Remembering a time when it was funny to laugh at Sean being the victim of sexual abuse.
Every once in a while, Sean could be very amusing -

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Just got off the phone with my Mum.
She's so angry with Kane Williamson... reckons he's weak and "rolls over too easily". Must say I tend to agree.
I tried to alleviate the anger by saying they'll probably have Nicholls, Wagner and maybe even "Henry" back for the next one (same name as my cousin, her nephew, who also happens to be a Kiwi) and she replied: "That's made me feel better already! Someone needs to have a word with Kane and tell him to bowl some spin himself and be more aggressive on the field!"
I totally agreed. Very poor selection and captaincy picking Patel and then bowling him for 2 overs whilst also working the other 3 into the ground with only a 5 day turnaround.
This should be on the cricket thread, I know... but it's already been well covered there.

Anyone would think they aren't the current World Test Champions.
I love your mum, Pee Jay, but she is wrong. He had a bad test, sure, but that doesn't trump everything that has gone before. If we follow that line of thinking, England are currently the best test team in the world.

They've become a bit tedious with their nice-guy offensive. They need to reinvest in the Aussie/Millwall mentality of ten years ago.

He just doesn't seem to show any emotion whatsoever, Tino. I thought he was far too submissive during the World Cup too. Too nice a guy.
Sure, he's in some sort of a form slump with the bat but like Joe Root (with the captaincy before he was replaced) he doesn't seem to be very strategic, take big risks or have that x-factor. Maybe they should give the captaincy to someone with a bit more mongrel in them (if they lose this series) and let him concentrate on his batting more.
Talking of mongrels, the lights are on down the road. Quite cold* (for here) and clear tonight. I'm ready for another Cane Toad Ambush. Some players are in very hot form for Qld but I'm banking on the Panther combinations to get us through the first match. There's about 6 or 7 of them in the team.
Have a feeling things will be harder for the next one in Perth and even more so for the 3rd one in Brisbane. If NSW lose this match, then maybe a comeback of sorts in Perth... only to get walloped at Suncorp in the decider.
* biggest snow dump in June for 34 years down south.
Spot on, Galts. You know exactly what I mean. No need to be nasty.... just show a bit of aggro, ffs!
Kane can start by losing that beard. Looks weak. Friggin' Paddle Pop 'lion'.

I meant NZ having that mentality 10 years ago. Now they're so desperate to be liked.

The angry Kiwi would make a decent old school test captain, if Root winning the test didn't give him an aneurysm.

Is he still there then? Was it Lewis Hamilton he really hated? I know there were a lot of things he hated but seem to remember L-Ham being right up there?
That was before I died though so could be wrong.

He's still there though I haven't seen him for a couple of years due to working from home. His three pet sportsmen hates were/are Lewis Hamilton, Joe Root and Andy Murray. Probably in that order.
His loves are music, cricket, alcohol and the Duchess of Cambridge.

More cut than thrust, though currently trying to sort out a S**t show basically caused by Americans being unable to deal with the bluntness of Israelis, and Israelis unable to navigate the pointless corporate platitudes of Americans.

Historically speaking it usually doesn't end well when the US and Israel settle beef with violence.
But at this point I am willing to give anything a go TBF.

Agree. This place is turning into the fag end of the "Music" section.
Did I tell you guys I'm learning to play the triangle?
Practise is hard... but my teacher reckons if I give it 10 years, I'll be in the percussion section of the SSO if there's not too much heavy competition.
