Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
There's a weightlifting thread that hasn't been doing so well lately - used to be a real hot spot for homo-erotic tales of "feeling the pump", squat thrusts and the best smelling man in the changing rooms.
Am sure Truss once put up an article called "Sex and the Committed Bodybuilder".

Hopefully sciatica, otherwise we haven't acted F.A.S.T. enough.

Shame, he could be a stone cold atrocity of a man at times, but I used to enjoy his posts a lot of the time, and the sparring with SERIAL was great viewing.

Truss seemed to be having some real life issues which were being played out on here on a regular basis. It is sad to see anyone leaving the forums but he was becoming problematic.

I didn't really go back to the boxing boards after the trolls effectively took over from Windy and Chris, so I missed it all, he was a strange fish right enough.

He also had about a 20 aliases (or should it be aliasi?) on the go at one point. Am sure there was one point when Truss was arguing with and being abusive towards an alias of his. A troubled mind.

I had a quick look in my message page earlier, and the majority of messages are with you, shah, Jeff, Tino et al. trying to work out who's aliases were who, good fun.

I had enormous fun exposing Coxy and his aliases. Felt almost guilty forcing him into a mental breakdown though.
Busted Lumbering Jack a couple of times as well.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
The weirdest one was where Manos was outed as having an alias who was a totally useless WUM. Really odd because Manos was a fairly normal but relentlessly straight-laced and sometimes fairly dull poster. Having that alias suggests serial killer tendencies.
Just remembered archbritishchris who could only argue boxing based on lists taken from boxrec but acted all pompous like he was some great oracle. Think he was finished on here when he sided with D4 and suggested that a boxer wrapping his hands in plaster cast was actually safer as he'd knock his opponent out quicker.

I suppose one definition of 'cool' is the ability to get away with random statements like that without being thought to be a 'pr!ck'. Just goes to show what a fine line there is between the two states.

Wingrove is one of Galted's old mates.
He specialises in removals. Normally of limbs but occasionally of whole people.
I suspect he isn't real and is a figment of Galted's overactive imagination. Just like Galtova is.

Do you deliberately get this wrong? It was Jeff/Geoff's mum who mated with Westlife. The dog was incidental.

Wingrove, like Galtova, is a real person who is not well in the head.
He had (possibly still has, assuming he's alive and hasn't gotten fat) the ability to hold onto a lamppost perpendicularly and rotate using the lamppost as an axis. I possibly haven't explained that well. He also bit off and ate the head of a pigeon for no reason and, for a dare, bit off and swallowed a chunk of sheep's heart (or lung) in biology class.

Galted, what ever happened to Tophat?
He was on a fitness drive wasn't he? Then abruptly disappeared off the face of the forum.
He'd probably be able to hang perpendicular to a lamp post and then rotate about its axis; parallel to the ground plane... if he's still around.

Only because his weight would have caused the lamp post to bend 90 degrees from the vertical.

Those idiots in northern Israel at that religious bonfire festival. Can't believe the organisers allowed such a dangerous choke point with such flimsy and dangerous 'construction' materials... did anyone see those sharp metal panels? Also those hundreds of people bouncing up and down on those shoddy looking temporary grandstands like nutty Boca Junior supporters. Surely another tragic accident waiting to happen? Looks like fun though.
I'm just about over all of these silly religious rights and freedoms.
Just give us a good old perpendicular Gothic cathedral with a cluster of mummified corpses down in the crypt and a few old bones here and there in some of the niches. No bloody silly dancing and carrying on in there... just some silence, fear, awe and enlightenment. Makes a lot more sense to me.
I was going to post this in the That Really Grinds my Gears thread but thought it would be better here.

Further analysis leads me to believe that it's DAVE, usage of pseudonyms with regards to serial killers is quite common though these are normally applied by the press or the general public. The Boston Strangler, the Green River Killer and the Mad Butcher of the Kingsbury Run weren't their real names.

A good weekend, it was.
(That's enough May the 4th Yoda-speak, Ed.)
The problem with Bank Holidays, or any holidays, is that I am increasingly reluctant to return to any form of work.
I blame Galted for 'momfluencer'. C*nt.

Mrs Windows bought some cook book called "Pinch of Nom" which sounds like it came straight from Mumsnet. F*cking stupid name. I've never actually opened it but the very sight of it irritates me intensely. I'm going to set fire to it one day.
I can pretty much guarantee she has never cooked a single thing from it either.
