Just snuck a peek at the AB-Tonga match. Twenty minutes to go and the ABs have put 70+ on Tonga. Totally disrespectful, just kick back and let them have a chance. Practice defense, even. But this mismatch could also be England-USA/Canada.
EDIT: 80+ at 65 minutes.

I’d be surprised if the England match is that much of a blowout. Unlike the ABs, this is a very experimental England side - a lot of combinations that haven’t been tried before. Admittedly the US are missing probably their best 3 or 4 players, which makes it a bit more one sided, but I would expect them to put up more resistance than a depleted Tonga against a near-full strength New Zealand.

Wales 68- Canada 12. This is about what I expect from England-USA. Though I hope the Americans do put up some points.

Re: England v USA - July 4th...USA independence day....
I'm not sure what Heyes did wrong there the USA loosehead folded like a deckchair. Easy try from the kickoff, Malins with a great take.
Randall and Smith just need to adapt and move away from taking chances to playing with certainty. Young lads on debut they'll grow into this.

Good from Malins, but poor from the US winger.

How can the commentators not tell the difference between Heyes and Langdon, the white scrum cap makes it blindingly obvious.

Steward going to have to go off for a HIA here I suspect.
Not a red for me, he was going for the ball.

Irrelevant of whether he gets the ball he grabs Steward in the air and throws him to floor so he lands head first. Incompetent reffing, there has to be a duty of care.

If a female player had her shorts pulled down would the TV company show it over and over?

All the backs are looking good. Slade has been the quietest. Forwards more mixed.
Ludlow almost anonymous. Underhill so much better.

Lawrence is on the left wing with Umaga at 12 and Slade at 13. The midfield isn't quite ticking and Smith has ran down a couple of blind alleys. He needs to stop trying to force things.

I don't really understand Ludlow's place in the squad, I'd be amazed if he ever troubled a full strength EPS.

Its not always easy but the hooker doesn't look like he knows what he's doing either, although his throws have been fine.

6-2 split doesn't work if you pick up injuries to the backs then.

I don't want to go on about it, but this really is daft. What was the need for this bench? Back play is essentially knackered for the rest of the game.

That's where you want Smith, don't force it just take it to the line and use your backs. He has all the skills to find a hole and make the pass. Just back himself and England will score lots.
