Seafront promenade near where we used to live. One child on a bike (5 or 6 maybe, can't remember) The other (2 or 3) in a toy car with pedals and determined to propel themselves. Stuck with the latter whilst watching the former disappear into the distance whilst working out what I was going to tell the wife. 'Memorable' days

Having two kids is too frightening to comprehend.

A spare, there were too many witnesses about.

A 'mate' of mine went to the Bears Paw the other day. He is a southerner but his younger brother has just joined the Cheshire Police force and moved to Helsby.

I've tried to tell my mate how nice the Red Admiral is in Runcorn. That might be on the agenda next time he visits the Motherland. Although it might be his last visit if the Red Addy locals find out his brother is both southern and a rozzer.
