6CW Proving Grounds Results June 12th (Scars and Stripes Go Home)

*The show starts with a recap of last week with the final attack on Marty Helms at the hands of James McManus, Jimmy Phillips and Ricky Nelson. We go live to Miss Jessica’s office where she is joined by her new found allies. They are congratulating one another on their efforts but Miss Jessica wants them to focus. She tells McManus that he needs to wait a little longer as the Board have granted Helms another hour of examinations before deciding on his medical clearance. McManus doesn’t look happy but Jessica says if Helms isn’t cleared then he forfeits and McManus goes on to Scars and Stripes. Jessica says once they have destroyed all those who oppose them they can seize total control of 6CW. Jessica says they’ll build her statue out front and she’d like to see anyone try and tear it down.

*Jackson Jackson heads out to the ring and he wants to talk about how it’s been such a quiet month for the 6CW Champion but at Scars and Stripes he’ll put on a show against whoever the #1 Contender is and prove once again why he is at the top of the mountain. Crime Lord interrupts and he trades insults with Jackson and how he was lucky to escape the last time he met but once Crime Lord wins the RTR then Jackson will have nowhere to hide. Karl Kramer then enters the arena and he talks down Crime Lord’s chances of RTR but he does inform Jackson that he’ll be gunning for the 6CW Championship. Jackson jokes that King Karl Kramer and the term “gunning” probably aren’t going to go down too well in the current climate and that he can expect a social media petition soon enough.

Marshall Murdoch is then out at ringside and he says it’s cute that everyone out here actually believes they have a chance of winning RTR when the competition is a foregone conclusion. Marshall says he’s never had a one on one opportunity at any world title but when the time comes all he’ll need is one shot. Jackson once again jokes that maybe they should tone down the gun jokes. Marshall admits he has respect for Jackson as a world champion and compares their rises from tag team stars to main eventers. Marshall says respect only goes so far though and despite the fact they run in similar circles he will not hesitate to kick Jackson’s head off his shoulders.

Dicey then makes his entrance. He says it’s going to be an honour to call himself “King” of 6CW after winning RTR and he is looking forward to challenging Jackson Jackson for the World Championship. Dicey talks about how he’s seen it all in 6CW and he truly does respect what Jackson has achieved but he feels he still has one more run in him as the champion so he’ll do whatever he has to in order to make that a reality.

Jackson welcomes the challenge of all four men but informs them that the outcome will be the same no matter who wins RTR. Jackson tells them that they may call themselves “King” but in reality the only royalty that matters is the man that holds the gold and no fake crown can change that. Jackson says there’s only one “King” and you’re looking at him so when you come looking, you better not miss!

*The commentary team hype up the possibility of Jackson Jackson against any four of the RTR competitors as the world champion climbs from the ring. We then learn that the fatal four way match is going on first as we await Marty Helms’ clearance results.

*Kramer and Crime Lord go head to head and argue, which allows Dicey to nail Crime Lord with a brogue kick and Marshall nails Kramer with a running dropkick.

*Dicey and Marshall then spend the next few minutes trading control of the match until Murdoch catches Reilly off the ropes with a sidewalk slam. Marshall looks for a vertical suplex afterward but Dicey floats over the back and locks in a crossface chicken-wing.

*Marshall scrambles out and applies an anklelock but then Kramer returns with a running shoulder block that sends his rival from the ring. Kramer benches Dicey and drops him into a modified spear for a two count. Kramer sets up for the “Cannonball Run” but runs straight into a spinebuster from Crime Lord.

*Crime Lord powerbombs Dicey into the turnbuckle and then lifts him for an F-5 but Dicey fights off and sets for the “Craicdown” but Crime Lord backdrops him over the ropes. Crime Lord turns into a “Karnage” spinebuster from Kramer but then Marshall drags KK from the ring and throws him into his uncle. Marshall clambers back in but only gets a two count on Crime Lord

*Marshall sets up for “Marshall Law” but Crime Lord ducks and connects with a hat-trick of German suplexes. Crime Lord then attempts the “Lock n Load” but Marshall scrambles off and nails a backstabber. Marshall beckons Crime Lord up and drags him into a coquina clutch but Dicey reappears from behind with a neckbreaker to break the hold. Dicey clotheslines Marshall to the outside and then climbs the ropes for a double axe handle on Crime Lord. Dicey beckons Crime Lord up for the finish but then Charles Kramer gets up on the apron for the distraction.

*Dicey confronts CK and it allows KK to return to the ring, almost decapitating Dicey with the “Cannonball Run” as he turns around. The three count looks imminent but Marshall places Dicey’s foot on the ropes from the outside. Marshall clambers back in and brawls with Kramer. Kramer picks Marshall up for a Death Valley Driver but Marshall elbows his way free and then nails a codebreaker for a two count.

*Marshall backs up in the corner for the “Drive By” knee but he runs straight into a “Karnage” from Kramer. Crime Lord is back up and he scoops KK for the “Lock n Load” but Kramer fights off and pushes Crime Lord into Dicey, who kicks him in the gut and nails the “Craicdown”. Dicey looks for the cover but Kramer drags him off and covers himself only for Dicey to break the count before the three.

*Dicey and Kramer go to war now and Dicey looks for a flying forearm smash on the run but Kramer catches him. Kramer nails three rib-breakers and then a huge fall away slam. He drags Dicey up and nails him with the “Karnage”. The commentators talk up Kramer hitting that move on all three opponents and then he follows up with the “Cannonball Run” on Reilly. Kramer makes the cover as his uncle looks on gleefully but Marshall dives into the picture with the last second save

*Marshall and Kramer now fight and Marshall gets the upper hand with a t-bone suplex. CK gets onto the apron for a distraction but Murdoch levels him with a big right hand. Kramer is able to recover and he crushes Murdoch in the corner with a running splash.

*Backstage and Clarke James is shown getting ready. Perfect Jack enters the room to wish him luck. They reminisce on their run as a tag team and Jack assures CJ he’ll have his back if anything go awry and CJ agrees to the same.

*Liam Wood is being interviewed by Fleur Michaels. Wood says he can’t wait to get his hands on Robin Reborn but he just wishes his rival was man enough to face him alone with no backup so that they can truly prove who the better man really is. Wood says he’ll send a message tonight to the whole damn Wolf Gang about who the Alpha truly is because he can bite a damn sight worse than bark.

Uryu then interrupts and he and Wood stare at one another for a few moments. Uryu admits it isn’t easy to trust a man like Wood but right now perhaps they need to push their differences aside in order to combat a common enemy. Uryu apologies that he hasn’t tried to aid Wood in his fight with the Wolf Gang. Wood tells Uryu that they can work together but they aren’t allies and they aren’t friends. Wood says if the opportunity comes up to take the UK Championship away from Uryu then he won’t hesitate, Uryu smiles and walks away.

*Robin Reborn delivers a sermon running down Uryu Ishida, Liam Wood and Clarke James as well as anyone who opposes the Wolf Gang. Reborn talks up the BLM protests and oppression and that he knows exactly how that feels within professional wrestling as men like them have always been kept down by the “man”. Reborn talks about the metaphorical knee on the back but that they are ready to rise up and claim what belongs to them. Reborn says by any means necessary they will make people wake up and take notice. They promise to takeover in a trail of fire and blood

*Dicey Reilly is backstage following his victory and talking to Christy James. Dicey says he doesn’t care that he may be the “favourite” to win RTR because it’s about what happens at Scars and Stripes and that is where he now needs to turn his focus. Dante Phoenix walks past and congratulates Dicey on his victory. Christy tries to ask Dicey about Dante’s issues with Miss Jessica but Reilly merely reiterates that he will not allow anyone to put 6CW in jeopardy so if Phoenix needs his support then he can count on it, Dicey promises that Miss Jessica cannot and will not destroy this company.

*The Wolf Gang all take one knee on the walkway to honour BLM before entering the ring. The commentators pay tribute to the Black community and the part they’ve played in professional wrestling.

*Clarke James then enters the fray and we get a detailed look at his career in 6CW/6WF before Liam Wood and Uryu join him. Uryu is looking worse for wear and the commentary team talk about injuries sustained by both he and Wood in recent weeks at the hands of their opponents

*Reborn stands centre ring and attempts to deliver a sermon but Wood drops him with a heavy right hand. Wood whips him off the ropes and quickly attempts the “World Eater” but Reborn counters in midair with a dropkick. Wood gets up in the corner and Reborn nails him with a helluva kick before dragging him to the centre ring. Reborn attempts “God’s Angel” (Wing Clipper) but Wood pushes him away and then turns him inside out with a clothesline. Wood builds some momentum but then Ojore attacks him from behind and launches him from the ring. Uryu delivers a missile dropkick on Ojore but the distraction allows Drake to spear Wood into the steel steps on the outside. Clarke James initiates a fight with Drake as the referee tries to get control of the match once more

*Ojore bench presses Uryu and throws him over the ropes onto CJ before waiting for Wood to be thrown back into the ring by Drake. Ojore takes over from Reborn as he whips Wood off the ropes and crushes him with a Samoan drop for a two count. Ojore drags Wood to the corner and looks for a “Banzai” drop off the ropes but Wood is able to stand and lands a very borderline punch to wind the Ugandan. Wood is able to climb behind Ojore on the ropes and delivers a modified legsweep but only gets a one before Ojore powers out. Wood reluctantly tags Uryu in.

*Uryu again goes high and he dives off with a flying knee to Ojore’s temple and then runs the ropes for a low flying dropkick to the knees. Ojore drops down on all fours and then Uryu runs the ropes again before diving into a spinning DDT on the big man, once again only registering a one count. Uryu grabs the arm of Ojore and tries to work him into the armbar but Ojore just throws him away with ease. Uryu ducks a huge right hand and then springboards onto the ropes but merely dives back into a sickening headbutt to the chest. Ojore then lands a devastating scooped powerslam (ala Mark Henry) but Clarke James breaks the count before the three

*Drake takes over from Ojore and they whip Uryu off the ropes before connecting with a double spinebuster. Drake then backs up in the corner and sets for the spear but CJ spins him around and drops him across the top rope. Clarke James quickly jumps into the ring and delivers “Faithless” before the referee can intervene. Reborn is screaming at the referee to do more as both Drake and Uryu look to make a tag.

*Clarke James and Reborn get the respective tags and Reborn looks for a springboard moonsault takedown after ducking a clothesline but CJ sidesteps the impact before flattening Reborn with a discus clothesline as he lands. Reborn staggers back up into an atomic drop before James spins him around and plants him with a spinebuster for a close two. CJ motions Reborn up for “Faithless” but Reborn elbows his way free and then lands a step-up enzeguiri. Reborn rolls out onto the apron for the “God’s Powerful Wrath” (Springboard forearm) but Wood drags him down to the outside from nowhere and hits a reverse swinging STO on the concrete.

*Wood throws Reborn back in the ring and then slaps CJ’s back to get the tag. Wood nails a lungblower on Reborn and then nails a flying elbow drop from the top rope. He motions for the “Manson Driver” but then Drake and Ojore drag him from the ring. Uryu leaps from on high with a crossbody takedown on Ojore before Clarke James uses the steel steps to boost himself through the air for a solo poetry in motion, only for Drake to catch him. Drake spins around and hauls CJ against the ringside barrier before attempting to spear him through it but CJ sidesteps and sends Drake crashing through into the fan area.

*Wood and Uryu both nod in understanding of one another as they double team Ojore, forcing him toward the announce area. Wood drives relentless and thunderous forearms into the big man’s head until he slumps across the table. Uryu then points toward the top rope and Wood nods his head in agreement. Reborn then launches himself over the ropes with a senton splash on Wood. Reborn drags Wood up and throws him into the ring….

*Charles Kramer enters Miss Jessica’s office and he is smiling as he sits on her desk. Jessica tells him to leave but CK puts a piece of paper on her desk. Jessica looks at it and then bursts out laughing. Kramer says it isn’t a laughing matter and he’s deadly serious but Jessica tears the paper up in front of him and says over her dead body will she ever sign control over to Kramer. Kramer shakes his head in mock disappointment before telling Jessica that she must be feeling the walls closing in on her by now, it’s only a matter of time until Phoenix spills the beans and she’s exposed to the world. Jessica’s eyes narrow and she demands to know what Dante has said to him but Kramer winks at her and leaves, telling her she had her chance.

*Clarke James is interviewed by Travis Sharp and says it was good to finally get back out there but it has left him wanting more. Marshall Murdoch intervenes and congratulates CJ and then Perfect Jack and finally Jackson Jackson are there. There is some tension between Murdoch and Jackson but all four men agree to some socially distanced beers after the show. Marshall eyes up the 6CW Championship and Jackson makes sure to adjust it on his shoulder before Travis Sharp informs CJ that he and Drake has been signed for Scars and Stripes.

*Ricky Nelson and Jimmy Phillips are getting ready for the tag match whilst James McManus is looking in the mirror and declaring himself the “new” world champion. All three men break out in an argument about who should really be getting the title shot. Mike Hill calms the situation down and says all three men are getting great opportunities by working with Miss Jessica and that the most important thing is dominating as a collective. Phillips leaves the room and so does McManus. Hill assures Nelson that his time at the world title will come and that his protégé should trust him because he wouldn’t let him be screwed over.

*We get a brief look at Miss Jessica in her office and she looks in a venomous mood as she talks to someone in the shadows. Jessica says it’s time to step things up.

*PJ starts off firing on all cylinders by delivering a series of suplexes on both Nelson and Phillips, stopping them from building any momentum. He ploughs Nelson with a “Perfect” slam but Mike Hill places his protégé’s foot on the rope before the three

*Phoenix is tagged in and he goes high with a meteora and then he nails a running “V” trigger knee for a two count. Dante lines up for “Dante’s Peak” but Hill provides a distraction that allows Phillips to attack from behind and nail a full nelson bomb

*Phillips is tagged in and he whips Phoenix into the corner with real force and then nails a running shoulder thrust/spear to the gut. He lifts Phoenix onto the ropes and nails a muscle buster for a two count. Phillips beckons Phoenix up for the “Touchdown” but Dante elbows free and springboards onto the ropes, only for Nelson to land a right hand. Phillips takes advantage with an “F-U” for a two count

*Phillips tries to apply a coquina clutch but Phoenix battles free. They scramble up and Phoenix looks for a leapfrog but Phillips catches him for a powerbomb. Phoenix spins around back and counters with a poisonrana. Phoenix looks for the tag but Nelson drags PJ off the apron and slams him into the steel steps. Nelson then springboards in with a dropkick to the back of Phoenix’ head. Phillips recovers and nails a “dominator” powerbomb before tagging Nelson back in.

*Nelson climbs high and nails a big legdrop from the top but only manages a two count. He ushers Phoenix up and attempts the “Rapid Fire” but Phoenix knees his way to freedom and then nails a disaster kick off the ropes. Nelson stumbles back up into a “downward spiral” but Phillips breaks the count before a three. Phillips launches Phoenix off the ropes and plants him with a pop-up powerbomb before the referee can intervene

*Nelson recovers and nails a lionsault for a two count and then he connects with a trifecta of suplexes. He heads for the corner and climbs high before launching himself into the “new next big move” only for Phoenix to drive his knees up. This time Dante is able to get across and make the tag to PJ before anyone can stop him

*PJ storms the ring and takes control once again with a hat-trick of German suplexes on Jimmy Phillips. PJ vertically suplexes Nelson into the air and then releases him into a neckbreaker whilst in midair. Jack throws Nelson to the outside and then beckons Phillips up into a “Perfect” slam but JP jumps out back and runs the ropes for the “Game Change” only for Jack to duck it and then hits the “Perfect Plex”. The three count seems foregone but Mike Hill distracts the referee

*Dante Phoenix runs along the apron and dives off into a hurricanrana that sends Hill flying over the railings into the fan area. This distraction allows Ricky Nelson to connect with “Rapid Fire” on Jack whilst he was trying to apply the figure four on Phillips. The referee finally turns around to make the count but amazingly Jack kicks out.

*Phillips argues with the official and then looks to hit the “Touchdown” on Jack but PJ fights free and scores with an overhead belly to belly. Jack goes to the corner and climbs high but Nelson swipes his legs before taking the tag from Phillips. Nelson climbs in and nails a top rope hurricanrana for a nearfall. Nelson attempts to hit another “Rapid Fire” on Jack but it is countered into a northern lights suplex for a two. They scramble back up and Jack whips Nelson off the ropes but he flies back for a headscissors takedown….

*The commentary team go through the card for Scars and Stripes and then announce that the semi-finals of the RTR have been announced with Dicey Reilly vs Crime Lord and Karl Kramer vs Marshall Murdoch.

*Marshall Murdoch is then interviewed by Fleur Michaels and he’s excited to renew hostilities with the Kramer Klan. Murdoch says he’ll never get tired of kicking Kramer’s head and it’ll be all the more sweeter en route to winning RTR and then the 6CW Championship. Fleur asks about a potential Church reunion but Murdoch says he burned the “Church” down and that he’s on a new path now. CJ will always be his “brother” but this is a new era and it ends with him being 6CW Champion.

Charles and Karl Kramer are shown watching Murdoch’s interview and CK laughs off Murdoch’s arrogance. CK says there won’t be anyone to help Marshall fluke a victory this time and KK is the fastest rising star in wrestling today, nothing can stop him. KK asks about the “Phoenix business” but CK says all in good time

*The scene changes and Dante Phoenix is ranting to Christy James. Phoenix promises to leave Ricky Nelson a broken mess at Scars and Stripes and whoever was wearing the mask he dares them to turn up as well because there’s enough wrath for everyone. Phoenix says once he retrieves that folder from the top of the ladder at Scars and Stripes he is blowing this whole thing wide open and exposing Jessica for what she really is.

*James McManus is talking to Travis Sharp and he is ready to go out there and be declared #1 Contender to the 6CW Championship because it’s clear that Marty Helms isn’t man enough to show up and face him. McManus says he would have ended Helms for good but then on a monitor they see a car pull up outside and Marty Helms climbs out, his leg heavily strapped. Fleur Michaels is there and Helms says he has full clearance and that he’s ready to put McManus in a grave beside Cerberus and every other sorry SOB who has ever crossed him. After that he’s going to celebrate by winning the 6CW Championship and then burning Miss Jessica alive in the ring at the PPV. McManus is shown looking surprised by Helms’ arrival but then seems to steel himself as he heads for ringside.

*Jackson Jackson is polishing his championship and then turns around to see Miss Jessica standing in the doorway. Jessica tries to sweet talk Jackson but the champion laughs her off and says he isn’t interested, joking that he caught enough STI’s whilst partying with CJ/PJ. Jessica applauds a “memorable” championship reign but says that Jackson’s disrespect has brought that to an end at Scars and Stripes. Jackson is all smiles and says that if McManus is the best she can offer then he’s not going to lose any sleep. Jessica tells Jackson that this is her company and she’s decided she doesn’t want him as the face anymore…..and what she wants, she always gets.

Jackson welcomes any challenge she has but warns her that she is spreading herself very thin in this war and making an enemy of him is a very poor choice on her part. Jackson says he is going to watch the main event and leaves the room. Jessica sulks for a moment but then a grin crosses her face as we head back to ringside.
