Forgot how slippery lanes are and nearly broke my neck as I charged towards him, then had to make my way down the strip between the lanes shouting abuse at him while he ignored me. When the ball got to the end of the lane he lay down to watch where it went and I managed to grab his ankle and haul him away before he crawled in afterwards.
Child wrangling. Those were the days. How old?

Seafront promenade near where we used to live. One child on a bike (5 or 6 maybe, can't remember) The other (2 or 3) in a toy car with pedals and determined to propel themselves. Stuck with the latter whilst watching the former disappear into the distance whilst working out what I was going to tell the wife. 'Memorable' days
Having two kids is too frightening to comprehend.
I agree.
Don't know how you do it. Dying from time to time must help.

Did he get a strike? Or a spare?
A spare, there were too many witnesses about.

No exciting reason for the absence. Very busy (for non Pandora Papers reasons) for a few weeks and then was on holiday last week.

Yes, at Center Parcs.
I've always found Center Parcs a fertile ground for sex tourism. It is basically a swingers club anyway.

Not sure about fitting. I think that if you don't come forth, you don't come at all, numerically speaking.

We've missed you, riCK. In a non gay way.
A 'mate' of mine went to the Bears Paw the other day. He is a southerner but his younger brother has just joined the Cheshire Police force and moved to Helsby.
I've tried to tell my mate how nice the Red Admiral is in Runcorn. That might be on the agenda next time he visits the Motherland. Although it might be his last visit if the Red Addy locals find out his brother is both southern and a rozzer.

Might be better to tell your mate to make a start at the Festival Way Fish Bar first... then work his way up to the Red Admiral. Just a suggestion.

Love the Bears Paw, and the Bulls Head/Cholmondeley Arms (pronounced Cholmondley) then Netherton Hall.
I'm sure he is going to have fun with all the plastics scallys.

It is a very fine suggestion as well. I reckon you'd be fine in the Fezzy Way chippy, Pee Jay. Big strong Aussie like you. You wouldn't be intimidated at all.

No, I think that's a fair comment. It'll warm up on here once Tino comes back after feeding all the chooks and his reptiles.
Some clever punning on the golf thread from Jules and Galts. It Scot me laughing reading through them all.
Not sure the other regulars can cope with such a high level of witty buffoonery. It's like their safe little place has been hijab'd.
