings it over his shoulder. JT says if this is a sign of things to come then 6CWF needs to be worried because Alex Walker doesn’t even give a damn about his own son’s welfare. RJ can’t decipher who is the Devil in this pact but he knows they are both demons of the evilest nature.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 8:56 pm

*Dicey Reilly has arrived and he is pi55ed off. Dicey says he doesn't give a damn about anyone's personal issues but at Born in Fire XI he was set to become world champion and it was stolen away by Genesis and Rex Adamson. So Dicey just wants to make it clear that when he sees them it is on sight and they will realise that he is not the kind of guy that you (beep) with. Dicey points to Leone, Genesis V1, Cassius Zhi and reminds them that they all found out the hard way and says history has a habit of repeating itself.

*Alex Walker is accosted by Jack Reynolds backstage. The bloodstained Clarke James just loitering in the background. Walker says that what happened to his son should serve as a warning to anyone and everyone on the roster. The Exodus regime cannot be stopped. Reynolds looks disgusted that Walker would allow Cody to take that kind of beating.

Walker wants to assure everyone that whilst he has control they need to remember that he put 6CW on the map in 2011 and the ratings were higher than they ever have been. This reign will be no different because Alex Walker knows what people want to see. First he wants to announce the Day of Reckoning pay per view and explains it will be a two night event, culminating with the return of the "Gateway to Glory" match to determine who will go on to Night of Glory to challenge for a world title. That is where the "Fight for #30" comes in. Walker says there will be three matches and the three victors will join Clarke James (major boos at this) in the finale on January 30th to see who will earn that prestigious number.

Walker then explains that January 30th will be a huge show for 6CWF emanating from the historic Tokyo Dome in Japan. Walker says he is taking 6CWF to new heights and that anyone on the roster who opposes him would be foolish to do as they risk missing out on being a part of resurgence.

*The commentators give us a recap on the hellacious battle between Liam Wood and Engel Harlequin during "Hardcore Hell". Neither man has been cleared for competition here tonight but we are led to believe that they could feature in ten days time at the 20th January edition of Proving Grounds. Engel Harlequin interrupts the feed and he is a bruised, bloody mess. It looks as though he is still mangled from what happened at Born in Fire. Engel says that he and Wood are far from done and what comes next will live in the memories of everyone forever more. He smiles, showing bloodstained teeth, as the scene ends.

*We see Blue Dragon arriving at the arena with the Key to the Kingdom Championship. Dragon strides through the backstage area as everyone keeps their distance. We see Dragon arriving at Alex Walker's office and he stares at the door for a moment before pushing it open.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 8:56 pm

Bout 2
The Parasite Killers/Cassidy vs Dicey Reilly/Geoff Steel/Scott Harris

*PK are first out with Jenny McManus. The commentators remark on PK’s disappointment at Born in Fire but they will be looking to quickly re-establish themselves with victory here tonight, especially with spots in the “Gateway to Glory” up for grabs now. Cassidy slithers out to join them and he looks incredulous. JT tells us that Cassidy was furious to not be involved at Born in Fire, RJ says that tonight presents a great opportunity for him to prove he deserves those kind of chances.

*Geoff Steel makes his entrance, followed by Scott Harris and finally Dicey Reilly. All three are afforded huge ovations from the audience. We are reminded of their very mixed fortunes at Born in Fire but RJ thinks all three men are very viable candidates to win the “Gateway to Glory” and go on to headline Night of Glory. JT also mentions how all three men, at one point or another, have had serious issues with Genesis.

*James McManus and Steel start the match off. Steel fights out of an attempted “Death Valley Driver” and hits a release full nelson slam for a two. Steel considers going high for a flying headbutt but Fantatic lands a vicious uppercut to sit him down. McManus nails a superplex for a two.

*Cassidy demands a tag. He tries to nail the “Sins of our father” spear but Steel uses his momentum to spin him up into a powerslam. Dicey is tagged in and he sends Cassidy skyward with a backdrop and then nails a brainbuster for a nearfall. Fanatic is demanding the chance to test himself and Dicey happily allows Cassidy to make the tag.

*Dicey ducks a lockup and kicks to the gut before looking to nail the “Craicdown” out of nowhere but Fanatic counters with a backdrop. Dicey is back up and fights his way out of an attempted chokeslam. He runs the ropes but returns into a huge sideslam from Fanatic. Fanatic then presses McManus over the ropes and slams him down on the Irishman before following up with a legdrop for a two.

*Fanatic wants the chokebomb but Dicey boots his way free. He lifts the big man into a slam before heading to the corner. He tags in Scott Harris and they go to opposite corners before nailing duelling frogsplashes. Harris follows up with the codebreaker and covers but McManus drags him from the ring. McManus looks for a huge lariat but Harris ducks. Harris wraps his arms around the waist for a German suplex but Cassidy leaps off the apron and fells him with an overhang neckbreaker. Harris is thrown back in the ring and he eats a huge boot to the face from Fanatic for a nearfall.

*Cassidy wants back in and McManus just shrugs at his partner as he makes the tag. Cassidy screams for Harris to rise and then looks for his own “codebreaker” but Harris catches him and slams him down. He looks for the sharpshooter but Cassidy pokes him in the eye to break free. Cassidy nails “Idolatry” (Zigzag neckbreaker) for a two. Cassidy drags Harris centre ring and attempts a lionsault but lands across the knees. Harris tags Dicey back in.

*Dicey drags Cassidy up for the “Craicdown” but Jenny McManus distracts the ref and Cassidy lands a low blow. Cassidy then hits Dicey with the “Purification” (Judas Effect) but Dicey kicks out. Cassidy is irate and threatening the official as McManus slaps his back and chooses to take over

*McManus nails Dicey with the “knee trembler” to the temple but Dicey kicks out again. McManus goes high and leaps into a crossbody but Dicey catches him and swings him onto his back before nailing the “Celtic Cross” (Back to belly piledriver ala Finlay) for a two. McManus stumbles into the corner and Dicey chases in for the “Hangover cure” knee strike but Fanatic grabs him by the throat before he can connect and nails a huge chokeslam from the apron.

*Fanatic tags in and scales the ropes before leaping off with a huge lariat (ala Kane). Dicey staggers up now as McManus climbs on the turnbuckle. Fanatic scoops Dicey up and they nail the “Midnight Hour” (ala New Day)…..Fanatic is ready to make the pin when Cassidy slaps his back, much to the chagrin of PK.

*There is a momentary stand off and then Cassidy covers but Dicey kicks out. Cassidy is annoyed as he yells at Dicey to stand and then jumps into an RKO attempt but Dicey pushes him into the ropes and pops him up as he comes back, leaving Cassidy to splatter onto his face. Dicey offers the tag to Steel, who gladly accepts.

*Steel shows his strength as he bench presses Cassidy and then slams him down. He heads for the corner now and comes hurtling off with an impressive headbutt to the chest. McManus seems to want to leave Cassidy to his own mess but Jenny is insistent they pick up the W. McManus looks annoyed as he climbs in and breaks the count, which leads to a brawl between both teams.

*Scott Harris dodges an uppercut from Fanatic and lifts him into a version of the “Shot in the Dark” (Olympic slam) that dumps the big man over the ropes to the outside. Harris turns around and is drilled by the “River Wensum Plunge” from McManus. McManus trash talks Harris before he is spun around and taken out by the “Craicdown”.

*Cassidy is back on his feet and he leaps into Dicey’s back with double knees that send the Irishman through the ropes to the outside. Cassidy is full of himself until he turns around and his legs are swept from under him by Geoff Steel. Steel applies the “Steelworks” in the centre of the ring. Fanatic is pulling himself up on the apron to come to Cassidy’s aid but Dicey grabs the big man’s legs and yanks him off the apron so that his head collides with the ring. Cassidy taps and we have our winners.

*Steel, Harris and Dicey all celebrate as the commentators talk them up and their chances of going on to headline Night of Glory. There is a lot of respect between all three men but a professional respect as they all realise they will likely be competing for the same spot in the coming weeks.

*The faces leave the ring now and Cassidy is on his knees, screeching at PK for “costing him”. Jenny McManus looks outraged but her husband calms her down and then looks at Fanatic, exchanging a knowing look. They nod and then roll into the ring. Cassidy makes to rush McManus but he sidesteps and then drills Cassidy with a brutal forearm to the back of the neck….Fanatic scoops Cassidy on his shoulders as McManus runs the ropes and dives into a huge “Boot of doom” that leaves him unconscious on the canvass. Jenny McManus’ smile has returned as she welcomes PK to the outside. The commentators talk about a loss on record for PK but they look on the same page and that spells danger for anyone who gets in their way going forward.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:13 pm

*We head backstage and Blue Dragon is standing in the office of Alex Walker. Clarke James is there, sitting on the sofa, whilst Walker is reclining in his chair. Blue Dragon is just making Walker aware that when the time comes he will use the KTTK and he will be the world champion in this company. Dragon understands Walker is doing his thing but he'd be unwise to get in the way...both of them (Dragon and Clarke stare at one another. Dragon says it doesn't matter who the champion is, it doesn't matter who the challengers are and it doesn't matter who the other predators are (he once again glares at Clarke James) because he will annihilate anyone in his path.

Walker smiles at Dragon's comments and then says he has no problem with Dragon's rise to prominence and he can rest assured that Exodus has no plans to get in the way of the chaos he plans to create. Dragon just stares at them and leaves. Walker turns to CJ and says "We can't just savage everyone who talks to us like that....but we can work any situation to our advantage, believe me".

*Geoff Steel is talking with Clarissa following the big tag team win. Steel says he is disappointed with what went down at Born in Fire and is hoping at some point in the future he will get another shot at Daniel Reilly, a fair shot, and that he will get even when that happens. But now all attention turns to Day of Reckoning and the Gateway to Glory. Steel is officially announcing his participation in the match and says all eyes are on headlining "Night of Glory" (sparking massive cheers from the crowd).

*Max Adamson is here in Glasgow. Dicey Reilly confronts him and wants to know where Rex is. Max is angered and tells Dicey he doesn't have a damn clue but to form an orderly queue because if anyone is getting their revenge first it will be him. Dicey and Max stare at one another for a good moment before Max heads toward his dressing room.

*We see GazzyD and Christy in the building. Gazzy has the 6CW Championship strapped around Christy's bump. Tim Allen approaches for an interview and wants to talk about what happened at Born in Fire. He tries to talk with Christy (long term friends) but she doesn't seem very talkative and Gazzy takes over. He says it is rude of Tim not to have congratulated him yet on becoming a three time world champion. Allen looks uncomfortable with Gazzy's demeanour but ends up congratulating him. Gazzy says this will be a reign to remember as "The Family" takes centre stage in 6CWF and finally he will get the respect he deserves. Allen asks about Uryu (Christy now looks uncomfortable) but Gazzy dismisses him. He says he'd be surprised to see Ishida ever again but if he is foolish enough to come back and renew this rivalry then it will be the last bad decision he ever makes.

Bout 3
GazzyD vs ???

*Edward Plague leads Gazzy and Christy to ringside, drawing boos from the audience. Plague is still masked and Christy seems uncomfortable with his presence. She tightens up as Plague unstraps the 6CW title from around her bump and takes possession. Gazzy kisses his wife and climbs into the ring as two of Plague's "maidens" arrive in white cloth clothes and lead her backstage. Edward Plague is carrying the 6CW Championship at ringside as Gazzy prepares for his challenger. Former 6CW star Chael Kingdom is revealed as the opponent. JT reminds us that Kingdom is a former UK Champion and MMA fighter.

*They lockup and Kingdom is quick to take Gazzy’s back and lift him off the deck. He tries to keep the world champion grounded and apply a rear choke but Gazzy is able to roll to freedom and heads for the ropes, ordering the referee to keep Kingdom at bay. Plague shows Gazzy the world title and he nods. They circle again but Gazzy drives in with a vicious kick to the stomach before running the ropes and returning with a flying dropkick that knocks his opponent out of the ring.

*Gazzy climbs the turnbuckle now and he leaps into a crossbody takedown on the outside. He chucks Kingdom back in the ring and prepares for a springboard 450 but Kingdom moves. Gazzy transitions into a forward roll and gets back up. He runs at Kingdom but misses a clothesline and eats a solid bodyshot and an uppercut to the jaw that sags him back on the ropes. Kingdom applies a Muay Thai clinch and drives knees into the head and body before he rags Gazzy out into a t-bone suplex for a two count.

*Kingdom pulls Gazzy up for a package piledriver but the world champion succeeds in swiping his legs and then leaps up and lands a legdrop to the midsection (ala Jeff Hardy)….Kingdom rolls over to the corner and Gazzy sprints in with a catapult dropkick to his seated opponent (again ala Jeff Hardy). Gazzy climbs high and dives off with a missile dropkick for a nearfall.

*Gazzy sets for “Deep Impact” but Kingdom counters with a backdrop. Gazzy lands out on his feet and runs the ropes. Kingdom tries to counter with a tilt-a-whirl but it is countered again into a headscissors which sends Chael into the turnbuckle and back out into a “skull crushing finale”. The referee makes the count but Kingdom amazingly kicks out.

*Plague merely continues to stand and watch as Gazzy waits for Kingdom to stand and then he runs to the corner and leaps onto the turnbuckle before twisting back for a dropkick (ala Jericho) but Chael catches his feet. He looks to wrestle Gazzy into a submission but Gazzy kicks him back into the ropes. Gazzy gets up and runs forward but is backdropped over and onto the apron. Kingdom turns around and Gazzy nails a step-up kick to the jaw….Kingdom staggers and Gazzy springboards back in with a flying, one-handed, bulldog takedown.

*Gazzy pulls him close to the corner now and drills him with a “starship pain” off the ropes. Kingdom is doubled up in pain as Gazzy pulls him to his feet and nails the “Deep Impact” for the three count. The commentators remark on a dominant showing from the new 6CW Champion. Plague now climbs up in the ring and he presents the championship to Gazzy. Gazzy silences the crowd as he climbs onto the turnbuckle to pose with the belt. Plague circles Kingdom now before he drags him up and smashes him into the canvass with the “Purifier” (Omega Driver). He kneels over Kingdom and stares up at Gazzy, who continues to celebrate with his title.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:27 pm

*Anthony Grace is interviewed by Clarissa. Grace admits he is less than 100% after Born in Fire but requested this match because now it is time to settle his issues with Robin Reborn. Grace is thankful to the fans for all of their support and is hoping to repay their faith in him tonight by holding Reborn accountable for all of the disgusting things he has said and done. Clarissa asks about the "Gateway to Glory" and the prospect of headlining Night of Glory but Grace says all concentration is on tonight and after that he'll begin to look forward for the first time in forever.

*The Genesis limousine arrives. Eddy Kent is dressed to the nines and we see the rest of Genesis are in suits too, except Rex Adamson (dressed in a black and green tracksuit). They have barely stepped toward the arena when Dicey Reilly attacks Rex. He manages to get a few shots in before the whole of Genesis attack and beat Dicey down in the parking lot. They smash his head into the side of a nearby car and then Tyler Roth spinebusters him on the concrete. Sweetwater climbs on the limo and leaps off with the foot stomp. They drag Dicey up and Rex is passed a ring with a "G" on it by Eddy Kent. Rex puts the ring on and lands a huge punch which splits the bridge of Dicey's nose open. They stomp on him now before Scott Harris storms in to try and save. Harris manages to drop Sweetwater and is brawling with Roth before he is shoved away and eats a "Genesis Kick" from Eddy Kent. Rex Adamson drags Harris up and smashes him through a car window. Harris is bloodied now as he falls down next to Dicey on the concrete floor. Genesis stand over them and smirk before walking into the building.

*Robin Reborn is already in a celebratory mood because JJ Johnson is "dead and gone". He brushes off the injuries sustained at Born in Fire and says tonight represents step one of his three step plan. #1 is to retire Anthony Grace and put him on the Hollywood has-been list with Johnson. #2 is to win the Gateway to Glory match at Day of Reckoning. #3 is to headline Night of Glory and become world champion once more. Reborn says the plan is foolproof. Reborn then lets out the howl of a wolf before walking off.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:28 pm

Bout 4
Anthony Grace vs Robin Reborn

*Major hype in the arena as we return to ringside for the upcoming contest. We get all the recap on Anthony Grace and Robin Reborn as a tag team before Charles Kramer’s passing and Grace’s stint in rehab. Reborn’s disgusting comments and both as well as promising to end Grace’s career should he ever return. We see the fight at the awards ceremony followed by the brutality that each bestowed upon the other during “Hardcore Hell” at Born in Fire XI. JT reminds us that Anthony Grace made this challenge and Reborn gladly accepted but just five days removed from the brutality of “Hardcore Hell” it is hard to imagine the condition either man will be in.

*Reborn is the first out and he has a t-shirt on which reads “Cracka Killer”. He talks to the camera as he walks down the ramp and we hear him say “Lizzie, I’m coming fo’ that a55 after I’m finished wit yo boy” and “JJ, you nuttin’ but a dead sucka now, fool….lucky I didn’t get to you first”. The crowd are booing Reborn’s mere presence but he doesn’t seem to care as he vaults up into the ring.

*Anthony Grace is afforded a huge ovation from the audience as he arrives. He is banged up and also sporting many wounds from “Hardcore Hell” just like his opponent. Grace is moving gingerly and we get a replay on him being powerbombed through the cell at Born in Fire. Grace reaches out to tag hands with some fans at ringside before stepping toward the base of the ring. Reborn hits the ropes and he torpedos through the ropes with a suicide dive at a serious high speed but Grace anticipates him and sidesteps as Reborn literally nosedives into the solid flooring.

*Grace drags Reborn up now and the crowd cheer his vindictiveness as he flips Reborn into a powerbomb position and then slams him against the ringside barrier. Reborn is in a bad way as Grace finally throws him into the ring to get the match underway.

*Grace climbs the ropes and comes off with a heavy axe handle to the head which fells Reborn. He then drops him with two running clotheslines before lifting him into an atomic drop and a spinning heel kick to the back of the head which sends Reborn staggering into the corner. Grace climbs up and delivers 8/10 punches before Reborn grabs him and drops out, causing Grace’s face to smash into the turnbuckle. Reborn drags Grace out into a backstabber as the commentators remind us of the damage done to Grace’s back when he crashed through the cell.

*Reborn runs the ropes and returns with a low flying bakatare sliding kick to the face. He stands over Grace, venom oozing from him, and trash talks his rival before heading for the corner. Reborn prepares himself now for the “Flight of the Navigator” but Grace moves at the final second to send his opponent crashing into the mat. Reborn stumbles up in the corner and Grace hits a running clothesline and then runs him out into a bulldog for a two count.

*Grace draws on the support of the crowd as he wills Reborn to his feet. He attempts the “Blackbuster” (tornado roundhouse) but Reborn ducks out and then nails a step-up enzeguiri. Grace staggers into the corner and Reborn nails a step-up enzeguiri again (ala Del Rio) before he lifts his opponent up on the ropes and connects with a sensational top rope hurricanrana. Grace is flat on his back as Reborn follows up with a standing shooting star press for another two.

*Reborn is talking to Grace once more and here him saying “My boys gone run a train on yo wife, ain’t a damn thing you can do”. He climbs out onto the apron and prepares for the springboard forearm smash but Grace sidesteps at the final second and snaps off a bridged German suplex for another two. Reborn rolls from the ring as Grace climbs out on the apron. He runs across and dives off but Reborn sidesteps and sends Grace clattering into the steel steps. Reborn slings Grace back in the ring now and this time he scores with the catapult forearm but Grace kicks out.

*Reborn and the referee exchange words before attention is fixed back on Grace. Reborn is mocking him and slapping him around the head before he hauls him up. He prepares for “God’s Last Gift” (Cradle Suplex) but Grace somehow scurries his body so he is able to spin off the back and pushes Reborn to the corner. He chases in but RR spins around the ropes and nails a kick over the top. Reborn goes high now and leaps into a huge crossbody takedown but Grace rolls through and gets an extremely close two.

*Reborn is up and looks for a discus elbow but Grace dodges and scoops him into a heavy backbreaker. He heads for the ropes and climbs up as the cheers go out all around. Grace launches himself into a picture perfect moonsault and lands it flush. It takes him a fair while to make the cover, however, and that allows Reborn enough time to recover and kickout. Grace is a little surprised but he grabs at the ropes to help himself up. He stalks Reborn now and runs out for the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er) but Reborn pulls clear at the final second and nails the “World Star” neckbreaker for a two.

*Reborn heads for the corner again but Grace is up and lands a right hand. Both men are fighting on the ropes now, going back and forth, until Reborn rakes at the eyes and shoves Grace off. Grace stumbles upon landing and knocks into the referee. The official is down, dazed, as Reborn prepares to leap off the ropes but jumps straight into the “Blockbuster” (Tornado Kick). The crowd are cheering as Grace follows up with the “Thunderstruck” (Famea55er).

*Grace heads to the referee to revive him and then heads back to Reborn but is almost decapitated as Ojore makes his return to 6CWF. The crowd are stunned as Ojore delivers a hat-trick of the “World’s Strongest Slam” before draping an unconscious Reborn on top. The referee recovers enough to make the count. The crowd are booing furiously at the result. The commentators are talking about how Ojore is a “game-changer” and a real “insurance policy” for Robin Reborn as it seems the “Wolf Gang” are re-uniting here in 6CWF.

*Ojore drags Reborn from the ring and slings him on his shoulder as the boos continue to rain down. A very battle worn Anthony Grace is slumped against the ropes, looking disappointed at what has gone down, as Ojore and Reborn stand on the stage now and stare down at him. Reborn, despite being semi-conscious, is full of bravado once more as though he just did all the hard work. He puts in his golden “grill” and smirks at the camera. “Done told y’all….pieced this fool up, ain’t got nuttin on me…..we done”. JT isn’t sure Anthony Grace will accept that “we done” after everything Reborn has said and done, however, RJ is concerned that with Ojore now back in the mix that Grace should tread very carefully.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:44 pm

*Eddy Kent is ready for an interview with Clarissa but he suddenly stops and there is a staredown between himself and Alex Walker/Clarke James. The rest of Genesis arrive and stand behind Kent. Walker inclines his head to Kent before he and CJ walk away. Clarissa is still ready for the interview but Kent shakes his head at her and leads Genesis to their dressing room.

*The commentators inform us that Uryu Ishida still hasn't arrived at the building (is he ok after Born in Fire?) before we get a shot of Christy James sitting in "The Family" dressing room with the "maidens". Christy is having her hair brushed but still doesn't look fully immersed in her decision. She looks down and rubs her bump and takes a deep breath before raising her head and smiling at her helpers.

*Miss Jessica is making it clear to Jerome Dubois that he is on his last warning and she will not tolerate any more losses or she will cut him like she did Cassidy. Dubois snaps, however, and blows up. He tells Jessica that he doesn't need her and they are through. He had success before her and he will have success after her. Jessica looks scandalised and says Dubois will rue this decision when she leads someone else to "Glory". Dubois just dismisses her and she leaves.

*Hollywood and Primetime have returned to 6CWF as cameramen. The former Trash TV'ers are getting settled into their new job roles when they are attacked by Cassidy (still furious with the disrespect earlier tonight and missing out on Born in Fire). He rips one of the cameras from Hollywood and breaks it across his head before he drags Primetime up and then nails a fisherman's DDT onto a stack of crates. Cassidy looks on the verge of a breakdown as he stares at his victims and then walks off.

*Daniel Reilly says the "King of Europe" is on the verge of a full blown takeover of 6CWF and it is time his talent was recognised. He says tonight he will be victorious and will earn the #30 spot on January 30th before winning the "Gateway to Glory". Reilly says it has been over a decade since he headlined Night of Glory but the time has come to put himself back on top of the mountain. Mike Hill interrupts. Hill says Reilly talks a big game but he doesn't believe he can back it up (reminding him that the only reason he has the European Championship is because Hill gave it up). Reilly feigns that he doesn't even know who Hill is but promises he will know who Reilly is by time their match is over here tonight. Hill smirks and says "We'll see".

*Xanthi Rose is trying to get in to see Rex Adamson but security prevent her from entering the "Genesis" dressing room. Eddy Kent comes out and he smiles at Xanthi but tells her "Rex is with his real family now, we look out for him". Xanthi glares at Kent before walking away.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:45 pm

Bout 5
Winner progresses to "Fight for #30" Finale
Daniel Reilly vs Jerome Dubois vs Mike Hill vs Uryu Ishida

*The commentators are talking up how Uryu still hasn’t showed at the arena and wonder whether he will even be here tonight. Jerome Dubois is the first to enter proceedings as we get a recap on his “breakup” with Miss Jessica. JT wonders what the future now holds for Jerome Dubois. RJ says headlining at “Night of Glory” (6CW’s biggest event) will be his priority no doubt and winning tonight’s match will give him a fantastic opportunity of making that happen.

*Mike Hill is next to enter, his ribs heavily bandaged, as we get a recap on the “Hardcore Hell” match and everything he went through. Dubois is eyeing Hill with malevolence. Daniel Reilly then enters proceedings with Oliver Keane by his side. Reilly is parading the European Championship as he tells the camera “King of Europe, soon to be the King of this whole damn place”. Reilly strides to the ring and slithers in, staring at the other two superstars.

*We await Uryu’s arrival but he is not forthcoming and it seems we have a triple threat contest instead. The referee has words with all three before he signals for the bell to get the action underway. Dubois and Reilly step to one another but then Dubois rounds and lands a brutal kick to the ribs of Hill. Reilly smirks as he lands a hard European uppercut and then they whip Hill off the ropes and launch him into a huge double backdrop. Hill staggers up and they launch him from the ring.

*Dubois turns and Reilly tries to surprise him with an “RKO” but Dubois counters into a backslide for a two count. They scramble up and Dubois sidesteps and sends Reilly off the ropes before dropping him with a spinebuster. He looks for a single legged Boston crab but Reilly grabs his trunks and rolls him up for another two. Reilly gets up and attempts a leapfrog but Dubois catches him. The Frenchmen looks for the “Garlic Bomb” but Reilly counters into hurricanrana. He rolls through and grabs Dubs’ ankle for the submission. Dubois rolls forward and sends Reilly into the turnbuckle before getting back up and nails a Saito suplex for a two count.

*Dubois heads up the ropes and he lands a missile dropkick. He performs a jig and then drops an elbow for a two count. He beckons Reilly up and attempts the “Go Flasher” but Reilly floats over the back and nails an invertead headlock backbreaker. Reilly heads up top and scores with the frogsplash but Hill breaks it up with a 450 splash (hurting his ribs in the process). Hill nails an inverted atomic drop and follows up with a spinning heel kick. He springboards off the ropes into a lionsault but Reilly kicks out.

*Hill sets for the “Over the Hill” but Reilly stands firm and slams punches into the back before lifting him into a back suplex and then dumps him onto the ropes, crotch first. Reilly leaps up and he dropkicks Hill to the outside. He then clambers up and Dubois runs through him with the “French Connection” spear but Reilly kicks out once again.

*Dubois looks for the “Culture Shock” but Reilly fights off and then lands a kick to the gut and flips his opponent into a fallout neckbreaker for a nearfall. Dubois rolls out on the apron and Reilly drags him back through the ropes for a hangman’s DDT but Dubois steps off the ropes and then nails an inverted STO across the middle ropes. He pulls Reilly into the middle of the ring and snaps him down with a DDT for a close call.

*Keane is shouting words of encouragement from the outside. Dubois is signalling the end but Hill springboards back in with a dropkick to the back which sends him into a head-on collision with Reilly. The European Champion falls from the ring as Hill rolls Dubois up for a two count. Dubois looks for a quick stomp to the gut as they rise but Hill catches his foot and connects with a stepover heel kick. He then grabs Dubois’ legs and turns him into a liontamer. Dubois is yelling in pain and struggling as he tries to get to the ropes. It looks as though the Frenchmen may be about to quit but then he reaches the ropes at the final moment. Hill stomps on him and drags him away from the ropes before heading for the corner. He looks for the “Next Big Move” but Reilly is up and shoves Hill off the turnbuckle to the outside.

*Reilly slithers into the ring now and stalks for the RKO but Dubois catches him and counters into the “Au Revoir” (Sitout slam) for a two count. Dubois stumbles up and he yells at Reilly to rise before pulling him in for the “Culture Shock” but Reilly drops out front and smashes a European uppercut under his chin. Dubois staggers into the ropes but then roars forward for a lariat. Reilly ducks it and then nails a spinning powerslam. Dubois rolls for the apron again but this time Reilly drags him through and does score with the hangman’s DDT. Keane is clapping but Hill planchas back in to break it up.

*Reilly tries to rush Hill but he drops and pulls down the top rope so Reilly flies over the top onto the apron. Hill then climbs onto the turnbuckle and wows the audience as he dives off with a hurricanrana from the apron to the outside. Hill is hurting but he manages to drag himself up and back in the ring. Dubois is slowly rising as Hill runs in behind him and sets him down with a one-handed bulldog. Hill nails a standing shooting star and then a standing moonsault before heading to the corner. He signals to the audience and then launches off for the “Next Big Move” but Dubois moves at the final second.

*Dubois is up and he quickly smashes Hill into the canvass for the “Culture Shock” and covers but Oliver Keane places Hill’s foot on the ropes to keep the match alive. Dubois is angry as he rolls out to confront Keane but the agent runs away. Dubois clambers back in and he drags Hill up. He looks for the “Go Flasher” now but Hill counters in midair with a sensational tornado DDT. Hill then grabs Dubois’ head and he runs to the corner and uses the turnbuckle to assist with the “Over The Hill”.

*Hill is just about to make the cover when Reilly dives in from nowhere and smashes Hill in the back of the head with the European Championship belt (No DQs in a triple threat) to send him to the outside. He then ushers Dubois up and nails an RKO for the three count.

*Oliver Keane returns down the aisle and is gleeful as Reilly is declared the winner and will advance to the final of the “Fight for #30”. Reilly parades with his championship and then leaves the ring with Oliver Keane. The commentators talk about Reilly’s continued run of success and JT believes him a real darkhorse for the “Gateway to Glory” match. RJ believes the injuries sustained during “Hardcore Hell” for Mike Hill and Jerome Dubois were their undoing tonight and questions if any of them should have been medically cleared. They then debate on the whereabouts of Uryu Ishida as Reilly continues to celebrate.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:54 pm

*Edward Plague and Gazzy have returned to the dressing room. Christy is welcoming and she smiles at Plague, who bows to her. Plague gives a small sermon about "family" and how "united we are stronger than ever". Plague says now they have the world title it is time to start spreading the word far and wide. He says he will be returning to in-ring action from next week as they build on the foundations of what they have already achieved. Gazzy says Christy is tired so he wants to take her back to the "compound". Plague bids them farewell and allows Christy to kiss his hand before he hugs Gazzy. There is a long moment before Plague straps the 6CW Championship around Christy's bump (she forces a smile at this). Gazzy and Christy walk out into the corridor and Blue Dragon is standing there. He just stands and smiles as Gazzy puts an arm around his wife and leads her outside.

Christy lets out a small gasp as Uryu is sitting on the top of their car. Uryu says he isn't here to fight, not tonight, but he just came to inform Alex Walker and now GazzyD that on January 30th in the Toyko Dome he is exercising his re-match clause for the 6CW Championship. The scene ends with Uryu looking down at Gazzy and Christy.

*Final scene change and Rex Adamson is pumped and ready to go. We see Max Adamson asking Marlon and Xanthi to leave the arena. They look reluctant but Max says he cannot have any distractions and needs to finish this. We switch back to Genesis and Rex is asking Eddy Kent to allow him to go out there alone. Kent looks momentarily unsure but nods his head. Rex goes to each member of Genesis in turn and they hug & touch knuckles before Rex slams his hand against the wall and heads for the Gorilla position. Eddy Kent is watching him leave and then turns to his right and sees Blue Dragon staring at him. There is a long staredown as Dragon smirks at Kent and pats his KTTK title. Kent readjusts the 6WF Championship as the scene ends.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - 10th January 2024

Post by JJJohnson Wed Jan 10, 2024 9:55 pm

Main Event
The Re-Match
Max Adamson vs Rex Adamson

*The intensity levels are at a fever pitch as we head back to ringside for the main event. We have the recap VT on the explosive match between Max and Rex before later that night Rex aligned himself with Genesis. Max Adamson makes his entrance and is met by a thunderous ovation from the audience. Max is in serious mode as he strides down to the ring and climbs in. JT remarks on Max wanting to do this alone tonight and has sent Xanthi and Marlon home so that he can take care of business without any distractions.

*Rex arrives now and there are audible boos from the crowd, as well as some cheers from the Genesis supporters. Rex is wearing a green and black singlet. He heads down to the ring and paces around the outside, building the atmosphere. Rex cricks his neck and then pulls himself up on the apron. We get a shot of Genesis watching from backstage.

*Rex steps through the ropes as the referee works to keep both participants apart. Max barges the referee in the back and he stumbles into Rex, momentarily distracting him, which allows him to fire in with a huge forearm shot to the temple. Max erupts with more punches as Rex tries to cover up in the corner. The referee is forced to grab Max by the waist and he pulls him away from the corner to warn him. Whilst Max is engaging with the referee Rex sprints out and smashes him with a “Gore”. He covers but Max stuns the crowd by kicking out.

*Rex kicks the ropes and he beckons Max up for the “Fire/Thunder” driver but Max drops off the back and shoves him off the ropes. Rex comes back and looks for a second “Gore” but Max throws himself aside as Rex splatters across the canvass. Max quickly follows up with the “FaMaxer” for a two count.

*Rex rolls from the ring now as Max clatters into him from behind and smashes his head off the steel steps. He looks to whip him toward the ringpost but Rex reverses and sends Max’s head against the post. Max stumbles down next to the ringside barrier and Rex destroys him with a running cannonball splash. He launches his Uncle back in the ring. Rex then catapults in with a huge lariat for a two.

*Rex lands vicious headbutts to the back of Max’s neck and then he shoves him back into the ropes and looks for a pop-up powerbomb on the comeback but eats a hard kick to the face. Max looks for a discus lariat but Rex ducks and snaps off a release dragon suplex. Rex heads up top and he walks along the ropes to look for the ‘Lo Down frogsplash but lands across the knees. Max follows up with his own “Gore” now but Rex kicks out.

*Max wants the “Cyclone” but Rex elbows free and drops behind. He lifts Max into an electric chair for “Croyt’s Wrath” but Max jumps out back and nails a hat-trick of German suplexes as the audience go wild. Max goes up high and stuns the crowd with a sensational shooting star headbutt. He knocks himself loopy off of the impact and takes awhile to cover which allows Rex to kick out.

*Max sets for another “Gore” but he runs straight into a huge AA spinebuster from his nephew. Rex drags Max up and he hits a double powerbomb before pulling him up again and shoves him into the ropes for a pop-up powerbomb. He nods his head as the commentators commend his strength but once more Max kicks out.

*Rex is shaking his head in annoyance now. He grabs Max’s legs for the “stretch muffler” but Max kicks away at his head until he releases. Max looks for a splash in the corner but Rex sidesteps and sends him against the turnbuckle. Rex does lift Max again into the electric chair and this time scores with “Croyt’s Wrath” (dropout into a capture German suplex) for a very nearfall.

*Rex beckons Max up and tries to bench him but Max falls behind and nails a big forearm to the back of the neck before shoving his nephew to the corner. He runs in and lands with the monkey flip but Rex flips out onto his feet (a hark back to the finish at Born in Fire). Rex runs the ropes for the “Gore” but this time Max is ready and ducks into him before nailing the “Cyclone”. Everyone believes the match is over but Rex is too close to the ropes and is able to reach them with his hand.

*Max is exasperated at his mistake as Rex rolls to the outside again. Max follows and he smashes Rex’s head off the announce desks (all three in turn) before he tries to lift him onto his shoulders. Rex fights off and shoves Max away. He runs at him for a spear but Max sidesteps and Rex runs through the steel steps. Max drags Rex around and he delivers a huge “Cyclone” now which smashes Rex through the “Spanish” announce desk. Max sits for a good moment and just stares at the demolition of his family member before eventually he drags him up and dumps him back in the ring.

*Max rolls in now and he stalks Rex before preparing to run out for the “Gore” but Tyler Roth pulls the referee from the ring and knocks him clean out with a huge right hand. Michael Sweetwater jumps on the opposite side of the ring as Max runs over and knocks him off. Rex is back up now and attempts a blindsided “Gore” but Max sidesteps and sends him crashing against the corner. Max scoops Rex up and turns for the “Cyclone” but eats a huge “Genesis Kick” from Eddy Kent.

*Genesis are on the full blown attack now as the show is drawing to a close. Tyler Roth nails “The Reaping” (back suplex into a powerbomb) before Sweetwater leaps from the top rope and smashes down on Max with the “Six Feet Deep” (double foot stomp). Eddy Kent looks to Rex now before, amazingly, offering him the 6WF Championship belt. Rex looks at the gold and then realises what Kent wants him to do and he takes a moment. Max looks up at his nephew and raises a hand, almost pleading, before Rex takes a deep breath and smashes it into Max’s head. Rex drops and lands brutal punches to further open the wound on Max’s head as Kent, Roth and Sweetwater smile. Roth gets a table now and they set it up, vertically in the corner. Rex crouches in the opposite corner and waits for Max to rise before he nails the “Gore” straight through the wood, leaving Max brutalised and bloody.

*The show ends as Rex rejoins the rest of Genesis and raise their arms in the centre of the ring as the commentators believe the Adamson Civil War to be over.
