6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*The show goes live on air with a five minute recap of the major talking points from the “From the Ashes” live event. We are then ringside as the cameras pan around the Birmingham Bowl and we are introduced to Jeff Thadeus and RJ. They give us a brief rundown on what to expect from tonight but they admit that everything is very much up in the air depending on decisions that will be made by the Board and VIP Promotions following the conclusion of last week’s show.
*Huge ovation as JJ Johnson is live inside the Bowl. He looks stressed as he makes his way to ringside, his usual bouncy demeanour is missing. He thanks the crowd for coming out but he needs to get straight down to business and that means talking about “From the Ashes”. JJ starts by telling us that Acer has been placed on “suspension” by VIP Promotions following last week pending an investigation and a hearing, the hearing will take place next week. JJ says he is unsure why the hearing has been delayed but that was the collective decision.
*This brings out Clarke James. Clarke James says it’s been a really rough few weeks for him and after “From the Ashes” his mental health has taken a real pounding. CJ really plays the victim and says he feels there is a vendetta against him and he has had to seek professional guidance. He says it was hard enough having his best friend, JJ Johnson, turning against him but now even the whole of 6CWF management are breaking the rules and interjecting themselves in his business...which is taking its toll on him. JJ looks on in disbelief as Clarke James tells us that he contacted VIP promotions through his intermediary and that is why the hearing has been delayed. CJ says he will be there next week to present his evidence and he hopes justice will be served.
*JJ says CJ got some balls and he’s got some front. Trying to flip this to make himself look the victim. But JJ gets the game, and he understands business so VIP can sort this out next week, JJ tells Clarke he’ll be there at the hearing too. But now he’s glad CJ is out here because JJ promised that here tonight CJ would face his “punishment” for all the (beep) he’s pulled in the last month.
*CJ and JJ are both in the ring staring at one another when one by one we get Tyler Roth, Scott Harris, Cameron Faith and finally GazzyD out on the stage. JJ is smiling at the expression on Clarke James’ face as he tells him that tonight he’s booked himself a little 4 on 1 handicap match to start the show. He tells Clarke James that this what they call “running a train” and he is going to pull up a seat and watch.
*Roth, Harris, Gazzy and Faith all prepare to walk to ringside when Alex Walker comes out. Walker looks apologetic as he rushes to ringside and begins to consult with JJ. JJ doesn’t look happy by what he is hearing but Clarke James’ smile returns.
*JJ glares at CJ and then raises a mic. He apologises to Roth, Harris, Faith and Gazzy but it seems that the match has been cancelled. Apparently VIP Promotions want any “action” postponed until after the hearing so that means no punishment. No action whatsoever. They also have granted Clarke James the night off as a “mental health” day.
*CJ is all smiles as he looks at all his “would be” punishers and then slowly climbs from the ring. He stops to stare at JJ for a few seconds and then walks backstage. JJ is looking furious and Alex Walker apologies to him as the scene comes to an end and we head to a quick break.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*Back live and JJ Johnson is in the backstage area. He is apologising to Tyler Roth, Scott Harris, Cameron Faith and GazzyD about tonight and them not having a match. He appreciates them stepping up when he asked and promises that all of them will have matches next week. Alex Walker then walks into shot and he apologises to JJ again but JJ waves him off and says he appreciates Walker’s help right now and is glad to have someone who knows how all this corporate (beep) works. Walker assures JJ that no board in the land could come down on CJ’s side but they are going to need to jump through all the hoops unfortunately. JJ says Walker has been a godsend this week with Brandi being back in America but Walker says it is his honour and the least he can do after JJ and Brandi have brought his son to work here in 6CWF. JJ says Cody Walker is a “hell of a talent” and he’s looking forward to him making an impact here tonight.
*The scene changes and the cameras are trying to get inside Johnny Oko’s dressing room but his “guards” will not let them pass. The doors slowly open as Oko walks out, his expression dark. All of Oko’s “guards” seem on edge and concerned with the wrath of their “Oyabun”. He gives them no eye contact at all as he begins his walk to ringside.

Bout 1
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Cody Walker vs Johnny Oko
JT: I honestly don’t know if I have ever seen a more impressive debut in terms of array of moves we are seeing…
RJ: Cody Walker really is a living marvel….nineteen years old and he is putting on a show in his 6CWF debut…
JT: You can see why he was rated so highly by the WWE….
RJ: And he’s now looking to put the seal on this performance and advance in this tournament…
Walker makes his way to the corner and he leaps up top. He claps his hands together, working with the crowd, and then he smiles at the cheers. He waits for Oko to rise before launching toward him…
JT: SHOOTING STAR DDT!
The flashbulbs go off and there are amazed faces as Walker throws himself through the air. Oko manages to roll aside at the final minute but Walker, displaying his amazing athleticism, lands out on his feet. He staggers slightly but then he charges off the ropes and sprints back…
RJ: OH MY!
Oko is ready for him on the comeback and he uses Walker’s momentum to tilt-a-whirl him into a shoulderbreaker. He immediately turns Walker over onto his stomach and applies the Fujiwara armbar…
JT: The Yakuza applied….Walker’s arm already in a bad way and this submission is lethal….
RJ: Brave, brave display by the youngster but I’m not sure how long he lasts here…
Walker tries to squirm his body against the submission but he’s trapped, Oko sat on his back, as his arm is wrenched at a horrific angle. The referee kneels down to check on Walker’s condition and within a minute the rookie has tapped his hand against the mat…
JT: Very impressive debut from Cody Walker but he’s come up short against one of the most brutal stars in the world today….Johnny Oko has shown his levels here tonight and he is advancing in the “Road to Royalty” tournament….
RJ: Oko into the quarter finals and that was a good display…..he had an unorthodox, unknown opponent who really put it on him but he’s come out on top…
JT: Time to break the damn hold though…
Oko keeps the submission applied for nearly thirty seconds after the bell, just to prove a point, before finally relenting and releasing Walker. Walker cradles his arm and rolls away as the referee raises Oko’s arm….
RJ: Johnny Oko really has no regard for anyone….
JT: I’m surprised by that though….he’s actually calling off his guards….
Walker staggers to the ringside barrier and Oko’s “henchmen” are eyeing him hungrily, plotting their revenge, but Oko clicks his fingers at them and orders them into the ring. They immediately obey and flank their leader…
RJ: I’m surprised too….but perhaps Oko has learned not to go fully gung ho at all times, it certainly cost him at “From the Ashes”…
JT: But rest assured that this man and his penchant for causing pain and suffering will rear its head again, probably when we least expect it…
RJ: And anyone who stands in his way during this “Road to Royalty” tournament will need to be beyond vigilant…
JT: King Oko? What do you reckon?
RJ: I reckon it is a real possibility….he’s already known as the “Half Blood King” in his native Japan, don’t count him out from conquering another Empire…
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Cody Walker vs Johnny Oko
*Johnny Oko is the first to arrive. He is, as usual, flanked by his guards. His two “geishas” present his Katana before he makes his way down to the ring and climbs inside. The commentators are talking about Oko’s potential wrath following the disappointment of not leaving “From the Ashes” with championship gold.
*We are then treated to to the elaborate entrance of 6CW’s newest recruit who enters to “One of a kind” (RVD’s old theme music). Cody “Air” Walker is presented to us by the commentary team as Alex Walker’s son. Cody was a standout at the WWE Performance Center and was doing great on NXT but given his connections with the 6CWF Board he decided to sign for the company after he met with JJ & Brandi Johnson during their last trip to the USA.
*Jeff Thadeus gives us the lowdown on Walker’s style and says we should brace ourselves for one of the most exciting young talents in the business. Johnny Oko looks less than impressed by his opponent’s arrival and just stares across at him from the opposite side of the ring.
*We get a look at the brackets of the “Road to Royalty” tournament as the commentators talk about what a huge opportunity this is for everyone involved and a world championship opportunity at Beachfront Brawl in Florida at the beginning of September.
*The bell sounds and there is a small feeling out process before they engage in a lockup centre ring. Oko quickly twists the arm of Walker and looks to manipulate the joints but Walker runs to the ropes and springs onto them before flipping off into an armdrag takedown. They get back up and Walker forward rolls into Oko’s path before leaping into him with a spinning back elbow takedown that knocks Oko onto the apron. Walker runs to the corner and springs off the turnbuckle before twisting back with a heel kick to Oko’s jaw, sending him collapsing off the apron.
*Walker works the crowd and then he runs off the opposite side and returns with a front flip over the top rope but one of Oko’s guards pulls him out of the way so Walker collides against the solid floor instead. The crowd are booing as Oko grabs Walker by the arm and pulls him up, dragging him into the ring-post, really cracking his shoulder. Oko then scoops Walker onto his shoulder (running powerslam style) before running him into the ringpost again, shoulder first.
*Oko throws Walker back in the ring. He climbs in himself and he beckons Walker up before drilling him with a jumping armbreaker. He quickly tries to roll over and apply a “Fujiwara” armbar but Walker grabs the back of his trousers and pulls him into a schoolboy for a very close two count.
*They get back up and Oko lashes a furious martial arts kick to the stomach of Walker. He then grabs the injured arm and wrenches it again before whipping him to the corner. He follows but Walker leaps onto the top rope and he backflips, landing on Oko’s shoulders and twists back into an amazing poisonrana. Oko rolls toward the corner as Walker runs toward the turnbuckle and uses the top rope to propel himself up into an imploding 450 splash for another two.
*The crowd are clearly sold big on Walker’s performance thus far, chanting his name. Walker tries to pull Oko up into a “falcon arrow” but his arm is causing him issues. Oko is able to slide out the side and he aims another brutal martial arts kick to the side of Walker’s shoulder before he runs off the ropes and returns with a throwback neckbreaker (ala Charlotte Flair) to his kneeling opponent. Walker kicks out on two.
*Oko stands in the corner and he motions of Walker to stand. He runs out for the “K-Oko” but is met by an incredible dropsault. Walker follows up with a standing 450 for a two. Walker heads to the corner and he walks along the ropes before reaching the middle and he corkscrews off, landing the heel of his boot across the top of Oko’s head as he tries to stand. Oko shows his toughness again to get the shoulder up.
*Oko’s guards pull their “Oyabun” from the ring to try and help him. Walker runs to the ropes and he front flips over the top rope, this time taking out one of the guards. The second tries to nail a superkick but Walker ducks it and springs off the ringside barrier before flying back with a double knee strike to the chest that sends him crashing back against the steel steps.
*Walker throws Oko back in the ring and then nails a springboard leg lariat (ala Matt Cardona) for a two count. They rise and Oko tries for a snap kick but Walker catches and nails a stepover heel kick. Walker heads for the corner and he launches for “coffin drop” but Oko moves and Walker lands heavy. Oko nails the “Ode to Taka” (Michinoku Driver) but Walker kicks out.
*Oko ushers Walker up and he scoops him up for a shoulderbreaker but Walker kicks his legs and drops behind. He pushes Oko off the ropes and floors him with a spinning heel kick as he returns. He drags Oko up and looks for an Irish whip but Oko reverses. Walker handsprings into the ropes and returns with a moonsault takedown. Walker then hits “rolling thunder” but only gets two.
*Walker looks down on his opponent and then changes tact and tries to apply an STF. Oko turns out on his back and kicks at the bad arm of Walker, repeatedly, until he releases. Oko scrambles back up and he looks for the “K-Oko” but Walker ducks it again before going low with a leg swipe heel kick. Walker backflips into a double foot stomp.
JT: I honestly don’t know if I have ever seen a more impressive debut in terms of array of moves we are seeing…
RJ: Cody Walker really is a living marvel….nineteen years old and he is putting on a show in his 6CWF debut…

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*Diablo is running things in the “Talent Relations” office when Marty Helms enters. Helms’ face is still bruised from his encounter with Tyler Roth but he seems in good spirits with the 6WF Championship over his shoulder. Helms cuts Diablo off and says he wants to get a few things straight as the world champion. He isn’t playing second fiddle to the “Make a Wish” Champion, Uryu Ishida….if they expect him to go out there for his “title celebration” first then they can forget it. He either gets main event billing or nothing at all….Diablo says he’ll pass it on. Helms then wants to know the deal with the “Road to Royalty” because it is clear he is the only “King” around here. Diablo tells him that the tournament runs to “Against The Wall” and the winner will receive a world championship match at “Beachfront Brawl”. Helms says he wants in...Diablo says those decisions are out of his hands but Helms isn’t interested. Helms says he wants in and he wants the title shot. Helms promises to become “Undisputed” by time they leave Florida. Diablo admires Helms’ confidence but there is the small matter of his next challenger….Helms says he doesn’t give a (beep) and whoever it is will be mangled just like the rest.
*Scene change and Cody Walker is given applause in the back by some of the workers. He looks disheartened by his loss but then Alex Walker heads into shot. Cody doesn’t look particularly pleased to see his father. Alex Walker is trying hard to bond with his son but we find out that their relationship is fragmented and that Cody has spent most of his life growing up with his mum, who is separate from Alex. Alex asks how Cody’s mother is but he shuts that down and tells his father not to ask questions he doesn’t care about. Cody says he’s here to create his own legacy and not live in the shadow of his father. Walker looks disappointed and hurt as Cody walks away. Walker then asks a backstage worker if Drake Cabowers has arrived yet but they haven’t seem him
*Liam Wood is backstage with Jack Reynolds. Wood is clearly in a fired up mood and he once again reiterates that Daniel Reilly and The Callihans are going to pay for this vendetta they have started against him. Wood dismisses the notion that he is overlooking tonight and assures everyone that winning “Road to Royalty” is his priority. Wood says it’s another accolade missing from his resume and he will do whatever he can to become “King” of 6CWF and move a step closer to getting back to the summit of this business. But if Callihan or Reilly get between him and his goal, he will end them.
*We see Cassidy in his locker-room and he is admiring himself in the mirror before turning to a side-table where get a glimpse of a number of different branding irons, each of which carries the name of one of the “deadly sins”.
*We see a car arrive in the parking lot and Drake gets out. He is unshaven and looks worse for wear as he closes his car door and we get a shot of his right hand, where it becomes apparent that his fourth finger is missing, He looks up at the Birmingham Bowl and sighs as he sees two of Oko’s “guards” coming toward him.
.*Geoff Steel arrives and is met by Rex Adamson. The two men stare one another down and Rex reminds Steel that he had a chance at “From the Ashes” to call it quits but now fate has thrown them together and Steel will have to find out the hard way. Steel tells Rex he “can’t wait” before shouldering past

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
Bout 2
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Cassidy vs Liam Wood
JT: TOO BUSY PLAYING THE DAMN FOOL!
Cheers ring out as Cassidy turns away from the fans and is nailed by a huge spear through the middle ropes that send both men crashing onto the elevated rampway. The referee is watching from the inside and begins to count…
JT: A double count out here and neither man would advance…
RJ: Gifting someone a bye in the next round…
Both men are slow to reach their feet. Cassidy looks for a right hand but Wood blocks it and then lands a huge knee to the stomach. Cassidy doubles over and Wood gutwrenches him up into a powerbomb before throwing him over the ropes and back into the ring, Cassidy lands with a hard thud…
JT: Cassidy landed hard there, that was serious impact….
RJ: He landed on the side of his neck and shoulder, the referee doing the right thing here checking him over…
JT: We don’t like to see anyone hurt here….WAIT JUST A DAMN MINUTE!
The referee is kneeling next to Cassidy, checking on his condition, as Wood readies to get back in the ring. Kelsey Callihan suddenly skips out onto the stage and Wood turns to face her, looking annoyed…
RJ: Kelsey has no business here…
JT: The whole Callihan family seem to have made Liam Wood their business…..AND SO HAS THAT MAN!
Boos all around as Reilly leaps through the crowd. Wood is still preoccupied with the appearance of Kelsey. Reilly creeps up the steps onto the elevated ramp and he spins Wood around before drilling him the RKO on the solid steel grates. Reilly slithers away with a grin whilst Kelsey Callihan bobs with glee!
RJ: This isn’t right…
The referee, who has missed all of this, is satisfied that Cassidy is ok to continue so he stands up. He looks confused to see Wood down and out on the stage but has no choice but to start counting…
JT: Just like at “From the Ashes”….Daniel Reilly has struck from behind and left Liam Wood out cold…
RJ: One of the most brutal RKO’s I have ever seen…..Daniel Reilly is well and truly in with the Callihans…
JT: And you have to wonder what he has been promised for his services…
RJ: Liam Wood has been screwed again here and he is going to be furious when he comes round….
JT: He promised to end Daniel Reilly after what he did last week….I shudder to think what he will do when he gets his hands on him…
The referee’s count is at eight as Wood shows some form of movement. The fans are cheering him on and willing him to get back in the ring……………..9…….Wood reaches out for the ropes but then slumps down again………….10!
JT: What a robbery….
RJ: And Cassidy has absolutely no idea how this has happened but he just beat Liam Wood on his “Proving Grounds” debut….he advances to the quarter finals…
JT: This bout was finely poised….both men had put a lot of energy in….but we were robbed of a proper finish….Daniel Reilly, at the behest of Callihan, has sabotaged Liam Wood’s quest to become “King of 6CWF”…
RJ: And I bet Callihan, Kelsey and Reilly are all feeling proud of themselves right now…
JT: They probably will until Wood catches up with them….another man feeling proud right now is Cassidy….only his second match back and he has another victory under his belt….it really is impressive stuff from this kid…
RJ: I mean the decision was handed to him on a plate but he won’t care…
The ringside doctor is checking on Wood, who looks bleary eyed, as Cassidy has his arm raised in victory. Cassidy poses in front of the cameras and tells the world “I am your God now”….
JT: Big display here for Cassidy….major disappointment for Liam Wood….very contrasting moods at the end of this one….tell you what though, I’d love to see these two go again…
RJ: The styles clicked nicely and I’m sure we will see this again one day…
JT: Another action packed bout here on Proving Grounds….still so much more to come folks so don’t go anywhere.
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Cassidy vs Liam Wood
*Back out at ringside and the crowd are hyped for another “Road to Royalty” qualifying match. Cassidy makes his brash entrance to begin and is met by tumultuous boos. We get a recap video of Cassidy’s debut at “From the Ashes” and his win over Daniel Reilly. We then see the heinous attack on Finlay in the backstage area and the branding iron being put to use. The commentators talk about Cassidy’s impact in such a short space of time and wonder if he can add to that tonight by taking a step closer to becoming “King of 6CWF”
*Liam Wood then makes his way to ringside and is met by a mixed review. There are still audible boos but it is clear that Wood’s fanbase is growing once more. Jeff Thadeus believes the returns of Drake Callihan and the blindsides from Daniel Reilly have helped to get the fans back on track. The commentators talk about Wood’s quest to achieve accolades he never has before and that the “crown” on offer will certainly be of appeal to him.
*Wood and Cassidy stare across at one another and Cassidy is wearing an arrogant smile. They then lockup in the centre of the ring. Cassidy quickly tries to twist the arm of Wood but Wood kicks out to the gut, doubling his opponent over, and then bounces back off the ropes and returns with a big clothesline. Cassidy gets back up and Wood grabs his wrist and pulls him forward into a flapjack...Wood holds Cassidy in the air and shifts his feet so that he can really slam his opponent down into the mat.
*Wood quickly hooks the arms of Cassidy and tries for the “Manson Driver” but Cassidy counters with a backdrop. They get back up and Cassidy looks for the “Judas Effect” but Wood sidesteps and then chokeslams his foe into a backbreaker for a two count.
*Wood grabs the legs of Cassidy and prepares for a “giant swing” but Cassidy grabs his head and pulls him over into a cradle for a nearfall. They scramble back up and Wood rushes forward but Cassidy drops and pulls down the ropes, sending Wood tumbling to the outside. Cassidy follows and he clubs Wood from behind. He drags him toward the announce area and looks to suplex him onto one of the tables but Wood kicks his legs and then counters. He lifts Cassidy up before front suplexing him on top of the Spanish announce table
*Wood is thinking of taking more action but he hears the referee’s count at six and he returns to the ring. The count reaches nine before Cassidy is just about able to throw himself under the bottom rope. Wood stalks his opponent and then runs in for the “Psycho Crusher” but Cassidy moves and then snaps off a “side effect” neckbreaker for a two count!
*Cassidy beckons Wood up and the he forward rolls into a blockbuster takedown. He laughs off the boos of the crowd and then attempts a “lionsault” but Wood avoids. Cassidy lands on his feet and then runs at Wood for a spear but Wood sidesteps and sends him against the turnbuckle before nailing a snap dragon suplex. Cassidy rolls over onto his knees and Wood nails a superkick for a two count.
*Wood heads for the top rope and he beckons for Cassidy to stand before leaping off for a flying lariat, only to be met in mid-flight by a dropkick to the face. Wood staggers back up and is drilled by a leaping STO for a two count. Cassidy has some choice words for the referee and then he drags Wood up. He looks for a package piledriver but Wood swipes his legs and catapults him into the turnbuckle. Wood chases in and lands a dropkick to the back of his opponent. He lifts him up high and nails a top rope back suplex but again it only gets a two.
*The commentators talk up Cassidy’s resilience as Wood signals for the end. He drags Cassidy up and whips him off the ropes before popping him up for the “World Eater”. Cassidy, somehow, manages to catch Wood’s knee on the way down and he spins him around and nails a “zigzag” neckbreaker from nowhere but it is only good enough for a two count.
*Cassidy stalks Wood’s every move and then tries to synch in a sleeper hold but Wood drops to a knee and throws Cassidy over his shoulders. They get back up and Wood pops Cassidy up and catches him in a powerbomb position before dropping backward and guillotines him across the top rope. He drags Cassidy away from the ropes and heads for the corner. Wood lands with a huge elbow drop but it is only good for the nearfall.
*Even Wood seems surprised by the toughness of Cassidy but he refuses to rest on his laurels. He drags Cassidy up and whips him across the ring. Wood lowers his head for a backdrop but Cassidy stops short and nails a facebuster across his knee (ala Triple H). The impact staggers Wood back into the ropes but then he shoots forward with a huge lariat that spins Cassidy inside out and leaves both men down.
*The crowd are behind Wood as both men struggle up. Cassidy leaps quick for an RKO but Wood pushes him away and then lands a boot to the stomach. Wood attempts the “Manson Driver” but Cassidy struggles free and then pulls Wood in close. He boots him in the gut and then attempts a “Downward Spiral” but Wood elbows his way free. Cassidy staggers into the corner and Wood lands a huge yakuza kick (ala Sami Zayn). Cassidy stumbles and drops to his knees in the middle of the ring. Wood runs out and looks for the “Psycho Crusher” again but Cassidy moves and then rolls Wood up for a two count. They get back up and Cassidy runs at Wood but is backdropped over the top rope onto the apron. Wood is unawares that Cassidy landed out on his feet. Cassidy is mocking the crowd from the apron.
JT: TOO BUSY PLAYING THE DAMN FOOL!

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*Mike Hill walks into the “Talent Relations” office and he wants to know why he is defending his title against Lex Hart tonight. Diablo says Lex had at least two falls at “From the Ashes” and given his history with Hill the clamour to see them square off tonight was huge. Hill doesn’t seem convinced and Diablo tells him that JJ expected Hill’s complaints so he wanted him to know that the title defense is doubling as a “Road to Royalty” qualifier. Hill doesn’t seem completely appeased but nods his head and walks off.
*Lex is training for his match when Steel walks into shot. Lex rises, expecting a fight, but Steel wants Hart to know that there’s no hard feelings for the chairshot last week. Steel says he knows how Hill can get under your skin, he knows better than most, and he hopes that Lex takes him out tonight and wins the title. Hart says he intends on it but then Steel stops him from walking off. Steel tells Hart that if he does win tonight, the first shot is his.
*Jack Reynolds looks surprised and scared as he has been invited to interview Johnny Oko. Oko is of few words but promises to rule 6CWF with “Iron Fist” when he wins the “Road to Royalty” tournament. He says 6CWF is run by fools and lacks the necessary direction. Jack Reynolds asks about Oko’s motivations for returning. Oko says “Chikara”.
*Uryu Ishida is shown arriving at the arena and the crowd are going wild inside the building. Uryu is all smiles as he takes out the 6CW Championship belt and throws it over his shoulder before walking inside. GazzyD is just walking past as Uryu enters the building. Gazzy stares at Uryu and then at the title belt. There are no words exchanged and then Gazzy walks away. Many backstage workers hurry over to congratulate Uryu.
*JJ Johnson is sat in his office and is trying to make a call but it doesn’t seem anyone is answering. He sighs and places the phone down on the desk. We see the screen “Brandi (10)” and the unanswered icon next to it.
*An advert plays for Robin Reborn’s latest show "REBORN" on Amazon Prime once again. We then see that Robin Reborn is ringside for the show. There are some boos from the crowd but Reborn disregards them and shoos the fans away from him as he retakes his seat.
*Scott Harris and Marty Helms walk into one another backstage. Helms jokes that Harris’ loss at “From the Ashes” is because he associates himself with “losers” like Tyler Roth. Since the two of them became training partners it’s all been down hill. Harris fires back that the whole world knows Helms had to cheat the get the job done against Roth and everyone saw the lengths Kent had to stoop to in order to beat him. Harris says if Helms had a spine he’d run it back with Roth….or maybe even with Harris. Helms laughs and says Harris doesn’t deserve a chance at the big time but if he ever did, Helms would put him down for good. Harris looks at the 6WF Championship and says whether it’s him or Roth….that belt won’t be staying with Helms for long.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
Bout 3
6CWF European Championship
Mike Hill (c) vs Lex Hart
JT: I think Hill might be out after that knee….he took all of that…
RJ: Lex Hart has created an opening here for himself….he has the European Title in his mind…
JT: It may not be far away….he’s looking for the Triple Bypass!
Hart gives the signal to the audience and they go wild as Hart lands the first of the three moonsaults. He clambers back up and he springs onto the second turnbuckle before delivering the next one…
RJ: That’s two down….if he lands the big one then I think we have a new champion….
JT: HE LANDED IT…
RJ: What’s he doing?
Lex gets to the turnbuckle and he leaps onto the second turnbuckle before jumping to the top rope and he flips back for a perfect “BME” that seems to land clean across the chest of Mike Hill. Lex, however, rolls away and seems to be extremely dazed…
JT: He used the belt….look at the replays…
RJ: How is that title belt still in the ring?
JT: Hill dropped it in the corner when the match started and Lex attacked him, I guess the referee overlooked it…
RJ: And now Hill has used it to his damn advantage….
The replays show Hill reaching out to the corner and grabbing the title belt. Lex floats through the air and as he comes down, blocking the referee’s view, Hill holds up the belt so that Lex’s face crashes again it….
JT: By now I shouldn’t even be surprised….Hill will stoop to any level to get what he wants…
RJ: Some would say it is the mark of a champion…
JT: It’s certainly the mark of a cheat…..OVER THE HILL….FORGET IT!
Hill is back up, looking smug, and he drags a very dazed Lex up and nails the “diamond dust” in the centre of the ring. Hill just kneels there for a moment, grinning, and then he shakes his head…
RJ: What is he doing now? You’ve got it sewn up Hill, just make the damn cover…
JT: I think he wants full retribution…...this all began with Lex making Hill tap out, I think he wants to return the favour….
RJ: Hart isn’t even conscious right now…
Hill gets up, ignoring the referee’s pleas, and then he grabs Lex’s legs and turns him over into the “MHND” (liontamer). Lex is barely able to open his eyes and he soon slumps against the canvass. Hill’s face is full of determination as he screams at the referee “Ring the damn bell”…..the referee kneels down to check on Lex once more…
ding ding ding
JT: Lex didn’t tap….he couldn’t tap….but he is done here, no doubt about it…
RJ: Belt shot to the face followed by the “Over the Hill” which was then turned into a liontamer….I’m not sure anyone would have withstood that…
Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen….here is your winner…..AND STILL 6CWF European Champion…..Miiiikkkkkeeee Hiiiilllllll!
JT: You may not be a Mike Hill fan, most people aren’t, but it cannot be questioned that this man thrives during championship stakes….he does what it takes, whether legal or illegal, and that is why his career has been so successful…
RJ: Blatant cheating tonight from Hill, which comes as no surprise….and he is still the European Champion…..
JT: Perhaps, for now, this saga with Lex Hart has come to an end….Lex will have to return to the drawing board and figure out his next move….whereas Mike Hill moves onwards in search of his next challenger…
The referee is checking on Lex, who is still bleary eyed, as Hill kisses his championship belt and raises it in the air. The champion laughs off the boos of the crowd and then walks to the ropes. He mockingly pretends to kick dust off his boots onto Hart before climbing out onto the rampway and swaggering backstage. Lex rolls from the ring, looking disappointed, and then he sees Robin Reborn staring at him. Reborn is standing up as Lex makes his way over…
RJ: Sounded like Robin Reborn was talking a little trash there and Lex heard him…
JT: Lex not really in the mood right now…
RJ: MOOD JUST WORSENED!
Lex gets up to the barricade and he is asking Reborn what his problem is when Reborn slaps him in the face. Security quickly pile in to make sure Lex can’t get over the barricade and Reborn is ushered toward the back…
JT: What the hell was that? Robin Reborn isn’t signed here in 6CWF….
RJ: I know he’s doing a bunch of shows for Amazon Prime but he is not official talent right now…
JT: But he just put hands on Lex Hart and Lex is furious…
RJ: Lex just lost an opportunity to become European Champion and now he’s been slapped in the mouth by Robin Reborn, I don’t blame him here…
Lex continues to battle with security as we get a shot of Robin Reborn being pushed through the crowd by more guards.
6CWF European Championship
Mike Hill (c) vs Lex Hart
*We start off with a recap of all the history between these two men since the first episode of Proving Grounds. It documents the countless attacks from both sides and then Mike Hill winning the European Championship after Lex accidentally took out Geoff Steel with a steel chair. The commentators are hyping up what promises to be a great championship match.
*Lex is the first out to big cheers from the Birmingham crowd. Hart’s cuts and bruises from “From the Ashes” seem to have healed and he looks in a focused mood as he makes his way to ringside. RJ reminds us of Hart’s glittering career where he has reigned supreme as both a singles and tag team competitor. But at this later stage of his career, does he still have the fire to compete at the top level?. Robin Reborn is shown again at ringside and he has his eyes locked on Hart as the Canadian walks around the outside.
*Lex is pacing the ring as Mike Hill makes his entrance, the music drowned out by the boos of the crowd. Hill looks pleased with himself as he swaggers across the rampway and then leaps into the ring. Hill unstraps his championship and holds it in the air, staring at Lex as he does so. The commentators talk about how Mike Hill is one of the most decorated stars in professional wrestling history. He may want his respect from the fans, and in some ways he deserves it, but it is his ego that lets him down
*Hill turns to the corner and is taking the belt off his shoulder when Lex spins him around and unloads with right hands to get the match underway. Hart then tees off with huge knife edge chops to the chest, leaving the skin reddened, before he whips Hill across the opposite turnbuckle. Hill staggers back out and Lex knocks him down with a dropkick.
*Lex immediately tries to pull Hill up into a “jackhammer” but Hill floats over the back and shoves Hart into the ropes before knocking him down with a spinning heel kick on the return. He attempts a lionsault but Hart moves. Hill lands out on his feet and chases Hart but he sidesteps and sends the champion against the turnbuckle before landing a big back suplex driver for a two count.
*Lex beckons Hill up and attempts the “Flatline” (RKO) but Hill counters into a backslide for a two count. They scramble back up and Hart sidesteps and pushes Hill off the ropes before popping him into the air but Hill counters with a “hill-can-rana”. They get up again and Hill lands a front dropkick that sends Hart into the corner. He chases in and lands a stiff dropkick again before he lifts Hart up high. Hill attempts a top rope hurricanrana but Hart throws Hill off the ropes to the outside.
*The referee begins to count as Lex climbs down and goes to the outside. He bashes Hill’s head off the steel steps and then off the Spanish announce table. He grabs Hill’s arm and whips him back toward the steps but Hill leaps over them. Hart comes forward and Hill dropkicks the steps into his ribs, causing him to buckle in pain.
*Hill backs off and then runs up the steps and leaps into the air before drilling Lex with a tornado DDT on the solid floor. He gets back in the ring and demands the referee count. The fans look concerned but Lex makes it back on the count of eight. Hill stomps on him and then drags him up before nailing a a front faceplant suplex. He heads for the corner and then leaps into “Mike Time” (450 splash) but lands across the knees of Lex. Hart staggers back up and he nails a hat-trick of German suplexes for a two count.
*Lex gives a signal to the crowd and then runs off the ropes for the “Canadian Destroyer” but Hill counters with a backdrop. They get back up and Hill ducks a clothesline before springboarding off the ropes but Hart catches him on the comedown and spins him into a sambo suplex for another nearfall. Lex grabs Hill’s legs and attempts to lock in the sharpshooter but Hill thrashes and kicks out until Lex is sent staggering back into the ropes. Hill scrambles back up as Lex sprints at him and he drop toe holds him before trying for the liontamer. Hart uses his hips to sway from side to side and then launches Hill across the ring.
*Both men get back up and a slugfest ensues. Hart’s punches carry more weight and he rocks Hill back before whipping him across the ring. Lex lowers his head for a backdrop but Hill leaps over him and runs the opposite side and drills Hart on the comeback with a one-handed bulldog. This time Hill scores with the lionsault but Hart shows guts to kick out.
*Hill argues with the referee before screaming at Lex to get back up. Hart rises and Hill plants a backheel kick into his gut and attempts the “Over the Hill” but Lex catches him on his shoulders and then runs him into the corner and drops him across the top rope with “snake eyes”. Lex tears across to the adjacent ropes and returns with a huge leaping high knee which lands flush on the jaw of Mike Hill.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*Liam Wood is on the hunt for Daniel Reilly but nobody has seen him or The Callihans. Wood is on the warpath. One backstage runner says he saw Reilly and Kelsey in catering as Wood turns his attention there.
*O’Callaghan is live in the back with Clarissa. OC has his usual swagger and is talking up his chances of winning “Road to Royalty”. OC says he doesn’t give a damn who he has to face but promises he will be triumphant and this time around he will make good on every last bit of potential he has. Mike Hill swaggers into shot, the European Title over his shoulder, and he assures O’Callaghan that there’s a big difference between talking about it and being about it.
*Christy James has come to see GazzyD. Gazzy isn’t interested by Christy says it is time they talked. Christy wants to know if Gazzy wants their marriage to work. Gazzy can’t believe she would ask that. He holds Christy’s hands and stares into her eyes. He tells her he loves her, he always has, and Christy smiles. Gazzy says he could come over after the show or they could go for dinner but Christy says one step at a time and they still have sessions to complete. Gazzy withdraws now and is disgruntled. Says he can’t figure Christy out and everything has to be on her terms. Gazzy then says he doesn’t appreciate being used as JJ’s lackey earlier in his vendetta with Clarke James and he blames Christy for putting his name forward. Christy says it had nothing to do with her and now she’s angry too. Gazzy tells her to hurry off, he doesn’t’ want her to miss the big title celebration. Christy looks as though she has been slapped as she walks off. Gazzy throws his head back against the wall
*Scott Harris and Tyler Roth are training. Roth tells Harris they both need to move past the disappointment of last week and get back on track. Harris is in agreement when Eddy Kent interrupts. Kent didn’t realise it was “Loser Hour” in the gym but he’s happy to leave them to it. He says Roth and Harris are already so forgettable that they didn’t even have a spot for them on the card. Harris fires back that Kent doesn’t have a match either so how about they re-run last week but Kent laughs him off and says he has plans
*JJ has gathered Alex Walker, Diablo and Drake. JJ tells Drake he “looks like (beep)” and asks him if he needs to go home. Drake shakes his head and says it’s just a bug but Walker is eyeing him suspiciously. Christy enters and her eyes are red and puffy. JJ asks if she’s ok and she merely nods her head. JJ wants to address every issue.
*He lays out the cards for next week’s hearing and says they can’t deal with Clarke James until then. But he’s been on the phone with the Board at VIP Promotions and he’s confident they’ll reach a positive decision. Clarke James is gone for tonight so no more issues.
*Alex Walker brings up title challengers going forward and JJ says they’ll cast votes as ever and decisions will be made, plenty of contenders coming off the back of “From the Ashes”
*Diablo relays Marty Helms’ message about his “title celebration” as well as entering the “Road to Royalty”. JJ tells Diablo he will speak to Helms “personally” after this meeting. He says tonight they will end with five qualifiers for the “Road to Royalty” quarter finals which leaves three more matches next week to be announced in due course
*Alex Walker brings up “flouting of rules” and wants to address, in the main, Johnny Oko’s blatant misuse of his “guardsman” at “From the Ashes”. Drake looks agitated by the topic of conversation. Walker knows JJ has had a lot on but doesn’t think it’s a good look for the company to have matches overrun in that manner. JJ agrees and says he will look into it. Drake speaks up and says he is happy to take care of it. Walker raises his eyebrows but JJ nods and says Drake did good with the CJ security tapes so he trusts him to get this done.
*JJ also has heard a lot of disgruntlement about certain officials, mainly Ralph Santos. JJ says Santos came highly recommended and he turns to Alex Walker, who “personally vouched for him”. Walker promises JJ he will talk with Santos.
*JJ asks for any more business but there is none, he turns to Christy to check on her again and she assures JJ she is ok but she has to go and do something. She leaves the room and then so do Diablo and Drake. JJ turns to Alex Walker and he reiterates how thankful he is of Walker’s help. Walker claps JJ on the shoulder and says “no thanks necessary”.
*The scene changes to an unknown location. A little boy and girl are playing in a garden as the sun is drawing lower. They are called in by their mother and we hear her say that “Daddy is here”. The children are excited and they run inside as we see Acer in the window with a beautiful blonde haired woman. Acer picks up the little boy and then the little girl, both of whom hug him. The cameras pan outward and we see a dark car parked in the street. Clarke James is sat in the drivers’ seat, watching the house.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
Bout 4
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Daniel Reilly vs O’Callaghan
RJ: I believe he thought his reputation may precede him….but Liam Wood doesn’t give a damn about reputations….Reilly is aligned with Callighan which automatically makes him an enemy….
JT: COBRA CLUTCH!
Cheers all around as O’Callaghan is in no mood to wait around for the staredown to finish and he comes up behind Reilly to slap on the submission. Reilly tries to struggle against it, swaying his hips from side to side, but O’Callaghan uses all of his expertise and nous to drag Reilly down and he locks his legs around the waist…
RJ: This match is barely two minutes old but Reilly is trapped…
JT: Trapped against one of the greatest submission artists in history….O’Callaghan has this tight, he’s locked right around the windpipe…
RJ: This is done….
The cheers grow louder and “Run this town” blasts out as Reilly is forced to tap his hand to the mat and hands O’Callaghan the victory.
JT: Two minutes inside a wrestling ring and O’Callaghan has already booked his quarter final slot in the “Road to Royalty” tournament…
RJ: He may have been hoping for a little longer, to get rid of some of the potential ringrust, but the opportunity presented itself and he was not going to turn it down…
JT: Reilly was preoccupied, took his eye off the ball, and OC capitalised….
O’Callaghan laughs as he kneels for a moment and then climbs up, allowing the referee to raise his arm in victory. He heads over to the corner to celebrate as Liam Wood starts to walk across the ramp….
RJ: It seems Liam Wood is not content with just costing Reilly his place in the tournament…
JT: He has promised to be the end of Daniel Reilly in this company…
RJ: He may be about to make good on his word….Reilly is barely conscious, Wood has bad intentions in those eyes….
O’Callaghan climbs down off the ropes and he and Wood stare at one another from across the ropes. OC then smirks and he motions to Wood that the ring is all his, O’Callaghan climbs out and grabs his fur coat as Wood steps in…
JT: O’Callaghan barely broke sweat there and that will give him a great advantage in the next round….he is as fresh as they come…
RJ: And now judgement day has arrived for Daniel Reilly…
Liam Wood is standing in the ring and watching as Daniel Reilly, who is bleary eyed, starts to stir. Wood’s chest is heaving in and out as he watches every move from his attacker…
JT: Liam Wood may be about to gain sweet revenge…..
RJ: OR NOT!
Boos from everywhere as a high pitch shriek fills the air and Liam Wood spins around, his senses disturbed, as Kelsey Callihan runs across the ramp and he sprays something from a bottle into Wood’s eyes. Wood is immediately blinded and he yells out as he turns away from the attack, clutching at his eyes…
JT: That damn jezabel…..daughter of one of the biggest slimeballs alive…
RJ: It obviously runs in the genes…..RKO!
JT: Twice in one night….this is a sham….
Reilly is hurting from the beatdown from OC but he has a hungry look on his face as he dives up and drills the blinded Wood with another “RKO”, leaving him motionless on the canvass. The crowd are booing furiously as Reilly kneels with a smile and then looks at Kelsey Callihan, who twirls her hair and bows to the audience…
RJ: Daniel Reilly was seconds away from the a55 kicking he so richly deserves….but once again, The Callihans have arrived to screw Liam Wood….where is this going? Where does it end?
JT: Daddy Callihan told Liam Wood it ends with the end of him and not before….I have no idea what that is going to entail but I don’t like the sound of it….
RJ: Liam Wood just can’t catch a break….the ghost of EWF continues to haunt his every move….and now the ghost is being guided by one of the deadliest assassins the game has ever known in Daniel Reilly….one mistake, one slip up and he strikes….
JT: This is going to get seriously ugly…..I can just feel it…
Reilly slithers from the ring and he throws an arm around Kelsey’s shoulders, she looked delighted, before they back step across the ramp toward the back. Liam Wood is just crawling to the ropes, spittle dripping from his mouth, and he glares at them with venomous intent…
RJ: Liam Wood is not going to let this one slide…
JT: And The Callihans aren’t going to give up their quest…
RJ: I can’t see how the future of 6CWF can encompass both….
JT: I agree….at some point, whether in the near of far future...this is coming to an alarming head and not everyone is going to survive…..
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Daniel Reilly vs O’Callaghan
JT: I really don’t know what Reilly thought was going to happen….he signed up with Callihan, he screwed Wood out of the European Title…...he then attacked Wood earlier tonight and cost him his chance at winning this very tournament....did he really expect no comeback?*O’Callaghan is the first out at ringside and is met by a vociferous response from the 6CWF crowd. He really plays up to the crowd as they sing along to his theme music. He swaggers across the stage and the commentators talk about how it has been a couple of years since we last saw him in action. Jeff Thadeus goes on to tell us how he was once the “next big thing” of professional wrestling and even won the “Fight for the Right” briefcase in 2017 but became the first man to unsuccessfully cash in the contract. Since then it has certainly changed from a when to an “if” he ever wins a world championship.
*OC continues to work the crowd and we get a recap of his return at “From the Ashes”. RJ wonders if the self-proclaimed “King of Dublin” can become the “King of 6CWF”. Jeff Thadeus says that tonight is a battle of “kingdoms” as the “King of the Streets” is up next. The crowd boo to the rafters as Daniel Reilly saunters out onto the stage. There is no love in Reilly’s own hometown following his actions at “From the Ashes” and his subsequent alliance with The Callihans. Jeff Thadeus reminds us that Reilly is a former 2x 6CW World Champion so he must have been offered something substantial to sign up for the war against Liam Wood.
*Reilly slowly paces the ring, staring up at O’Callaghan, as the commentators hype this “first time ever” contest. Reilly then climbs inside and the referee checks both men over for concealed weapons before turning to signal for the bell. Reilly takes a step forward before “Revival Mode” crashes out of the speakers. Every fan inside the Birmingham Bowl is on their feet as they await the arrival of Liam Wood. Reilly spins toward the stage, an angry and surprised expression lingering on his face. Jeff Thadeus says “it was only a matter of time” until Wood came hunting the man who cost him at “From the Ashes”.
*All eyes remain on the entranceway but Liam Wood is not forthcoming. Reilly holds his arms up and the cameras pick up on him saying “I knew you were a damn coward. O’Callaghan is still lounging in the corner and looks bored before finally removing his fur coat. He looks at the fans and rolls his eyes before rushing forward with a flying double knee strike to the back that sends Reilly tumbling against the ropes, leaving him sprawled across them.
*OC laughs and then he runs the ropes and returns with a “619” as the crowd go wild. He watches Reilly rolling back to the centre of the ring and then he springboards in and lands a picture perfect frogsplash in the centre of the ring.
*Reilly stumbles back up as Liam Wood walks out on the stage. Reilly is clearly hurting but his eyes immediately lock on Wood, bringing anger and fire…
RJ: I believe he thought his reputation may precede him….but Liam Wood doesn’t give a damn about reputations….Reilly is aligned with Callighan which automatically makes him an enemy….

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*Geoff Steel interview with Timothy Allen. Steel is fired up for tonight’s main event and is looking forward to testing himself against Rex Adamson. He knows Adamson is overlooking him and doesn’t believe him capable anymore but Steel assures that there is plenty left in the tank. Steel was disappointed not to leave “From the Ashes” as European Champion but is confident he still has the qualities it takes to make a big impact in the business.
*JJ Johnson pays Marty Helms a visit. JJ, perhaps showing signs of a lot on his plate, is short with Helms. He looks at the 6WF Championship belt and says Helms did good winning that title, proved he was a real champion, but he is sick and tired of hearing the (beep) that comes out of his mouth. JJ tells Helms this a “personal” call and he doesn’t make many so listen up. If Helms doesn’t want to have a “title celebration” tonight then so be it, JJ doesn’t care. But Helms throwing his weight around and making demands isn’t going to fly. He knows Helms is a real bada55 and he knows what he is capable of so he’s unsure why he is has to whine and b1tch as much as he does.
JJ says in about five minutes Uryu Ishida is going out live in front of the audience to celebrate his historic achievement. If Helms wants a slice of that then so be it, if not then “who gives a (beep)…..JJ aims to leave but Helms wants to know about his other request. JJ says “The tournament?” and Helms nods….JJ thinks for a minute and then says “Why the (beep) not”….”You’re in….next week…..Marty Helms…..versus….Tyler Roth”. The crowd are going wild as JJ walks off, leaving Helms with an ugly look on his face.
*Robin Reborn is interviewed by Clarissa. Reborn has a huge cutout of himself advertising his new show on Prime. Clarissa wants to know why Reborn slapped Lex Hart at ringside. Reborn says Hart is a washed up joke, a shadow of his former self and it makes Reborn sick. Reborn bowed out of the business a “legend” and now he’s making waves in show business but he could return to 6CWF tomorrow and still be a bigger deal than Lex Hart and 99% of these “suckas”. Reborn says he’s still the benchmark and the rest of these fools just don’t measure up.
*Daniel Reilly and Kelsey Callihan are shown rushing into the parking lot. Drake Callihan is sat in his car, the engine running, and he is yelling for them to get in. Liam Wood crashes through the doorway behind them and makes a rush for the car but he’s too late. Kelsey is leaning out of the back window and blowing kisses as the car screeches away.
*Mike Hill is polishing up the European Championship when Cameron Faith walks up on him. Hill jokes that Faith should look hard because this is as close as he will get again to championship gold. Hill then recommends some good bars in town for Faith to fall off the wagon again and forget what a loser he is. Faith looks at Hill and then at the championship. He says nothing but nods his head and walks off, leaving Hill looking confused.
*Christy is re-applying her makeup and trying to regain herself. Drake walks up on her and sits down. He asks if she’s ok and says all corporate talk aside if she wants to talk, he’s here. They reminisce about Drake signing Christy back in 6CW and look at how far she has come. Christy says she loves the business, loves her job but she doesn’t know if getting involved with the Board was a big mistake. It only seems to have added to all of her problems. Drake says Christy needs to do what makes her happy….and he means that in all walks of life….he rubs her shoulder and she notices the missing finger. Drake looks at it too and then shakes his head “A story for another time”. He stands up and walks away as Christy looks contemplative

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*We go back to ringside and there is an almighty ovation for Uryu Ishida. Ishida milks the reception of the crowd as he walks around ringside and climbs up on all of the announce tables. He poses with the 6CW Championship and he is clearly emotional at the reception he is receiving. Uryu climbs up into the ring as a huge “You deserve it” chant strikes up. Uryu gets on the mic and he’s thankful for the support. He goes on to thank the fans and everyone throughout his career that has helped him realise a dream. He makes a speech about Christy James and how she never gave up believing in him and how that belief drove him on to become champion. He wants the crowd to start a “thank you Christy” chant and they oblige, although some seem reluctant given their love for GazzyD.
Uryu says he will be a fighting champion and he welcomes all challenges. He knows what it takes to fight and claw to the top and he wants to give back opportunities that he never received. Uryu says the floor is open and then Marty Helms interrupts, sparking huge boos from the audience. Helms makes his entrance and he tells Uryu to “(beep) off” because the “real champion” is here now. Helms tells Uryu he had no intention of playing second to this “mongo menagerie” and he’s out here to give everyone what they want. If Uryu wants to be a fighting champion then how about he does the right thing and puts his belt on the line right now against Helms….the crowd seem wild for the idea but Uryu says he’s been told there’ll be no “unification” until Night of Glory. Helms says there’ll be a “unification” if he (beeping) says so and Uryu isn’t going anywhere. Helms says if Uryu doesn’t have the balls then he’ll win the “Road to Royalty” instead and he’ll force the match…
*A fight looks imminent when Tyler Roth comes striding out. Roth says he isn’t here to talk, or clap or congratulate. He says Helms beat him at “From the Ashes” but he couldn’t do it without cheating because he knows he can’t beat Roth one on one. Next week they’ll clash in the “Road to Royalty” but Roth doesn’t want to wait….he wants to fight right here, right now and if Helms is as bad as he says then he’ll have no problem.
*Helms pushes Uryu aside and he beckons Roth down to the ring. The atmosphere is electric as the two men go toe to toe and begin brawling in the centre of the ring. Roth smashes Helms back against the ropes and then delivers a discus lariat that takes him over the top rope. Helms lands on his feet and he drags Roth under the ropes as the brawl continues to the outside and then they smash one another through the ringside barrier into the crowd. Security are pouring down now as Helms and Roth get back up and continue to fight through the audience, chairs are flying and fans are being pushed all over as the two behemoths run rampage.
*The commentators are hyping up what we have seen as we then watch Roth drive Helms backwards and they crash over a railing down by the side of the stage. Security and more officials pour in to keep them separated as we get a graphic for next week’s “Road to Royalty” quarter final.
*Uryu is still in the ring at this point, kind of astonished by what he has seen, as Eddy Kent comes through the crowd. The fans are booing as Kent slides in behind Uryu and spins him around before decking him with the “Mic Check”. Boos ring all around as Kent picks up the 6CW Championship belt and poses with it.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
*GazzyD is rerunning Uryu’s speech about Christy when a knock comes at the door. He quickly switches the screen off as Cameron Faith walks in. Faith came to tell Gazzy that they’ve been drawn together next week in the “Road to Royalty”. Faith says they’re friends but it’s strictly business next week. Gazzy agrees and he plays the whole “happy friend, competitive edge” vibe until Faith leaves. Gazzy’s expression is sullen once more as he goes back to watching Uryu’s speech and he looks over at a photo of his and Christy’s wedding day.
*Alex Walker meets up with Eddy Kent in the back. Walker says “that’s how you make a statement” and Kent nods his head. Kent wants to know if JJ will sign off on the title shot but Walker says it’s a “board decision” and Kent hasn’t lost a match, it’s a no brainer and an easy sell. Eddy Kent at the forefront of this company “makes sense”.
*Cody Walker is packing up his gym bag when sees a branding iron has been left on the bench by his bag. He lifts up and we see the word “PRIDE”. He stares at it for a moment and then tosses it aside before leaving. We see Cassidy watching him.
*Max Adamson pays Rex a visit. Rex is pumped and ready. Max wants to wish him luck and tells him not to take Steel lightly. Rex is as cocky as ever and tells Max to “chill out, Unc, this guy is nothing”. Max shakes his head as Rex heads for the doorway and proclaims to anyone in the vicinity “Long live the King”.
*Christy is shown looking at her wedding photos on her phone. She quickly stows it away when a knock comes at the door and we see Uryu. He asks “are you ready to go?” and Christy nods her head. She asks if Uryu is ok after the attack but he says it was to be expected and that everyone is going to want a piece of the champ. There is an awkward silence between them after that and then Uryu says “So where do you want to eat?” as the scene ends.
*The commentators talk about the “Road to Royalty” tournament and we get a shot of the tournament brackets

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
Main Event
Road to Royalty Qualifier
Geoff Steel vs Rex Adamson
JT: Main event time of what has been a fantastic night of action…
RJ: We’ve seen plenty of incredible fallout from “From the Ashes” as the road to “Against the Wall” begins….so far we’ve seen four men qualify for the next round of “Road to Royalty” and we are ending this evening with one more….
JT: Rex Adamson, the brightest prospect in 6CWF as of right now, is looking to beat a fourth former world champion in less than two months….has that been done before?
RJ: A statistician may be able to tell me different but I don’t think so….Rex Adamson is on a tear….he’s fresh off of a win over GazzyD….
JT: But his opponent here tonight is one of the best…..a 6CW legend….
RJ: Rex doesn’t care about legends, he doesn’t care about legacies or histories….he believes he is the present and the future of this business….
JT: But behind that bravado I do not believe he thinks this is going to be a walkover….GazzyD pushed him hard and that was a unfocused, distracted Gazzy….tonight he is facing a focused, determined and fully driven Geoff Steel….this is a serious test of Rex’s credentials….
“Renegades of Funk” echoes out and there are boos from the audience as Rex Adamson arrives on the scene. There are a few cheers dotted around as pyros explode across the entranceway and then Adamson begins his swagger across the stage.
RJ: Rex, just like his Uncle Max, is as arrogant and self absorbed as they come….but he also possesses the kind of self-confidence and world class ability that will take him to incredible heights in his career…
JT: Max Adamson, like him or not, is one of the best ever….he did it all in this business…..Rex is just starting out but Rex has the amateur pedigree….we are talking a kid who was practically guaranteed to win gold at Paris 2024…..he gave him up that opportunity to pursue the big nights and the bright lights of the professional game…
RJ: And already that decision is proving fruitful…..this is his third “Proving Grounds” main event….he is currently unbeaten in singles competition….as we said he is also 3-0 against former world champions…..Rex Adamson, I do believe, will be a name we talk about for years to come…
Rex snaps the straps on his singlet and looks around the crowd with self assuredness before climbing through the ropes into the ring. He paces back and forth before taking up a wrestling stance as “Last Resort” rips through the airwaves to a deafening response from the crowd in attendance…
JT: I’d say one of the most popular stars in 6CW history…..
RJ: I don’t think anyone would dispute that….Steel spent a spell in 6WF but he never reached the heights he should have….
JT: He did main event a Born in Fire though?
RJ: He did indeed…
JT: He also successfully defended the 6CW Championship at Born in Fire IV against Keith Leone and Blue Dragon…..Geoff Steel’s reign as world champion is one of the fondest memories for 6CW fans….he was adored….he still is…
RJ: And these fans would love to see him climb that mountain again….
JT: They sure would….it’s twelve years since he won the big one….but Geoff Steel is still one of the best in the world….still as determined and driven as ever…..and still, without a doubt, one of the strongest men to ever step foot between those ropes….
RJ: Steel’s biggest attribute….he’s teak tough, a solid technician with submission skills but his power is sublime….that’s what can win him any match…
JT: And as arrogant as Rex Adamson is….he will know….
RJ: I’m sure his Uncle Max has passed on a word or two as well…
The roars of the crowd continue as Geoff Steel makes his way across the ramp and climbs into the ring. Steel climbs onto the turnbuckle and soaks up the adulation of the fans before climbing down to face off with his opponent….
JT: These two men first came head to head at “From the Ashes”….Steel was unfortunate to come up short in his quest to become European Champion whilst Rex was basking in his victory over GazzyD…..words were crossed between them, insults traded…
RJ: Those words continued earlier tonight….but now the time for words has passed….only one can advance in this tournament….only one of these men can have a chance at becoming “King”….
The referee gives his final instructions to both men and then signals for the bell to start the contest. Steel and Rex stare across at each other and then step forward and go head to head. Rex is running his mouth and he shoves his head into Steel’s face, which prompts Steel to respond with a huge right hand…
JT: I don’t see a feeling out process in this one….we’re ready for a fight…
Rex is rocked back by Steel’s shot but then he responds with a huge punch of his own. The crowd are cheering as both men slug it out in the centre of the ring before Adamson rams home with a knee to the stomach. He grabs Steel’s face and rakes his eyes, causing the referee to dish out a warning, and then he grabs his opponent’s wrist and whips him toward the ropes…
RJ: Rex showing those family traits, he’s not afraid to bend or break the rules…
Steel flies back off the ropes and he dodges Adamson’s attack before running the opposite side and returns with a jumping back elbow right to the mouth. Rex stumbles back up and Steel crashes a forearm into his jaw before whipping him across the ring. Steel drops his head for a backdrop but Rex stops short and grabs Steel’s head before slamming him down into the canvass….
JT: Smart and simple offense there from Rex….
Rex stomps down on Steel, backing him up to the ropes, and then uses his boot to choke his foe until the referee intervenes. Rex is talking to Steel and telling him “You’re too old for this, man”…..he drives punches into Steel’s head, backing him against the ropes, before looking for another Irish whip…..Steel turns inside and pulls Rex toward him, scooping him onto his shoulders….
RJ: AA!
Rex slams elbows into the jaw of Steel and drops off back before he backs into the ropes and returns with a shotgun dropkick to the chest that sends Steel crashing back into the corner. Rex runs in and lands a flying shoulder thrust to the gut before lifting Steel up top. He clambers up after and pulls his rival into a front facelock…
JT: Adamson looking for the big impact here….
RJ: These are two big men, that ring is in for a heavy landing…
Steel holds firm, refusing to budge, and then he drives vicious punches at the ribs and body of Rex. He manages to pull himself free and he smashes his head into Adamson’s cheekbone before launching him off the top rope to the canvass below. The crowd are on their feet as Steel regains some composure and then stands tall…
RJ: So early in this match but Geoff Steel is throwing caution to the wind….FLYING HEADBUTT!
The flashbulbs go off as Steel takes to the skies but Adamson rolls from the ring at the final second and sends his opponent crashing to the mat. Rex is pointing to his own head, indicating how smart he is, before he climbs back onto the apron. He waits for Steel to rise and then he catapults in and lands a heavy lariat………………..1…………….2……………..Steel pops the shoulder!
JT: Rex is quick, he’s strong….from what we have seen in his career thus far I have not witnessed many weaknesses….
RJ: I’d say, perhaps, a little overconfidence at times but that is to expected given his age...he is lightyears ahead of what you would expect at this stage of his career, however…
Rex is pointing down at Steel and mocking the fans for cheering him. He grabs him by the head and pulls him up before flipping him into a powerbomb position…..
JT: Steel is a big guy and he just got flipped like he was nothing….
Steel, however, lands out on his feet and then blasts a huge European uppercut under the chin of Rex Adamson. He follows up with three more right hands and then looks for an Irish whip but Rex is able to reverse and sends him off the ropes…
RJ: THAT’S STEEL’S POWER!
Steel ducks a clothesline on the first go round before Rex leaps up for a leapfrog in the comeback only for Steel to catch him in his arms. Rex tries to struggle as Steel adjusts him in his arms and then launches him across the ring with a fall away slam…
JT: We talked about the strength of Geoff Steel coming in and there it was for all to see…
Rex, holding his back, gets back up and eats a running clothesline. He then takes a second before Steel scoops him up and slams him down onto the canvass with intent. Steel is starting to find his groove and the crowd cheer him on as he wills Adamson back up and delivers a solid kick to the midsection…
RJ: Steel may just try and end this here...BLADECUTTER!
Rex senses the danger and he runs Steel back into the corner and drives him against the turnbuckle. He smashes three heavy shoulder thrusts into the gut before bursting away to the opposite ropes and sprints back as Steel stumbles from the corner…
JT: GORE!
Steel sees what is coming and he takes one step to the side and then uses Rex’s momentum to launch him over the top rope, sending him crashing onto the rampway…
RJ: Steel was able to just throw Rex over the top rope like he was nothing there…
JT: And that was not a good landing for Adamson…
The referee is leaning over the ropes to check on Rex, who is clutching his spine, before he starts to count him out…
RJ: Rex has got to the count of ten here or he is out of the running for the “Road to Royalty”….
JT: I’m not sure Steel, wisely or not, is content with taking a count out…
Steel ignores the referee and he climbs out onto the ramp. He grabs Rex by the head and he pulls him and toward the ropes. He then attempts to suplex Adamson up and over into the ring but Rex stands firm. Three attempts are blocked before Rex shoves Steel back into the ropes and cracks him with a discus forearm. Steel sags against the ropes as Rex takes a few steps back before charging forwards….
RJ: AA OVER THE ROPES…..STEEL MAY HAVE THIS!
Steel ducks his shoulder and he lifts Rex up before delivering the huge fireman’s slam (Attitude Adjustment) over the top rope and onto the canvass. Adamson rolls in pain as Steel then climbs up the ropes…
JT: Second time lucky….NAILED IT!
Cheers ring out as Steel soars through the air and succeeds in crashing his head down into the chest of his opponent….
1.
…
…...2
..
………………….shoulder up!
RJ: Geoff Steel is now finding out, first hand, that Rex Adamson can back his mouth up…
Steel looks to the referee for a moment but is assured it was a two count. He clambers back up and wanders over to the corner where he takes up a crouching position. Rex is slow to rise but rise he does…
JT: Steel looking for more heavy artillery here…..SPEAR!
Rex shows his athleticism to leapfrog over the spear and send Steel sprawling across the ring. Steel gets back up and charges forward again but Adamson spins him into a huge slam. Rex quickly underhooks the arms of Steel and flips him into a huge sit-down powerbomb………….1…………….2…………….shoulder up!
RJ: A lot of us expected a belter when this match was announced and it is living up to the hype….tremendous effort from both so far…
Rex has his game face on now as he orders Steel to stand. He looks annoyed as he scoops him up onto his shoulders…
JT: FIRE AND THUNDER…
Steel drops behind and he ploughs a huge right hand into the small of Rex’s back before pushing him into the ropes, chest-first, and he lifts him into a back suplex as he comes back…
RJ: Rex flipped out on his feet….GERMAN!
Some of the fans can’t help but applaud as Rex flips out and lands on his feet before locking his arms around Steel’s waist and tosses him into a huge release suplex. Steel staggers back up and Rex drills him with a massive belly to belly slam (ala Ken Shamrock)……………….1……………...2…………...Steel throws a shoulder off the mat!
JT: Now Rex is cooking….and we have seen that when he settled into a rhythm like this, he is hard to stop…
RJ: Nobody has managed it yet in a one on one encounter….
Rex slams brutal clubbing blows down into the back of Steel and then drags him up. He throws him toward the corner and then charges at him, only to eat a big boot to the face that staggers him back. He charges forward again but Steel drives his feet up once more…
JT: Rex was ready that time….ASTONISHING!
Rex throws his hands up and he catches Steel’s feet. He then uses his strength to pull Steel into the air by his legs and catches him on his shoulders before spinning him out into a neckbreaker variation. Steel is down as Rex charges back to the corner and uses the top rope to land an imploding splash (ala Jack Swagger)……………...1……………….2…………..Steel just finds the ropes with his foot!
RJ: Adamson is getting closer and he can sense it….
JT: He said he would break Geoff Steel down….that Steel’s age and his wear and tear would become a factor the longer this match went on…
RJ: Could be a perfect prediction….
Rex heads for the corner and he starts to climb. Steel is slowly trying to crawl toward the centre of the ring and get up so Adamson walks along the ropes. He waits for Steel to rise and then dives toward him with a huge front dropkick…
RJ: CAUGHT HIM…..STEELWORKS!

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
JT: One rookie mistake and the veteran makes him pay….
Rex’s face is a picture of dismay as Steel catches his legs in midair and guides him down into the canvass before turning him over and applies the liontamer. Steel’s knee immediately shifts so that it is pressing right into the spine of Adamson…
RJ: One of the deadliest submissions in the game…
JT: To the back of Rex Adamson that has already suffered here tonight…
Rex is yelling out in pain but he shakes his head, adamantly, to the referee when asked if he wants to quit. Steel is holding on for dear life and looking to increase the pressure as Adamson does everything he can to scramble for the ropes…
RJ: Rex still has power in those legs and arms, he is trying to pull himself to safety….
Rex’s hand closes in on the bottom rope but then Steel drags him back toward the centre of the ring as the noise levels grow. Adamson’s face is reddened in pain but he will not quit as he tries to twist his body….
JT: Rex is nowhere near the ropes now but he is trying to twist his way out of the submission…..Steel having a hard time of containing him…
Adamson’s body is now contorted so he is on his back and trapped under the legs of Steel. He reaches up to grab his opponent’s head and then uses his free hand to smash heavy right hands to his face…
RJ: Adamson fighting with all he’s got here….
Steel takes some heavy blows before he is forced to stagger backwards, releasing the legs of Rex. Adamson is holding his back as he tries to get up and Steel comes towards him again and grabs him by the head…
JT: Steel gonna try and finish it another way…..BLADECUTTER!
This time, Rex swipes Steel’s legs and he catapults him into the corner. Steel slams against the turnbuckle and staggers around as Rex gets up and scoops him up….
RJ: CYCLONE…
Rex seems to be contemplating the F-5 but Steel kicks and scrambles before dropping off and he pushes Rex into the turnbuckle pads, chest first, before running the opposite ropes…
JT: SPEAR….GOT ALL OF IT!
RJ: Geoff Steel is about to take Rex Adamson’s undefeated streak…
1.
..
...2
..
..
………...3-NO!
JT: That had to be….
RJ: It was as close as it could possibly be….razor thin decision by the referee….
Steel is on his knees and holding up three fingers, a little disbelieving, as the referee indicates that Rex got his shoulder up. Steel looks down at his opponent and then clambers back up…
JT: Steel knows he is in fight here….but it’s nothing he hasn’t seen before...nothing he hasn’t been able to overcome at some point in his career….
RJ: But can he overcome it now? Is Geoff Steel still the guy?
Steel has his hands on his hips momentarily and then he looks around at the crowd. Rex Adamson is slowly reaching his feet as Steel pulls him around and scoops him into his arms…
JT: What is Steel thinking here?
RJ: He’s looking for the big time…
Steel demonstrates his power to walk Rex to the corner and then starts to step up the ropes. He reaches the second rope and looks back over his shoulder…
JT: Steel is holding Rex in his arms like a baby, that takes crazy power….
RJ: I think crazy is the right word for whatever we are about to see….
JT: Steel believes he needs something big to finish off this young upstart…
The cheers are growing as anticipation builds and Steel steps up to the top rope with Rex in his arms. Static then begins to bristle from the VIPTron…
RJ: What the hell is up with the big screen?
JT: Technical malfunction? I mean now is hardly the time…
Steel looks up at the screen, as does everyone else, but nothing happens and the screen silences again. However, the lapse in concentration allows Rex to fight out of Steel’s grasp so that they are now both standing on the top rope…
RJ: This is as precarious as it gets….OH MY LORD!
JT: Are they done? I think they both might be…
RJ: Hellacious landing…
Rex suddenly drives his knee up into Steel’s ribs before he superplexes him off the top rope down onto the elevated rampway, leaving both men in a battered heap…
JT: Both men are done….they have to be following that….
RJ: Thank the Lord for that elevated ramp…..the landing was bad enough but they fell around 6 foot compared to the 10-12 foot drop to the concrete floor….
JT: I’m still not sure either of them is beating this count…
The referee looks concerned for both men as the replays show the landing again and again. The official’s count is up at five as they are doing their best to stir…
RJ: Both men have given a lot on this one…..and then you throw a bump like that into the mix…
JT: I can’t believe they are up, though….
The count reaches eight as Steel staggers into the ropes and then Rex clotheslines him over the top and back into the ring. Adamson then vaults over the top rope, showing a burst of energy, and he wills Steel up before sprinting at him….
RJ: GORE!
JT: STEELWORKS!
Steel counters the spear with a drop toe hold and then tries to turn Rex over into the submission again. Rex sways his body from side to side and then uses his considerable hip strength to throw Steel across the ring. They both get up and Rex dodges a right hand and runs to the corner and leaps onto the middle rope before twisting back…
JT: Caught him with the boot….BLADECUTTER!
Steel plants his boot deep into Rex’s gut and then the crowd cheer as he drills his rival with the 360 piledriver. Steel is slumped on the canvass, holding his back…
RJ: Steel’s got him here….
JT: But he’s taken a lot of punishment….
RJ: Someone needs to fix this damn screen...I don’t like the noises it’s making whilst we are sat underneath it….
Steel is trying to will himself up to make the cover when the big screen cuts into static again. Suddenly the lights are flickering inside the arena before a video starts to play…

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
The Birmingham Bowl is plunged into darkness as there's a hush from the crowd in attendance. The faint sound of a running engine can be heard as well as seagulls in the distance. What sounds like the chatter of dock workers and the heavy breaths of men working hard, the clunking of something heavy hitting the floor..
As the thud hits the tron comes to life and we see an old warehouse two lorries parked up, as large wooden boxes are being taken from them by men in street clothes. We can see some small white packages being taken from deep inside the boxes and moved into a sperate vehicle. The boxes are then resealed and we see they have clothes inside. Clearly expensive looking.
A large black SUV is parked to the side and the sound of sirens passing can be heard in the background as a slightly familiar voice talks over the top???:
I was out... I was clean.
I was a business man.
I done my time and now I was free, to do what I was taught to do. To carry on the family business. Import (he laughs slightly) and Export.
The camera pans away from the scene as we see flashes of the past in 6WF and 6CW. The action in the ring and out of it, the championships Mon and lost, interspersed with images of a grimy and seedy city, dark back streets, groups of youths harassing people and causing damage to property as the voice continues.???:The men emptying the trucks in the warehouse are shown as a silhouette of a large man looks out from the black car and he nods at one of the men in approval as the man proudly smiles and goes back to work.
This was my life. The old days gone, the fame and glory. The sleepless nights.
The F**KING VIOLENCE!!!
All of it... a thing of the past. All that was left was the peaceful life, sitting back watching my family grow. Not just the old woman and my boy, but my real family..???:Flashes of JJ's announcement of the return of 6cwf are shown and the media coverage, newspaper headlines
I'd lost everything that made me... me.
I was a monster, I was a, god damn, LEGEND..
and then it went out with a whimper, like a shi**y Firework from a cheap shop, months out of date and p*ss damp through. So I took my tail I shoved it between my legs and I went home. I went back to the woman and the baby that I'd left behind and I worked hard to show them that I was the man they needed.
I did what I could and I built an empire, a dangerous and venomous empire where I was the head. I was the man that I was born to be, I had taken my father's place and I have taken this city for myself. I had everything I'd ever wanted. But then I got a phone call...
'wrestling returns'
'6cwf is back!'
YouTubers talking about the return of the fed and the returns of the wrestlers along the way.???:
Not the call you'd expect, it wasn't 'We're back' it wasn't 'Do you want in?' it wasn't even 'Are you taking Bookings?' NO!!!
The screen fades to white and that white becomes a package of white powder. Then we see next to that a massive pile of money, then a gun, next to that is a mobile phone, it rings, a massive hand leans over and takes the phone and we hear the voice of JJ Johnson...JJ:
Hey big guy, long time no see.. um... I have a proposition for you.. more an opportunity let's call it. Word about town is that the rights and the library for 6WF and 6cw are available for purchase, I was thinking about bringing back.. well playa... rumour has it that you're doing well for yo'self... And I was just.. well.. I was thinking...
A high pitched screech slowly builds and eventually blocks out the voice. Then... Silence???:
That was it, that was when it all came back to me.
Me and JJ had tried to kill each other, at one point I hated that man more than anything in the world. I had got past him and I had my career, I had become more now, a business man. And this guy just wanted the same. He wanted to be a business man. Not a superstar, not a champion, he wanted what I had... I understood.
I knew exactly what he was after, I had the finances, he had the drive and he wanted to make 6CWF what it was meant to be, Great.. so I called him back. I told him I was in.
But I told him, the only way it would happen is if I wasn't on the papers. I have certain 'dealings' that would need to be kept to myself. The money he needed would indeed be his. But the one rule was that he wouldn't be able to ask where it came from. He told me he needed to think about it.
And then I never heard from him again. Untill a few months later I saw 6CWF advertised on telly.
A montage of the return of 6VWF. The Returns of the Talent, the Returns of the Belts, the action in the ring and out. The Victories and defeats at From the Ashes and finally a still of JJ looking on from behind the curtain. A proud look on his face and a tear in his eye.???:
I guess he didn't want me....
The camera now shows the last of the boxes being taken from the lorry's and this box is smaller. It's about 5 feet high and 4 feet across. It's left at the side of the SUV as the window opens and the camera shows the other side of the car. We can't see inside the open window. Just a huge silhouette of the man talking and the box on the far side of the car. One of the workmen uses a crowbar to open the front of the box and then they all back away as a voice can be heard from inside the boxMan in box:
Hello? Hello? Wwhh. Whh.. who's there? In the car? Hello??!????:
So..
JJ wanted to do this legit?
Really?
He's too good for my world?
Too good for my money?
TOO GOOD FOR ME!!?!
ARE YOU SERIOUS?
THIS CITY, THIS WORLD.. THIS F*C*ING UNIVERSE!!! IS MINE..!! OK?!Man in the box:
Who are you????:
OK?! YOU FU**ING ANSWER ME NOW YOU PENCIL PUSHING PEICE OF SH*T!!
The car rocks as the man inside is clearly losing his head. He takes a deep growling breath and calms himself???:
Get this pri*k out of the box. Give him some air.. please?
Two of the workers lean in and lift the man from the chair he's sitting in, they untie his hands where thet where bound and they dost him off. The man I'd wearing a suit. He's a middle ages white man with a bald spot and glasses. He had pens in his top pocket and he has a little bit of blood on his botton lip. He's sweating profusely and his knees are shaking as the growling deep breaths from the car seem to calm a little and the voice mellows a little???:
So... Are you going to thank my friends for helping you up? No? Ok I will do... Thanks for helping him to his feet lads.
Obviously he's a little shaken up from his trip. A week traveling through eastern Europe will do that to you.. haha. Specially in a crate like..
The car suspension creeks as the weight inside shifts towards the man and he gets a look at who he's speaking to. His face turns white and somehow he seems to shrink in place like a wilting flower.Man in suit:
I.. I... Its not really down to what JJ wants. He's not responsible for these decisions.. he means no disrespect... I mean at the end of the day there was a board of directors and we decided..???:
We.....?
What do you mean.... We?Man in suit:
The board. We found a more reputable scource for fund..s .. I mean.. there was the issue of not knowing where your funds came from.. I'm sorry I don't mean offence.. your a very powerful man I can see that..???:
So what your telling me, is that JJ called me, to ask for help. He wanted to use my money, but you sicophantic yes men, you souless and emotionless bankers, you had the power to say no?Man in suit: EXACTLY!!
He exclaims before realising his situation and instantly going silent biting his lip???:
Hahaha, you can't say 'no' to me.
You can't even say 'yes' to me.
I do whatever the hell I want and there is no one in the world that can stop me. You see what's happened now? Are you smart enough to know what happens when you come into my Metaphorical cave, and ask for my help. I offer you some of my gold, MY gold and then you decline?
I was willing to make 6CWF what it should have been, I was willing to save 6CWF I was going to come back and I was going to smile and wave, I was going to play my part and soak up the adulation of the crowd. To be that legend, the man that retired and came back for one last go around the block. To pick up one last title and to put over the stars of the future. But now...
Now you've awoken the sleeping Beast. You've brought the fire out and if I can't be the one to save 6CWF.
Then You Can Bet Your Life THAT IM GOING TO BE THE ONE.. TO... BURN THAT PLACE!!! TO THE F**KING GROUND!!!!!!!
The door of the car opens and the camera zooms in on the feet that step out of the car.
A pair of black boots, with steel toecaps. As the camera pans up we see the massive man is wearing a black suit. Steel skulls as cufflinks and a white shirt underneath the stylish three peace suit. A deep blue tie around his neck as we discover who he is.
The greying beard, the hair shaved into a short mohawk and the scared a grizzled face. Though clearly older, the cold eyes and the sick grin could only belong to one man..Blue Dragon:
F*CK YOU...
F*CK THE BOARD...
F*CK YOUR MONEY...
F*CK JJ JOHNSON...
MOST OF ALL..
F*CK 6CWF..
The smaller man is clearly struggling to stand as he clutches his chest and shrinks to the floor in a limp, apologetic puddleBlue Dragon:
Enough of this sh*t... Mack, your in charge
An older man in a suit nods from inside the car as Blue Dragon walks towards the lorry's. His men file in and walk with him leaving 'mack' to get out of the car and assist the man now laying on the floor holding his left arm and struggling for breath...Blue Dragon:
Boys... I'm Back..
God help anyone who stands in my way...

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 19th June 2023 (Episode 5)
RJ: OH MY GOD….
JT: IS HE HERE….NOW?
Crowd: Holy (beep) Holy (beep) Holy (beep)
The lights come back up and everyone is staring around the arena waiting to see the arrival of Blue Dragon. The cameras are panning up and around the crowd, into every section, but he is nowhere to be seen. Geoff Steel has stumbled to his feet and he looks confused…
RJ: Geoff Steel just watched the same thing as all of us….he’s on edge too…
JT: He and Dragon go back…
RJ: I’m not sure though….was that video live?
JT: If it was then we’re all expecting the arrival of a man who is hundreds of miles away….
RJ: Well it has certainly got people in a buzz here…
Crowd: We want Dragon x10
Geoff Steel continues to look confused and then he turns around….
JT: FIRE AND THUNDER DRIVER….JUST LIKE THAT!
RJ: Rex was playing possum….just laying in wait…
Rex springs up from nowhere and scoops Steel onto his shoulders for drilling him with the “Samoan Driver” in the centre of the ring before hooking both legs…
1……………...2……………...3!
JT: Adamson advances….
RJ: Huge capitalisation on the VT we just witnessed….Steel’s attention was diverted, just like all of ours….and Rex was able to recover enough to pick up the win….he’s into the quarter finals…
JT: That’s four world champions defeated in less than two months by the Australian phenomenon…..
RJ: But let’s address the giant “elephant in the room” here...Geoff Steel was twice interrupted by what seemed to be technical malfunctions from this big screen above us….we then got the VT, almost a warning shot that Blue Dragon is returning to 6CWF….but he isn’t here, at least not that any of us can see…
JT: And what the hell is all that stuff about Blue Dragon and JJ Johnson? Surely JJ doesn’t need another psycho gunning for him?
RJ: I’m not sure….Blue Dragon has always been a loose cannon...if he’s on his way back to 6CWF then I am sure chaos is about to ensue…
The referee raises Rex Adamson’s arm and he beats his own chest and beckons for the cameras to get him in shot…
Rex: Told him, like I told you all….number bloody one….Rex Adamson, heading for the top….the youngest, the greatest….unrivalled…
JT: Rex as full of himself as ever...he’s proud of his accomplishments and you can’t blame him...he’s moving on in this tournament…
RJ: As for Geoff Steel….I mean what does he do from here?
Rex removes the straps from his singlet and nods his head to the music before climbing from the ring, swaggering across the ramp toward the entranceway. Geoff Steel is just getting to his knees and he’s still looking bewildered about what happened. He’s pointing at the big screen and then he turns to the referee and we can hear him say “What the (beep) was that?”….the referee shrugs his shoulders and Steel looks incensed.
JT: I don’t think Geoff Steel is very happy here and you can understand it….
Steel stands up and he’s still staring around the arena as though expecting to see a familiar face but there is no sign….the cameras are in close to him and he starts to talk…
Steel: If you’re listening, Blue, and I assume you are….whatever the (beep) that was….whether intentional or not, whether trying to screw me or just make some point to the Board...you had all night to pull that (beep)….. I’m an easy guy but now I’m out of the tournament….which means I have no target, which means, currently, I have no direction…...so when you do decide to show up…..next week, the week after…..we’re gonna need to talk…
RJ: Geoff Steel putting a voicenote out live to Blue Dragon….you can understand Steel’s grievance…
JT: No doubt about it, he was in a great position in this match….that VT changed all of that…
RJ: We don’t know there was any intention to it….but I guess that’s what Steel wants to know….right now he feels he was a cost a match and he wants to know the intent behind it…
JT: But is targetting a showdown with someone as violent as Blue Dragon wise?
RJ: Geoff Steel is unlikely to care about that...he can go to war with the meanest in the land….he wants answers and whenever Blue Dragon shows up, I guess he’s going to demand answers…
Rex disappears from behind the curtain as Steel continues to pace the ring, looking for some sign of Blue Dragon.
JT: I don’t think Steel is going to get what he wants here tonight….
RJ: We’re out of time for tonight folks…..thank you for joining us….we’ll see you in a week!
