6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
*The show begins with a ten bell salute for Charles Kramer before the crowd are vociferous as JJ Johnson arrives. He is live and on the mic for the first time in months and he has a whole load to get off his chest. First of all he wants to apologise. Apologise for not being here. He admits that he wanted to be here and fight for 6CWF but for the first time in his life he listened to everyone else and he stayed away. But watching Clarke James’ evil schemes became too much and he had to return.
JJ has watched his friends, his colleagues, his family be assaulted and maimed at the hands of a man he once considered a “brother”. But Clarke James has gone too far, he’s pushed the envelope far enough and JJ has received the message loud and clear. So he doesn’t know where CJ is right now but he knows he’ll crawl out of his rock sooner or later. And he’ll bring his little masked army with him. JJ says the more the merrier. Because this ends and it ends at Born in Fire XI (massive crowd pop). JJ doesn’t need answer because he knows CJ will be there, this is exactly what he has been chasing, and JJ promises that he will make Clarke James famous.
JJ goes on to talk about how he is back now and he runs this show. His sends his thoughts and prayers to those who have suffered and those who are no longer around because of his inability to act but that all stops here. He knows there are plenty in the back with something to stay, some who want to step up and take a shot….JJ says he is the boss and he will have no problem putting anyone in their place.
He moves on to “Desert Storm” and promises a spectacular event (matches to be announced throughout the evening) and then he points to the “Born in Fire” sign and says that December 31st will be a night to remember and 6CWF will end 2023 with one of the greatest sporting events that has ever been witnessed. But now the talking can stop and the action can begin. JJ is heading backstage to make himself real comfy and get reacquainted with how things are done around.
The commentators hype JJ’s return and believe 6CWF is heading in the right direction once more.
*Backstage and Miss Jessica is talking with Cassidy. She admits she is disappointed with him and his run of form but she still has great belief that he can achieve greatness. She says Born in Fire is on the horizon and she wants him to rise higher than any of her clients before. She believes he can be the best of them all. Cassidy has a renewed swagger and smirk on his face.
*A statement is set to be read by Anthony Grace on the life and passing of Charles Kramer. On screen we see a lavish suite that has been set up but suddenly there is a commotion as an obviously drunk Grace staggers into the room and knocks over a camera stand. He barges into a table and causes a vase to fall and smash. He has a bottle in his hand takes a long swig from it as he looks around at the camera crew that has gathered. His eyes are bloodshot and he looks as though he hasn’t washed or shaved in days. Some of the crew look concerned for their safety but Grace suddenly seems to sag as he falls back into a chair. He looks lost and takes another swig from the bottle before pulling out his mobile phone. There are several missed calls from his daughters and ex-wife but he ignores them as he dials a number and holds the phone to his ear. We hear “This is Charles Kramer’s phone, I am not able to take your call right now but please leave a message and I’ll get back to you”.
*Robin Reborn and his entourage arrived in Glasgow and there are tumultuous boos from the audience. Clarissa wants to interview Reborn on what happened at Destiny and the loss to Gazzy/Uryy. Reborn shuts her down and says the only reason they lost is because Grace was too busy crying over his fake daddy. Reborn says the world is a better place without Charles Kramer (Clarissa looks disgusted) and if Anthony Grace needs a new father figure then he will have no problem “son’ing” him.
Clarissa asks about JJ’s return and Reborn takes his turn to look disgusted. He says JJ is concerned with Clarke James but he should be worried about this man right here who is a greater star in every walk of life. Wrestling, tv, films……Reborn laughs off that JJ is “running the show” and thinks that “Amazon will have something to say”.

Bout 1
Cassidy vs Geoff Steel
Cassidy vs Geoff Steel
*First bout of the evening and Daniel Reilly alongside Oliver Keane are joining Henry and Harold Lloyd at ringside on the “Social Media” desk. Reilly is talking about how he deserves a position and opponent befitting of his class at “Born in Fire XI” and is here to see if anyone is worthy of a challenge.
*Cassidy is joined by Miss Jessica, amidst a chorus of boos, before Geoff Steel is greeted like a hero. Steel and Reilly share an intense staredown as the commentators remind us on the finish to the fatal four way at Destiny which saw Reilly escape with the European Championship right form under the nose of Steel.
*Cassidy takes his chance to dive into a baseball slide that clatters in the spine of Steel and drop him. He stomps down on him repeatedly as Miss Jessica applauds his ingenuity. He drags Steel up and smashes him into the steel steps before returning to the ring, ordering the referee to make a count.
*Reilly is mocking and laughing at Steel but it seems to give him purpose and he is able to beat the count on nine. Cassidy traps Steel in the corner and stomps at his midsection and lights up the chest with knife edge chops. He grabs his wrist and whips him to the opposite corner….Steel slams into the turnbuckle but then launches out for a huge lariat but Cassidy ducks and nails a snap neckbreaker for a two.
*Cassidy heads to the corner and waits for Steel to rise before nailing an overhang neckbreaker. He follows up with a lionsault but Steel gets his shoulder up. Cassidy ushers Steel to his feet and looks for the “Purification” elbow (Judas Effect) but Steel counters into a release full nelson slam. Steel bounces off the ropes and returns with a leaping headbutt to the chest for a close call.
*Steel looks for a big time suplex but Cassidy floats behind and rakes his back before shoving him into the corner. He chases in but eats a solid back elbow to the mouth. Steel runs out for a spear but Cassidy collapses and sends his opponent flying over him in a heap. He drags Steel up into a guillotine suplex against the turnbuckle before pulling him into the centre for a fisherman’s DDT which garners a two count.
*Daniel Reilly continues to talk down Steel and interrupts RJ and JT. He says he is the greatest European Champion of all time and as far as he is concerned there is no talent out here worthy of meeting him for his title. Back in the ring and Cassidy sprints from the corner for the “Sins of our father” spear but is drilled by a huge spinebuster. Steel picks him up and runs him into a powerslam for a two.
*Steel heads up high but Miss Jessica climbs on the apron to distract him. The referee tries to get her down but enough time elapses for Cassidy to get back up and swipe Steel’s feet. He climbs up and nails a superplex for another nearfall. Cassidy looks to Jessica for instructions and she urges him to finish the job. He beckons Steel up and leaps up for an “RKO” but Steel shows amazing strength to catch him and then flips him into a modified pumphandle slam for a two.
*Steel drags Cassidy up to his feet and looks to flip him into a powerbomb. Miss Jessica distracts the ref and that allows Cassidy to jam his thumb into Steel’s eye. He drops out and then nails “Idolatry” (Zigzag neckbreaker). The referee makes the count but Steel’s resilience shows through for a two.
*Cassidy is complaining to the referee now but is told to concentrate on the match. He rushes over to Steel and tries to pull him down into a “Hell’s Gate” submission but Steel battles against his grip. He shoves Cassidy back into the ropes and tilt-a-whirls him on the comeback but it is amazingly countered into a facebuster across the knee (ala Triple H). Cassidy follows up with a jumping inverted STO for a two.
*Cassidy is angry now and wants the “Divine Comedy” (Codebreaker) but Steel catches his legs and slams him down. He looks to twist him into the “Steelworks” but Cassidy scrambles for the ropes and refuses to let go until Steel releases. Cassidy rolls from the ring. Steel follows. Cassidy rests against the announce desk but tries to kick out at the stomach of Steel as he approaches. Steel catches the foot and spins him around before scooping him on his shoulders before launching him onto Daniel Reilly and Oliver Keane with an “Attitude Adjustment”.
*Steel launches Cassidy back in the ring now and he drops him with the “Bladecutter” (spinning piledriver). Jessica places Cassidy’s foot on the ropes and although it breaks the count the referee spots her and orders her from ringside. Jessica throws a fit as Steel heads for the corner. Cassidy is back up and lands a right hand. He climbs up now and looks for a top rope hurricanrana but Steel catches him and powerbomb him off the ropes. He immediately turns Cassidy over and causes him to tap out to the “Steelworks” as the crowd go wild.
*Steel celebrates. Reilly rolls in behind and looks to take him out with the European Championship belt but Steel ducks and lifts Reilly onto his shoulders before launching him over the top rope with another “AA”. Steel picks up the European belt as the crowd voice their approval and Reilly/Keane watch on with seething anger.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
*Jack Reynolds is on hand to interview Geoff Steel as he arrives backstage. Steel is pleased to get another W under his belt and makes it clear that his intention is to meet Daniel Reilly one on one for the European Championship sometime in the near future.
*Scene change and there is plenty of animosity as JJ Johnson and Blue Dragon go face to face. Dragon makes it clear that one day soon they’re gonna sort things and JJ tells him “I ain’t hard to find”. BD makes it known that first and foremost he will take the power in 6CWF by collecting championship gold and there is nothing JJ can do about it. Johnson says he has no intention of preventing Dragon from winning gold, he set up 6CWF to showcase the best talent in the world and that is exactly the category that BD fits in…..but he warns Dragon that making threats at JJ usually doesn’t work out well for people and he’d do well to remember that.
*Eddy Kent, Michael Sweetwater and Tyler Roth are in the ring now. Eddy Kent is presenting the new Genesis and promises that what you saw at Destiny (defeating Scott Harris and burying Cerberus) is just the beginning. He promises to succeed where Genesis failed in the past and that there is nobody who can stop them.
Kent moves on to Max Adamson. He knows Max is a “great” and has a great record against him but that means nothing at “Desert Storm”. A big pay cheque from the Saudis is the only silver lining to what is going to happen next week because once that match is over Max Adamson won’t wrestle again.
Kent then sends a message to Rex Adamson. He wants Rex to think this over because he is a future superstar in this industry, the most dynamic young star on the roster….and he has been overlooked by his fame hungry, spotlight stealing, Uncle Max…..Kent wonders if that is something “family” would do…
The commentators talk about how Kent is trying to divide Max and Rex, JT thinks it may be working.
*Scott Harris is giving an interview to Tim Allen in an unknown location. Harris says he is still trying to process everything that happened at Destiny. He admits that Tyler Roth’s betrayal not only took him by surprise but hurt him deeply as he considered Roth a close friend.
Harris believes he should be world champion, the whole world knows it, but because of Tyler Roth and Genesis that isn’t the case. Harris knows he won’t get another shot at Kent and he will have to work his way back up but first of all he will get even with Tyler Roth. Harris says he has physical and mental scars from what went down at Destiny but one day soon he will be back in a 6CWF ring and when that happens Tyler Roth will severely rue the day he chose to stab him in the back.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
Bout 2
Dicey Reilly vs James McManus
Dicey Reilly vs James McManus
*Monstrous reception inside the building for Dicey Reilly. He is still sporting some of the cuts and bruises of his war with Marty Helms but looks in great spirits. We get clips of the bloodbath in Belfast before Dicey declares that he wants something big at Born in Fire. The commentary team wonder what he may be targeting.
*James McManus then arrives to a mixed ovation. JT and RJ discuss McManus’ fortunes since returning to 6CWF and how something just doesn’t seem to be clicking for him. They wonder if his mysterious phonecall from Destiny will have any kind of effect on his form.
*Dicey and McManus share and old school tie up to start out and Dicey is able to gain the upper hand. He breaks on the referee’s say so and eats a solid boot to the midsection from his foe. McManus tees off with chops and forearms. He whips Dicey off the ropes but misses with a lariat and eats a giant big boot as the Irishman returns from the opposite side. Dicey nails a brainbuster for a two count.
*Dicey looks to flip his man up into a powerbomb but McManus drops over the back and takes Dicey out at the knee. He targets the leg and looks to apply a figure four but is booted away to the corner. Dicey is up and charges in but misses and clatters the turnbuckle. McManus rolls him up for a two. McManus runs the ropes for a “knee trembler” but Dicey avoids and returns the favour on the rollup but also gains a two. They both scramble up and McManus goes to the stomach again but this time Dicey catches his foot and spins him around before dropping him with a brutal axe handle smash.
*McManus crawls into the corner and Dicey looks for the “Hangover Cure” but McManus rolls under the ropes to safety. Dicey follows but McManus rolls back in and looks for a running knee strike again as Dicey gets to his feet but it is countered into a backdrop that sends McManus over and onto the apron. Dicey drags McManus up and nails stiff punches to the chest (ala Sheamus) before suplexing him back into the ring for a two.
*Dicey signals for the “Craicdown” but McManus swipes his legs and applies the “British figure four” from nowhere. Dicey is clearly in a lot of pain but he manages to withstand almost a minute and a half in the hold before he makes the ropes. McManus isn’t happy as he stalks for “MK Ultra” but Dicey rolls down the back and pulls McManus over. He spins and catapults McManus into the turnbuckle before drilling him with a heavy back suplex driver for a two count.
*Dicey goes up high and looks to score with a frogsplash but McManus drags himself out of the firing line before it can be executed. He heads for the corner himself now and nails a crossbody which gets him a nearfall. He beckons Dicey up and looks to scoop him on his shoulders but Dicey elbows free and shoves his opponent off the ropes. Dicey looks for a sidewalk slam on the comeback but McManus jumps out the side. He nails a kick to the gut and the “River Wensum Plunge” for two.
*McManus spits in frustration. He beckons Dicey up and looks to lift him into a tombstone but Dicey drops out and scoops his opponent up for a back to belly piledriver (White Noise) for another nearfall. The crowd applaud the action between both men as the commentators hype what we are watching.
*Dicey once again signals for the “Craicdown” but McManus backs to the ropes and succeeds in backdropping Dicey over the top. He turns and eats a solid forearm from the Dubliner which staggers him back. Dicey catapults over the top for a shoulder tackle (ala Sheamus) but McManus runs back in and catches him on his shoulders before nailing a death valley driver. He follows up with a running knee trembler to the temple. He is sure he has the three but Dicey stuns him and delights the fans by kicking out.
*McManus has serious words for the referee now as the commentators talk about his inability to close the show in big matches. He heads for the corner again and waits for Dicey to rise before leaping at him for another crossbody. This time Dicey catches him in his arms. He swings him up into a powerbomb position and launches him at the turnbuckle. McManus slumps and Dicey follows up with the “Hangover Cure” (Knee strike to the face of seated opponent). He drags McManus away from the ropes and covers him for the three.
*The fans applaud the action and the commentators pay homage to both. JT believes Dicey is in the best shape he has seen for years and reckons he can achieve whatever he wants at “Born in Fire XI” whilst RJ wonders what James McManus will do next. The talent is quite clearly there as shown again tonight but when it really matters he just seems incapable of getting it done.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
*There is a huge commotion backstage and we see Liam Wood and Engel Harlequin engaged in a bloody brawl. Wood is repeatedly smashing Engel’s head into the wall, leaving blood smears, before he allows Harlequin to drop onto the concrete floor. Backstage personnel are trying to break it up as Engel crawls away, smiling but bleeding. Wood manages to break away but Engel has a barbed wire bat in hand and drives it into Wood’s gut as he approaches.
Engel aims the bat at Wood’s head but he ducks and it dents the wall. Wood picks Engel up and runs him backward now as they crash through a door…..there are yells and calls for a medic as the cameras zoon in and show that both Wood and Engel have fallen down a flight of stairs. Both men are still somehow trying to get up but security pour in to keep them apart. The commentary team can’t believe the hatred and animosity that is building between these two. RJ is of the mind that something terrible is going to happen in this feud.
*A disappointed and dejected James McManus is removing his hand wraps and tape when a knock comes at the door. He looks up and smiles as his wife, Jenny, and The Fanatic are there to greet him. The Fanatic offers a hand and helps McManus up. It looks like The Parasite Killers may be back in business.
*Cody Walker is here and a little banged up following Destiny. JJ Johnson visits him. JJ wants Cody to know he is proud of him and his dad is too. He stood up for himself and what he believed in despite the odds and that takes real guts. He believes Cody is going to be a real star and that is exactly why he signed him to a contract. Robin Reborn interrupts now. He gets in JJ’s face and talks about disrespect and how Johnson is a sell-out and a stooge (missing the irony of his own position). Reborn says he is a bonafide star and should be in a top spot at both “Desert Storm” and “Born in Fire XI”. JJ agrees (which takes Reborn by surprise) but says that Reborn b1tching and whining about it don’t mean (beep). He also tells him that he has spoken to Amazon and told them he’ll take 6CWF elsewhere if they interfere in business again.
Reborn doesn’t look happy and says JJ’s day is coming. JJ smirks back and says “probably” but until then he runs this (beep). Reborn looks around at his entourage and seems to be weighing up an attack as Cody Walker stands next to JJ. Johnson smiles and says it looks like Reborn has his match at “Desert Storm”. Reborn calls Cody a “shill” as he barges past him and swaggers off.
*Clarissa interviews Rex Adamson. Rex addresses Eddy Kent’s comments and admits he is disgruntled. It’s not just because it’s Max, or a family member, or someone coming out of retirement (even though all valid reasons) it’s because nobody has beaten him, he hasn’t suffered a single pinfall or submission loss in 6CWF. He’s beaten six former world champions in one on one action….he’s the most in form superstar on the roster, bar none, and the only person who should be receiving a title shot is him.
Max walks into shot now and there is a little tension. He says he understands Rex’s annoyance but the Saudis paid good money for a show and that is what they are going to get. He says he will be world champion again but that doesn’t mean Rex won’t because he knows he’ll be the biggest star in the industry. Rex says that no matter what he is feeling right now and whether he is annoyed with his Uncle or 6CWF….he will have Max Adamson’s back tonight and at “Desert Storm”…and if that ends with Max as the 6WF World Champion….then at least he knows who he’ll be facing at Born in Fire XI. Max laughs but isn’t sure whether Rex is joking or not as the youngster walks off.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
Bout 3
Liam Wood/Mike Hill vs Blue Dragon/Engel Harlequin
Liam Wood/Mike Hill vs Blue Dragon/Engel Harlequin
*The hype surrounding the upcoming tag team match has been tempered a little by the news that Liam Wood and Engel Harlequin are out due to the altercation backstage beforehand. We are now going to see Blue Dragon and Mike Hill go one on one. The commentators talk about how both men are coming in hot off the back of impressive wins at Destiny. Two major players in the former 6WF who will want to put themselves in a position of peak interest at “Born in Fire XI”.
*Mike Hill is the first to arrive and is greeted by his usual mix of cheers and boos. He plays up to it and laughs off the boos whilst telling the camera “Just here to remind the world that I am that damn good”. JT talks us through Hill’s win over Cassidy at the PLE and how he has a fantastic resume since returning to 6CWF. RJ believes Hill may be in some kind of “peak” and that he will have grand ambitions of reaching the top of 6CWF once more.
*Blue Dragon is out now and he also has his supporters amongst the many detractors. RJ reminds us of comments made by Dragon in regards to seizing “power” here in 6CWF and that means getting his hands on championship gold. JT is hyped by the confrontation between BD and JJ Johnson, hoping that one day it is something we may see inside the squared circle.
*RJ talks about how the next few weeks are crucial in staking your claim for a prime spot at “Born in Fire” and is expecting top tier performances from the two men in the ring. They tie up and Dragon immediately breaks and looks for a huge forearm smash but Hill ducks and tees off with chops to the chest. He runs the ropes but BD uses his momentum to pop him up, only for Hill to counter in midair with a dropkick which sends Dragon through the ropes to the outside. Hill quickly grabs the top rope and corkscrews into a crossbody takedown on the outside.
*Hill decides to leap onto the barricade and he runs across (ala Jeff Hardy) and leaps off at Dragon but is caught and launches against the ringpost. BD throws Hill back in the ring now and almost splits him in two with a running shoulder tackle for a two count. BD stands over Hill and repeatedly beats at his back before dragging him up. He flips him up for a crucifix but Hill kicks his feet and drops off. Hill leaps into a springboard but returns into a solid forearm smash. BD spins him into a ring-shaking sit-down powerbomb for a two count.
*Dragon heads for the corner now and begins to climb (much to the commentator’s surprise). He reaches the top but Hill is up and dropkicks his feet, crotching him on top. Hill climbs up now and delivers a fantastic top rope hurricanrana. BD rolls over into a seated position as Hill sprints off the ropes and returns with a brutal low dropkick to the mouth. He covers but Dragon powers out the count of two.
*Hill drags Dragon up and looks to whip him into the corner but BD reverses with his power game. The big man sprints in but Hill spins around the ropes and nails a kick over the top before spinning back out and rolling Dragon up. BD rolls out of the pin onto his knees as Hill runs into him and slams a knee against his face (ala John Morrison). Hill heads for the corner now and leaps up top. The crowd are on their feet as he launches into “Mike Time” (450 splash). A three count looks likely until BD pops his shoulder just before the three count.
*Hill tries to show his own power by scooping BD on his shoulders but eats big elbows. BD grabs Hill by the throat and looks for a chokebomb but is countered into a “Hill-can-rana” for a two. They get up and Hill dodges a right hand and swipes BD’s legs before landing a standing shooting star press (Hill Walk). He then follows up with a lionsault for a two.
*Hill heads for the corner and he waits for Dragon to rise before jumping into a missile dropkick. BD wobbles but doesn’t go down. Hill runs the ropes now but is tilt-a-whirled into a backbreaker before being shoved off the ropes and popped up into a chokebomb for a very, very close two.
*Dragon exchanges words with the official before fixing back on Hill. He looks to prepare him for the “Deathnote” but Hill flips out on his feet and nails a pele kick. BD sways from the impact and Hill looks for a springboard tornado DDT but Dragon catches him and launches him over the top rope to the outside, causing a bad landing. The referee wants to count but BD rolls out. He picks Hill up in a bearhug and drives him back against the ringpost before launching him, upside down, against the security barrier. He returns to the ring now.
*Hill somehow beats the count on nine and crawls up in the corner. Dragon smirks and sprints into a huge splash but nobody is home. Hill nails a step-up tornado DDT and then rolls onto the apron and nails a springboard legdrop for two. Hill stalks Dragon now and sets up for the “Over the Hill” (Diamond Dust) but Dragon catches him on his shoulders and runs him to the corner for snake eyes. BD then charges off the adjacent ropes and returns with a brutal big boot but Hill somehow finds the ropes before the three count.
*BD drops on Hill and slams brutal punches into his head until the referee forces a break on the count of four. He drags Hill up now and flips him for a powerbomb but Hill tries to lock his legs in place for a triangle choke in midair. Dragon quickly drives to the corner and squashes his man before launching him across the canvass with a huge “Biel throw”, only for Hill to land out on his feet. Hill stumbles and then handsprings into the ropes and fires back but Dragon catches him and erupts with a huge release Uranage slam for a near fall.
*Dragon shows some signs of frustration now and boots the ropes in dismay. He drags Hill up again and this time looks for a “Last ride” powerbomb but it is countered into a dragonrana for a two. They scramble up and Hill dodges a discus lariat and dropkicks BD in the spine, sending him into the turnbuckle, and nails a “poisonrana” as he comes back out. Hill nails a step-up shining wizard for a near fall.
*A “this is awe-some” chant is ring around as Hill lands a standing moonsault and heads for the corner. He reaches the top and throws himself into the “Next big move” but lands across the knees of Dragon, drawing groans and looks of dismay from the audience. BD is up now and obliterates Hill with a “Border Toss” powerbomb. Hill is there for the taking as Dragon gets ready for the “Deathnote” but the claxon sounds to signal the time limit being reached.
*Dragon is less than impressed as the referee signals a time limit draw. He glares at the official and then down at Hill before choosing to nail the “Deathnote” anyway for good measure. Hill is left flattened as BD kneels over him. The commentators hype a “fantastic contest” and believe both men have shown the quality to demand a top position at Born in Fire XI. JT doesn’t believe Mike Hill will be happy about the follow-up attack after the bell but RJ isn’t sure it would be wise to seek out another meeting with Dragon down the line.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
*We get an announcement and a montage for “Wood vs Harlequin II – Last Man Standing at “Desert Storm” next week.
*The scene changes and Dicey Reilly is being congratulated on another win. Blue Dragon walks across his path. BD says he has heard Dicey has grand ambitions for “Born in Fire XI” but wants him to know that any title shots at the event will be his and if anyone tries to prevent that, they will pay. Dicey shows no intimidation as Clarissa arrives with news. She says JJ has informed her that at “Desert Storm” there will be a ladder match and the winner will receive a world championship opportunity at Born in Fire. Both Dicey and Blue Dragon will be competitors in that match. The two men stare one another down before Mike Hill lashes a steel chair across Dragon’s back and drops him to a knee (following BD’s attack). Hill slams the chair down and stares from Dragon to Dicey and back before walking off. Dicey smiles as the scene ends.
*Miss Jessica is pacing back and forth, looking frustrated, as Jerome Dubois prepares for his upcoming match. Jessica is angry now (following another Cassidy defeat) and she makes it clear to Dubois that this “rendezvous” cannot continue if all she gets is failure. She wants to see why everyone calls Dubois “Le Phenomene”. She tells him that JJ is laughing at him, everyone is laughing at him….he has always been looked upon as inferior, lesser….Dubois looks angry now as he stands up. He glares at Jessica and then leaves. She bites her lip and smiles, vindictively.
*Rex Adamson is training now when he finds himself surrounded by Genesis. Rex prepares himself for a fight but Kent calms the situation. He is here to offer an olive branch. He wants Rex to join Genesis. He says unlike his “family” he will not look to hold Rex back. Genesis hones and builds stars. Kent says he is the perfect product of what Genesis can do for your career.
Rex retorts that if ending up like Kent is what Genesis does for you, then he’s not interested. Sweetwater and Roth look ready to jump him but Kent calms them and smiles at Rex. He says “Think it over” before Genesis leave.
*A badly beaten Uryu Ishida arrives. Tim Allen doesn’t think Uryu should be here but Ishida is adamant as 6CW Champion that he has a duty to show up. They talk about Destiny and how Christy is doing. Tim agrees that it is best she stays home right now (for herself and the baby). Uryu admits he hasn’t heard from Gazzy or any kind of direction on why he did what he did at Destiny. Uryu suspects….he also suspects Edward Plague played a huge role in it too.
Uryu goes on to say he has never run from a fight, he has never backed down, and he has never shirked responsibility. Gazzy has a problem and he is happy to meet with him and discuss that. If that means they have to fight then so be it….it isn’t what he wants but sometimes we have to do things we don’t want. The same goes for Edward Plague…..they know where to find him….he’ll be here every week, showing up, until he cannot physically do this any more…
Uryu makes a plea to Gazzy to remember his family, his unborn baby….he says there is still time for him to turn this around and renounce Plague and his evil….Uryu once again asks Gazzy to “Think of Christy and your baby” as the scene ends.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
Bout 4
Cameron Faith vs Jerome Dubois
Cameron Faith vs Jerome Dubois
*Cameron Faith is afforded a hero’s welcome as he returns to Glasgow. He is clearly still feeling a lot of discomfort in his back from the beating he took at the hands of Blue Dragon at Destiny. He walks from one side of the stage to the other, playing the crowd and soaking up their applause, but Jerome Dubois sprints out and nails a “French Connection” spear on the solid stage.
*The heat from the audience is nuclear as Dubois launches Faith down the rampway and sends him rolling into the aisleway. Dubois drags Faith up and crashes him, back-first, into the steel steps. There is a dark expression on Dubois’ face and RJ isn’t sure if it is the loss at Destiny, JJ’s return or Miss Jessica’s ire that has caused it or a mixture of all three.
*Dubois throws the covers off the “Japanese” announce table and then he drags Faith up and nails the “Culture Shock” (dominator) across it, causing Faith’s ribs to smash against the corner of the desk. The referee is out now and remonstrating with Dubois whilst urging him to get in the ring. The official wants to check on Faith now but the Scotsman is adamant he can fight. The commentators believe the choice should be taken away from him as he is too brave for his own good.
*Dubois smashes into Faith from behind and then spins him around and nails a “Au Revoir” (Sitout slam) across the top of the steel steps. He then throws Faith in the ring. The referee looks extremely reluctant as Dubois eyeballs him and calls for the bell to begin proceedings.
*Faith can barely get to his knees now and is clearly in need of medical assistance but Dubois shows no mercy. He flips the hometown hero up and decimates him with a “Garlic Bomb” (powerbomb). He makes the cover and the crowd go nuts as somehow Faith is able to get a shoulder up. There are very concerned faces in the crowd, however.
*Dubois looks apoplectic as he kicks Faith over on his front and repeatedly stomps on his spine until the referee drags him away. The official is pleading with Faith to let him end the contest but Faith grabs at his shirt to assist himself in standing up. Dubois drags Faith around and nails the “Fortune” (Go Flasher Suplex slam) and hooks both legs as we get a resounding three count.
*The commentators join the referee in calling for help for Cameron Faith, who’s back seems to be in a bad way. Jerome Dubois rolls from the ring now and returns with a steel chair. He chases away with the medical staff and referee before lashing the chair down across the spine of Cameron Faith. He then sets the chair up and drags Faith to his feet before nailing another powerbomb across the seat, crumpling the chair and leaving Faith to writhe in agony.
*JT and RJ are talking about a darker side of Jerome Dubois and believe Miss Jessica is rubbing off on him. RJ wonders where Dubois goes from here as no doubt the “GWA” World Champion will want a spot at Born in Fire XI. JT thinks after what we have just witnessed JJ Johnson may want Dubois to sign a 6CWF contract before he allows him to compete here again. Cameron Faith is given a huge ovation as he is helped to the backstage area.

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
*We get a scene of the Plague complex out in the woods and we see someone’s feet moving through the shrubbery, leaves crunching underneath their feet. The unknown person reaches a large oak door and knocks. After a wait the door swings open and Edward Plague is there with a smile (Some Resident Evil Village (beep)). He says “Welcome brother” and we see him hugging GazzyD as the scene ends.
*Eddy Kent is giving Genesis a rallying call. He wants to send a message loud and clear. We get a split screen and Max is getting ready as Xanthi and Marlon sit with him. Rex enters the room and stares down with his Uncle before doing his final prep.
*Uryu is doing some media duties and filming some content for a 6CWF documentary when is attacked from behind. There are shrieks and cries amidst a cackle of delight as we see Jerome Dubois is the one brutalising the 6CW Champion. He drags him up and launches Uryu through a glass TV monitor that has been set up and leaves him sprawled in a heap. Miss Jessica and Cassidy are watching on with delight.
Suddenly JJ Johnson is there and in Dubois’ face. The animosity between the two is bristling. Dubois is demanding a 6CW Championship shot. Surprisingly JJ agrees to grant Dubois’ wish at “Desert Storm” next week but he tells Dubois that should he lose….then he must sign a 6CWF contract or never show his face around here again. Dubois smirks and says “And who will stop me?”. JJ retorts “You already know the answer to that”……Cassidy is watching and he produces his “branding” iron. Jessica’s eyes glow with malevolence but JJ whirls and catches the weapon….
Johnson says the deal just got sweeter…..Uryu vs Dubois next week….Cassidy vs JJ Johnson….JJ says “I heard Scorpions thrive in the desert…..good job because that’s where I’m leaving yo a55 next week”.
*JT and RJ are here to give us a rundown on “Desert Storm” and the announcements on what we can expect.
*Eddy Kent vs Max Adamson – 6WF World Heavyweight Championship
*Uryu Ishida vs Jerome Dubois – 6CW World Championship
*Cassidy vs JJ Johnson
*Cody Walker vs Robin Reborn
*Liam Wood vs Engel Harlequin II – Last Man Standing
*Blue Dragon vs Daniel Reilly vs Dicey Reilly vs Geoff Steel vs Mike Hill vs Tyler Roth – Ladder Match (winner receives a world title shot at Born in Fire XI)

Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - 13th November 2023 (Episode 17)
Main Event
Eddy Kent/Michael Sweetwater vs Max Adamson/Rex Adamson
Eddy Kent/Michael Sweetwater vs Max Adamson/Rex Adamson
*The crowd are absolutely stoked for the main event and the return to in-ring action for Max Adamson. Genesis are the first to arrive on the scene as Eddy Kent parades the 6WF Championship whilst Michael Sweetwater trash talks the audience. RJ is surprised that Tyler Roth isn’t out there but JT is sure “The Reaper” will appear if needed.
*Standing ovation now as Max and Rex make their entrances. It is clear there is still some animosity between the family members but they tag hands and make their way to ringside. Xanthi Rose and Marlon are on hand to greet them. RJ walks us through the history between Eddy Kent and Max Adamson and how Kent will be worried at the prospect of defending his world title next week against a man who has so often had his number.
*Major reception as Max chooses to take the start for his team. Eddy Kent pretends he is going to do the same but then Sweetwater clatters Max from the side to begin the match. Sweetwater goes to town on Max with stomps and right hands in the corner. He looks for an Irish whip but Max is too strong and sends his opponent crashing into the opposite turnbuckle before launching him toward the roof with a huge backdrop. Sweetwater staggers up and Max bench presses him. He plays the crowd as he pumps Sweetwater up and down before eventually slamming him to the canvass. Sweetwater stumbles up in the corner and Max continues to work the audience as he nails a monkey flip. He signals that he is going high but Kent grabs his foot. Max manages to shrug the world champion off but it allows Sweetwater to crotch Max on top. He tags in Kent now and they deliver a huge double superplex for a two count.
*Kent stomps on Max and mocks him for coming back. He pulls him up for a suplex but Adamson floats over and locks his hands for a German suplex. Sweetwater distracts the ref and it allows Kent to flick his heel back and low blow Max. Kent nails a spiked DDT for a two. Kent is talking to Rex now and saying “He’s stealing your position and you’re just taking it”. Kent drags Max into position for a “Mic Check” but is shoved away to the corner. Max runs in for a big splash but misses. Kent nails an inverted headlock backbreaker and spins Max into a neckbreaker for another two.
*The commentators are talking about how close we are to Born in Fire and how Kent will not want to lose his title and potentially a headline slot at the event. The world champion drops a knee on Adamson and then tags Sweetwater back in. Kent drags Max up as Sweetwater comes off the top with an axe handle. Max drops to a knee as Sweetwater runs the ropes and returns with a pump kick for a two count. Sweetwater ushers Max up now and tries to land the “Sleep with the fishes” (Fisherman’s suplex) but Max is too heavy and shrugs him off. Sweetwater runs back in but is planted by a huge one-handed spinebuster. Max crawls to tag Rex but Kent sprints around and drags him off the apron. Rex blocks Kent’s attack and slams a knee into his gut but the distraction allows Sweetwater to clatter Max from behind and drag him away from the ropes into an inverted DDT for a two count.
*Sweetwater heads for the ropes and wants the “Six feet deep” (double foot stomp) but Max moves. Sweety rolls to his feet and rushes back but is popped up and planted by a powerbomb. Max draws on the crowd and nails the “FaMaxer” (Famea55er) but Kent breaks the pin on two. Max crawls for the tag now. Sweetwater grabs his foot and tries to drag him back but Max shows amazing agility to land an enzeguiri. Kent sprints in but Rex shotguns through the ropes and wipes him out with a dropkick. Rex returns to the apron and takes the tag as the crowd go wild.
*Sweetwater eats a huge overhead suplex and then Kent suffers the same fate. Sweetwater is back up now and is nailed by a “sky high” powerbomb. Kent looks to rush in for a big boot but Rex ducks and then nails a German suplex which launches the champion over the ropes to the outside. Rex sets for the “Gore” now on Sweetwater but Tyler Roth is here and drags his ally from the ring as the crowd boo. Rex takes exception and runs to the corner and up the ropes. He walks across to the middle and wows the crowd as he throws himself into a senton that wipes out both Roth and Sweetwater. He drags Sweetwater up and throws him back in the ring. He sprints into the “Gore” but Kent comes from nowhere and drills him with the “Genesis Kick”. Sweetwater covers and a three looks imminent but Max dives in for the save.
*Kent tags in now. He heads for the top and looks for the “Kent Bomb” on Rex but Max pulls his nephew out of the way before being removed by the referee. Max is calling for the tag and Rex makes it. Max stalks Kent and lifts him for the “Cyclone” but Kent fights off and lands the “Mic Check” but Max kicks out as the audience go wild. Kent is clearly experience some doubts now but gives himself a talking to. He beckons Max up and tries for the “Genesis Kick” but Max dodges it and nails the “Cyclone”. A three count looks on the cards until Sweetwater comes off the top rope with the ”double foot stomp” (Six Feet Deep). Kent covers now but Max kicks out and the commentators commend his resilience.
*Genesis circle Max now and Kent wants a spike piledriver. Sweetwater heads to the ropes but Rex sprints up and nails a huge overhead throw. Max backdrops Kent and then backs into the corner. He runs out for the “Gore” but Kent amazingly counters into the “Kentlock”. He is squeezing for dear life and Max seems to be fading. Rex comes to save but Roth, on the blindside of the ref, drags him from the ring and clatters him into the ringside barrier. Roth seems to be preparing for something much worse until Marlon leaps the barricade and attacks him.
*The crowd go wild as Marlon takes the fight to Roth. He seems to have the upperhand and scoops Roth up but “The Reaper” drops off and slams him, head-first, into the ringpost. Roth then scoops Marlon up and nails “The Reaping” (back suplex into a powerbomb) through one of the announce tables. Scott Harris, drawing a massive reaction from the crowd, suddenly sprints down to the ring and brawls with Roth before clotheslining him into the crowd. They fight into the audience and disappear from sight.
*In the ring and Max somehow staggers to his feet with Kent still choking him and manages to spin into a modified jumping slam that breaks Kent’s grip and leaves both men in a heap. Sweetwater is back on the apron now and he takes a tag from the world champion. Genesis team together and this time they succeed in scoring with the spiked piledriver. Sweetwater wants the icing on the cake as he heads up high.
*He prepares for the flying stomp but Rex is back in. Sweetwater leaps toward him but Rex catches him and swings him onto his shoulders for the “Fire/Thunder” Driver. Kent looks to nail the “Genesis Kick” but Rex ducks and pulls down the ropes, sending the 6WF Champion tumbling to the outside. Rex stalks Sweetwater now and scoops him onto his shoulders. He throws him off for the “Cyclone” (F-5) as Max sprints from the corner and obliterates Sweetwater in midair with the “Gore”. The count is academic as the audience goes wild.
*Eddy Kent is left seething as Xanthi Rose has jumped the barricade and grabbed the 6WF Championship. She climbs in and hands it to Max. Rex is celebrating the win but turns and sees his uncle with the world title, souring his mood a little. Max shoulders the 6WF Championship and smirks as he stares out at Eddy Kent. The commentators wonder if this is the sight we will be seeing next week at “Desert Storm”.
*The show ends with Clarke James (wearing his Scarecrow mask) surrounded by an army of "The Fallen" just standing outside in the pouring rain staring at the arena.
