Well this has taken a life of its own .
Finished in 5 hours 23 minutes - I’ve ran it twice and I can categorically say that this time was the worst experience of my life!

To the true lesser Reilly, enjoyed your reply mate, apologises I’ve not been able to get a reply up for yourself, think I’d be cutting it too fine with the show due to be put up tomorrow but will make sure I get a couple promos up once the NOG card is put online!

Results are up. Shortened show as promised. Hopefully it does its job of hyping what is to come. Thanks very much to Ed for his contribution, massively appreciated. Night of Glory section will be posted today so bare with. Need to make sure everything is in hand and looks the business. I'm on my work laptop and I can't do everything I'd like on here so will be multitasking with my phone to get everything done.

NIGHT OF GLORY MATCH CARD
Can I just say thanks very much to Liam for an absolutely outstanding poster. He also has a little something else to share with you all but he deserves the honours on that so I will wait for him to be online.
I will be putting up separate threads for each match where you can post your promos guys. Three weeks until the event so plenty of time. I have a little something else to say to you all but I'll get the match threads posted first.

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
Full match card and match threads are up lads.
So here we are. 12 months since we restarted this crazy game and I'll be honest I wasn't sure we would get to this point. I certainly didn't believe we'd get here in a stronger position than I have seen in a decade. That is a massive testament to each and every one of you and the effort you have put in. Your interest and dedication is massively appreciated and I can't put that into words.
More than that though you have become like a second family to me. Been doing this since I was 16 years old and I've been through more in my life than I care to go on about but this place and you guys have been a constant, always there and always keeping me going. It has been an honour and a privilege to share this time with you all (yeah I know this is soppy as f*** )
Basically I just want to say thank you. Thanks for being there, thanks for putting faith in me to produce something mildly entertaining for you all. Thanks for being family and making 6CWF what it is today and what is has been for the last 17 years. To all of you here and anyone who has contributed in that time period, thank you very much.
Now write some good f***ing promos and stop getting emotional
Cheers lads

1. Liam Wood - although I think Plague might be a better “character” I think Wood is my best and the one that doesn’t feel like a copy...if i had to keep going as just one character, I'd pick Wood as it's the easiest for me to write.
2. Edward Plague - a lot of fun but there’s no hiding that he’s clearly my version of Bray Wyatt…while I think I’ve moved on from that a little, especially over the last year, it’s clear he’s a tribute though.
3. Brandon Perez - a pretty solid comedy character that I probably should have done more with and maybe will in the future.
4. Austin Stevens - I looked back and while I think the character started out great in 6WF he quickly became a parody of himself when I tried to carry him on in 6CW…edgy for the sake of it and overall pretty rubbish by the end.
5. The Death Squad - had potential but really didn’t do much, basically glorified jobbers sadly
6. Matzko The Magician - made him to join a weird facebook eFed, won the world title and then instantly retired…also designed the belt to look like a Winkle…not my proudest moment (Marky might remember this)
I think that’s all my guys…

1. Eddy Kent. Daddy era is the best, changed over the years but right now is the best the character has ever been, biased of course
2. Damion Onyx. I liked the idea of Onyx, robbed from Daniel Bryan's Vegan heel character. Covid/life got in the way but I imagine he'd be doing Youtube stuff like Maven
3.Aaron Heath. Bum, couldn't find a path for him and just went away to be a bum. Probably working doors now

2.Demarcus Brown- probably didn’t give this character a fair shot enjoyed the character in the beginning only real time I’ve ever tried my hand at being a heel.
3. Big Al Lustley- enjoyed doing the vignettes but just found it difficult to get into any kind of rhythm and got bored very quickly so gave up on him.
4. The random Chinese tag team and their manager I created at one point, the fact I can’t remember what they were called says enough.

Right then
1. Max Adamson - Longevity mainly, long old CV. Hall of Famer.
2. Rex Adamson - First new character I ever hit the ground running with, so much potential and even has a backstory.
3. Duke Dylan Debadguy - Was meant to be a secret that I was him, but it seemed to work well and won a few titles.
4. Jackson Jackson - Part of a tag team which was pretty successful, but then was able to have a relatively successful singles career too.
5. Percy Percival - Never meant to be anything more than a joke, but it was fairly successful and featured an underdog 6CW Tag Title reign too. Always floated the idea of him returning as a heel religious nut who claimed to have successfully "prayed the gay away" to no avail.
6. Xanthi Rose - My debut character, meant to initially be like Chyna as a female taking on the males, but then ended up forcing a Women's Division, but probably featured more as a reference than as a wrestler.
7. Frank Horrigan - Same as Jackson but without the singles career. 100% a rip off of the baddie from Fallout 2.
8. Marlon - Longevity as part of Project X but never really had a run as anything other than Max's tag partner.
I'm not ranking the following, they didn't really justify a ranking:
Daniel Montgomery - excessively tall guy created for 6NG, didn't work
Grunt McGovern - jobber created for 6wE
Probably some more I've forgotten

Hope everyone's doin swell
Mine would be
Logan Kincade - Most fun to write for. Lunatic. Lovely
Udo Berg - Fun to write a monster character
Johnny Goldman - Was supposed to be a blue eyed baby face but didn't last long and was towards the end of my time with efedding the first time round.

Obviously gazzyD is my main character and the one I've enjoyed writing the most. I think because I've always written him as myself and not a character, I've just really enjoyed putting stuff out for him. Plus I've been lucky enough to be involved in rivalries with so many absolute legends in this fed
'The Talent' Jimmy Phillips I think had a lot of potential, and I would have loved to have brought him back, but with the free time I have I just about get a Gazzy promo up.
Angel was a bit of a throwaway character tbh, when I first joined I wasnt that confident in my promos and felt there was less pressure on a tag team than a singles star so he was created as part of a tag team with gazzy. Was never anybody I had visions of building up long term

I think this is why Wood is my favourite as well and why I always have something to say as him because it feels natural to me to write as him...only weird bit is when talking about him it feels like I'm talking in the third person.

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
Couple of little tweets to whet the old appetite this morning. I hope we are all well.
In regards to yesterday's question regarding characters:
1: JJ Johnson - The obvious. The main man. No idea why it felt so comfortable writing like a Black American but there you go I have had the honour of going up against nearly every big star (few exceptions that I hope to change) and be involved in some of the greatest stories. The thing is with JJ is that he is similar to The Rock in the sense that he only had a very short "peak". I am thankful for everything I got to do but when I moved into booking it became harder and harder to maintain the promo levels and also to actually book him as strong as I would have liked. Even when I have matched or in some cases outdone others in promos I have still put them over because I find it hard to make my own character win. I think that is why I have used him much more sporadically in recent years. That being said I do think he kind of reached a level where the wins and losses don't matter as much anymore.
But I don't feel as bad about it as I used to so you're all f***ed this time around
2: Solomon Riddick - I loved Solomon. I really did. He was designed as some kind of "Gatekeeper to the Underworld" type character and a real mercenary. The promos were littered with references to mythology and I really enjoyed it. Again (as is the story with most of my characters) it went on the back burner due to booking commitments.
3: Tyler Roth - Very similar to Riddick. Love the character, probably more in tune with my own self with MMA and boxing skillsets which is why I created his entire backstory. Again I think if I wasn't a booker I could run with him for full term. More than happy he has a home with Genesis right now which allows me to dip in and out of promos with him because I know Ed and Marky keep him fresh. I did consider booking him as champ in the early months when he feuded with Helms (terrible, I know) but again I bottled it
4: Antoine Mason - Very brief run (about 3 months) in 6CW. Got to feud with Dicey and win the TV Title. I loved Mason and he was pretty much what JJ Johnson would be if he turned heel. Was really fun to just say whatever I wanted and really create a horrid piece of s*** character. Story of my e-fedding career is t again the booking. Dicey and Dubs passed the 6CW reins to me and I was too busy to maintain the character. Never say never though, I could see a return.
5: Soldiers of Fortune - A tag team created solely to mask JJ Johnson for a period. They became super over and it led to JJ's unmasking and feud with Hero at Born in Fire. It wasn't the initial plan as I intended to just stay in the tag division but the Hero story grew organically after a tag feud with The Church. Think I brought them back with a V2 version at some point without JJ. With today's announcements (see Tweets) they are not out of the question in the future.
I am at Marky levels of characters because there is also The Alpha Wolves, Bad Intentions (two teams I created solely to beef out the tag division), Shane Ortiz (don't think he even debuted) and of course Cody Walker (another solid character who I may revisit). Joe Frasier (feuded with Engel in 6CW and then done) and Dante Phoenix (another character I liked, feuded with Engel during the Covid-era and we had a great cinematic feud). I may have missed one or two as well (apparently Tyson Armstrong if you ask some ).
