Re: Premiership Round 17
Chick's offence was 100% red and so bloody unnecessary (should be red simply for that).
I didn't think that Exeter were always driving straight, but our scrum was rubbish anyway, so it is academic.

Was the Exrter TH going down....many people saying he was...and the ref just giving him the pen.
If that's the case that's bad

Well you've said that a few times now...
There was lots to like about that Falcons performance so I wouldn't think many changes would be required for their next game. Perhaps Radwan to come in and offer some of his magic perhaps.
I know I'm boring but it just gets silly,
I know Exeter weren't great...and should have scored more...but we battled....
Will kids make mistakes yes....but they learn.
Why in earth did dean take Kelemeti off for Hodgson...
They certainly battled alright. I mean most DORs would see that as something to build around but Dean hasn't tended towards that view much. Perhaps a grand plan will emerge.
Chiefs had a lot of territory and possession but didn't do a great deal with it. It's not like you can point to a plethora or guilt edge chances or try saving tackles that stopped them. Their game plan had a real lack of imagination and seemed to struggle when Falcons defended the rolling maul so well.

Went back and saw the incident. To me, it was a clear red and not sure what Dean Richards had to complain about. A shoulder to the chops.Cumbrian wrote:Chick's offence was 100% red and so bloody unnecessary (should be red simply for that).

Also agree this should be a 'double red'. One for the actual shoulder to the chin. The other for being brain dead. I don't think Chick has a history or being carded or on-the-hairy-edge kind of play, does he?

Coleman's red card rescinded - are the disciplinary panels finally starting to make sense?
