6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Straight into it this week as Marty Helms interrupts the recap from last week and the 6WF Champion has something to get off of his chest. Helms laid out the gauntlet last week and he’s glad to hear that Tyler Roth, despite trying to wh0re himself out to the UFC, has agreed to meet him in the “Last Man Standing” match at Against The Wall.
But Helms wants to clear something up. There are no misconceptions surrounding him, he enjoys hurting people. He enjoys inflicting damage and pain and he enjoys being the best in the business at that. But Tyler Roth is pretending to be something he isn’t and that just doesn’t sit right with Helms. Roth proclaims himself a noble warrior but Helms wants to take a trip down memory lane to a land that time forgot. Pandemic 6CW….he has a video to play us.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*6CW SCARS AND STRIPES 2020*
*An ambulance is shown in the parking lot of the Emirates Arena. The doors from the main building open and Marty Helms, with the aid of crutches and paramedics, is making his way toward the vehicle. Helms’ knee is in casing and looks in a terrible condition following his bout with Jackson Jackson the subsequent attack by Miss Jessica’s army. Helms is reluctant to accept any kind of help but realises he can’t get into the ambulance without it so he agrees. Helms is shown taking a seat inside and then the doors close. The paramedics climb inside and then an arena security guard raps his knuckles on the side of the ambulance to give them the green line to leave.
*The ambulance sets off and is about to take the ramp that leads up into the main streets of Glasgow when a 4x4 Range Rover crashes right into the side of it, knocking it off course. There is smoke from both vehicles and plenty of commotion as 6CW personnel rush out to offer their assistance. The paramedics have opened the front doors and they stagger out, one bleeding from the side of his head, but then they are ambushed by James McManus and Ricky Nelson. The 6CW security teams then turn and make sure nobody else can get near the ambulance, complicit in the ambush.
*The backdoors of the ambulance open and Marty Helms is shown trying to hobble out but Jimmy Phillips is on hand and he slams one of the doors back against Helms’ head, sending him toppling down onto the floor of the ambulance and cries out in pain. Phillips then pulls the medic out and launches him across the floor. We get a shot of Miss Jessica standing in the midst of security with a cold, calculating grin on her face. Tyler Roth then appears. Phillips closed the doors on the back of the ambulance again as Roth steams into the side of it and begins to rock the vehicle with unnatural strength. He ambulance is swaying as Roth grunts from the effort and then succeeds in tipping the whole thing on its side, landing on the concrete with a sickening roar of impact that echoes through the whole lot. Every member of staff and personnel on site stops dead, shock across their faces, as Miss Jessica begins to laugh and Roth, McManus, Phillips and Nelson all stare at the ambulance with amusement.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Helms wants to point out he doesn’t give a (beep) about fan support or anyone being on his side but he also doesn’t want anyone forgetting what a sadistic, blindsiding piece of (beep) Tyler Roth really is. Helms wants it known that it is Roth that made all of this personal….he tried to end Helms career and the champion doesn’t forget….he doesn’t forgive….and at “Against The Wall” he vows to get even with Tyler Roth.
*Roth comes out on the interruption now. Roth thanks Helms for the footage. Roth says he never ever claimed to be “good” or a “good guy”. He is exactly what he says he is. A hired mercenary with a penchant for fighting and causing serious harm. He says the crowd may cheer him but that’s because he comes out and he delivers action each and every time he is in the ring, not because he is likely to win any awards for his humanitarianism
Roth did try to end Helms career, he hasn’t forgotten. And he did it because someone offered him a giant amount of money to do so. There are no apologies forthcoming and he isn’t going to hide from that fact. But Roth says his 6CWF contract now pays him a “giant amount of money” and it pays him to be the best, which is exactly what he intends on being at the end of “Against the Wall”. Roth applauds Helms’ attempts at sabotaging his image but he doesn’t think the 6CWF Universe give a damn because if it hasn’t sunk in by now….Tyler Roth is a bad man.
Whether it’s attacking people in the back, tipping over ambulances….or smashing faces and breaking bones in the middle of the ring...Tyler Roth delivers….just like he will deliver on his promise to leave Manchester as 6WF World Heavyweight Champion in 12 days time.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Backstage and Cameron Faith and Mike Hill are trading insults ahead of their clash for the European Championship. Hill can’t believe that Faith is still hanging on to employment but promises that his final humiliation is coming at “Against the Wall” and after that 6CWF will see sense and terminate him for good. Faith wants to know what happened last time that Hill thought he was better….Hill is quiet and annoyed now as Kristal saunters into the scene. Hill says he smell the drug addiction and tells Faith to get a good look at his future prospects before walking off.
Kristal is trying to talk to Faith and maybe she was hasty in walking away from him and she talks about how he needs her ahead of his big title match. Faith tells her he’d rather never win a match again then have her near him. Asks why she isn’t trying to ruin Gazzy’s life….she says something about him not arriving yet as Faith leaves her looking sour.
*Cody Walker is doing his stretches and he looks up to see Cassidy standing over him. Cassidy is not happy with Walker and how he stopped the attack on Scott Harris. Walker says he doesn’t stand by and just let things like that happen. But Cassidy smirks now and wonders who will come to Alex Walker’s son’s rescue when his time comes to meet his fate….Walker doesn’t back down and tells Cassidy to try him….suddenly we hear a roar and Rex Adamson is on the prowl for Cassidy, who soon scurries off. Rex just looks at Cody (remembering last week’s attack) and then shakes his head and continues after his foe.
*Drake Cabowers is trying to talk JJ Johnson around ahead of tonight’s “career” match. JJ wants Drake to know that he is the one who made it this way and that had he just come to JJ with the problem, they could have ironed all this out. But JJ doesn’t appreciate anyone going behind his back and tells Drake that there has to be consequences for that kind of (beep).
Drake wants to know who his opponent is but JJ says he’ll have to wait and see, it’s someone looking for a way back in so they’ll be hungry to prove a point and he hopes Drake is ready for the fight of his life.
Drake asks what happens if he wins and JJ tells him he can stick around, wrestle or even continue as Oko’s “goafer” until this whole “stake issue” with Oko is sorted. JJ tells Drake he doesn’t really care because as far as he is concerned, with everything else he has going on, this is Drake’s goddamn mess and he needs to sort it.
JJ wishes Drake luck and tells him he wishes it could have all been different. But you’re gone learn today.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
Bout 1
Rex Adamson vs Cassidy
JT: Cassidy has absolutely no desire to get back in there with Rex Adamson…
RJ: Because he’s hit Rex with some of his very best moves and can’t get the job done…..and now Rex is just as heavily armed as he is….Cassidy doesn’t like a fight unless he has the advantage….
JT: He’s walking away here and that means Rex Adamson is picking up the victory…
The referee’s count reaches ten and the crowd are booing as the referee gives the signal for the bell. Cassidy stands and he points the branding iron in Rex’s direction but stays where he is…
JT: Rex wins but I’m not sure he’s going to be happy….Cassidy has walked away and his chance for revenge has gone up in smoke….
RJ: OR MAYBE NOT!
The crowd cheer as a figure runs out from behind the curtain and we see that it is Cody Walker. Cassidy whips around and aims the branding iron at his head but Walker ducks it and then leaps up and nails a heel kick to the jaw. He quickly grabs Cassidy’s weapon…
JT: Cassidy slapped Cody Walker earlier tonight and we know there have been issues with all three of these relative rookies…
RJ: Cassidy now stuck between a rock and a hard place….where does he go?
The crowd are willing Cody Walker to strike with the weapon as Cassidy throws his hands up, pleading for mercy. Cassidy continues to back away from Walker but soon runs out of anywhere to go as he reaches the ropes once more….
JT: Cassidy trapped himself…….LOOK AT THAT STRENGTH!
Cassidy gulps and then turns as Rex Adamson grabs him by the head and launches him back into the ring and catches him on his shoulders. He walks to the centre…
RJ: FIRE-THUNDER DRIVER…..THANKS FOR COMING CASSIDY!
JT: HOWLING MOON…..THAT’S PAYBACK FOR LAST WEEK!
Adamson drills Cassidy in the middle of the ring, prompting cheers, but there is an audible pop as Cody Walker then leaps from the top rope and drills Rex with the flying fame-a55er….
RJ: Last week Rex Adamson speared Cody Walker in the backstage area…..Walker did not forget….
JT: No he did not…..seems there is some of that Walker devil in the youngster…..this whole situation with these three men just got more interesting…
RJ: Rex Adamson gets the win and a modicum of revenge on Cassidy but it is Cody Walker left standing here….
The crowd are cheering as Cody Walker leaps over the ropes and makes his way back across the ramp, tagging the fans’ hands as he does so. Rex Adamson is sat up, holding his head, and he stares after Walker with annoyance. Cassidy has rolled from the ring and there is a dark, unsettling, expression on his face as he looks from Rex to Walker…
Rex Adamson vs Cassidy
*First match of the evening and we have a recap of the issues last week between Cassidy and Rex Adamson. The commentators are debating on Cassidy’s mindset and gameplan because he clearly believes himself a lot smarter than Rex but has been running from him ever since he cost him his place in the “Road to Royalty”.
*Cassidy is the first out and he is extremely twitchy and watching over his shoulder as he makes his way to ringside. The commentators remind us that Cassidy tasted defeat for the first time last week against Scott Harris but is still rocking a great 3-1 record in his first month. Cassidy climbs up into the ring and slicks his hair back, a feint trace of a smile returning.
*Rex Adamson’s music hits and there are a fair few cheers in Manchester for the Australian (more than likely due to his opponent). Rex is clearly in a foul mood as he storms out from the back and immediately marches to the ring. He climbs through the ropes as Cassidy decides to throw caution to the wind and go on the attack.
*Cassidy is landing punches and kicks but Rex lets out a roar and just shoves his opponent to the floor, causing him to roll over on his back. Cassidy scrambles back up as Rex slams into him with a brutal lariat. He drags Cassidy up and whips him into the turnbuckle with serious power before bench pressing him into the air on the comeback and slams him down to the mat.
*Rex pushes Cassidy up against the ropes and lets rip with brutal (WALTER style) chops that have Cassidy doubled up in agony. He throws Cassidy into the corner and stomps at his midsection before whipping him across the ring and following. Cassidy tries to lift himself up as Rex approaches but Adamson catches his legs on his shoulders and spins out of the corner, drilling him with a sit-down powerbomb for a two count.
*Rex shows his wrestling skills by executing a number of suplexes. He gutwrench suplexes Cassidy across the ring before welcoming back up into a huge back suplex driver. Cassidy rolls over onto his knees and Rex deadlifts him into a bridged German suplex for two.
*The commentators are wondering if Cassidy is starting to regret his actions right about now. Rex strides around the ring and then he decides to kneel and wait. Cassidy slowly rises as Rex sprints toward him for a “Gore” but somehow he counters in midair with a “Divine Comedy” (Codebreaker) but Adamson kicks out on two.
*Cassidy is smug now and he stomps down on Rex, targetting the head. He finds his tongue and is trash talking Adamson as he ushers him to his feet. Cassidy then leaps in for the “Heavenly Hosts” (RKO) but Rex catches him in midair and then just launches him across the ring. Cassidy staggers up in the corner and Adamson smashes into him with a huge clothesline before launching him back out to the middle with a Biel throw. Cassidy is clutching his spine as Adamson rushes toward him and then forward rolls into an exploding dropkick that sends his foe crashing into the opposite turnbuckle and collapses to the mat.
*Rex runs into the corner and uses the top rope to push himself up and explode out into a splash (ala Jack Swagger) for a two count. He then grabs Cassidy and rags him up into a front facelock. He prepares to lift him into a jackhammer but Cassidy floats over the back and then reaches around and rakes Adamson’s eyes. Rex is temporarily blinded as Cassidy flattens him with a leaping inverted STO for a two count.
*Rex has rolled toward the ropes now as Cassidy runs into him with a sickening kick to the spine. He then climbs from the ring and he pulls Rex into position before dropping him to the hard floor with an apron-hung neckbreaker. Cassidy stands and lands some more kicks to the neck for good measure before climbing back in, ordering the referee to count.
*Cassidy believes he has the match in the bag but Rex throws himself under the bottom rope on nine. Cassidy looks incensed as he prepares for the “sins of our father” spear but runs straight into a powerslam. Rex stands and flexes his arms as the crowd applaud. He waits for Cassidy to get up and then lifts him for the “Fire/Thunder Driver” but Cassidy wriggles free and dives from the ring. Rex is in no mood to play games and runs after him. Cassidy gets back in and then stomps on Adamson as he tries to follow. Cassidy once again mocks Rex and claims he is too smart.
*Cassidy drags Rex up but is pushed back into the corner. Adamson chases in but Cassidy sidesteps and sends his opponent against the turnbuckle before nailing him with the “Idolatry” (zigzag neckbreaker) but Adamson kicks out on two. Cassidy voices his disdain at the referee and heads for the corner. He beckons Rex up and then dives off with an overhang neckbreaker from the second rope and then follows up with a lionsault but Rex kicks out.
*Cassidy is in the referee’s face now, clearly not happy with the counts. He screams at Rex to get up and then spins into the “Purification” (Judas Effect) but Adamson catches his arm. Cassidy looks worried as Rex crushes his arm and then ripcords him around and nails a “rainmaker” lariat that spins Cassidy through the air. Rex drops the straps on his singlet now and signals to the crowd.
*Rex crouches and prepares for the “Gore”. He readies to sprint out when Cassidy grabs the ropes and pulls himself out of the ring, drawing boos from the audience. Cassidy then reaches under the ring and produces the branding iron. Rex shows no intimidation and yells at Cassidy to bring it on. Cassidy circles the ring and then Rex dives out and now he has a cricket bat as the crowd cheer. Rex wants Cassidy to bring the fight but suddenly Cassidy backs away and starts to retreat back across the ramp as the crowd chant “A55hole”.
*Rex has a wry smile on his face as the crowd are now chanting “coward” at Cassidy. The referee has no choice but to keep counting

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Drake is doing his final stretches and taping up his hands. He looks on his desk at the pictures of his career and starting 6CW. He sighs, contemplating where it all went wrong, and then heads for the door. He opens it and Alex Walker is standing there.
*Drake doesn’t seem happy to see Walker and believes he could have helped more but Walker tells him that Drake needs to take ownership for his own mistakes. Drake says what about “all the other stuff” but Walker tells him to keep his voice down. Walker tells Drake to deal with tonight’s match and whatever comes his way but let Walker work on things behind the scenes.
Drake wants to know why he should trust Walker and he responds “Because I’m the man that makes things happen”. He then wishes Drake luck as he strides toward Gorilla.
*GazzyD and Christy arrive together, much to the surprise of many backstage. It seems the married couple have been spending some time together. Christy tells her husband she needs to get to work but wishes him luck for tonight. She kisses him on the cheek and walks away.
Kristal arrives and tells Gazzy he is late. Gazzy apologises but says he was at “counselling” and sorting his marriage. Kristal rolls her eyes and says that’s “great” but now let’s get down to “important business”. She says tonight is a great chance to send a message to everyone else in the “Road to Royalty” tournament and really hammer home that he is the favourite, in front of his own fans. Gazzy listens to the cheers of the crowd and he smiles, properly, for the first time in an age. He says it is great to be home and he has a good feeling about tonight and “Against the Wall”. Kristal nods and says she has the plans for tonight so Gazzy needs to get into gear and listen to what is going to happen. He nods and follows her to the changing rooms.
*Jack Reynolds has managed to accost JJ Johnson and it seems we are getting a bit of a sit down interview with the bossman. Reynolds first asks about Brandi and how she is doing (clearly digging on her absence) but JJ shuts it down and says she is great and back in the States with the kids, doing mum life and holding down the Johnson fort.
We move onto Acer and Clarke James after last week’s assault. JJ says it wasn’t planned and certainly wasn’t advised. Acer is emotional, understandably, but he was supposed to stay home until “Against the Wall”. Reynolds wants to know if there will be any repercussions but JJ says no….the match alone at the PLE is enough repercussions for everyone. JJ says that Ari Goldstein (CJ’s lawyer) has made sure that nothing of the sorts will happen again here tonight. Johnson doesn’t look pleased but says “loopholes have been exploited” and it is all out of his hand. JJ says he can be in the building at “Against the Wall” but he can’t be ringside. He admits concern but he knows Acer can hold his own with the best of them. JJ just doesn’t know how it came to this.
*Reynolds asks if JJ believes, perhaps, he has spread himself too thin with the beginning of 6CWF? Overlooking the issues with Drake/Oko as well as Blue Dragon etc…..JJ stares at Reynolds for a few moments but then lets out a deep sigh and says “maybe”. JJ wants to make it clear that this “business (beep)” is new ground and perhaps he didn’t anticipate the obstacles that would present themselves…..JJ says he has more than enough money to bankroll this company ten times over (That’s what a wrestling, boxing and movie career will do) but that isn’t how business works and his good people at “VIP Promotions” advised it would be safer to invite outside investment…..that’s why the door opened for Drake and obviously Johnny Oko….that’s why Blue Dragon was talked as an investor…..JJ thinks perhaps he should have just run it all himself, off his own volition and bank account, but he had to think about his family and their security….unfortunately now he finds himself in a position where he is putting out fires all over….and the safety of his family is more at risk than ever before….
JJ says the Drake/Oko scenario will be shut down in the coming weeks, of that he is certain…..he says tonight Blue Dragon will be in town and they will iron out their differences, one way or another…..and once Clarke James and Acer settle the score at “Against the Wall” he has every intention of moving forward with this company and concentrating on making it a global success…
Reynolds asks about Robin Reborn….JJ is glad Reynolds brought Reborn up because this has been quite the conundrum for VIP Promotions but Johnson has learned that apparently Reborn’s contract with Amazon is tied in with his 6CWF Legend contract…..meaning JJ cannot, unfortunately, stop his “punk a55” from showing up….but it does he can ensure that Reborn pays for his sins….in fact he’s hoping Reborn is here tonight because he has some news for him…
We move on to Anthony Grace and his well publicised marriage and personal troubles….Reynolds wonders if it was a “smart decision” to bring Grace back….JJ says he isn’t a Grace fan, professionally or personally….but he ain’t a man to kick another whilst he’s down and he won’t talk about Grace’s personal issues….he says Grace puts eyes on the product and that was a business call to bring him in...but the same rules apply as to anyone else, (beep) around and find out….Grace is currently in the same standings as everyone else but that can all change if he decides to bring his baggage with him to the shows….JJ really hopes that doesn’t happen…
On to tonight and what exactly is a “Mayhem in Manchester” match? JJ is glad Reynolds brought it up but it’s real simple….basically when JJ got in the business it was quite a frequent occurrence for the “go home” show before a PPV to end with a number of feuds for the upcoming show descending into a huge brawl….the first he can remember was at the original “Against the Wall” back in 2008….so instead of a random battle to finish the show, JJ has pre-empted it and he is welcoming it….he knows there are a dozen feuds and a dozen superstars looking to tear chunks from one another so JJ is giving them their chance….pick your poison, make a statement….he’s even lifting the “no contact” ban between Tyler Roth and Marty Helms….he knows the fans want to see action and that is exactly what they are going to get in tonight’s main event….fights can take place anywhere and everywhere…..JJ wants to drive the viewing figures up and he believes that after the show goes off air tonight “Against the Wall” will be the #1 trend worldwide….

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
Bout 2
Drake vs ???
JT: Drake knows his whole career is on the line here…
RJ: That knee has been decimated….it could have popped, dislocated or even broken after the damage he has taken….
JT: JJ Johnson told Drake he didn’t want it to be like this...but Drake betrayed him…
RJ: I don’t think JJ knew that McManus would do this tonight but he must have had an inkling….
JT: JJ said he would have done everything to help Drake if he had reached out...but he took Drake’s betrayal personally and I don’t he’ll be in a rush to send anyone out here to help….
Drake is clearly in agony as he realises he has no choice but to tap his hand against the canvass. The referee immediately calls for the bell as “Where’s my wonderland” crashes out of the speakers. McManus keeps the submission locked in for nearly a whole minute after bell before finally releasing…
RJ: Drake’s career here in 6CWF is over….no wrestling contract, no board affiliation….
JT: And a wrecked knee to boot….
RJ: James McManus has returned and what a statement he has made….not many men can say in their first match back that they destroyed the “Original Original of 6CW” and ended his career….James McManus just guaranteed eyes on the next chapter of his career…
JT: McManus has always been a ruthless competitor but he may have taken that to a whole new level…
McManus continues to pace the ring, smiling and basking in his victory, as medics are called to attend to Drake. We get shots of Drake’s knee being placed in a brace before he is helped toward a waiting stretcher…
RJ: Penny for the thoughts of JJ Johnson and Johnny Oko right now….their board room battle just took a very real casualty….
JT: JJ Johnson is being dragged all over the place right now…..Drake & Oko, the return of Blue Dragon and, of course, Clarke James….something has to give soon surely?
McManus climbs from the ring and he laughs again as he passes Drake being placed on the stretcher. McManus makes his way up the ramp and then stands at the top and raises his arms in the air…
RJ: What comes next for James McManus?
Drake vs ???
*Back to ringside and the commentators break down what we are about to see. JJ Johnson is putting Drake’s “6CWF” career on the line after finding out about his betrayal in regards to front Johnny Oko’s consortium to buy shares in the company. If Drake wins he can remain in the company as Oko’s “frontman” until Oko & Johnson reach an agreement on how to settle their dispute….but should he lose then he is gone as a board member and as an active roster member.
*Drake arrives to a mixed reaction from the audience. He receives boos from those who cannot believe he would side with Johnny Oko but there are a fair few fans who sympathise with him and have been fans since he created 6CW. Drake looks in fighting shape but it is clear that his mindset is a little wayward with the stipulation in place.
*The commentators are debating on the identity of Drake’s opponent, all we know is that JJ Johnson told Drake to be ready because it is someone looking to make a name for themselves. Suddenly a figure leaps the barricade and comes form behind, chopping Drake’s knee out from under him.
*Boos ring all around as James McManus stands in the ring with a smirk on his face. He stomps all over Drake and targets the leg before climbing back out. He drags Drake’s leg and smashes it, repeatedly, against the ringpost. McManus springs over the top rope and stomps on Drake’s knee, causing him to yell in agony.
*RJ gives us the breakdown on McManus. Multi time tag team champion but also a former 6WF European and 6CW United Kingdom Champion. He watches Drake trying to stand and then charges into him with a brutal knee trembler to the skull. He covers but Drake just manages to kick out.
*McManus looks at the much bigger man and then tries to lift him up for the “MK Ultra” but Drake is too big and manages to swat his attacker away. McManus charges back out but Drake drops him with a big boot, only to twinge his injured knee. The crowd are getting behind Drake as he hobbles to the corner and runs out for the spear, which lands. The commentators talk about Drake turning back the clock.
*Drake drags McManus up for the front facelock and into the jackhammer but McManus drops off the back and he chopblocks the knee again. Drake is on all fours as McManus hooks his arms in place and nails him with the “River Wensum Plunge”. The crowd are booing but McManus isn’t interested as he grabs Drake’s leg and he places it across the middle rope, Drake face down on the mat. McManus backs into the corner and lifts himself onto the second rope before jumping off with a horrific kneedrop to the back of Drake’s knee, causing him to scream out in pain.
*McManus lashes kicks against Drake’s leg as he tries to cover up and then he twists him into a British figure four leglock. Drake’s yells of pain fill the air.
JT: Drake knows his whole career is on the line here…
RJ: That knee has been decimated….it could have popped, dislocated or even broken after the damage he has taken….
JT: JJ Johnson told Drake he didn’t want it to be like this...but Drake betrayed him…

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*James McManus walks into the backstage area with a triumphant grin on his face. Clarissa is on hand to talk with him and ask him about his return. McManus says it feels great to be back in 6CWF and he has plans to push himself into the upper echelons of this business sooner rather than later. Clarissa asks if there is any remorse for what happened to Drake but McManus feels none. He says whoever steps in the ring with him is likely to get hurt….that’s what he brings to the table. Drake was first and he doesn’t care who is next…..Marty Helms is suddenly standing there and staring at McManus, who glares back. Neither man says anything (recounting their history) but Helms shifts the 6WF Championship on his shoulder and smirks before walking away.
*JJ is filing some paperwork when Diablo enters. Alex Walker is sat next to JJ and they both look up. Diablo says Anthony Grace has no showed the event and they cannot get hold of him anywhere but there are several pictures doing the rounds on social media of him “on a bender” in Manchester. JJ looks at Alex Walker and then back to Diablo. He asks if they can just “cancel the contract” but it seems they cannot.
JJ looks down at a piece of paper and then tells Diablo to inform “Grace’s people” that he has a match scheduled for “Against the Wall” against James McManus…..JJ turns to Walker and says “Maybe he can get rid of another problem for us”.
We cut to an undisclosed location as the camera pans through a wooded area until we reach the doors of what appears to be an abandoned church. The camera steps through the door and we enter the building to see the walls smoke damaged and decaying.
The dimly lit room only illuminated by a few candles and the little light that is able to pour in through the cracks in the walls. The camera pans around the old church to show the stained glass smashed and boarded up by rotten planks and among the darkness stands a hooded man with other figures stood facing him, each holding a candle.
The man stands at the remains of the pulpit and upon the pulpit lies a what appears to be a heart, drained of all blood and covered in writhing maggots, the man looking down at all times as he speaks
hooded man:
I found myself as a blind man, in a dark room begging to see the light...
...but the light burnt me...
...it shamed me...
...it illuminated me and told me I was a monster.
I found myself as a deaf man, praying that one day I would hear the trumpets that the gods had promised...
...but they were like nails to a chalkboard...
...the sound shook me to my very core.
I found myself with no senses, wishing to smell the sweetest flowers that they could offer...
...but those flowers died in my hands.
Life will betray you, if you wait for heroes to save you.
...but the wait is over...
...another has answered your calls.
As the man speaks, the other figures chant quietly in the background repeating 4 numbers.
Figures:
ONE...
...THREE...
...FOUR...
...SIX.
The camera slowly backs away as the figures continue to chant, the man remains still, his head still bowed to the ground.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*The scene changes and we are live at “EWF-Con” and there is a small number of fans gathered for the contract signings. E-Unit and Brian Wells are signing contracts and then we have Jason Sparkz posing for pictures with an EWF Championship belt. There is suddenly a commotion as Liam Wood has stormed the convention and he lashes a chair across E-Unit’s head and then he kicks Brian Wells in the gut and powerbombs him through a table as the fans roar in delight.
Wood is destroying the merchandise now as Jason Sparkz comes over to try and calm him down. Wood grabs him by the face and smashes his head back against a screen before running him forward and launches him over another table, splattering him on the floor.
Wood: I know he organised all of this….still profiteering from a company he destroyed….and all of you putting money in his pocket, you make me sick…
*Wood looks ready to pulverise Sparkz when a hand rests on his shoulder. Emmy is there and she is talking with Wood, explaining that his fight is not here and that he knows who is responsible. Wood slowly calms and nods his head as he allows Emmy to lead him out of the convention. From the shadows we see Drake and Kelsey Callihan smirking, there is a third person with them but we cannot see who.
*A huge scene backstage as it seems Drake Cabowers has been ambushed on his way to the ambulance after his match with James McManus. He is bloody and battered and we can hear a medic saying “His leg is definitely broken but it’s his internal injuries that really worry me”….JJ Johnson and Alex Walker are on the scene. JJ wants to know what happened but nobody is talking. JJ believes he knows and the camera follows him as he storms down the hallway.
*Johnny Oko’s “guards” try to stand in JJ’s way but he grabs one and launches him across the floor, daring the other to make a move. JJ then pushes the door open and confronts Oko. Oko claims innocence and if he wants Drake taken out then “there’d be nothing left” but Johnson isn’t buying it….tells Oko he has until the pay per view to name his terms and then this “madness” will be sorted, both shares of the company on the line.
Alex Walker is left standing at the door, staring at Oko, as JJ walks away. A stagehand is heard saying “They’re ready for you at ringside, JJ” as the scene ends.
*JJ is out at ringside now to a hero’s reception. He wants Blue Dragon out here right now. There is a table and chairs set up in the ring and a contract on the table.
Here comes Blue Dragon to a mixed review, dressed in a suit. JJ wants to skip the pleasantries. He’s heard the (beep) that Dragon is peddling about a stake in the business etc but JJ is telling him to his face that he will never own even 1% of this company whilst he is breathing in and out. Dragon says JJ would be unwise to make him an enemy but JJ’s heard enough. Says Dragon’s persona and his “lifestyle” means jack(beep)….JJ was born and raised in Compton, he has buried more “brothers” than Blue Dragon has zeroes in his bank account and if this whole “organised chaos” threat is supposed to worry him...it really doesn’t….he tells Dragon that if he wants to stick around, be a pain in his a55, but actually contribute to this company then there’s the contract...sign it and let’s move on..
*Dragon is sneering at JJ now and says he doesn’t take orders….he does what he wants, when he wants….and if he wants to turn up here, when he feels like, then that is exactly what he is going to do….Dragon tells JJ he doesn’t need a contract and he doesn’t need permission….he is curious to what “businessman” JJ Johnson is going to do to him….because he didn’t even have the balls to defend his own wife and friends from Clarke James….
*The crowd are on their feet now, anticipating a brawl, when Geoff Steel storms the ring and all hell breaks loose. Security cannot contain as Steel sends bodies flying and all of a sudden he is trading blows with Blue Dragon in the ring. Steel launches BD against the turnbuckle and goes to work with stomps and punches before dragging him out to the centre but BD responds with a huge punch to the gut with his “gauntlet” glove, winding Steel. He then prepares for the “Deathnote” through the table but Steel fights free and he backdrops Dragon so that he slams down ontop of the table, although it doesn’t break. Steel grabs a steel chair and swings it at Dragon, who manages to get his hands up, and it grazes above his eye. More security pour in now and are trying to keep both men separate as JJ stares from one to the other.
*JJ says if Blue Dragon doesn’t want to sign his contract then that’s his choice but if he shows up at “Against the Wall” then he and Geoff Steel are gonna throw down in an “unsanctioned street fight” which draws a huge roar from the audience. JJ walks away and Blue Dragon yells “We ain’t done, Johnson” but JJ keeps going. Steel then breaks free and launches over the ropes onto the walkway, colliding with Dragon and security, knocking them down again.
*Steel is up and he tackles Dragon to the deck and they begin to brawl again before they are dragged apart. The crowd are ultra hyped as the commentators talk up a “certain bloodbath” at the PLE.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Cody Walker is just getting ready to go out to ringside when he is interrupted by his father. Alex first congratulates Cody on standing up for himself in the face of adversity and calls him a “chip off the old block” but Cody doesn’t respond to this. Alex Walker then wants to talk about tonight. He tells Cody that he will go to JJ and get this match called off….he doesn’t want his son competing against Clarke James but Cody holds a hand up.
Cody doesn’t want any favours and he certainly doesn’t want anyone thinking his dad is pulling strings to get him out of fights he cannot win. Cody says it’s nice that his dad has no faith in him but he isn’t scared of Clarke James or anyone for that matter. He says that is one thing he learned from his father….to fear nobody and always aim high…..he says tonight is a great chance to prove he belongs here in 6CWF….Cody walks off and Alex looks proud but also worried about what is to come.
*Scene change and Tyler Roth and Scott Harris are training ahead of the main event. Harris tells Roth to be careful tonight because Helms will look for any advantage before the big showdown but Roth is ready for whatever comes. He admits this is “personal” between the two and he isn’t sure both can walk away from “Against the Wall”…
Harris looks concerned for his friend but tells Roth to make sure he wins that strap and gets ready to defend it against “King Harris”….Roth laughs and says he’s looking forward to the challenge. They shake hands as the scene ends.
*Drake and Kelsey Callihan have returned from “EWF-Con” to find Daniel Reilly preparing for the main event. Reilly isn’t happy with all the games, he says he can just got out there and put Wood in his place but Drake needs him to see the bigger picture. He says this between he and Wood is ten years in the making and it has to end on his terms.
Drake promises that Reilly will be “compensated” for his help and Kelsey runs her hand along his chest. Reilly wants to go over the plans for tonight again.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Scene change and we see Acer returning home. The lights are all out and he looks concerned as he rushes up the driveway and opens the door. He is shouting for his wife “Carol-Ann” but nobody answers. He enters a drawing room and there is a chair facing away from him. Acer can see a hand on the chair as he reaches for a baseball bat to attack the intruder.
???: You have a beautiful home…
Acer: You shouldn’t have come here, you piece of (beep)….forget “Against the Wall”….this ends tonight…
???: You must understand, Anthony...all of this, the whole thing is all part of the grand design….the home invasions, the flowers to your wife….the attacks on Rocky V2 and Tyson Armstrong….but the most pertinent aspect you have missed to this point is the assumption that you are a lead role in this show…
Because you are not….you are just another pawn….a pawn that plays a vital role, but a pawn all the same….and every one one of your actions, although you believe you control, has already been predicted and anticipated….
You see….once you fall, and fall you shall….the pathway to the ultimate goal becomes a little clearer….a little less noise in the background to distract from the end result….with you gone, my plan progresses….
A plan that cannot be stopped….a plan where the wheels were set in motion a long, long time ago…..a plan where you feature almost inconsequentially…..but your sacrifice will not be in vain, oh no….in fact yours will be the most cherished so far….although nothing compared to the ones that follow….
*Acer takes a step forward with the bat as the chair swings around to face him. A man sits in the chair with a deranged, terrifying mask on (think Scarecrow from Batman). Acer pauses in his tracks as another voice sounds out from behind him, close to his ear.
???: Fear makes you predictable….I am in complete control
*Suddenly a plastic bag is wrapped over Acer’s head. He desperately tries to fight it as his head is smashed against a nearby table, breaking ornaments in the process. We get a horrendous shot of Acer fighting for his life, the bag stained by blood and spit. Clarke James continues to smash Acer’s head off the walls before finally dropping him to the floor and ripping the bag from his head. Acer drinks in huge gulps of air but his head has been obliterated, blood everywhere.
Clarke James: You are so very close to end of your chapter now but I want to thank you for your role…..once you have fulfilled your part though there will only be one thing left for you to do….and that’s watch….watch as I lead your beloved JJ into oblivion….enjoy the show.
*Clarke drags Acer back up now. He looks at the figure in the chair and smiles before running Acer forwards and launches him through the front window, leaving him in a bloody heap in the garden (think Triple H/Orton).
*The scene changes and JJ Johnson receives a phone call. His face drains of colour as he listens. He puts the phone down and leaves the room, saying nothing. We see JJ heading for the parking lot and getting in his car.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
Bout 3
Clarke James vs Cody Walker
Clarke James vs Cody Walker
*The commentators are still reeling from what we have seen at Acer’s home and the devastating attack at the hands of Clarke James. Jeff Thadeus says we now know there is no way Clarke James is going to be here for the upcoming bout.
*Cody Walker makes his entrance cheered on by the audience, but even looks a little shocked by the events that have transpired all over the big screens of the arena. He interacts with his young fans and then makes his way up into the ring but turns to the referee to ask where they go from here.
*The commentators are talking up a no contest or even a count out win for Cody Walker when he is assaulted from behind by an irate Cassidy, nailing the “Idolatry” (zigzag neckbreaker). Cassidy is still annoyed about being shown up earlier on and he launches Walker with ferocity into the corner, flipping him upside down. He stomps on his rival and chokes him before dragging him up, screaming in his face. He pushes Walker back against the ropes and drops him with the “Purification” (Judas Effect)
*Cassidy climbs from the ring and now he has the branding iron, this time it has been heated for a purpose. The crowd are booing as Cassidy prepares to “brand” Cody Walker but here comes Rex Adamson.
*Cassidy waits for Rex to get to the ropes and then he moves to leave the ring. He then turns on his heel, thinking he has tricked Adamson, and tries to drive the “brand” iron toward him but Rex ducks underneath and bursts off the ropes before returning with a huge lariat, spinning him inside out. Rex kicks the brand away as he drags Cassidy up.
*The crowd are waiting for Rex to put his own mark on Cassidy for the second time tonight when they are interrupted by Diablo. Diablo is fulfilling his role as “talent relations” and he wants all three men to know that they have been pitted against one another at “Against the Wall”. All three are looked up on “future stars” which is why 6CWF is reviving the “Freshers Ball” to put on the line which will guarantee the winner of the match a shot at a midcard championship of their choosing.
*Rex seems happy with that and nods but then he scoops Cassidy onto his shoulders anyway. Cody Walker is back up now and the crowd go wild as Adamson bends down to scoop Walker up as well. He parades them, showing off his strength, before sitting down and drilling them simultaneously with the “Fire/Thunder” Driver. Rex gets up and stares down at his fallen rivals as the commentators talk about how all three men have received a gateway to bigger and better things before an official graphic is displayed to the televised audience.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Backstage and we see Christy and Uryu together. Uryu remarks on how happy Christy looks. Christy says things are going well between her and Gazzy and he seems to be turning a corner. She wants to thank Uryu for everything and being by her side like a true “friend”. Uryu looks torn but acts pleased. Christy wishes him luck and says she has to run because it’s all hands to the pump for management after JJ left to check on Acer.
Uryu picks up the 6CW Championship and is heading to the roof when he finds his way barred by James McManus. The two long time rivals stare at one another and McManus eyes the world title before walking away.
*Scene change and Cassidy is in his locker. He says that at “Against the Wall” he will finally put an official “brand” on his rivals and show the world what they are all about. He says he will win the “Freshers Ball”. Cassidy debates on whether it’s Cody Walker or Rex Adamson that he really wants to prove aren’t on his God Tier.
*Robin Reborn and his entourage are ringside. Diablo is sent out but Reborn’s minders won’t let him close. Diablo wants the message passed on that Lex Hart versus Robin Reborn is official for “Against the Wall”. News filters through to Reborn but he barely looks interested. Diablo says “JJ wanted to deliver the news in person” and this gets Reborn interested. He stands and gets in Diablo’s face. Says JJ has never given him his props but thinks he can order him around. Reborn says he’ll be at Against the Wall and JJ can tell him himself what he wants. It then moves to a montage of Lex Hart destroying concrete blocks with a sledgehammer, seems we may be getting the old Lex Hart back.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*O’Callaghan is scheduled for an interview when Johnny Oko and his entourage interrupt. Clarissa is struggling to get a true interview as Scott Harris joins now and then Kristal with GazzyD. The argument over who is going to win “Road to Royalty” ensues as they go back and forth.
Marty Helms walks in now and he is sizing up the “competition”. He laughs them off and says if this is what awaits him after he gets through with Tyler Roth then he may as well take the month off. He says if they have any inclinations of winning a world title then “Make-A-Wishida” should be their choice.
Uryu is in the scene now and the two world champions stare one another down as their four potential opponents stare at them and their world title gold.
*Eddy Kent is talking with Timothy Allen. Kent says tonight is free reign to send a message but everyone should already know what is coming at “Against the Wall”. Kent says it is destiny to be world champion again and Uryu isn’t on his level. Kent says he was hand picked from day one in this business because he is made for greatness. Allen probes with more questions but Kent closes his hand around the mic and tells Allen that that is all the time he gets with the world champ...next time he can make an appointment.
*Rex Adamson is smashing a punch bag in the gym as Max Adamson walks in. Max thinks his nephew has fallen off, getting caught up with the rest of the chasing pack when last month he was on the cusp of world championships. Rex fires back and is annoyed but Max tells him that he is speaking from experience….he got caught up with The Producers and Hooligan, swinging cricket bats with River Ace in his early days when most believed he was capable of much more….
Max tells Rex to smash the competition and walk away with that “Freshers Ball” contract….he said the European Title was his key to success and it can be Rex’s too….
Adamson then tells Rex to stop being a “soppy b0llocks” and do the Adamson name proud….he walks off as Rex slams another punch into the punchbag and lets out a roar
*We get a recap on the brawl between Geoff Steel and Blue Dragon at ringside earlier. We then get separate interviews with both men backstage afterward. Geoff Steel is all fired up and saying that although he knows what a dangerous competitor Blue Dragon can be….this is exactly what he needed in his return to 6CWF. Promises the world will see the best of Geoff Steel at “Against the Wall” as he returns to his roots and reminds everyone that he can fight with the best of them.
Blue Dragon wades in on screen now with a message. Says he won’t dance to JJ’s tune and he won’t sign no damn contract. But he will be at “Against the Wall” and the permanent damage he causes to Geoff Steel will serve as notice for the chaos to come. Blue Dragon says everything that happens from here is on JJ Johnson’s head.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
The scene opens to the eerily familiar sound of a heartbeat monitor as the camera pans down the halls of the dimly lighted hospital to the operating theatre where the Blonde Lady is tied down to the operating table with chains as the imposing figure slowly walks into the operating room picking up a small scalpel knife dragging it across his own scar ridden chest as the lady starts to become conscious?????:
Welcome back to your vile reality
It's now time to repay all your sins
One by one
Until you cannot take anymore
And truly start to feel what it's like to be worthless
What it feels like to be dead inside
"Death by a thousand cuts" plays in the background as he slices the webbing between the fingers and feet bring agonizing screams as he stands emotionless.?????
Do you understand now?
Do you feel the way i feel?
Do you get why this is happening????
Please stop...Please...
He starts to slice little by little going up both her legs leaving blood slowly dripping off the operating table as the screams continue?????
You're so wrapped up in the pain
You don't see the opportunity in front of you
I can save you but you have to understand there's no turning back
Everything you've ever known will be gone
All you'll have is everything you never knew you needed?????
macabre
addiction
repulsive
terrifying
yampy
All things people believe i am
maybe they're right but who are they to judge me???
Go f**k yourself you lunatic
He starts to seethe at the rejection and finishes the thousand cuts over her body as she screams slowly give way to a numbness inside as the blue from her eyes fade into a deep black and her blood stains her hair a dark red color as the wounds stop seeping blood as the figure unlocks the chains holding her down?????
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body
Feel the hatred running through your veins
Embrace it, Let you feed off the pain of others
The Lady takes slow blood covered steps towards the figure before sinking to her knees infront of him???
I will handle your sins. And for justice? For justice, I will show you mine...

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
Main Event
"Mayhem in Manchester
Scott Harris/Tyler Roth/Uryu Ishida/O’Callaghan/Cameron Faith/Liam Wood vs Marty Helms/Eddy Kent/GazzyD/Johnny Oko/Mike Hill/Daniel Reilly
JT: Folks it goes without saying that we have seen so much here tonight…..some of it downright heinous, some of it amazing, some outrageous….but needless to say that the build up to “Against the Wall” has been spectacular…
RJ: We couldn’t be more hyped for what promises to be an historic night here in Manchester in twelve days time...but everything we have seen thus far tonight….the Blue Dragon/Geoff Steel brawl….the disgusting attack from Clarke James on Acer at his family home….the Rex Adamson/Cody Walker/Cassidy triple threat announcement….the return of James McManus and the retirement of Drake….the in-ring return and subsequent no show of Anthony Grace…..the Reborn/Hart saga…..we still have this evening’s main event….and I don’t mind telling you that I have no idea what to expect….
JT: Earlier tonight Clarissa tried to get JJ Johnson to shed light on the “Mayhem in Manchester” match but he just said the clue is in the title….JJ said he knows pro wrestling and he knows what fans want to see…..we’ve got some incredible on going feuds and now is the time to sell it to the masses…
RJ: Basically JJ just looked at it and said….let’s go out with a bang….all these guys in the back who have beef, now is your chance to go out there...twelve days out from Against the Wall….and get some….
JT: He’s even lifted the “no contact” ban between Marty Helms and Tyler Roth….which many think is the wrong call…
RJ: Twelve days before a “last man standing” match….two weeks after they nearly killed one another….yeah it’s a massive call, a huge risk….but JJ wants to recapture what brought 6CWF to the dance in the first place and that means smash mouth action….
JT: JJ said the original “Against the Wall” back in 2008 saw the “go home show” littered with a huge backstage brawl between Saint and Nemesis…..Trash TV and Anarchy…...River Acer and Enforcer….TGA and GWC….JJ and Crime Lord…..it was a moment that lived forever, it took the upcoming pay per view to a whole new level….and Johnson wants that here again tonight….fifteen years later….he has told the men involved in this year’s event to put their name up in lights and extra zeroes on their bonuses….he wants action…
RJ: And as far as we know about rules…
JT: There are none….it’s just a fight….anywhere, everywhere…..a pinfall or a submission must take place in the ring but broken down in it’s simplest form, these men have been given free reign…
RJ: Let the chaos commence then…
Back out at ringside as “Ain’t no stopping” me crashes through the airwaves and the Manchester crowd are up on their feet for the arrival of Cameron Faith…
RJ: The number one contender to the European Championship has made it this far….that almost warrants an award…
JT: Considering the long term animosity between Faith and Hill I am surprised….
Faith gets across to the ring as his music stops and is replaced by “Next big thing”. Mike Hill is quickly out onto the ramp and he’s letting Faith know that he doesn’t want his “bull(beep)” music playing out. Faith is almost smirking as Hill swaggers across the ramp toward him…
RJ: I don’t think we are going to have to wait too much longer, though…..
Hill is right in Faith’s face now as the fists begin to fly between the two of them. Hill lands some good shots but then Faith dodges and lands a flush chop to the chest and then a huge clothesline that sends Hill over the top rope and inside the ring…
JT: Maybe we will actually see some in ring action here….
“Figure it out” plays out and the crowd go wild as Scott Harris makes his entrance. He raises his arms as pyros go off behind him…
RJ: The first of our “Road to Royalty” semi-finalists….
Back at ringside and Cameron Faith tries to powerbomb Mike Hill in the corner when Hill counters with a hurricanrana that sends him through the ropes to the outside. Hill follows up with an over the top senton takedown as the crowd applaud. Johnny Oko then comes out to face down with Scott Harris as “Run this town” booms out for O’Callaghan’s arrival…
JT: We are getting more and more men out at ringside than I really expected here….
RJ: There are still some very notable faces missing….
JT: We have cameras all over….we will find them….
Back at ringside and Scott Harris is nailing Johnny Oko with a hat-trick of German suplexes. He prepares for some more but O’Callaghan shoves him away. They share a staredown before OC drags Oko up and nails his own hat-trick of Germans. Four of Oko’s “guards” then flood the ring and take the fight to O’Callaghan and Harris…
RJ: This is another rule break that JJ Johnson has welcomed….he did well to clamp down on Oko’s minions but he is giving everyone free reign tonight….
Harris and O’Callaghan begin clashing with the “guards” as we see Cameron Faith smashing Mike Hill’s head against the announce desk repeatedly. Hill’s eyes are rolling in his head after the tenth shot and he falls back across the floor as Faith starts to dismantle the table…
JT: Cameron Faith looking to give himself a big headstart ahead of his European Title challenge…

RJ: Let the chaos commence then…
The first shot we see is of Uryu Ishida descending into the stairway that leads down from the roof to the building itself when he is clattered by Eddy Kent, who clearly must have already been up on the roof…
JT: Kent was lying in wait….waiting for Uryu to make his move…
RJ: And this is exactly what JJ Johnson has encouraged…..a fight in the roof stairwell….what could possibly go wrong?
Kent slams the back of Uryu’s head against the wall behind and then leans over him and drives away with vicious punches to the head. He can be seen ripping the 6CW Championship belt out of Uryu’s grip but then Uryu kicks out at his stomach and drives upwards into a tackle…
JT: OH MY LORD…
RJ: And this was exactly what everyone feared would happen…
Uryu and Kent are suddenly crashing down the stairs and they explode out of the door at the bottom, coming out in a heap on the concrete floor as backstage staff are left watching on in disbelief. Both Kent and Uryu are trying to crawl back up…
JT: In twelve nights these men will square off for the 6CW Championship….but what will remain by that point?
Back out at ringside as “Ain’t no stopping” me crashes through the airwaves and the Manchester crowd are up on their feet for the arrival of Cameron Faith…

“Figure it out” plays out and the crowd go wild as Scott Harris makes his entrance. He raises his arms as pyros go off behind him…
RJ: The first of our “Road to Royalty” semi-finalists….
*Backstage and Eddy Kent tries to tip the water cooler on top of Uryu but the world champion moves as it smashes all over the floor. Kent then yells at Ishida to get up and looks to nail the “Genesis kick” (Brogue kick) but Uryu moves out of the way and then superkicks Kent in the side of the head, sending him sprawling across the top of a production case….Uryu looks around and then spots a ladder…
JT: Uryu and Eddy Kent are a law unto themselves backstage….
RJ: It’s only going to end badly….
The cameras change again and there is a roar as we see Tyler Roth and Marty Helms clashing inside the “gym” area…
RJ: This should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone….
JT: After all we have seen between these two men, and Helms’ trip down memory lane earlier tonight….this is as personal as it gets…
Tyler Roth tips up a bench as Helms looks to nail him with a dumbbell. Roth blocks, grunting at the pain in his arm, and then lands a vicious knee to the stomach. He grabs Helms by the head and launches him against a wrack of free-standing weights before launching him into a nearby wall…
RJ: I just don’t see how tonight ends without a serious injury….
Liam Wood opens up his locker-room door and Kelsey Callihan is waiting, spraying him in the face with an unknown substance. Wood is blinded momentarily and staggers back in the room as Daniel Reilly then tackles Wood into the wall and begins to stomp on him. Kelsey’s giggles can be heard as Reilly drags a trash can in and smashes it across Wood’s spine…
JT: Now Wood is being mugged in the back…..
RJ: Well that was an absolute given….
The scene changes again and Uryu Ishida is on top of a ladder, around ten feet up, and he looks down on Eddy Kent, who is still sprawled on the production case. Uryu stands…
JT: SPLIT SECOND….OH MAN!
Kent rolls off the case at the final moment as Uryu’s ribs slam against the side of the case. He is down on his knees, clearly in a lot of pain, as Kent glares at him and then nails the “Genesis kick” squashing Ishida’s head against the case…
RJ: Uryu just got his head stoved in right there….Eddy Kent lands that kick at “Against the Wall” and we have a new world champion…
Kent is looking down at Uryu, measuring him up, as medics arrive on the scene to check up on the 6CW Champion…
JT: This is just the first of the casualties….
Backstage and Liam Wood has given chase to Daniel Reilly and Kelsey Callihan, leading out into the parking lot. His rivals are nowhere to be seen but a car’s headlights come on and Drake Callihan is sat behind the steering wheel. He has a dark smile on his face as he revs the engine….Wood stands his ground, daring Callihan to make the move….
RJ: A hit and run…..really?
Wood grabs a metal pipe off the floor and he throws it at the moving car, shattering the windscreen, and Callihan swerves the vehicle so that he crashes headlong into another. Wood is seething in rage as he rips the door open…
JT: Liam Wood may be about to get himself some revenge on the man who has made his life hell…
Drake Callihan has a cut on his forehead, where he has struck the steering wheel, as Wood rags him from the car and throws him to the floor. Wood measures for the “Psycho Crusher” foot stomp on the concrete as Daniel Reilly attacks once more, clattering Wood from behind with a steel chair. Kelsey Callihan scuttles across to help her father escape as Reilly continues his attack on Wood…
RJ: Another goddamn Callihan rouse….they were gonna run Liam Wood down and end his career….
JT: Daniel Reilly still might succeed….
Daniel Reilly scrapes the chair on the floor, watching Wood crawling, and then he draws the chair back, looking to crush Wood’s skull against the side of the car…
RJ: LIAM WOOD AIN’T PLAYING TONIGHT!
Wood ducks under the chairshot and uses Reilly’s forward momentum to lift him up into a flapjack and smashes him across the bonnet of the car. Kelsey and Drake Callihan watch on in horror as Wood grabs Reilly’s head and smashes it down onto the car before dragging him up onto the roof….
JT: MANSON DRIVER….LIAM WOOD MAY HAVE JUST ENDED DANIEL REILLY….
Kelsey’s screams fill the air of the parking lot as Wood glares at them and then drills Reilly on top of the car, crushing the roof underneath them…
RJ: Earlier tonight we saw Liam Wood storm an EWF fan forum and take out some of his former tormentors….now he has taken out Daniel Reilly….Drake Callihan is out of options and well and truly “Against the Wall”…
Wood just kneels on the car and stares at Drake and Kelsey before he climbs down. Kelsey stands in front of her father but Wood merely shakes his head and backs away, pointing at his watch as he does so…
JT: Liam Wood letting Drake Callihan know that his time is running out…
The scene changes back to the “gym” and Tyler Roth has just smashed Marty Helms through a glass panel at the side of the cable machine. There are shards of glass on the floor as Helms crawls around, blood running from his arms…
Roth: “Against the Wall”, this all comes to an end, Marty…..I know you enjoyed your little trip down memory lane earlier but you didn’t heed your own advice….you remember what I did to you, you remember how I destroyed you and then tipped that ambulance over, leaving your career in the balance….
And now you want to face me in a match where we have no rules? A match where I can do all that and a whole lot more….a match where you don’t get protected by the rules….a match when I get to expose you for the fake “bada55” that you really are…
You can kiss goodbye to your championship reign….in fact why don’t we just end this all now…
*Helms is trying to crawl across the floor as Roth closes the distance on him and suddenly Helms throws weight lifting powder into Roth’s face. He then grabs a dumbbell and slams it into Roth’s gut before crashing it across the top of his head, cutting Roth and causing blood to run freely down his face…..Roth grunts in pain as Helms punts him in the ribs…
Helms: Always too much to (beeping) say…...chance to finish the job but just keep running your (beeping) mouth….
*Helms makes his way over to his kitbag and then he makes his way back over toward Roth. Roth has dragged himself up onto a weights bench as Helms slaps handcuffs on him, locking him to the bar….
RJ: This is bad…
JT: Beyond bad…
Helms: See, Tyler….I showed everyone that video tonight so that they understand that what happens at “Against the Wall” is more than justified….I don’t want to hear any pi55ing and moaning when I break every last bone in your body….
*Roth tries to get up but Helms grabs his head and lashes it against the weights bar before producing another set of handcuffs and locking Roth’s other arm to the other side of the bar.
RJ: Tyler Roth is completely at the mercy of Marty Helms here…
JT: And mercy is not something Marty Helms has a lot of…
Helms: See when we was fighting for the gold, I had tunnel vision….everything else was irrelevant because everyone knows that being champion was all that mattered, it consumed me….but when continued to pursue me, when you questioned my legitimacy as a champion, when you tried to take me out again….that’s when it clicked in my head, that’s when the lightbulb came on and everything came flooding back…..
You tried to end my career…..and you’re out here telling everyone that I (beeped) up because I let you walk away….but the hypocrisy should be biting you in the a55 about now because had you been as bad as you say you are, I wouldn’t have even been around to win the strap you do desperately wanted….
I do remember when you jumped me…..not once but twice in the same night….you teamed up with that red haired b1tch and tried to take me out….you cost me the 6CW Championship and then you sabotaged my ambulance and tried to finish me off...But newsflash…
*Helms kneels down near Roth but out of the way of his legs
Helms: You (beeped) up…
*Roth is glaring at Helms with a real dislike
Helms: So here, right now….with you all so helpless….this would be the perfect time, don’t you think, to get even?
I’d say now would be the right time to strike…
*Helms stands down and he rummages in his bag again, this time producing a night stick
Helms: Had this bag in here all night because I knew you’d come looking for me, you predictable piece of (beep)…..
But the difference between me and you, Tyler, is I don’t need to spring attacks….like all of those years ago when you attacked me from behind or whilst I was strapped to a stretcher….
Don’t get me wrong I am beyond tempted to break your face right now, leave just enough left to finish off at “Against the Wall”…
But that’s not what makes me, me…...for all your bravado as the MMA king, wrecking machine, unbeatable warrior….beating you beyond all recognition in our last man standing match is what drives me….proving once and for all that you just don’t measure up is the only goal in my head….
Plus…
*Helms is smirking now
Helms: I have so much planned for you at “Against the Wall” and I want you to appreciate it fully, I want you to be able to take it all in….I want you to enjoy your final night in this company…
*Roth is raging, his chest heaving, as blood continues to run down the side of his head
Helms: It really is going to be spectacular and I promise you will never, ever forget it…..just know that when it’s all said and done, and the smoke clears and the dust settles….that’s it, you won’t be coming back….nobody comes back when I’m finished with them.
*Helms twirls the night stick in his hand now and he places it under Roth’s chin, lifting his head. He laughs again
Helms: I guess you don’t need both of your hands though…
*CRACK…..Roth’s yells of pain fill the air as Helms suddenly smashes the night stick down against the wrist bone on Roth’s right hand and a crunching, snapping noise can be heard. Helms has a violent, satisfied smile on his face as he leaves the room. Roth is just slumped against the bench, trying to control his breathing.
RJ: I knew this was going to be a huge mistake….I get what JJ Johnson wanted to do but this isn’t the one………….Liam Wood has destroyed Daniel Reilly…..Marty Helms looks to have just shattered Tyler Roth’s hand…..Eddy Kent has left Uryu in a heap backstage….
JT: And we still have mayhem out here at ringside…

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
The cameras shoot back to ringside as Scott Harris is fighting with two of Johnny Oko’s “guards” up on the stage. One looks for a yakuza kick but Harris ducks it and then snaps off an overhead belly to belly throw that sends the “guard” crashing against the titantron structure (think Kurt Angle vs Shane at KOTR ‘01).
RJ: My lord...Johnny Oko’s man may have a broken neck from that impact…
JT: AND AGAIN!
The second guard looks for a superkick as Harris gets up but he catches his foot and spins him around before locking arms around his waist and launches him backwards with a German suplex into the reinforced glass panel, leaving him slumped next to his ally…
RJ: Harris just destroyed both of Oko’s “guard”….
JT: And now he’s heading back down to the ring to get him some of Oko….
RJ: OKO JUST CLEANED OUT O’CALLAGHAN!
O’Callaghan has taken out his guards as well and he has one in the “sharpshooter” when Johnny Oko runs in from the side and nails the “K-Oko” (claymore) on OC, sending him rolling from the ring. Harris is in the ring now and he lashes chops into Oko’s chest and looks for an Irish whip but Oko spins inside and lifts him onto his shoulders….
JT: ODE TO TAKA…
Harris fights off and he grabs Oko’s arm for the “Shot in the Dark” (Olympic slam) but Oko jumps out the back and shoves Harris away…
RJ: Dammit, Mike Hill…
Hill is back up on the apron and lands an over the top kick that lashes into Harris’ face. Harris staggers back as Oko drills him with a backstabber. Oko stares down at Harris and then heads to the corner…
JT: Johnny Oko suddenly has a big opportunity….and a chance to take an advantage into the semi-finals…
RJ: And he knows JJ Johnson isn’t in the building so he can take as many liberties as he likes….
JT: TALK ABOUT LIBERTIES!!!
Harris is back up and he sprints up the ropes, grabbing Oko, and he delivers a huge “Shot in the dark” from the top. Oko rolls from the ring as Harris tries to stop him…
RJ: Harris felt he may have had a chance to actually win this match….
Mike Hill rushes in the ring and he throws Harris through the ropes to the outside. Harris gets back up and he looked annoyed but Hill merely smirks at him and beckons for Harris to come at him. Harris takes a step forward but then stops…
JT: Harris has taken his eye off of Cameron Faith…
RJ: He should know better…
Faith is back in the ring and he is waiting in the corner. Hill continues to talk trash to Scott Harris but then he turns around…
JT: ACT OF FAITH!
Faith looks for the superkick but Hill ducks it and swipes his legs. He turns Faith over for the liontamer but Faith swivels his hips and throws his opponent across the ring. They get back up and Hill springboards off the ropes and lands a tornado DDT….he mocks the crowd and then points to the ropes…
RJ: Mike Hill looking to send a message before “Against the Wall”…..
On the outside Johnny Oko has pulled his “Katana” from one of his Geishas, who has walked through the audience, and he seems to be preparing to attack Scott Harris when Harris nails him with a codebreaker out of nowhere. Oko slumps back across the announce table as Harris gets up and locks the “Sharpshooter” in…
JT: Johnny Oko was going to take serious liberties with Scott Harris there but Harris had him scouted…
RJ: And now Harris is sending a message…
The crowd are cheering as Scott Harris sits back into the “sharpshooter”, leaving Oko in agony on the table. Back in the ring and Mike Hill looks for the “lionsault” but Cameron Faith drives his knees up into the gut. Faith crawls back to his feet…
JT: ACT OF FAITH….GOT HIM….
RJ: He lands that on Hill in 12 days and we have a new European Champion….
JT: BLADE OF THE RUINED KING….WHERE ON EARTH!
Faith lands the superkick on Hill and leaves him flat. Faith drops to his knees and is about to make the cover when Marty Helms comes down the ramp and destroys Faith the flying knee to the back of the skull. Scott Harris releases the submission on Oko and stands up on the table as Helms glares at him and covers Faith…

JT: But the 6WF Champion had one more message to send….and I guess that one goes out to anyone of thinking they can challenge him…
“Remedy” is screaming out as Marty Helms continues to kneel over Cameron Faith and the referee raises his arm up in the air. Scott Harris retains his position on the announce tables and stares over at Helms…
JT: Helms knew the contenders for the “Road to Royalty” were out here….he knows those men will have one eye on a world title shot at Beachfront Brawl...so he came out here and made his position very clear…
RJ: I’m still having trouble processing all we have seen here in this main event….Wood and Reilly….Uryu and Kent….Roth and Helms….all of this at ringside…
JT: But you know, RJ, there was one man we didn’t see….
RJ: Huh? Oh you’re absolutely right…
RJ: My lord...Johnny Oko’s man may have a broken neck from that impact…

The scene goes backstage once more as Eddy Kent is still pacing in front of Uryu, who is being tended to by medics. Kent has finally decided he is going to spring one more assault on the 6CW Champion and prepares for the “Genesis” kick again when a figure steps in front of him…
Kent: The hell do you want….?
GazzyD just glares at Kent, refusing to move from his position in front of Uryu. Kent sneers at Gazzy and then backs away, leaving the scene. Gazzy slowly turns as Uryu looks up at him. The show ends with Gazzy taking a look at the 6CW Championship on the floor and then he stares back at Uryu Ishida.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 10th July 2023 (Episode 8)
*Hours after the show has finished and everyone has gone home we hear footsteps down a corridor before the sound of a door being unlocked. We see the "6CWF Boardroom" door open and a shadow move inside. The figure slowly walks to the front of the table and sits themselves down at the head. We see a picture on the table of JJ Johnson, Brandi and their children. The figure turns the picture over, face down, and then looks around the office with a dark and sinister smile. Clarke James is at one with the darkness as the scene ends.
