*The show goes live on air with a recap of the explosive end to Unleashed II with Thunder turning on Liam Wood to assist Eddy Kent in retaining the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship. The commentators are debating on what we are going to see here this evening as the road to "Born in Fire XII" continues but then “Heroes are hard to find” begins to play, but Thunder is nowhere to be scene. The camera changes to the production truck. Thunder is berating the sound tech for playing the wrong music. Heroes are hard to find cuts out and “Funeral for an Anti Hero” begins to play instead. The camera follows Thunder as he walks through the halls of the arena. Thunder pops through the curtain in a three piece suit to a mixed reaction. He walks down the ramp as if he means business. Thunder climbs the steps and wipes his feet before getting in the ring. He leans out asking for a microphone. Thunder paces around the ring as he talks.

T: Why Thunder, why? That’s all I’ve heard since last week. No, “Hey Thunder good to see you,” or “how’ve you been?” Nope, none of that, just why Thunder, why? I mean look this guy even brought a sign with him.

*Thunder gestures out to few rows back to a guy with a sign saying “why Thunder, why?”

T: Well, we’re in 2024 heel’s don’t explain they’re actions any more.

*Thunder drops the mic and goes to leave, stopping just before getting out the ring. He heads back and picks up the microphone.

T: Yeah, I hate that sh*t too. Before I tell you why, let me tell you why not. I didn’t do it because I’ve joined Genesis, good band though, better games console. I didn’t do it because Genesis paid me off, I didn’t do it out of jealousy or Poopie and giggles. No. No, I did it because, much like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn or Undertaker and Kane or Shawn Michaels and Triple H or Keven Steen and El Generico, yes, I know I already mentioned them, the point is the same. You and I Liam are destined to do this forever. We’ve done face vs face, face vs tweener but, because somebody can’t fully commit to being an a55hole, I’ve had to.

*Thunder takes off the suit jacket and hangs it over his arm.

T: Now Liam, I know your pissed and I know you’ll want payback and I’m going to give you the chance. You, me, Born in Fire. And to prove I’m nothing to do with Genesis, I challenge any member to fight me next week.

RJ: So that’s the explanation?

JT: Seems so….Thunder turned on his best friend because it was “destiny”….I’m not sure I’m buying that…

RJ: I think Liam Wood will have a thing or two to say about this when he arrives….

JT: Thunder has laid down the challenge for Born in Fire but I think Liam Wood is going to want to hear more before he accepts…

RJ: Oh Wood will accept, especially after what Thunder cost him last week…but I am telling you now there’s more to this story….you don’t just walk back into this company after nearly a decade away and screw your best friend just because….

*We see the Genesis Express turn up outside the Ziggo Dome and greeted by the Orange Army. Eddy Kent and Miss Jessica are the first off the bus before Michael Sweetwater follows. We hear the revving of engines as two brand new motorbikes pull up alongside the bus and Rex Adamson & Jackson Jackson climb off. Michael Sweetwater looks less than impressed by the arrival but Eddy Kent smiles and shakes hands with Rex before pulling him into a hug.

Jackson Jackson opens up the travel case on the back of his bike and pulls out the FFTR briefcase. Kent’s eyes narrow now and Sweetwater shoots him a look. Miss Jessica is presenting a rally in front of the fans and is streaming the whole thing but then she notices the look on Kent’s face and she shakes her head and beckons him over. The “staged” fans are all over Kent and his maniacal grin returns as they chant his name. Rex and Jackson share a word as Sweetwater continues to stare at them.

*Logan Kincade is in the arena and his father is heading out to meet him.

DA: Logan….you’re cutting it fine, your up first tonight….

*Logan merely looks at his father

DA: This is a great opportunity, Logan….win the “Road to Royalty” and you get any world champion you want at Born in Fire…

*Logan turns his dark eyes on Andrews now

Logan: You know what I want…..and what I’ll do to make it happen…

DA: Logan….about that…

Logan: Don’t….don’t even try….it’s happening whether he or you likes it or not….I’ll make it happen, whatever it takes…I don’t need this tournament….

DA: No…but you do need this job to get what you want….and 6CWF have made it clear that you need to keep “control”….fly off the deep end and I can’t pull any strings…

*Logan takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a moment before fixing his gaze back on Damien Andrews

Logan: You’ll pull all the strings I tell you too…..and then I’ll pull Blue Dragon’s beating heart from his chest in front of the whole world….

*Andrews has an unreadable expression as Logan walks toward Gorilla now. The scene changes and we see Uryu spinning kendo sticks on the roof and getting ready for the battle ahead.

Logan Kincade vs Uryu Ishida

*The opening bout of the RTR is set to begin and the Dutch crowd are hyped for their first 6CWF event. Logan Kincade is the first competitor to walk out on the stage, met by a cacophony of boos from the audience. Logan shows no emotion, the flames from his entrance creating shadows on his face, as he moves toward the ring and climbs inside. A win in this tournament guarantees a world title shot at Born in Fire….is this Kincade’s path to a showdown with his brother?

*Uryu receives a massive ovation as he bounces out on the stage. We are reminded of the last meeting between these two men and the brutality that befell Uryu. Can he turn his fortunes around tonight? Or are his issues with Chris Patricks playing on his mind? Uryu leaps up into the ring and keeps his distance as Logan just glares over at him. Fantastic way to kick off the 2024 Road to Royalty.

*The bell sounds and both men circle. Uryu dodges a lunge and lashes in a calf kick before repeating the process to the other leg. Logan limps as Ishida lashes a kick toward his shoulder now and then he grabs his wrist and attempts an Irish whip. Kincade is stronger and sends Uryu off the ropes but Ishida baseball slides to the outside instead. Kincade looks to follow but Uryu leaps off the arena floor into a dropkick to the top of Logan’s head, sending him sprawling back into the ring. Uryu gets up on the apron now and he catapults in with an x-factor facebuster which gets a two count before Logan powers out.

*Uryu runs back off the ropes and aims for a low dropkick but Logan throws himself aside. They both get up and Ishida charges forward but is span into a tilt-a-whirl only for him to land on his feet and delivers a backstabber. Logan is flat on the canvass as Uryu backs up in the corner and nails a legdrop from the second turnbuckle for another two count. Uryu chooses to take to the skies again for a crossbody but Logan catches him. He looks to spin him out but Uryu lands on his feet again and nails a superkick to the ribcage, dropping Logan to a knee, and then he crunches a buzzsaw kick against his temple……………….1………………….2………..Logan throws his shoulder up. He’s as tough as they come!

*Uryu tries to grab Logan’s arm for a hammerlock but he is thrust away to the corner. Kincade chases in but Uryu spins around the ropes and nails a kick over the top. Kincade staggers back as Uryu springboards in and lands with a forearm smash. He contemplates the cover but decides he needs more and heads for the opposite corner. The audience are on their feet as Uryu prepares for the “Split Second” but Logan crashes his knees up into the midsection. Uryu is badly winded as he staggers up and is planted by a whiplash-inducing chokebomb…………………1…………….2…………..shoulder up. Uryu’s momentum has been stopped dead in the tracks here.

*Logan drags Uryu into a piledriver position but then flips him for a powerbomb. Uryu spins on Logan’s shoulders and looks to counter with a poisonrana but Kincade holds firm on Uryu’s legs and then slams him forward so Uryu is guillotined across the ropes. Uryu falls down to a knee as Logan bounces off the opposite ropes and returns with a brutal knee to Ishida’s head, sending him through the ropes to the outside of the ring. The referee begins to count Uryu out and reaches four but Logan isn’t accepting that kind of victory. He grabs Uryu by the back of the neck and launches him, ribs first, into the ringside barrier before spinning him around and slamming him into the ring apron. Uryu is in a world of pain as Logan grabs him by the throat now and he lifts him over his head before dropping him, once again, onto the ringside barrier. The referee is yelling at Logan to bring the action back inside the ring but he doesn’t look in any hurry to comply.

*Logan circles Uryu before placing him in a sleeper hold. Is he thinking “Blind Justice” out here on the floor? Logan is looking toward the steel steps and he’s aiming to use them for his vault but Uryu summons all of his strength to shove him forward at the last minute. Logan’s knees collide with the steel steps and he is sent up and over them. Uryu hears the referee’s count on six and he rolls in but then back out (really?). Logan staggers back up near the announce desks as Uryu runs around and uses the steel steps to launch himself through the air with a solo “poetry in motion” that slams him down on Kincade on top of the “6CWF” table. They both collapse back down on the arena floor now as the referee has no choice but to restart his count.

JT: Uryu could have taken the count out win there….I don’t understand…

RJ: Man has a point to prove, it’s all I can think of….foolhardy as it may be…

*The count reaches seven as Uryu drags himself under the bottom rope. Some of the crowd believe that will be enough for victory but Logan beats the clock on nine. Uryu staggers over and tries to haul Logan up but is shoved backward into the ropes. Kincade roars forward but takes both feet to the face and staggers back. Uryu spins on his heel and springboards into a moonsault but Logan catches him. Powerslam? Uryu kicks his legs and manages to drop backward into an inverted DDT. Logan is already crawling to his feet as Uryu springs off the ropes now and floats with a leg lariat takedown…………………1………………….2………….Logan kicks out once again.

*Uryu grabs Logan’s arm for “Sunset” (Fujiwara armbar) but Logan uses his power to pull Uryu forward and launches him into a backdrop. Uryu, somehow, lands on his feet again. Uryu beckons Logan around and he twists a backheel kick to the gut before hooking his arms into a hammerlock DDT………………..1……………….2……..Logan kicks out again. Uryu sits for a moment and he cannot hide a wry grin. He clambers to his feet again now and he contemplates his next move.

RJ: This might be one of Uryu’s best performances in some time…perhaps Logan’s pursuit of Blue Dragon is distracting him…

JT: Performance means little without the W, however…

Uryu clambers up high again and he perches there as Logan starts to rise and then leaps toward him with a missile dropkick to the chest. Logan staggers but doesn’t fall down as Uryu gets up again and runs the ropes. Kincade aims a backhand at him but he ducks it and carries on running before sprinting back into a flying forearm (ala Tito Santana). Logan takes the blow flush and it knocks him back into the ropes and through the to the outside. Logan stumbles toward the announce area again as Uryu defies the referee’s orders and he grips the ropes for a catapult…

RJ: HAS TO BE A DQ!

Uryu is midair as Logan rips the coverings off the announce table and launches it upwards to collide with Ishida. The referee has no choice but to call the match off but Logan is far from done. He looks down at Uryu before ragging him up by the back of the neck and he lifts him for “Rough Justice” before slamming him, face-first, into the announce table. Uryu is practically out as Logan watches him fall to the floor and then heads for the steel steps. He dismantles the top half…….

JT: HE’S GONNA CRUSH HIS SKULL!

“Damien Andrews leads a security team down to ringside now and Andrews gets in front of Logan, who has the steps in his arms.

Andrews: Logan….you need to stop…

*Kincade isn’t listening to his father and takes a step forward

Logan: I told you, I’m done waiting….

Andrews: Then we’ll sort it….I’ll speak with Dragon….but you do this and that match is gone, and so are any other future prospects…they’ll haul you out…

*Logan stares at his father for what seems an age before he finally turns and launches the steps across the floor. Kincade’s breathing is heavy as he turns away and heads toward the ring. The ringside doctor is checking on Uryu now. Ishida is advancing in the tournament but will he be cleared to go again? And can anyone stop Logan’s path of terror and destruction? He is hell bent on a showdown with his brother.

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

*Mike Masters is doing his stretches ahead of his match with Geoff Steel whilst Jimmy Phillips is complaining about being overlooked. Masters assures Phillips that when he wins the tournament and becomes world champion again it will give the MVPs the spotlight they deserve.

Phillips doesn’t seem convinced and questions why Masters got the spot ahead of him. Masters takes offense at this and the two men argue. Can this tag team ever get off the ground?

*Jackson Jackson is carrying the FFTR case toward the VIP room when Max Adamson steps out of the GM’s office.

JJ: Max…

Max: Jackson…..didn’t think you’d go back to being an errand boy but I guess times are hard…

JJ: You know, Max, if you weren’t such an a55hole maybe you’d still have friends….family….

Max: Family? You mean ungrateful, selfish little sh*ts like, Rex?

JJ: All Rex needed was your guidance…

*Max laughs at this

Max: Behave yourself….I gave Rex plenty of guidance…

JJ: You stole his spotlight…

Max: I gave him the spotlight…..that’s the problem with you all, not a goddamn clue how this business works…..a year ago I teamed with Rex at Born in Fire….and then he challenged me to a fight and beat me……he was on the cusp……fast forward twelve months later under the banner of Genesis and where is he? On the exact same cusp….treading water….going nowhere…

And you’re the one advising him? Says it all…

*Max aims to leave but Jackson puts a hand on his arm. Max eyeballs Jackson

Max: I hope you’re willing to follow up on that because what happens next, you won’t like…

*Jackson takes his turn to laugh now

JJ: Always the same, Max….using your size, throwing your weight around…making threats….no wonder Rex looked elsewhere….that’s the thing….whether it’s you….whether it’s Kent….everyone is trying to keep him down….making him learn his place….

But newsflash….Rex’s place is at the top….not second best….not in the shadows…..he’s the best…and with me “advising” him the whole world is soon going to realise that…

Max: But I’ve tried to help….I can help….I want to…

JJ: What you want is revenge on Genesis for retiring you….but Rex isn’t your pawn, Max…..none of us are…..Rex Adamson is going to be the biggest star in this business….that....

*he taps the FFTR case

JJ: Is Money in the Bank!

*He winks at Max and walks away.

*Eddy Kent is relaxing ahead of tonight’s main event when Michael Sweetwater interrupts him. Kent keeps his eyes closed as he sags back on the sofa but Sweetwater is pacing back and forth.

Sweetwater: Hate to be the one to say it, boss….but we can’t trust Rex….

*Kent opens one eye and looks at Sweetwater

Kent: Explain…

Sweetwater: Cmon, Eddy…..what explanation does it need? You get a feel for this sh*t…..we’ve been running together for nearly fifteen years…..you know Genesis, I know Genesis….Rex Adamson ain’t no Genesis…

*Kent lets out a long sigh

Kent: Mikey….sit…

*Sweetwater looks confused but does as he is told. Kent sits up now and pats him on the knee, a smile crossing his face

Kent: My most trusted…..my General….you know I appreciate you, after everything we have been through….

Sweetwater: Just give the order….

Kent: I can’t, Mikey…

*Sweetwater looks taken aback

Kent: You are a tremendous soldier, Genesis owes you so much….but sometimes you need to understand that there are bigger things at play……Rex has struggled, it is true, but he has big shoes to fill…..now I know you have never gotten over the betrayal of Jackson Black….our original brother…

Sweetwater: This ain’t got anything to do with him…

Kent: But….not everyone that joins us is going to stab us in the back…

Sweetwater: But don’t you see….history is doomed to repeat itself unless we learn from our mistakes….why did Jackson turn on Lex?

Kent: Because he could never be number one…

*Sweetwater raises his eyebrows at Kent

Kent: This isn’t the same scenario, Mikey….

Sweetwater: Then where is he? Tag team title match on the horizon and he’s not even in here with us….he doesn’t travel with us…..that pr!ck Jackson Jackson as his advisor….do the math, Eddy…

*Kent suddenly slams his fist down on the coffee table. He looks angered for a second but then regains his smile

Kent: I understand and appreciate you bringing your concerns to me, Mikey….but I need to rest, my focus needs to be on tonight and those little parasites Percival and Perez….

*Sweetwater thinks about arguing again but bites his tongue and nods his head. He stands and walks out of the room. Kent sags back on the sofa

Kent: Siri……open “Find my Friends”….

*Geoff Steel walks out of his dressing room but finds himself surrounded by the members of Revolution.

Steel: So we’re going to do this now?

*Revolution have no words but suddenly Dicey Reilly and GazzyD walks into shot to join Steel. Reilly, Plague and Perfect Jack take a back step….all six men staredown one another.

Reilly: Clock’s a ticking, lads……Revolution is inevitable and you all find yourselves standing on the wrong side of history….

*Dicey looks at Gazzy and Steel before smirking

Dicey: I’m Irish, lad….history is never too kind….but you know what they say, when one of us goes to war….

*The crowd roar at this

Steel: I’m down for a war…

Gazzy: Count me in…

*Reilly, Jack and Angus Plague all exchange looks and then walk away

Steel: Appreciate it lads….

Dicey: Well least I could do after you two stopped me losing my job at Beachfront Brawl…

*Steel shakes hands with Gazzy and then readjusts the Xtreme Championship on his shoulder as he holds his hand out to Dicey. Dicey shakes it but he looks at the gold on Steel’s shoulder.

Dicey: A war huh?

*Steel looks at the belt and smiles

Steel: Any time…

Bout 2

Geoff Steel vs Mike Masters

*Mike Masters enters the fray to boos from the Dutch crowd. He is wearing his new gold and black MVP gear and he twirls underneath a shower of pyros before making his way down to the ring. The commentators are talking about Jimmy Phillips’ disgruntlement at not being selected for this tournament. Can this team ever get off the ground? Masters leaps up in the ring now and slicks back his hair as he waits for his opponent. Geoff Steel arrives now to a thunderous ovation. The Xtreme Champion steps out on the stage and soaks up the reception he is being afforded.

JT: The Dutch love Geoff Steel….

RJ: Yes they do….what a reception…

Steel bows in thanks before making his way down to the ring. He and Masters share a staredown (the commentators remarking on their meeting at Beachfront Brawl) as the referee goes over his instructions and expectations. Is Geoff Steel fully focused on this match or are the issues with Revolution playing on his mind?

JT: Steel needs to look at things simply and logically…he wants Daniel Reilly so winning this tournament is a no brainer….you win RTR and you callout Reilly for the EWF Championship at Born in Fire…

*They circle around for a tie up and Masters drops behind and pulls Steel’s legs from under him. Masters smirks as he struts around the ring, telling Steel how superior he is as a wrestler. Steel rises and they lockup again as Masters twists his right arm behind his back and wrenches it down before dropping to a knee and flipping Steel over his shoulders. He winks at the Xtreme Champion as they clamber up for a third time. They tie up for a third time and Masters applies a side headlock. He grins until Steel lifts him off the floor and just hauls him across the canvass, causing him to land on his hip. Masters looks annoyed as he stands and he marches up to Steel and pushes him in the chest. Steel just looks at him and then shoves him back into the ropes with real power. Masters storms forward with a right hand but Steel ducks under it and nails one of his own, dropping Masters. Masters rolls from the ring now, holding his jaw, and looks angry as he boots the steel steps. Masters contemplates walking away but then he gives the middle finger to the fans and climbs back in. He circles for a fourth lockup with Steel but then leaps in the air and dropkicks him in the mouth, knocking him down. Steel stumbles back up and Masters rolls him up for a two count.

*They both get up and Masters is quickest off the mark with a spinning heel kick. Steel gets up again and Masters dropkicks him into the corner before charging in for a monkey flip. Steel, however, puts the lock on and he uses his power to throw Masters over the ropes onto the apron. Masters lands on his feet and nails a step-up kick which staggers Steel before he catapults himself in. Steel catches Masters in his arms and nails a rib-breaker before scoop slamming him to the canvass. He slams him twice more in succession as Masters gets up before whipping him off the ropes and snapping him down with a spinebuster on the comeback for a two count. Steel drags Masters up and suplexes him into the air before releasing him at the top, causing him to drop hard on his chest. Steel then gutwrenches Masters off the mat onto his shoulders and charges him into a running powerslam for another nearfall.

*Steel signals to the crowd and then he drags Masters into position for the “Bladecutter” piledriver but Masters swipes his legs and bridges into a pin. Steel bridges back out on two and they spin out until Steel is able to land a hard boot to the stomach. He lifts Masters for a jackhammer now but Masters counters with a hurricanrana into a pinning combo for a two. They scramble again and Masters dodges a right hand before springing off the ropes into a crunching disaster kick. He covers but Steel kicks out. Masters gets up and he ushers Steel to his feet and then attempts a running “fame-a55er” but Steel rises into it and catches him in a powerbomb position before throwing him at the turnbuckle. Masters stumbles back out and is brutalised by a pumphandle slam. A three count? Not quite but Steel’s getting closer here.

*Steel heads for the corner and starts to rise up. Masters staggers to his feet and leaps into a dropkick that takes his feet out from under him. MM climbs the ropes now and he delivers a superplex before covering for a two count. Masters slicks his hair and complains to the referee before going on the stalk. He looks for the “Killswitch” but Steel pushes him against the ropes. He lowers his head for a backdrop but Masters leaps into a DDT on the comeback (ala Ziggler) for another two. The crowd have no choice but to applaud the fantastic action they are watching.

*Masters grabs Steel now for the “gringo killer” but Steel twists right through and he pops Masters into the air for a powerbomb. Masters jumps out the back and rolls to the corner. Steel chases but Masters avoids as the Xtreme Champ hits the turnbuckle and stumbles back out into a “zigzag neckbreaker”. Masters heads for the corner now and climbs up high before nailing an amazing 450 splash. The crowd believe they might be about to witness a huge upset but Steel is showing his toughness again by kicking out. Masters glares at the referee and he’s starting to feel the frustration. He rolls onto his feet and he beckons Steel up before attempting a springboard cutter. Steel stays put, however, and he catches Masters in place and drops him into a backbreaker across his knee before drilling him into the canvass with a release full nelson slam. Steel heads for the corner now and he launches himself into the flying headbutt but finds nothing but canvass. Steel is doubled over as Masters rolls him into a cradle……………1…………….2………thr-NO!

*The commentators remind us of the fifteen minute time limit and that both men will be starting to sweat on that. Masters tries for the “killswitch” again but Steel spins his body and lifts him for a death valley driver. Masters smashes his elbow into Steel’s jaw repeatedly and drops off before he ducks under a clothesline attempt and heads up the ropes into a “whisper in the wind” takedown. He dives on top, thinking he has it sewn up, but Steel almost boots him across the ring with his kickout. Steel rushes onto all fours to get up but Masters is over in a shot and crunches him into the canvass with a “famea55er”. Steel kicks out again and the crowd are deafening with their “This is awe-some” chant. Mike Masters would beg to differ, however.

*Masters rolls out of the ring and seems to be contemplating going for a weapon but then talks himself out of it “This guy ain’t on your level” he tells himself. He rolls up now and grips the ropes as he waits for Steel to stand and then springboards in for a flying forearm smash but Steel ducks it and rushes the ropes before returning with a rib-breaking spear. Steel grabs Masters’ legs now and he turns him over into the “Steelworks”. Masters is yelling in agony as Steel arches his back and drives his knee right into the spine. Masters is shaking his head, repeatedly, as he tries to drag himself over toward the ropes but is hauled back to the middle of the ring. The submission is in for nearly a minute before he has no choice but to tap out. Geoff Steel is taking his place in the semi-finals of the tournament.

We get a shot of the members of Revolution watching on a screen backstage and they don’t look pleased with what they are seeing. Back at ringside and Geoff Steel is celebrating his victory whilst Mike Masters skulks to the outside. A couple of fans pat Masters on his back for his efforts but he snaps at them and walks off. Steel looks up at the “Born in Fire” sign in the rafters as he slings his Xtreme belt over his shoulder….double champion?

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 12:46 pm

*Damien Andrews has Logan Kincade in the GM’s office following his assault on Uryu in the opening contest. Logan is making it clear that he wants to cause mayhem and destruction but Andrews makes it clear that he will be suspended and possibly fired if there are any more breaches. Logan again reiterates that he wants Blue Dragon……Andrews informs him that a proposal has been made and Blue Dragon is on his way to the building to give his answer…..until then Logan needs to keep his cool.

*Clarissa is interviewing Revolution ahead of the upcoming tag team match. Daniel Reilly first wants the beans spilt on the infamous brawl between himself and Dicey at Beachfront Brawl. Reilly accuses Dicey of being inebriated before the event even started and that he sucker punched the EWF Champion during an argument. Reilly says Dicey should have lost his job but the company have covered it up because they are protecting one of their favourites and it is yet another facet to the conspiracy that they don’t respect Reilly – which is why he won’t sign a new contract.

Reilly stands on business that he will leave the company as EWF Champion following Born in Fire but that Revolution will continue to dominate the professional wrestling world whether he is contracted here or not. Clarissa asks about potential challengers for Born in Fire but Reilly dismisses this by saying there’s nobody capable of stepping to him and certainly not capable of dethroning him. Reilly believes Revolution will dominate this company for years to come and hypes up Perfect Jack and Angus Plague.

Clarissa asks if 6CWF is wise in putting Reilly and Dicey in the same ring but Reilly says “I’m a professional unlike that oaf”. Reilly says he will teach Dicey some manners here tonight and if Gazzy tries to step in again (like he did at Beachfront Brawl) that this time he has someone to deal with that (Angus Plague smiles at this).

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Bout 3
Angus Plague/Daniel Reilly vs Dicey Reilly/GazzyD

*Revolution are becoming quite the focal point of 6CWF television it would seem and they are not making friends anywhere. Red lasers cut through the gloom before Daniel Reilly enters the fray with the EWF Global Championship on his shoulder. Will the winner of tonight’s tournament target Reilly and his championship? Reilly is joined by the hulking figure of Angus Plague and they head down to the ring to await their opposition.

JT: Angus Plague has been quite the acquisition of Revolution….

RJ: Perfect Jack brought him into the fold but you have to wonder if the plans to bring Revolution back from the dead were already in motion…

JT: I have a feeling they may have been….Angus Plague already looks like he could become a major player in 6CWF but no newcomer is going to turn down the chance to join forces with two of the absolute best to ever lace them up….this is a new and formidable force in the company…

*Reilly basks in the boos of the audience as he parades his world title belt in front of them before pyros explode and GazzyD is launched through a trapdoor onto the stage, met by a raucous reception from the Dutch fans. Gazzy walks from one side of the stage to the other and soaks up the adulation before making his way down the ramp…

RJ: Plenty of history between GazzyD and Daniel Reilly….you can trace that way back to 2011…

JT: Gazzy dethroned Reilly as 6CW Champion in that year, something that won’t be forgotten…

RJ: But needless to say Gazzy is fairly preoccupied as things stand….he is caught up in these issues between Reilly, Dicey and Geoff Steel but he clearly has his own demons haunting him…

JT: Edward Plague….of course, no relation to the man standing in the ring right now….Gazzy is certainly being hunted by someone right now…

RJ: I think there’s more than one of them, that’s an even bigger problem….

*Gazzy stands at the base of the ring before the crowd goes wild once more for the arrival of Dicey Reilly. Dicey’s knee is strapped (Stone Cold style brace) but he raises an arm to the crowd and makes his way down to join Gazzy…

JT: There is no doubt that knee is still an issue for Dicey Reilly…

RJ: An injury caused by the other man in Revolution, Perfect Jack…..

JT: Helped in that by Angus Plague….Dicey is out for retribution here….

RJ: But there is so much more to this story…..6CWF tried to keep the story quiet of the altercation between Dicey and Daniel Reilly at Beachfront Brawl but nothing is safe when the media is around…

JT: Both men have been reprimanded by the company for their actions but the needle here is real…..they don’t like one another…

RJ: I’m not sure anyone really likes Reilly….

JT: Be that as it may, he is a world champion and therefore he’s a prime target heading into Born in Fire season…

*The bell sounds as Gazzy offers to take the stand with Angus Plague. There is a noticeable size difference between them as they circle for position and then AP lunges. Gazzy sidesteps and crashes a kick to the stomach. He grabs Plague’s head and tries to drag him into the “Deep Impact” but he is backdropped over the ropes. Gazzy holds on and tries to “skin the cat” but Angus Plague is waiting for him and catches him on his shoulders. He spins him around and runs to the corner for snake eyes but Gazzy drops off the back and shoves AP against the turnbuckle before dragging him out and he nails the “Downtown” (skull crushing finale) for a two. What a start from GazzyD, wasting absolutely no time at all here!

*Gazzy grabs AP by the hair but is shoved back into the corner. Plague charges in but Gazzy spins around the ropes and nails a kick over the top, staggering him back. Gazzy goes to the top rope now but Reilly grabs his legs and rags them out for under him, crotching him on top. The referee admonishes Reilly now as Angus Plague nails a huge iconoclasm from the ropes on Gazzy and covers for a two. Gazzy is dazed from the impact as AP stalks him and drags him up before ripcording him around for the “Dragons’ Breath” (Rainmaker) but Gazzy ducks it and springs off the ropes for twisting the big man into a tornado DDT. Gazzy grabs the turnbuckle now and connects with “starship pain”…………………1………………….2………AP POWERS OUT, the man is a freak of nature!

*The crowd are cheering Gazzy on but they also want Dicey to get some revenge on the men who injured him. Dicey takes the tag and the audience roar. AP staggers up as Dicey slams into him with a clothesline and then he ushers him back up again and looks for an Irish whip. Plague is too powerful and sends Dicey off the ropes but the Irishman ducks a big boot on the comeback and then leaps into a Lou Thesz Press. Dicey hammers home with repeated right hands and then he stands and bounces off the ropes for a huge Hogan legdrop……………………1…………….2……………kickout again. Dicey stands and gives the middle finger to Reilly before grabbing AP by the head….

JT: CRAICDOWN!

Plague kicks his feet and remains standing before he swipes Dicey’s legs and he catapults him toward the ropes…

RJ: RKO…..WHAT A COUNTER!

Dicey flies to the ropes and Reilly catches him with a guillotine-style cutter across the top rope. Angus Plague is able to drape an arm across Dicey’s chest………………………1……………………2……………….Dicey pushes his shoulder off the mat just in time.

JT: Wasn’t a clean RKO otherwise this could have been a very quick finish…

RJ: Reilly eager to get in now though….

JT: Now Dicey is weakened….

*Reilly tags in and he stomps all over Dicey before he drags him up and flips him onto his shoulders for a fallout neckbreaker. Reilly leaps up and lands a kneedrop to the head and covers for a two. Reilly grabs Dicey’s bad leg and lifts it off the mat before slamming it down into the canvass. Dicey rolls away to the corner as Reilly stalks him and then chokes him with his boot until the referee breaks them, warning the EWF Champion. Dicey drags himself up and Reilly pulls him away from the corner for a back suplex but Dicey elbows him away. Reilly comes back around and Dicey kicks him in the gut for a double armed DDT but Reilly drives him back into the corner. The referee breaks them as Angus Plague chokes Dicey against the turnbuckle whilst Reilly argues with the official. Dicey walks forward now and eats a massive dropkick to the face from Reilly. Reilly kneels for a second, admiring his handiwork, and then he heads for the corner to climb. Reilly perches there and then launches himself into a frogsplash…..NOTHING BUT CANVASS!

*Dicey makes his way back up now and grabs Reilly and launches him against the ropes, knocking Angus Plague to the arena floor, before he drills the EWF Champion with a brainbuster for a two count. Dicey climbs on top of Reilly now and explodes with rights and lefts until the referee breaks them up. Reilly scrambles to the corner, holding his jaw, as Dicey circles around and charges in for the “Hangover Cure” knee strike but AP drags Reilly under the ropes to safety…..Dicey looks annoyed until Gazzy climbs the opposite turnbuckle and launches off with a senton takedown on Angus Plague and Reilly on the outside. Gazzy drags Reilly back up and slings him into the ring….WHITE NOISE FROM DICEY………………1……………………2……………….Reilly just manages to get his shoulder off the mat!

*Dicey grabs Reilly by the head and looks to flip him for a powerbomb but Reilly drops to a knee and slams a hammerfist against Dicey’s injured leg. Reilly grabs the ankle now and applies the submission in the middle of the ring. Dicey yells out in pain as Reilly shouts “Tap mother***er” and wrenches at the ankle, turning it at a sickening angle. Dicey makes a rush for the ropes but Reilly drags him back and applies a legvine to keep him in place. Dicey is refusing to tap out but how much more damage can he take…..

JT: SPRINGBOARD 450!

Gazzy slams down on top of Reilly to break the submission and then rolls back to the corner to wait for the tag. Dicey is in pain but he hauls himself over as Reilly does the same to Angus Plague. Double tag made as Gazzy springboards in and dropkicks AP off his feet. They get back up and Gazzy ducks a clothesline before returning off the ropes with a slingblade takedown.

RJ: This is as good as I have seen Gazzy since he lost the world title…..is he refinding his form?

*AP staggers back up and Gazzy dropkicks his knees out from under him and then he nails an asai moonsault across the back. Plague rolls over on his back now as Gazzy clambers out on the apron and scales the ropes…

JT: SPINAL TAP!

Gazzy twists himself off the ropes into the corkscrew attack but Angus Plague moves and sends him clattering in a heap on the canvass. AP gets back up now and he beckons Gazzy to his feet before decimating him with a huge chokeslam. Angus Plague is looking dominant now as he flicks his hair from his face and he ushers Gazzy back up and gets him on his shoulders…

RJ: PESTILENCE!
Angus Plague crushes Gazzy into the bottom turnbuckle with the flying death valley driver and then he pulls him away from the corner and makes the cover……………..1…………………..2…………Dicey places Gazzy’s boot on the rope to prevent the three count. Dicey looks at Angus Plague…

Dicey: Come get some you big b1tch…

JT: I’m not sure that’s wise of Dicey…

RJ: He doesn’t give a damn…..Dicey would fight anyone….

*Angus Plague is about to roll from the ring but the referee gets in front of him. Dicey is continuing to goad the big man until Daniel Reilly hits him in the back of the head with the EWF Championship belt. Reilly silences the booing fans as he swaggers back to his corner and Angus Plague is able to concentrate back on Gazzy. Gazzy is on very unsteady legs as Plague slings him on his shoulders....

RJ: Calls this the “What a horrible night to have a curse”….

Gazzy kicks his legs and battles against the “Steiner Screwdriver” before managing to drop off and fall toward the ropes. AP spins around and charges but Gazzy drops and pulls down the ropes, sending Angus Plague flying to the outside. Gazzy staggers back up now and he runs the opposite side and then returns into twisting corkscrew attack that takes Plague backward into the security railing….

JT: THIS IS CHAOS!

*Daniel Reilly clatters Gazzy on the arena floor and then slings him back in the ring as the referee climbs out to give him a telling off. Reilly and the official are getting into it as Dicey drags “Betsie” (the barbed wire bat) from under the apron and he smashes it across Angus Plague’s head, sending him over the railing into the front row of the crowd. Dicey climbs onto the apron now and he takes the blind tag from Gazzy but remains on the apron as a decoy.

Reilly rolls in now and he drags Gazzy around for the “RKO” but Gazzy pushes him into the ropes and then kicks him in the stomach. Gazzy looks for the “Deep Impact” but Reilly spins from nowhere and nails the RKO. He covers but the referee tells him Gazzy isn’t legal. Reilly looks annoyed and surprised as the referee helps Gazzy from the ring….Dicey climbs in now and…

RJ: He took the knee brace off…..WHAT A SHOT!

Dicey lashes the solid knee brace off the top of Reilly’s head and slings it under the ropes before hooking the leg as the referee comes back around…………………1………………..2……………..3!

JT: Dicey just pinned the EWF Champion….what are the ramifications of this one….

RJ: I have absolutely no idea but what a moment……what a victory….

JT: It looked almost impossible when Reilly hit Dicey in the back of the skull with the championship belt….but Dicey showed, once again, that he is not afraid to get his hands dirty….Angus Plague was introduced to “Betsie” for the first time and Daniel Reilly came unstuck….

RJ: Revolution put Dicey in that kneebrace….call it karma, payback or whatever you like….

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 12:51 pm

*Chris Patricks walks into the GM’s office and just stares at Max Adamson

Max: Chris…

*Patricks shuts the door

CP: That’s it….”Chris”….

*Max looks up and sighs

Max: If this is another monologue about Uryu, I’m not interested mate….

*Patricks looks annoyed

CP: You know I look at you and I don’t even recognise the man sat before me…..a year ago I came back to this business for you….against my family’s best wishes….went to war for you, did everything I could to keep your career alive…

Max: And you know I’m grateful…

CP: Are you? Because from where I’m standing I don’t see a little gratitude…

Max: What do you want, Chris?

CP: What I want is for you to stop sticking up for all these pieces of sh*t that didn’t have your back when you needed it most….that little sh*t runt , Rex…..now the useless f***ing eunuch Ishida….maybe stick up for me….the man who put it all on the line for you…

Max: So it’s handouts you want? That why you’ve been cosying up with Andrews?

*Patricks sneers

CP: F*** you…..I’ve never asked you for anything….and I’ll earn my shots…but maybe remember who was there when you had nobody…

Max: I remember…

CP: Beg to differ….

Max: Look, Chris…you’ve got a tournament match coming up….the RTR is a great way for you to earn a championship match at Born in Fire…..I know you can win it…..maybe after that we can catchup….I know Joyce and the kids are here too, we’ll go out for dinner….celebrate…

*Patricks looks at Max for a minute and then nods

CP: Sounds good……just a little faith, that’s all I needed….hope I meet that d1ck Ishida at some point in the RTR though so I can beat his a55…

*Patricks leaves as Max rolls his eyes

Max: Take the GM job, Max….it’ll be great fun, Max…..f*** me!

*We see Rex Adamson and Jackson talking in the VIP room.

Rex: Just wanted you to know I appreciate you having my back, J….it’s nice to have someone who doesn’t have any kind of expectation from me…

Jackson: Only expectation, bro, is that you become world champion….this is your time…..the throne belongs to you

*We see Michael Sweetwater listening from outside the room and he looks angered by what he is hearing.

*Dicey Reilly hobbles into the backstage area swinging his knee brace. Jack Reynolds approaches for an interview and congratulates him on the big tag team win.

Reynolds: I guess that means you’ll be campaigning for a shot at Reilly at Born in Fire? A pinfall victory over the EWF Champion has to have repercussions?

Dicey: Whatever management see fit…..they know I’ll fight anyone and I’d love to hold world championship gold once again, that’s why I came back….to prove I still belong at the top…ask the people….do you want to see Dicey Reilly fight for a world title at Born in Fire?

*Ultra pop from the crowd and Dicey smiles

Reynolds: And the knee? How’s that healing up?

Dicey: Doing good, lad….good enough to pin a world champion, anyway….

Reynolds: An ultra competitive roster right now so the queue is a long one for a shot at the big time…plus there’s the RTR tournament ongoing where the winner gets to choose a title to challenge for at Born in Fire….would you object to a match against anyone else in order to further cement your claim?

Dicey: Like I said, Jack, I’ll fight anyone….I don’t think there’s many people on this roster right now who own a recent victory over Daniel Reilly but if so then line ‘em up……everyone knows that Dicey Reilly was Born…

Crowd: TO FIGHT!

Dicey: So whoever wants it…

*There is another pop now as Geoff Steel walks into shot

Steel: Congrats, Dice….great win…

Dicey: Back at you…

Steel: I just wanted to make it clear….I respect you, always have….my focus tonight is the RTR tournament and if I manage to win that then, naturally, my choice will be Daniel Reilly at Night of Glory…

*Dicey nods at this

Steel: But I know you want that too….so all respect aside, if we have to….

*Dicey is smirking

Dicey: I hear you, Geoff…..let the dice fall as they may….but if it comes down to it, may the best man win!

*The crowd roar as Steel and Dicey shake hands to end the scene

*Scott Harris is finishing up his prep for his upcoming match. He speaks with Tim Allen about the RTR and how it represents a huge opportunity for him to end 2024 with championship gold, something he vowed would happen. Harris knows that retaining the crown he won in 2023 is a hard feat, especially given his injuries, but he believes in himself. Perfect Jack strides past now on his way out to ringside for his contest.

Harris: The f*** you smiling at?

PJ: You….and your pathetic self-belief that you have any chance of winning this tournament whilst I’m in it….face facts, Scott, you are a nearly man…..nearly fifteen years into your career and still not a single title of your own to show for it…if I was you, I’d have given up by now…

*Harris steps closer to Jack now

Harris: This just in, you’re not me….and you don’t have any idea of what I’m capable of….but maybe sometime soon, you can find out…

*Harris looks down at the European Championship around Jack’s waist. Jack grins

PJ: You wouldn’t stand a chance….but if I ever fancy a tune up for a proper match, I’ll give you a shout…

Chris Patricks vs Perfect Jack

*Third quarter final time as we get a graphic of Chris Patricks & Perfect Jack across the screen. The commentators are anticipating a fantastic clash between the two former world champions. Chris Patricks is the first to arrive and is met by a mixed review. We are reminded of Patricks’ anger and frustration in regards to his treatment since returning to 6CWF and the ongoing issues he has with Uryu Ishida; including a challenge laid down for a match at Born in Fire.

RJ: Of course that may change quite quickly if Patricks was to win the Road to Royalty….a guaranteed championship match at Born in Fire would make him rethink his challenge to Uryu…

*Perfect Jack arrives now, showered with boos from the Dutch crowd, as he twirls on the spot and displays his European Championship from under his robe. Jack is back to wearing the red and black of Revolution and he makes his way to ringside and climbs up inside. He and Patricks trade some trash talk as the referee checks them both over for concealments. The commentators voice their surprise that Reilly and Angus Plague are not out here but Reilly is likely licking his wounds after what went down in the earlier bout.

*They tie up and Jack drops around the back and takes CP’s waist. He lifts him off the floor but CP drops down and swings Jack over his hips. They scramble back up and Jack drop toe holds Patricks to the canvass before grabbing his leg. He lifts it off the mat and then slams it back down before trying to turn him back over and apply the figure four. Patricks places his boot in the small of PJ’s back and shoves him back to the corner. He scrambles to his feet and runs in but Jack crashes an elbow into his jaw and then seizes him and nails an overhead throw into the turnbuckle, leaving Patricks slumped upside down. Jack rises and he stomps on Patricks repeatedly until the referee breaks and pushes PJ backward.

*Patricks gets back up now and PJ lashes chops against his chest. He grabs his arm for an Irish whip but Patricks spins inside and nails a standing monkey flip. CP follows up with a standing moonsault and then runs the ropes for “rolling thunder” but Jack rolls from the ring before impact. Patricks circles the ring with a wry grin and then he runs forward and launches himself over the top into a crossbody takedown in front of the announce desks. He drags PJ back up now and slings him into the ring before dragging himself onto the apron. Jack staggers up as Patricks springboards in and lands a solid front dropkick to the chest which sends his foe flying back into the opposite ropes. Jack collapses in a heap and rolls on his back. CP listens to the cheers of his own fans and heads for the corner. He jumps up top with the “Puzzle Solver” in mind but Jack moves at the final second.

*PJ goes on the hunt and then wraps his hands to snap off a release German suplex. He drags Patricks up again to execute a snap suplex and then hauls him up a third time into a side Saito suplex which gets him a two count.

JT: The resurgence of Perfect Jack in recent months has been something to behold…

RJ: And with Revolution backing him, the sky could be the limit once more for this future hall of famer….

Jack snaps on a nerve hold as he attempts to keep CP grounded in a seated position. Patricks gets to a knee and rises before smashing elbows into Jack’s gut to break his grip. He then runs the ropes but returns into a hiptoss. Jack boots Patricks in the spine and reapplies the nerve grip to the neck. Patricks is wincing in pain but he fights against it as he rises again. Again he drives elbows and punches at Jack’s stomach before running the ropes. Jack thinks he has him scouted for another hiptoss but Patricks lands on his feet and boots PJ in the stomach before drilling him with a snap DDT for a two count.

*Patricks leaps over the ropes to the apron and waits for Jack to rise before attempting a “buckshot lariat”. PJ ducks and attempts a German suplex but CP rolls back down and through for a pin that garners a two. Both men get back up and Patricks springs to the ropes and attempts a tornado DDT but PJ stands firm and counters with a northern lights suplex into a near fall. Jack heads to the corner now and starts to climb but Patricks runs over and leaps high through the air (ala Del Rio) with a whipping enzeguiri to the temple, sitting PJ down on the ropes. Patricks climbs up now and delivers an exceptional frankensteiner before he follows up with “rolling thunder” but Jack thrusts his shoulder off the canvass just in time.

*Jack rolls out on the apron to catch his breath but CP runs the opposite ropes and returns with a low flying baseball slide to the spine which sends Jack flying into the aisleway. CP grins as he counts along with the referee now. The count gets to six as Jack pulls himself on the apron but then Patricks springs off the turnbuckle and dropkicks him (ala Jericho) back to the arena floor. The referee is keeping the count going and Jack is in trouble now. We are at 9 and a half as Jack throws himself under the ropes just in time. Patricks grabs him and pulls him to the centre ring for a flipping piledriver attempt but Jack swipes his legs and applies a single-legged Boston Crab in the middle ring. PJ sits himself right on the back of CP and stretches his leg as far as it will go. The referee is asking Patricks if he wants to give it up but he shakes his head, furiously, and tries to claw his way toward the ropes. The hold lasts almost a minute before Patricks is able to wrap himself around the bottom rope.

*Jack stomps down on the back and legs of Patricks until the referee intervenes and issues him a warning. CP struggles up as Jack stomps on the back of his knee and then looks for an Irish whip. He lowers his head for a backdrop on the comeback but CP flips over his back and runs the opposite side before charging back with one-handed bulldog takedown. Jack rolls closer to one of the corner as Patricks staggers off, wincing from pain in his leg and back, and then he springs up and connects with a split-legged moonsault……………1………….2……..Jack just manages to throw his shoulder off the mat. Patricks looks at the referee and he is clearly frustrated with the counts. He stands up and grabs Jack by the head and looks to whip him off the ropes for the “Enigma Bomb” but Jack lands out on his feet and smashes a knee to the gut. He grips Patricks for the “Perfect Plex” but Patricks twists PJ around and drills him with a “crossrhodes” for a ridiculously close two.

*Patricks spits in annoyance before bouncing back off the ropes and returns with a low, flush, dropkick to the mouth of a seated PJ. Jack is flat on his back now as Patricks rolls to the corner and leaps up high. He looks down on PJ and then throws himself into the “Puzzle Solver” but this time it’s the knees of the European Champ that drive up into Patricks’ midsection. Jack recovers now with a grin on his face and he looks for the “Perfect Slam” but Patricks counters with an armdrag in midair. They get back up and PJ sidesteps CP and sends him off the ropes. Patricks returns and leaps into a spinning wheelbarrow position before rolling forward to pull Jack down into a pinning combo. Jack, however, drops to his knees on top of CP and pins him whilst grabbing the ropes for leverage out of the sight of the referee.

RJ: HE STOLE IT!!!

JT: Chris Patricks cannot believe it…

RJ: And I’m sure he’s going to tell everyone about it….but this time, I admit, he has justification……great contest but Perfect Jack has cheated his way to the W…

JT: And cheated his way into the semi-finals of the Road to Royalty….

PJ rolls from the ring and snatches his European Championship, smirking at the boos from the crowd. Chris Patricks is on his knees and looking at the referee in disbelief but the official is indicating he didn’t see any infringement. PJ swaggers into the aisleway now as Patricks continues to remonstrate and curse his bad luck.

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 12:55 pm

*Acer has arrived in Amsterdam and we see him walking inside the Ziggo Dome. Clarissa rushes over to speak to him but Acer waves her away…

Acer: I’ve said all that needs to be said….done everything that needs to be done….nothing and nobody is standing in my way tonight…

*Acer carries on walking toward the dressing rooms as we see an irate Chris Patricks storming into the backstage area. Max Adamson and Damien Andrews are talking with some production staff as Patricks marches over to them.

Patricks: The f*** was that?

*Andrews takes a step back and is smiling at the confrontation

Max: Chris, why don’t we just calm down…

CP: Calm down….you’re having a laugh…..did you see that s**t? Cheated again…..if I’m not being overlooked and disrespected, I’m being cheated…..

Max: Like I said, Chris, we’ll go out after the show….with the family….talk it through…

CP: You can shove your meal up your a55….you’re just as bad as the rest of them, “mate”….

*We see Uryu walk into shot at Clarissa’s side. She looks at him and smiles

Clarissa: I’m not sure it’s wise you being here…

Uryu: I know, fun isn’t it?

*Patricks turns and sees Uryu now

CP: Look at him standing over there….you fake f***…..worst thing that ever happened was me losing in this tournament…..BECAUSE YOU’RE F***ED AT BORN IN FIRE…

Uryu: Not if I win the tournament…..imagine that….

*Patricks is irate now and makes a beeline for Uryu but Max gets involved and pushes him back. Max turns to Andrews

Max: You’re not going to help?

*Andrews smiles and walks away

Patricks: Now you’re going to protect him….look at him, f***ing weasel….

*Max clicks his fingers for security to escort Patricks away. CP is looking at Max with fury

CP: You haven’t forgotten huh? This is bulls***….

*Patricks is led away as Max turns to Uryu and Clarissa

Max: You really didn’t help this situation…

*Uryu shrugs and winks at Clarissa as Max shakes his head and walks away.

*GazzyD is sitting in the dressing room on FaceTime to Christy and Willow. He is smiling whilst playing peek-a-boo with his daughter. Christy congratulates Gazzy on his win and says she wants to be there at Born in Fire for whatever match he has. Gazzy is unsure if he wants his family there and still hasn’t heard from Angel (which is unusual). Christy is sure Gazzy’s best friend is fine….

Christy: He’s probably off adventuring again, you know what he’s like…

*Gazzy sighs and nods before resuming his game with Willow. He closes his eyes but when he opens them the screen has been taken over by the face of Edward Plague

Plague: RUN!

*Gazzy drops his phone but then catches it and when he looks again it’s just the smiling face of his daughter and wife

Christy: Are you ok?

Gazzy: Yeah, yeah absolutely fine….just a long day……can’t wait to get home….I love you both…

Christy: We love you too!

*Gazzy hangs up and closes his eyes, trying to regain his composure as we see hooded figures gathered in the background of the camera shot.

*Rex is back in the gym getting ready for the main event when Miss Jessica walks in and straddles a bench in front of him.

Jessica: Rexy….

*Rex continues to lift weights as Jessica takes selfies of herself in front of him

Jessica: You seem tense….preoccupied….anything Mami can help with?

*Her eyes travel down his body and she bites her lip

Rex: No….thanks though, Jess….just want to be ready for tonight…

Jessica: This seems an awful lot of prep for Percival and Perez…..you could beat those two by yourself with your eyes closed….

Rex: Always have to be ready….

Jessica: I feel like your keeping something from me Rex….I thought we didn’t have secrets…

*She stands now and twirls her hair as she gets close to him. Rex is lifting dumbbells as Jessica’s fingers run up his biceps

Jessica: You know, you can tell Mami anything….

*Rex continues looking forward at the mirror, focusing on his form

Rex: I know, Jess, and I’m thankful for that…..but I just want to be prepared….

*Jessica walks around Rex’s back now and massages his huge shoulder and neck muscles

Jessica: I know, you said…….but maybe we could prepare together…..after all The Brothers of Seduction have made me a bit of a target too…..perhaps I need to be ready as well…

*She flutters her eyelashes at Rex now as he sets down the weights

Rex: See that’s the thing though, Jess….

*She raises her eyebrows

Rex: I never said I needed to be prepared for them…..

*Rex picks up his towel and walks out of the room. Jessica watches him leave and then she lifts her phone up to reveal she’s been on call with Michael Sweetwater

Sweetwater: Knew it…

Bout 5

Acer vs Scott Harris

*The final quarter final is upon us and the Dutch crowd are making some serious noise as we return to ringside. Scott Harris walks out first and is met by a huge cheer. He raises his crown to the audience as we get a recap on Harris’ victory in the 2023 RTR. Can he reclaim his throne again tonight? Harris readjusts his protective mask and makes his way to ringside before pulling himself up into the ring. JT and RJ are in agreement that Harris shouldn’t really have been afforded medical clearance given the state his face was in last week. But Harris is a warrior and he is here to defend his kingdom.

*Acer then arrives and it is a cacophony of boos aimed in his direction. There is no doubting that the majority of fans are no longer onside after his actions since Beachfront Brawl. Acer eyes the crowd with indifference before pulling back on his hair and makes his way toward the ring. Can Acer win the RTR and secure a title shot at Born in Fire? Or will his ongoing issues with JJ Johnson distract him from the bigger picture? Acer rolls into the ring now and he eyes Scott Harris as the referee keeps them separated. The commentary team remind us of the rivalry between the two men that led into the last PPV. There will be needle in this one.

*They lockup but then Acer breaks grip and he slaps Harris in the mouth. He just looks at his foe as Harris shrugs his shoulders and lands a bomb of a right hand. He follows up with a chop to the chest and whips Acer to the corner, where he smashes chest-first against the turnbuckle and collapses (ala Bret Hart). Harris drags Acer back up and double underhooks him into a backbreaker and covers for a two. Harris nails a snap suplex on Acer now before leaping into a kneedrop and covers for another close call. Harris pulls Acer up by the head again but Acer slams the palm of his hand into the front of Harris’ protective mask and then drills him with a downward spiral from nowhere…………….1……………..2………..Harris pops his arm.

*Acer clubs Harris across the back before slinging him to the corner. He stomps at his midsection and drives a heavy back elbow into the jaw. Harris is lifted onto the ropes now and Acer climbs up to deliver a superplex but Harris battles back and manages to launch him off the ropes to the canvass. Harris recovers his footing and leaps off but Acer sidesteps him and sends him crashing on his face. Acer punts Harris in the ribcage and then pulls him up into a package piledriver for another two. Acer circles and drops to a knee as he prepares for a spear but he charges straight into a codebreaker from nothing. Harris drops an arm on Acer’s chest but he is able to kick out in time.

*Harris circles Acer and wants the “Shot in the dark” but Acer drops over the back and slams Harris down with an “edge’o’matic”. He crawls for the corner and climbs up high before launching himself into a shooting star press but slams down on his chest as Harris moves. Harris gets up and runs into cradle cover for a two. They get back up and Harris lifts Acer off the mat and drills him with a belly to belly slam (ala Ken Shamrock). He points to the corner now and the crowd will him on as he scales the ropes to the top and nails the frogsplash. Harris hooks the leg and the commentators believe he is heading for the semi-finals but Acer succeeds in kicking out.

*Harris pulls Acer into place for a suplex transitioned into a backbreaker (ala Roderick Strong) but Acer floats over the back and he shoves Harris in the back, sending him to the ropes, and nails a snapping pop-up powerbomb as he comes back. Acer follows up with a standing shooting star but Harris kicks out. Acer drops into full guard and nails punches and forearms to Harris’ face and then tries to pull his head up into a guillotine choke but Harris rolls with him on the canvass and ends up on top. Harris tries to grab Acer’s legs for the sharpshooter but is kicked back into the corner. Acer rolls up as Harris runs out toward him for the “Kneeds More Harris” but it is ducked as Harris is sent crashing on the mat. Acer runs back off the ropes now and crunches into Harris with a spear as he rises……………………1…………….2…………..NO!

*Acer confronts the referee and looks manic, the frustration growing. He drags Harris up and tries to flip him into the “Barry White” Driver but Harris drops over the back and nails a hat-trick of German suplexes. Both men are flat on their backs, looking up at the lights, as the audience will Harris up to finish the job. Harris drags himself up and again he looks for the “Shot in the dark” slam but Acer takes him down by the arm and tries to apply a crossface instead. Harris rolls free and they scramble before Harris sidesteps and sends Acer against the turnbuckle before connecting with an exceptional t-bone suplex as he turns around. Can Harris retain his crown? Not right now because Acer popped his shoulder and this match will continue.

*We see Angus Plague and Perfect Jack walking out on the stage now, drawing the ire of the audience. Is Jack here to scout competition or is this about crossed words with Harris backstage? Harris looks up at the Revolution members but then turns his attention back to Acer. He hauls him up and tries to powerbomb him into a backbreaker but Acer kicks his legs and lands on his feet before swiping Harris’ feet. He catapults him to the corner, where he smashes his face, and then drills him with a snap dragon on the comeback. Harris rolls over on his knees as Acer runs into him with a brutal kick to the damaged face. Surely that will end it? HARRIS KICKS OUT. A “Needs more Harris” chant is reverberating around the Ziggo Dome now.

*Acer is clearly unhappy as he heads for the turnbuckle. He has the kneedrop on his mind (the move that caused Harris’ injury in the first place) but Harris is up and he charges up the turnbuckle to nail a huge armdrag takedown from on high. Harris takes Acer down with a running clothesline and then kicks him in the stomach before nailing the “End of Heartache” backbreaker across his knees out of the suplex position. Harris gets up now and grabs Acer’s legs to turn him into the sharpshooter. Perfect Jack and Angus Plague are ringside now and Jack, mockingly, holds up his hands in faux innocence as the referee spots him.

Harris sits into the sharpshooter now as Acer yells out in pain. Perfect Jack just stares at Harris and watches. Acer is in a lot of pain but he refuses to quit as he drags himself across the canvass and is eventually able to grab the bottom rope. Harris releases the submission but now walks near the ropes where PJ is standing and kicks at them. Jack looks to retaliate by leaping on the apron as the referee rushes over to usher him down. Angus Plague rolls into the ring now and he runs through Harris with a brutal boot to the injured face before leaping out to the opposite side. The crowd are booing now as Plague joins PJ back in the aisleway and they both seem happy with their handiwork. Harris is groggy now and clutches his injured face as he gets to his feet…..ACCESS ALL AREAS!!! Acer just used JJ Johnson’s stunner………………..1…………………2………………3!

*Acer advances and Scott Harris’ reign as “King of 6CWF” is over thanks to Revolution. Perfect Jack and Angus Plague are happy with their work as they head backstage now….”No way does Scott Harris let this one go” chimes RJ. Acer stands tall now and he raises the “Coalition” arm into the air but he is booed by the Dutch fans. Acer pulls back on his hair now and leaves the ring….

RJ: One step closer to competing for a world championship at Born in Fire…..

JT: A feat that means so much to Acer at an event that he helped build…it’s almost poetic….

RJ: Still two matches to navigate first, however…

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 1:01 pm

*Scott Harris walks into the backstage area and he looks angered by what just went down during his match with Acer. Jack Reynolds wants to grab a word with him but Harris says he’s tired of bulls**t interference and being screwed at every avenue. Harris knows his stock will never rise in this company by playing the “nice guy” so perhaps he needs to start playing by a new set of rules.

The cameras then switch to outside the building as an Aston Martin Valkyrie pulls up. The doors swing open and we see two people climbing out. Who is here?

*Back out at ringside and Damien Andrews is standing in the middle of the ring. Blue Dragon’s music hits to a huge ovation and he’s marching his way down to the ring. Dragon tells Andrews to “shut your f***ing mouth” because he’s here to address Logan…

BD: Last week I looked into your eyes, big brother…..and I realised that whatever darkness has taken your soul, I can’t remove it….and deep down I don’t think you want it removed….

*Dragon cricks his neck

BD: I don’t want this fight, Logan….I’ve made that clear….but I don’t think that means anything to you, you’d pursue me to the ends of this Earth to satisfy your bloodlust….

And so I now know what needs to be done…..against my will but in preservation of my own life…..we end this!

*Crowd pop

BD: You tell me that I have betrayed you….that I turned my back on our monstrous ways, that I became humanised….but how very wrong you are…

I’m smarter than you, Logan….that’s the difference….there is control to my violence and that is what is going to set us apart…..but as far as the demon inside, I assure you he’s very much alive and kicking…..and he’s ready…

You know just as I do that there’s only one place for me and you…….the Devil’s favourite Sons….we can’t fight down there (he points beneath the ground) but we can bring the playground up here….

So Born in Fire, Logan…..me and you…..you want this (he holds up the 6CW Championship)…..and you want me……then I’ll see you in HARDCORE HELL!!!

*The audience go wild at this whilst Damien Andrews looks on in shock. Flames suddenly burst from the stage as Logan Kincade walks out to confront his brother. Damien Andrews scrambles for the mic

DA: Logan….I know full well that you are going to accept your brother’s challenge and there is nothing I can do about that…

*Logan is glaring down at the ring with fire in his eyes

DA: But if this is what you both want….what you truly want….and I can’t stand in the way of that….then I’m resigned to it….but 6CWF are clear in their terms….no physical contact until Born in Fire….if either of you breaks those terms….Dragon….you’re stripped and suspended……Logan….you’re fired….

*The tension is palpable as both brothers continue to stare at one another with their father in between them. The commentators are hyping the “most brutal Born in Fire main event of all time”.

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 1:03 pm

*We see Percy Percival and Brandon Perez arriving amidst massive fanfare from the Dutch fans. Brandon Perez looks like he’s just come out of the Red Light District as he poses for pictures with a sexx doll. Percy is walking along the canal fronts and leading the fans in chants and singing.

RJ: Are we about to witness one of the biggest shocks in 6CWF history?

JT: I just can’t see it…

RJ: I wouldn’t rule it out…

The Brothers of Seduction make their way to the front of the arena now as we see Miss Jessica leading a fan rally. Brandon Perez looks in her direction and winks before acting out some outrageous things with the sexx doll. Miss Jessica cannot take her eyes off Perez (is she smitten or disgusted?).

*There is a blazing argument ensuing in the Genesis dressing room between Sweetwater and Rex Adamson.

Sweetwater: I heard you….go ahead and deny it…

Rex: Heard what? Me saying I needed to be prepared……hold the front pages because Sherc0ck Holmes has worked it all out….

Sweetwater: I never trusted you….

*Rex is smirking and shaking his head. Sweetwater looks ready to lunge as Eddy Kent presses him back

Kent: Mikey….

Sweetwater: We heard it, Eddy….this f***er is going to screw us…

Kent: I heard the conversation myself…

*Rex raises an eyebrow now

Rex: Are you all f***ing spying on me?

*Kent shoots him a look

Kent: Of course not…..Jessica had us on three way…

Rex: Not for the first time (under his breath)…

*Kent chooses to ignore this

Kent: And I have to admit I don’t share the same concerns as you, Mikey….Rex was merely saying he had to be prepared for anything, anyone….Genesis has many enemies…

*Rex is nodding and grinning at Sweetwater’s reaction

Rex: Exactly….a lot of enemies….most of them because you’re a f***ing headcase….

*Sweetwater lunges again but Kent shoves him back

Kent: I think you need to go and cool down, Mikey…

*Sweetwater looks incredulous

Kent: We have this under control…..and tonight will go off without a hitch….you stay back here and relax…

Sweetwater: No f***ing way….I’m not letting you go out there with him…

Kent: Mikey!

*Kent glares at Sweetwater now

Kent: It’s all in hand!

*Sweetwater shoots a look at Rex (who winks at him) and then nods at Kent and leaves the room. Kent turns to Rex now

Kent: I want you to know, Rex…..I trust you!

*Rex and Kent stare at one another now

Kent: I know you would never turn your back on Genesis….only one man ever has, and he paid a very dear price…

Rex: And Lex Hart?

Kent: Lex lost his vision…..I have led Genesis into a new era, a dominant era….with you at my side….

Genesis is for life, Rex….

*Kent draws Rex into a hug now and the camera captures the look on both men’s faces. Kent looks stern whilst Rex is staring at a picture on the wall where Jackson Black is standing side by side with the men who destroyed him.

Bout 6
RTR Semi-Final

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Perfect Jack vs Uryu Ishida

*First semi-final time now and the audience are continuing their fine vocals. Uryu Ishida enters to huge cheers. Uryu is sporting a bruise across the front of his face from the attack by Logan Kincade earlier tonight but he shows no signs of being badly injured. He nods in appreciation of the fan support before rolling into the ring to wait for his opponent.

RJ: It was Born in Fire last year when Uryu lost his world championship….winning this tournament would give him the chance to regain it on the same stage…

JT: It would be quite the year long journey….

*Perfect Jack is booed as he enters now. He raises his arms as pyros explode behind him and then he makes his way down to ringside. We are reminded of his controversial victory over Chris Patricks in the first round. Can the Revolution member put himself back on top the mountain by winning this tournament? It’s been a decade or more since PJ held world gold but he’s looking as dangerous and talented as he ever has in the last couple of months.

RJ: And a reminder that this is a re-match of a clash from back at Scars and Stripes….Jack was victorious that night, can he repeat that here?

*The referee talks with both competitors and then he signals for the bell to get us underway. They look to lockup but then Jack drives his boot into Uryu’s stomach and he lashes chops against his chest. Uryu is whipped across the ring but he hurdles Jack on the comeback before running the opposite side….Jack, however, takes Uryu down with an armdrag takeover as he returns. Uryu stumbles back up and PJ stomps on his leg and nails a DDT from the kneeling position which gains him an early two count.

*Jack drags Uryu up and headbutts him back to the ropes before unloading with more knife edge chops, ripping the flesh from Uryu’s chest. Jack places Uryu’s leg over the ropes and then jumps into the air to stomp down on it….”softening Ishida for the figure four”…..he pulls Uryu to the middle of the ring now and lifts him into the air for a kneebreaker but Uryu rolls over his shoulder and down the back for a pinning combo which gains a two. They scramble back to their feet and Uryu throws himself into a roll under Jack’s grasp and he springboards onto the ropes before twisting back for a crossbody takedown which gets him another two. They get up again and Uryu dropkicks Jack’s legs out from under him before he grabs his arm for a mahistrol cradle but the European Champion is able to kick out once more.

*Uryu looks to drag PJ into a standing “Spanish Fly” but Jack elbows his way out. He then grabs Uryu for an overhead belly to belly suplex but Uryu spins clear and then takes Jack off his feet with a spinning heel kick. Uryu heads for the corner now and the fans rise to their feet in expectation. Ishida launches himself into the “Split Second” but Jack drives his knees up in time, sending Uryu rolling away in agony. Jack gets up now and he deadlifts Uryu off the mat into a release German suplex before he heads to the second rope and drops an elbow onto the chest of his opponent which gets him another two. Jack grabs Uryu’s leg and drags it to the ropes before leaping up and driving all his bodyweight down onto the appendage. The referee warns Jack after the third time but he just sneers at the official. PJ pulls Uryu back toward centre now and he looks for the figure four leglock but Uryu is able to reach up and grab the back of his trunks for a rollup which registers a two.

*Jack is first up and he smashes a forearm into the mouth of Uryu and then looks for the “Perfect Slam” but Uryu counters in midair by drilling Jack with an inverted DDT. He rolls out onto the apron now and wills PJ up before springboarding for a forearm. Uryu’s knee seems to give way a little as he springs and that allows Jack to sidestep the attack. Uryu’s leg buckles again on landing and Jack immediately takes advantage by drilling him with the “Perfect Slam”. The audience believe it is all over……………….1……………….2……………..NO URYU KICKS OUT. PJ is staring at the ref and he is not happy at all with what is happening but the official is adamant that Uryu kicked out.

*PJ stomps down on Uryu, targeting the body and bad leg, before attempting to get him in place for the figure four again but Uryu puts his boot in Jack’s back and shoves him through the ropes to the outside. Ishida tries to recover and get back on his feet as Jack climbs up on the outside. The referee’s count is only at three when Uryu runs across and somersaults over the top rope into a senton takedown. The fans love it but the commentators are sure it was wise of Uryu to take such a risk.

JT: These men are in their second match of the night…..there is still another to go for one of them….pacing is essential…

Uryu gets Jack up and he slings him into the ring. He pulls himself onto the apron now and once again he’s got the springboard forearm on his mind but then in midair he shifts his body and nails a thumping front dropkick instead. Jack is sent flying backwards into the ropes and he collapses. Jack then starts to crawl up as Uryu runs to the corner and he bounces off the middle turnbuckle and twists back into a leg lariat takedown which gets him a very, very close two.

*We get a shot of Angus Plague standing in Gorilla under instructions to not let anyone get out to ringside but he’s watching Jack’s plight on the monitor, will he interfere on PJ’s behalf? Uryu grabs at Jack’s arm now and looks to drag him down for the bridging armbar but Jack spins away and then pulls Uryu back in and lifts him into a sickening kneebreaker. This time he does turn him into the figure four and drops right back into the hold. Uryu is in agony as the referee kneels next to him and asks him if he wants to give it up. Uryu repeatedly shakes his head but he is clearly in real pain. The hold is in for nearly a minute but Uryu shows resolve and heart to drag himself across and grab the ropes to break the submission. PJ doesn’t look happy and has to be warned before he releases the submission. He stands and stomps all over Uryu’s leg again before dragging him back to the middle. He looks for the submission again but Uryu boots his legs out from under him and catches him into a dragon sleeper with body scissors. Jack is thrashing from side to side and trying desperately to free himself but Uryu’s grip is tight. The fans think Uryu might be about to win but then PJ rolls his body backward so he’s on top of Uryu. The referee counts and Uryu has to release the hold so that he can kickout.

*They both get back up and Jack looks for a discus lariat but Uryu ducks underneath it and then he swings a buzzsaw kick at the temple of the Euro Champ but that’s ducked too. Jack wraps his arms around the waist of Ishida now and looks for a German suplex but somehow Uryu flips out backward onto his feet. Upon landing his knee goes again and he staggers back to the corner in pain. Jack spins around and drives into Ishida with a huge bodysplash and he lands three more hard chops to the chest (blood running from the wounds). Jack lifts Uryu up onto the top rope now and climbs up after him. Superplex in mind, or maybe even a “Perfect” plex. He tries to hook Uryu in place but Ishida battles and suddenly he’s clambering up on Jack’s shoulders and back before nailing a sensational poisonrana from the top rope. Uryu is clutching his knee and he’s clearly feeling it but Jack is out. Uryu uses the ropes to pull himself up and he’s working through the pain barrier as he gets himself back on the top rope.

RJ: Split Second?

JT: SPLIT SECOND!!!

Uryu crashes down on top of Jack with the 450 Splash………………………….1………………………2……………….Jack puts his foot on the bottom rope but someone pushes it back off……………………..3!

RJ: URYU IS HEADING FOR THE FINAL!

JT: SCOTT HARRIS WITH SOME PAYBACK!

*Scott Harris pulls his hood down and the crowd cheer. The instant replays show him come from under the ring (When did that happen?) and pushes Jack’s foot off the ropes before the referee can notice. Angus Plague comes storming out onto the stage now but it’s too late and Harris is hopping the rail into the crowd.

RJ: I think we might be seeing the start of something here….

JT: Harris and Perfect Jack? Sign me up whenever you want….

Uryu cradles his leg but raises an arm to his fans before rolling from the ring as Angus Plague is climbing inside. Uryu hobbles over to his fans and shows appreciation of their support as the commentators talk about his upturn in fortunes here tonight….

JT: But what will the lasting damage be? Uryu has been through the mill during his two contests….

RJ: What is left for the final? Uryu has tremendous heart, we know that, but he’s going to need every single minute of recovery he can muster….

Perfect Jack is sitting up in the ring and he’s telling the referee about his foot on the ropes but the official says he didn’t see it. PJ looks up at Angus Plague for an explanation but AP explains that Harris must have already been out at ringside because nobody can past him. PJ scans the crowd now and looks disgruntled with what has happened.

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 5:30 pm

*Daniel Reilly is already threatening legal action against 6CWF for incompetency and unfair treatment when Perfect Jack joins him to add to the disgruntlement. Tim Allen asks if perhaps it is “karma” for Revolution’s own actions and now Angus Plague is standing behind the interviewer. Allen looks incredibly intimidated before Dicey Reilly, Scott Harris and Geoff Steel walk into shot (Gazzy has gone home). There are words traded between the two groups before Perfect Jack steals a punch on Scott Harris and we have an all out brawl on our hands.

Dicey pummels Daniel Reilly back toward the wall but Reilly stomps on Dicey’s bad knee. Dicey falls against the wall as Reilly runs in and punts his head against it. Geoff Steel is fighting with Angus Plague as Reilly clocks Harris in the back of the head with the EWF belt. PJ and Reilly drag Harris up now and slam him through a swinging door so that he falls through and down a stairwell. Harris is wincing in pain.

Geoff Steel is putting up the fight of his life but the numbers game of Revolution becomes too much for him. He is driven into the wall now as Angus Plague grabs a huge production case. PJ and Reilly hold Steel in place as Plague storms forward with the case now and crashes it into Steel’s ribs. Steel lets out a roar of agony and collapses to the floor as Revolution admire their demolition. They laugh and walk away. A war is brewing here.

*The scene changes and Uryu is sitting in the trainer’s room being assessed for concussion and the damage to his knee. Uryu shakes his head at any kind of suggestion he won’t be fit to compete in the final.

???: Oh you’ll compete….got to keep up the image of the tragic warrior…

*Chris Patricks grinning face appears in the doorway

CP: But we all know….when the going gets tough…you’ll fail….the mask will slip, the fakeness will out and the world will see what I already know…

Uryu: And what’s that?

CP: You’re a quitter…

*Uryu laughs and shakes his head

Uryu: If there’s one thing I’m not, Chris….for all my failings….I don’t quit…

CP: No? Funny, because Cassius Zhi would disagree on that…

*Uryu looks annoyed at the jibe

CP: But who am I to disagree with the man himself….good luck on that leg…

*Patricks continues to smile as he walks away, leaving Uryu to wince as the medic twists his knee

*Damien Andrews is trying to follow Blue Dragon on his way out of the arena but Dragon spins around and pins his father to the wall.

BD: Don’t start acting concerned….I have no idea what this f***ing act is all about but it doesn’t wash….all the secret meetings, whispering behind my back….you goaded this out of Logan…you wanted this…

DA: I….I didn’t…

BD: No….you did….you just had no f***ing idea, as per usual, what you were doing….I warned you….you said Logan should be unleashed but in that thick skull of yours you don’t know what that entails….

He can’t be controlled….you know that….but you have no idea what you have set free….because you are the biggest absentee, waste of space, father on this planet….you haven’t seen beneath the surface of his evilness…but I have….and I know what’s to come…

DA: If he can’t be controlled…..then how do you stop him?

BD: That’s for me to figure out….now stay the f*** away from me…

*Dragon shoves his father away now and Andrews trips over himself and lands on the floor. BD snarls at him and walks away. A twisted grin slowly forms on Andrews’ face.

Bout 7
RTR Semi-Final

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Acer vs Geoff Steel

*Second semi-final time. Who will face Uryu Ishida in the final? Can Geoff Steel even compete after what Revolution have done to him backstage? Acer walks out to boos from the Dutch crowd and he raises his arms as pyros explode all around him. Acer’s determination and “desperation” to become world champion might just be giving him an edge in this tournament. He looks slightly deranged but there is also a focus to his demeanour as he rolls into the ring to wait for his opponent. There are massive “Steel” chants all around the Ziggo Dome but can the Xtreme Champion make it out here? Geoff Steel doesn’t disappoint his army of fans but his body is strapped up and it’s clear he is far from 100%....

RJ: Those ribs are going to be a huge target for Acer…

JT: They could be broken for all we know….and Acer will have the “Rogue Spear” in mind to take care of that…

RJ: Steel is one of the toughest SOBs to ever lace them up but I’m not sure this is wise of him to be competing….

*Steel walks up the steps and climbs through the ropes, trying to hide the wince as he does. The referee is making sure Acer keeps his distance but there is a fire in his eyes. Steel tells the referee he is good to go and he wants to fight but the official looks concerned. The bell sounds and they circle before Acer shoots for the legs and is able to rip Steel off the floor and slam him down, hard, into the canvass. Steel tries to cover up as Acer chooses to aim his punches, elbows and gouges at the injured ribs until Steel is somehow able to kick him across the canvass. Steel struggles up using the ropes but Acer ploughs into him with a brutal knee to the side, causing an audible gasp from the Xtreme Champ.

*Acer drags Steel away from the ropes now and looks to flip him for the “Barry White” Driver but Steel lands on his feet and headbutts Acer in the face. Acer staggers into the ropes and Steel thunders into him with a clothesline that sends him over the top. Acer, however, lands on his feet and he grabs Steel’s feet before pulling him under the ropes and sends him crashing, ribs first, against the steel steps. Steel is in a lot of pain now as Acer spins him around and drills him with a “Downward Spiral” on the arena floor. Acer is just going to leave Steel there and take the countout victory. He rolls in and demands the referee get started. The audience look concerned and try to will Steel on but he’s in a bad way. Acer is pacing back and forth and then he spits in frustration when Steel throws himself under the ropes on the count of nine. Acer marches over and he stomps down on Steel’s back before aiming a solid boot at his side before the referee drags him away and warns him for his conduct.

*Steel grabs at the ropes to pull himself up as Acer drives punches and forearms into his back. He pulls him to the centre for a back suplex but Steel lands thunderous punches until Acer releases his grip. Acer comes back around and looks for a clothesline but Steel ducks under it and snaps off a neckbreaker but only gets a two count. Steel stumbles back up, ignoring the pain, and he grabs Acer by the head and pulls him into place for the “Bladecutter” piledriver. Acer battles back and swipes Steel’s legs before stomping between them onto his solar plexus. Steel lets out a grunt of pain before Acer slingshots him to the corner. Steel smashes the turnbuckle and remains there as Acer grabs him by the waist and rolls him out into a chaos theory rolling German suplex. He hooks the leg and believes he has the victory but Steel pops his shoulder in time.

RJ: One thing you can guarantee is that Geoff Steel is going to fight….the man is a warrior….

JT: Even if it puts his long term health in danger…..not always the smartest play but Steel fights to the death…

*Acer hammers punches into Steel’s face from the full mount and then he stands and heads for the corner. The audience are on their feet in anticipation for the “Shooting Star Knee Drop” but Steel moves and Acer lands awkwardly. Steel is hurting bad but he sucks it up as he beckons Acer up and scoops him onto his shoulders before running him into a powerslam for a nearfall. Steel pushes himself off the canvass again and he looks to the turnbuckle but decides against it. He staggers into the ropes and ushers Acer to his feet before running at him for a spear but Acer sidesteps and sends Steel into the turnbuckle before rolling him up for a two. They both get up again and Acer reacts quickest with a hard toe kick to the body and a pulling piledriver. He covers but Steel shows his toughness once more to kick out and keep this match going.

RJ: Only one of these men can advance to the finals of this tournament and meet Uryu Ishida….only one can take a step closer to the immortality of Born in Fire…

JT: Unfortunately for Geoff Steel he is fighting against the tide thanks to Revolution….

*Acer looks annoyed now as he stomps and stomps all over the chest and body of Steel until the referee drags him away and gives him a final warning. Acer looks angry as he climbs out on the apron now and waits for Steel to rise. He is primed and powers through into the forward roll spear but Steel shows his incredible strength to catch Acer in his arms and then launches him across the ring with a fall away slam. Steel grabs Acer’s wrist and drags him up now into a ring-shaking sit-out sideslam before making his way to the corner. The audience are on their feet as Steel hauls himself to the top rope and launches himself through the air, landing the brutal headbutt to the heart……………..1………………..2……………….NO!

JT: That looked like a three to me…

RJ: Had to be a millisecond away at best….where is Steel getting this from?

*Steel and the audience cannot believe it but the official is adamant. The Xtreme Champion gets up now and he stalks Acer before scooping him on his shoulders. He prepares for the “Attitude Adjustment” but Acer lands on his feet and stumbles to the corner. Steel chases in for a stinger splash but Acer moves as Steel slams hard against the turnbuckle. Acer runs the adjacent ropes and returns for a spear but Steel drives a huge boot upward in desperation, knocking Acer to the floor.

Acer is flat on his back as Steel grabs his legs now for the “Steelworks”. They thrash and fight for control but then Acer is able to slip one of his feet free and he drives a ferocious kick into Steel’s ribcage. Steel’s pain is clear for all to see as he sags and buckles, clutching at his side….Acer staggers up, licking his lips, and he sprints off the ropes and returns with a thunderous spear which gets him the three count. Acer advances. Acer vs Uryu Ishida is the final of the Road to Royalty 2024!

*Acer rolls from the ring and pats himself on the back whilst dismissing the reaction of the fans. Geoff Steel is being checked on by the referee and spits some blood onto the ring canvass from the internal damage he is suffering.

JT: Revolution will be real smug right now because, thanks to them, Geoff Steel has lost his shot at this tournament…

RJ: All orchestrated by Daniel Reilly….Reilly doesn’t want Steel challenging for his title, that’s the reason….

JT: Maybe so but Steel’s chance has passed him by….Acer, on the other hand, is just one more win away….he might just be about to fight for the world title that has alluded him his entire career….Born in Fire is within reach…

RJ: As it is for Uryu Ishida…..what a match it promises to be….two men who’s careers have been intertwined since 2007….reignited in 2023 when Acer helped Uryu become world champion…..which one of them will end 2024 with a shot at the big time?

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

*We get three announcements from the commentators now. The first is that Tony Monk's in ring debut has been delayed until next week after an altercation with customs officials at the airport. 6CWF offers no further comment on the matter at this time.

Secondly; Killbane/Diego Romero will return to 6CWF next week and meet face to face in the middle of the ring. The commentators are promising a deep insight the past of both men and the inevitable battle ahead. Killbane appears on the screen as a VT plays of his assault on Romero from last week…

Killbane: Run, nino, run and never come back….because only Muerte awaits you here…

*Killbane’s face twists into a devilish grin under his mask before the third and final announcement that Revolution vs Dicey Reilly/Geoff Steel and GazzyD in six man tag team action will happen.next week at Proving Grounds.

*Rex Adamson is doing some promotional work for Born in Fire when Max Adamson walks into shot. Rex rolls his eyes.

Rex: Now’s not the time….I have a match…

Max: I’m fully aware….

*Rex goes to leave but Max stands in his way

Rex: Did I not just say I’ve got a match….

Max: Take a look around, Rex…

*The two men stare around at the posters, memorabilia and footage playing on all of the screens

Max: Even if the disk didn’t do the job…..if what they did to you hasn’t sunk in, for whatever reason…..just look at all this…

Because I remember the little kid that came to all my shows…..all the events…..watched, wide-eyed, with wonder…..Night of Glory main events….Born in Fire main events…..world championships…..my name up in lights…

Rex: This isn’t about you…

Max: OF COURSE IT’S F***ING NOT!

*Rex suddenly stares at his Uncle

Max: This is about you….the kid who gave up his Olympic dream to follow in my footsteps….the kid who told me at 15 that you were going to surpass all of my achievements….

The greatest rookie year in 6CWF history….and what do you have to show for it?

*Max looks down at Rex’s waist

Max: Because I don’t see a goddamn thing…..you don’t want me taking your spotlight, fine….but to willingly hand over your spot to someone who isn’t fit to lace your boots…

That’s unforgivable…

*Rex takes a deep breath now

Max: I didn’t tell you at 15 because you were a cocky little pr1ck and I didn’t want to inflate your head…..didn’t tell you when you signed for 6CWF because perhaps I wanted to keep a lid on it…..didn’t tell you last year at Born in Fire when I should have because I’ll admit I wanted to cling to what was left of my career and not admit I was at the end….

But you….you Rex….you’re better…

Not just better than Kent….or anyone else on this roster….better than me, than I ever was….you have the whole world at your feet…

Don’t trample all over it….pick it, hold it in the palm of your hand…..take control of your own destiny….

See those pictures…

*He points to a banner with JJ Johnson, Hero, Max Adamson, The Saint, Cassius Zhi on it

Max: You belong up there and one day you will be….but only when you learn to take control!

*Max and Rex stare at one another before Max leaves Rex to think on things

ROAD TO ROYALTY FINAL 2023

JT: What the hell is going on here?

RJ: I have no idea...what was that video? That scene between Christy and Uryu….what is…

JT: Gazzy looks white as a sheet…

Gazzy has stumbled to the ropes and he is glaring up at the screen with shock and dismay. He looks to be having a serious crisis within himself at the footage he has just watched. Gazzy is on the middle rope over by the turnbuckle….Scott Harris has stumbled up and he looks almost apologetic as he clatters into Gazzy…

RJ: SHOT IN THE DARK….

JT: I….I don’t even know…

1.
..
..
….2
..
..
…………...3!

ding ding ding

Scott Harris climbs onto the ropes behind Gazzy and he lifts him off the turnbuckle into a huge “Olympic Slam” which gets the three count…

Michael Bird: Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner…..AND THE KING OF 6CWF…..Sccccooooottttt Haaaarrrriiiisssssss!

JT: Huge moment for Scott Harris….a career defining victory that will propel him into the main event, where he deserves to be…

Road to Royalty Final 2024

Acer vs Uryu Ishida

*The Ziggo Arena is rocking as we head back to ringside. A throne has been situated at ringside with the crown and sceptre as we are about to crown the new “King of 6CWF”. Acer’s music hits the airwaves and the Dutch fans are booing into the rafters as he moves from the shadows into the light of the stage. We get a recap on Acer’s victories over Scott Harris and Geoff Steel to get to this point as he clambers into the ring and removes his jacket.

RJ: Ever since Night of Glory; Acer has made it clear that his sole aim is to win the world title that has alluded him his entire career…

JT: Little did we know the lengths to which he would stoop to make that a reality….Acer has cast aside his own brotherhood for this opportunity…

RJ: And now he finds himself one match away from picking whatever title he wants….

*The audience rise to their feet in appreciation as Uryu Ishida enters the battle now. The bruising on Uryu’s face is deeper and more pronounced and there is clearly a hobble in his knee from his match with Perfect Jack. Ishida tags hands with the fans as he makes his way to ringside now, staring up at Acer as he reaches the apron…

JT: Uryu’s path to the final has been a painful one….

RJ: A DQ win over Logan Kincade which led to that awful bruising on his face followed by a gruelling encounter with Perfect Jack, which has left that knee in a mess…

JT: But we know Uryu and we know he never shies away from a challenge….he is far from 100% but this is his chance to turn around the misfortune of the last twelve months…

RJ: Against a man with whom he shares so much history….

*Uryu climbs into the ring and engages in a long staredown with Acer as the audience make a deafening noise. The referee has words with both competitors as we are reminded this match will have a sixty minute time limit. Acer pulls at his hair as the bell sounds and they start to circle one another. Eventually they lock up in the middle of the ring and Acer grabs Uryu in a side headlock. Ishida backs into the ropes and tries to shoot Acer across the ring but he cannot budge him. Acer then swings Uryu over his hip onto the canvass and looks to apply a chokehold on the mat. Uryu squirms and battles before using his legs to apply a scissor choke on Acer. Acer relinquishes his hold as Uryu does the same and they scramble for a vertical base but Acer is the first in with a sharp knee to the midsection. He looks for a suplex but Uryu floats over the back and then he leaps onto Acer’s back and rolls him backward into a pinning combo (ala HBK/Y2J at Mania ’03). Acer just manages to kick out before the referee’s hand touches down for a three count.

*They both get back up and Uryu ducks a backhand before handspringing into the ropes and launching back with a “Cardiac Kick” to the top of Acer’s head. Acer is on unsteady legs as Uryu springs onto the ropes and lands on Acer’s back before flipping into a “Code Red” sunset bomb for another two count. Uryu lashes a calf kick into Acer’s leg as he stands and then another kick into the stomach to double him over. Uryu grabs Acer’s arms now for a hammerlock but Acer dives him backward into the corner and unloads with three heavy shoulder thrusts to the midsection. Acer pulls free and smashes his elbow into Uryu’s jaw, sagging him, and then he lifts him onto the turnbuckle. Acer climbs up and he has a superplex on mind but Uryu battles with punches and then a forearm to the bridge of the nose which sends him crashing to the mat. Uryu steadies himself as Acer clambers up and he dives toward him with a crossbody takedown, Acer rolls through however and gets a near fall.

RJ: One slip….one mistake….that’s all it would take to lose this match….

JT: You can sense the tension…both men so, so close to the peak of the mountain….

*Uryu leaps into a dropkick as he gets up but Acer catches his legs and slams him down. He thinks about the submission but instead he drops back and catapults Uryu toward the corner. Uryu lands on the middle ropes but his knee gives way on him and that allows Acer to get up and club him from behind. Acer climbs up on the middle turnbuckle with Ishida now and he delivers a big time back suplex, shaking the ring on impact. Acer crawls up now and he drags Uryu into the middle of the ring and drills him with a piledriver in the centre of the ring. Acer truly believes he has the match sewn up as he hooks the leg………………….1………………..2……………Uryu kicks out.

RJ: Acer isn’t the most stable minded man in the world right now and I feel he’s living on the edge every time we see him…

JT: He needs to keep some semblance of control if he wants to win this match….

*Acer looks like he wants to confront the referee but thinks better of it. He kicks the ropes and then grabs Uryu by the head and hauls him up for the “Barry White” Driver but Ishida spins whilst on Acer’s shoulders and counters with a poisonrana. Acer bounces across the canvass and is resting against the ropes as Ishida thunders into him with a flying knee that sends him to the outside. Uryu is slumped on the canvass as the referee starts to count Acer out….

RJ: A countout gives Uryu the crowd….he should take it….

JT: Unfortunately I’m not sure it’s in Uryu’s character…

Uryu grips the top rope and waits for Acer to rise before looking for a catapult crossbody to the outside. Acer sidesteps, however, and Uryu’s knee buckles when he lands on the arena floor. Acer quickly runs across and pulls him up for the “downward spiral” on the concrete but Uryu smashes his elbow into the side of Acer’s temple and then stuns everyone by nailing a mesmeric standing “Spanish Fly” on the arena floor….

Crowd: Holy (beep) x10

RJ: Uryu just went balls to the wall with that….

JT: Both men in a heap….can either beat the count?

*The referee has no choice but to start counting as both men struggle to find a vertical base. Uryu uses the steel steps to clamber up and he shakes his knee to try and regain the feeling….BOOM…..He throws himself aside just in time as Acer crashes against the steel steps after an attempted spear. Uryu drags Acer up now and he slings him under the ropes and back into the ring. Ishida climbs the apron and then up the turnbuckle as he prepares himself for the “Split Second”, only to eat canvass on the way down as Acer moves at the very last second. Acer is holding his shoulder after colliding with the steps but he gets himself back up and pulls Uryu into the “downward spiral”…………….1…………………2……………thr-barely a kickout from Uryu. This match will continue. What a tournament it has been!

*Acer grabs Uryu by the hair and he pulls him up before pushing him against the ropes. He looks for a pop-up powerbomb as Ishida comes back but Uryu counters in midair with a dragonrana for a two count. They get up again and Uryu rushes forward but Acer dips his shoulder for a backdrop onto the apron. Uryu lands on his feet and nails a step-up kick to the jaw as Acer turns around. He staggers back as Uryu catapults back in and drills him with an x-factor facebuster for a two. Uryu drags himself over to the corner now and ascends the ropes. Acer pushes the referee into the ropes and causes Uryu to fall into a crotched position, drawing boos from the audience and a warning from the ref. Acer climbs up the ropes now and nails an exceptional t-bone suplex from on high. It takes him a moment but he drags himself across the canvass and drops an arm on Uryu’s chest……………….1……………..2………….foot on the ropes!

RJ: Acer looks wild…

JT: Someone should sign him up for some kind of therapy….he really needs to work on that anger….

*Acer kneels for a moment and then he rolls out on the apron. His eyes are narrowed with malice as he waits for Uryu to crawl up and then slingshots himself through the middle rope for the “Rogue Spear” but is caught in midair by an exceptional hammerlock DDT. The audience are applauding as both men are left flat on the canvass. Uryu drags himself toward the ropes to help himself back to a vertical base. He climbs up the turnbuckle now and looks over his shoulder at Acer before propelling himself from the second rope into a “Phoenix Splash”. He hooks both legs and the crowd think we have a new King………..NOT YET WE DON’T!

RJ: These two men are emptying the tank…..what a goddamn match…

JT: 6CWF wanted to know if the Road to Royalty deserved its own show, I believe tonight is your answer….a resounding yes…

*Uryu falls into the ropes as he stands and sucks in a deep breath. He looks all around the Ziggo Dome as he takes stock of his situation. Acer is trying to crawl onto a knee as Uryu runs the ropes and returns with a brutal low dropkick to the mouth, leaving Acer sprawled on his back. The audience are urging Uryu to climb high now and finish the job. He nods his head in agreement and pulls himself to the top before launching himself into the “Split Second”, only to crash down on Acer’s knees. Acer keeps Uryu in place and locks his legs around the neck for a gogoplata submission. Uryu is kicking and scrambling as he realises the danger he is in but Acer rips and tears at the arm and neck…
JT: Many forget that Acer is an MMA master….many believe this man was “the one that got away” for the UFC, he was the cash cow they never convinced to sign….

RJ: Just as dangerous on the feet as he is on the ground…..Uryu in a whole world of trouble here….

*The hold is in for over a minute and it seems Uryu’s body has gone limp. The referee looks concerned as he tries to communicate with Ishida but isn’t getting any response. Acer continues to tug back on the head and neck as the ref grabs Uryu’s wrist and lifts it…

RJ: We all know the drill here….it drops three times and Acer is the King of 6CWF….

Uryu’s arm drops twice and there is real tension in the air as the official lifts his arm once more. It falls but Uryu, somehow, keeps it up and gets his feet under himself before managing to somehow flip himself over into a bridge for a two count that forces Acer to release the submission. Both men are feeling the pace as they struggle up and Acer hooks Uryu’s waist for a “chaos theory” German suplex but Uryu presses his feet against the turnbuckle and pushes backward so he lands on top of Acer for another close two.

*Both men struggle up again and Acer kicks Uryu in the stomach and tries to flip him for the “Barry White” Driver but Uryu lands out on his feet and swings a Buzzsaw kick at Acer’s head but he ducks and the referee takes the shot to the temple. Acer takes advantage by shoving Uryu into the ropes and drills him with a pop-up powerbomb on the comeback. The crowd watch on as Acer heads for the corner now and he looks down on Uryu before launching himself into the “shooting star knee drop”….

JT: NOBODY HOME…..THIS IS URYU’S CHANCE!

The audience rise up as Uryu moves out of the impact zone and sends Acer crashing to the mat. He staggers up now, hobbling on his bad knee, and he slams the buzzsaw kick into side of Acer’s head to leave him battered on his back. Uryu heads for the corner now as “Refuse/Resist” booms out of the speakers…

RJ: THE HELL IS PATRICKS DOING OUT HERE?!?

Uryu’s head turns on a swivel as Chris Patricks chooses now to head down to ringside. He holds up his hands on mock innocence as Uryu looks at him before making his way around to the 6CWF announce desk…

JT: I have to admit, Chris, that I’m surprised to see you out here….

CP: Well you know I was sat there in the back watching the match and I asked Andrews if I could come out here for a front row seat…he said “No problem, Chris”…..

RJ: But now? Just as Uryu looks on the brink of victory?

CP: Oh he’ll f*** it up, we all know that….career loser…

*Uryu is shaking his head but tries to put Patricks’ presence out of his mind as he climbs to the top rope and propels himself into the “Split Second”, which lands flush….

RJ: But the referee hasn’t recovered from that kick to the skull…

JT: He’s stirring….

CP: HA….TOLD YOU, GUY IS A LOSER!!!

The referee crawls across and covers but after an age Acer is able to throw his shoulder up off the mat. Uryu sits there for a second and then he stands up and walks toward the ropes, looking over at Patricks…

CP: Concentrate on your match you idiot….

Ishida: Why are you out here, Chris?

CP: Just wanted a front row view of your latest f*** up…

Uryu looks annoyed as he turns now and watches Acer trying to crawl up to his feet. He then runs toward the ropes and springs onto the middle before floating back but Acer throws himself aside. Uryu is able to transition into a forward roll on landing and then springboards onto the opposite ropes as Acer springs onto the other side and they twist toward one another in midair….

JT: WHAT A SPEAR….I’VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT!

1.
……2
..
…………….3!

RJ: ACER HAS DONE IT….ACER IS THE KING OF 6CWF!

*The crowd are stunned and we see countless replays of the incredible finish to the match. Back live and Chris Patricks is laughing as he puts down his headset and walks away toward the back, shaking his head as he looks at Uryu on the canvass. Acer is sitting on the mat now and he smirks as he stands up and demands the referee raise his arm in victory. Acer is going to Born in Fire and he will fight for a world title….but what will he choose?

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Post by JJJohnson Wed 09 Oct 2024, 5:53 pm

We are about to get the royal coronation when “BOOM” (ultra pop from the crowd) as JJ Johnson walks out on the stage. JJ is dressed in a sleeveless white hoody and has a face of thunder, are they going to throw down right here. Acer looks angered that JJ is interrupting his moment but JJ leaps up onto the apron and steps through the ropes….Michael Bird offers a mic to JJ but he shakes his head and just looks at Acer for a long moment….

JT: JJ Johnson has no words….

RJ: Are words necessary?

JT: But what is the meaning…

*JJ then raises a hand to point back to the entranceway as “Not giving in” blasts out and another outrageous reception from the Dutch crowd for The Saint. He is wearing the battle wounds of last week but he places his aviators on a young fan at ringside and then climbs up into the ring to join his Coalition brothers. Acer is holding his robe and crown and staring at his two former best friends.

JJ slowly begins to unzip his hooded top….

RJ: IT’S THE TAW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

JJ has the big Gold strapped around his waist and Acer’s eyes bulge at the sight of it. Johnson unstraps the belt from around his waist and he lays it on the canvass between all three men. They stare down at the title and then at one another before JJ draws his arms back (ala Alex Pereira) and shoots an imaginary arrow up at the Born in Fire sign. The sign bursts into flames and pyros as the crowd go wild.

JT: NO WORDS NECESSARY….

RJ: NONE WHATSOEVER…..ACER….JJ JOHNSON…..THE SAINT…….TAW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP…..BORN IN FIRE!

*The scene ends with all three men continuing to stare at one another with the championship in between them as the “Born in Fire” sign burns high in the rafters.

*Max Adamson and Damien Andrews are standing in Gorilla and Max turns on Andrews

Max: What does he mean, you let him out there? What did I say? What did I specifically say?

Andrews: Max….

Max: Don’t give me that s**t, you knew exactly what would happen….you sent him out there so he could f*** up that match….the goddamn final…

*Patricks suddenly reappears from the ring area

Max: Proud of yourself?

CP: I didn’t even do anything….he f***ed it on his own….

*Max shakes his head

Max: Unbelievable….I tell you what….next week….you and Uryu are going to sign a contract for this match at Born in Fire….presided over by me….and you know why? (he glares at Andrews now before looking back at Patricks) because none of you idiots can be trusted to do f*** all…..what a sh*t show!

*Max walks off as Andrews turns to Patricks

Andrews: Drew massive ratings though…

CP: Maybe I should go after him…

Andrews: Absolutely not….let him calm down….you’re a star, Chris, and the viewership tells us that….Max needs to let personal feelings go….because from a business perspective….you’re money…

*Patricks smiles at this but then stares after Max and looks conflicted

*We see Thunder push through a door at the end of a long corridor when the door from the very opposite end opens and Liam Wood walks in. The two men are separated by about thirty feet but the tension between them is obvious.

Wood: You’re probably expecting me to attack you, right?

*Thunder just stares down the corridor

Wood: I heard what you had to say out there, Mike, and you know what….nothing!

There was nothing in that little speech that explains why you would throw away 20 plus years of friendship…..so I know there’s more and I know you, it’ll come out sooner or later….it always does…

Because merely saying we are destined to keeping doing this isn’t enough…..sure we’ve fought before and no doubt we would have again but this is different….because it’s never been personal before….not until now…..and that was your choice….you did that…

And you should know, better than anyone, after the year I’ve had and all the demons I have had to exorcise that when it becomes personal….I rise to the challenge…

*Thunder still says nothing

Wood: Drake Callihan found out….Vincent Costello found out….and Engel Harlequin, well he really found out…..and you saw it all….you saw what I can do….what I’m capable of….

Heck remember Tyler Roth…

And still you chose this….now you’re either braver than I ever knew or you’re stupider than I ever thought….

Either way….I accept your challenge for Born in Fire….and I promise you this….now it’s personal, for me!

*Wood backs through the door and leaves the scene as Thunder is left contemplating the words of his former best friend

*JJ Johnson and The Saint walk into Gorilla following the huge announcement that was just made out at ringside. Jack Reynolds is there to speak with them…

Reynolds: Gents…

JJ: Jack…

Saint: What’s on your mind?

Reynolds: Moments ago…..I mean there was no words but the message was fairly clear…

JJ: It was?

Saint: Thank God for that….I thought maybe we’d overegged the non-verbal stuff….

JJ: Hmm, most people would prefer you promos non-verbal…

*Saint sarcastically laughs and punches JJ in the shoulder

JJ: Hey man, save that s*** for Born in Fire…

Reynolds: So it’s true?

Saint: As true as the fact that Lady Gaga has a d….

*JJ is waving his arms off camera and trying to urge Saint to cut

Saint: Libellous?

JJ: F***ing A it’s libellous…

Saint: But I know….remember that time, I told you about…..at Did…

*JJ is urging his friend into silence again and Saint coughs

Saint: I mean yeah I never went to none of those parties…so Born in Fire….

*JJ is shaking his head

Reynolds: Three friends….now turned foes….

Saint: I mean we’re not foes (he indicates to himself and JJ)….never ever…

*JJ raises his eyebrows

Saint: What?

JJ: What bout that time you nearly broke my neck? Spent like six months whooping my a55 and smearing yourself in my blood….

Saint: Why do you always have to bring up old s**t?

JJ: Hey man I’m just saying….that s**t wasn’t cool….

Saint: But are we friends now?

JJ: I mean s**t yeah we are….

*They touch knuckles and Jack Reynolds looks confused

Saint: So, Jack, what’s the question…

Reynolds: I was just wondering about the decision to bring the TAW Heavyweight Championship into it….a championship that obviously you both have held during your careers….are you worried, though…

*Reynolds pauses and JJ smiles

JJ: Go on, on….say it….

*Saint is smirking now too

Reynolds: That perhaps some might say you’ve positioned yourself into a world title match….that you may be abusing your authority?

*Saint starts laughing at this

Saint: Damn straight…you owe me fifty quid, d1ckhead….I told you, I told you they’d say it…

JJ: Man f*** you…..yeah look Jack I hear it loud and clear….you might be the first but you ain’t gone be the last….

But listen up this is story time with JJ Johnson….so pull up a pew Rupert the Bear cos I’m gone preach this sh1t….

See far as I see it….this all about that belt and when you telling a story, that s**t gotta make sense, right?

*Reynolds nods at this

JJ: Acer wants a world championship belt mo’ than anything….except the last one he challenged fo’ didn’t make him very happy…

*JJ pulls a mock angry face

JJ: And he said he wanted this…

*He holds up the TAW belt

JJ: But he also said that me and him gotta fight….his words, not mine…..

Now mother****er can’t have everything…..unless…

*JJ mockingly makes a lightbulb motion above his head

JJ: Call me Rudyard Kiplin because I’m spinning you a f***ing tale…..this belt (he holds it up) ties us all together….the brotherhood….the Coalition…

JJ Johnson…..special guest appearance from The Saint…

*Saint gives JJ the middle finger at this

JJ: And Acer….Born in Fire….not even Hollywood could write this s**t any better….I’m handing you scripted gold on a mother****ing plate…

Reynolds: And you two?

Saint: What about us?

Reynolds: You’re going to fight?

*JJ and Saint stare at each other for a minute

JJ: Didn’t I just say, this mother***er got six months of beatdowns to pay for….he gone get his too…

Saint: Yeah right….I’ve made you my b1tch before, shouldn’t be too hard to do it again…

JJ: Dream on b1tch….

*JJ winks at Saint and they both laugh as they walk out of shot, leaving Jack Reynolds looking confused.

Reynolds: I’m not sure Acer is going to be so jovial about the whole situation….

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

*We get another shot of Rex Adamson. He is deep in training once again as Jackson Jackson is putting him through his paces. Rex’s phone pings and he looks a message…

Roth: KILL IT BRO!!!

*Rex smiles and chucks the phone aside before training once more. The scene then cuts to Michael Sweetwater and Miss Jessica

Sweetwater: He’s refusing to see what’s right in front of his face, Jess…what am I supposed to do?

*Jessica looks up from her phone and looks at Sweetwater

Jessica: What any good General should….

*Sweetwater nods his head and walks out of the room as Jessica puts herself back on live stream

Jessica: Ladies and gentlemen tonight Genesis will take you to a place you have never been before…to all the naysayers and misinformation spreaders….this one is for you…..nobody can stop this!

*Final scene change as Eddy Kent is doing his last minute prep for the main event. He declares himself satisfied with the attire that has been fitted as the outfitters move from view to reveal Max Adamson. Kent bows his head and laughs

Kent: Come to wish me luck, Max?

*Max just stares at the 6WF Champion

Kent: Lost for words? That’s very unlike the Max Adamson I know so well…

Max: Not lost, Eddy…..in fact I am very much “found”….no I’m just savouring this moment….

Kent: And why is that?

Max: The smugness all over your face, the arrogance, the blind belief that you are something special…

*Kent laughs again and waves his hand in the air as if to say “do go on”….

Max: I really hoped, at one point, it would be me that destroyed that façade….alas, you got the better of me…

*Kent grins at this

Max: But even in defeat, even in retirement, I told myself that the day would come….

Kent: And that day is today is it?

*Kent stands now, dismissing the make-up artist. He takes a step closer to Max

Kent: I know it eats you up inside Max….I took your career….your family….your spot….and it must really chafe that I’m better at everything than you ever were…

Seeing your own flesh and blood aligned with me….assisting me in putting you out of your misery…..I did that…

*Kent is inches away from Max now

Kent: I castrated you like the pathetic mutt that you are….I killed the Adamson bloodline with my bare hands…..and I took your next in line to the throne and I made him mine….

And I did it all off the back of your own gigantic ego….you were so blinded by your own arrogance that you didn’t even see it coming…

*Max smiles at this

Kent: Something funny…

Max: Just somewhat of an irony in your words…

Kent: This is my company, Max….despite your made up title and faux power trip….everyone knows that Genesis runs this show….

And even though it rankled slightly when you returned a week after I put you down, I soon came to realise that you were no longer on my radar….a cuck, doomed to watch from the front row as I take whatever I want, whenever I want….

I’ve enjoyed it….making you watch every step of the way….but I think you’ve past your sell by date now, Max…..the act is becoming irritating….and when something or someone irritates Genesis, they tend to disappear….

Max: Just like Jackson Black…

Kent: Exactly like Jackson Black…

Max: So I guess I better watch my step…

Kent: We’re past that point now, Max…..you’re finished…

*Max smiles again and Kent raises an eyebrow

Max: Sorry, Eddy, just the things you’re saying….they are so ironic…you just don’t see it yet…

*Kent takes a step back now

Kent: No, Max, it’s you who doesn’t see it….you can’t escape Genesis….nothing happens in this company that I don’t know about…..nothing!

*Max stares at the world champion as he slings the world title on his shoulder and walks away

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

Main Event
6CWF Tag Team Championships
Genesis (c) vs The Brothers of Seduction

*Michael Bird is on hand to make the introductions for tonight’s main event. There is a raucous atmosphere from the Dutch crowd and the commentators are in agreement that 6CWF will most certainly return to The Netherlands in the future. Brandon Perez and Percy Percival are then introduced to a huge ovation. Streamers and confetti fall from the rafters and it is a full blown sing along as “Smooth” transitions into “Like a Prayer”. Percy falls from the rafters like an acrobat wilst Brandon Perez is thrusting in the direction of the dancers that have accompanies the “Brothers of Seduction” to ringside.

JT: These guys as tag champions?

RJ: You know as well as I do that you strip away the bravado and hilarity of the act and these two men can go….they have really upped their game since returning to 6CWF….the fans absolutely love them but this is much more than that, Percy Percival and Brandon Perez are live underdogs tonight….

*Percy and Brandon climb into the ring now before there is a boom and almost a sonic wave from the stage. A huge green “G” appears on the stage before poison green pyros fire in all directions. We get a shot of backstage as Rex Adamson and Eddy Kent are walking side by side into Gorilla and then toward the entrance. Kent stands and stares at Rex for a long moment and Rex stares straight back, no eye contact broken. Miss Jessica then walks between them and smiles as she plants a kiss on Eddy Kent’s lips and directs them out onto the stage.

RJ: Genesis are here….

JT: Tonight we have witnessed some very, very intriguing situations involving Rex Adamson and Eddy Kent….

RJ: Yes we have….and the same question remains that we have all been asking for months now….are they really on the same page?

JT: At Beachfront Brawl it seemed we had our answer…..but tonight I am forced to re-evaluate…does Eddy Kent truly trust Rex Adamson?

RJ: I think as long as Rex Adamson has that FFTR briefcase, the answer is no….

JT: But there are so many world titles in play that Rex could rule alongside Eddy Kent….

RJ: I’m not sure Eddy Kent is willing to share the throne, that’s the problem….

*Jessica helps Kent out of his “Homelander” suit and as Rex bobs from one foot to the other at their side. Rex then begins the march to ring and climbs up inside. Brandon Perez is making eyes at Jessica and blowing her kisses. The atmosphere is electric as the referee speaks with both teams and gives his final instructions. Rex Adamson and Percy Percival are going to get us underway and there’s the bell. Rex and Percy look for control and lockup centre ring. Rex is immediately on the offense as he lifts Percy off the mat and twists him into a huge takedown slam. Percy tries to cover up as Rex pummels him with right hands and forearms, driving the point of his elbow through Percival’s guard…

RJ: This is as aggressive as I have seen Rex begin a contest….

JT: He looks fired up…

*Rex rolls over the front now to keep Percy grounded with a chinlock but Percy struggles to his knees. He aims elbows at Rex’s stomach to break his grip and then runs off the ropes but Rex follows up and crushes a sickening knee into his gut. Percival is sagged on the ropes before Rex pulls him into an explosive overhead throw. Perez is looking concerned from the apron as Rex stands over Percival and lands thunderous clubbing shots to the back of the neck and spine until he is sprawled on the canvass in a heap. Eddy Kent isn’t sure whether to smile or not but Miss Jessica is hooting and hollering in joy at what she is witnessing. Rex drags Percy back up now and he lifts him into a vertical suplex and holds him there for twenty seconds before dropping him back into the mat.
RJ: I’m starting to wonder if this is a message for The Brothers of Seduction or Eddy Kent here….

JT: Rex Adamson means business…

*Rex grabs Percy by the head and he launches him into the turnbuckle before aiming vicious hooks at his body and then launches him across the canvass with a Biel throw. Rex drops to a knee now as he waits for Percy to get back up…

RJ: GORE….

Perez drops from the apron and he pulls his tag partner from the ring before Rex can hit the spear. He is tending to Percy now (who isn’t looking too hot) but Rex is already climbing the turnbuckle. He walks along the ropes toward the middle and then launches himself through the air with a double crossbody takedown on Percy and Perez. Rex drags Percy back up and he slings him into the ring before he grabs Perez by the neck and bench presses him over his head before running him forward and launches him over the announce area…

JT: OH MY GOD!

RJ: I think our cameraman just got knocked out….

JT: The hell is wrong with Rex here? He’s tapped into a killer mentality…

Rex shows no trace of emotion as Perez is left slumped on the arena floor with a broken camera and cameraman by his side. Miss Jessica has an evil grin on her face as Rex turns now and he climbs back into the ring. He grabs Percy and pulls him up…
RJ: G@YMAKER!!!

*The audience roar as Percy summons enough strength to push Rex away from him and then detonates the superkick right on his jaw. Rex is flat on his back, looking up at the lights, as Percy collapses back in a heap and is unable to capitalise. The Dutch crowd are chanting for “BOS” now and willing Percival to get up. Eddy Kent remains static on the apron as he watches the action unfolding. Rex is holding his jaw and trying to stand as Percy rolls out on the apron and he winks at his fans in the front row before springboarding in and nails Rex with the “Percy Pop”….1
..
…..2
..
………..REX KICKS OUT!

JT: Kent didn’t even move….he either has incredible faith in Rex Adamson or he wanted him to lose there….

RJ: I don’t want to be the one who answers that…

*Percy looks at the referee and can’t believe he didn’t get the three. He sucks in the energy from the crowd as he gets back up now and wills Rex to stand once more and jumps toward him for a second superkick but Rex catches his foot. Percy’s eyes widen as Rex shakes his head and spins him around before bench pressing him off the mat and drops him into a brutal spear/spinebuster (ala Goldberg). Percy is bits on the canvass as Rex looks over toward Kent and then he charges into the corner and explodes off if it with an imploding splash (ala Jack Swagger) on top of PP. Rex still doesn’t make a cover though as Percy is bunched up in the corner and he storms in with a ferocious cannonball splash. Rex pulls Percy away now and he covers……………………1…………………2……………..Brandon Perez propels himself over the ropes into a splash on top of Rex to break the count just in time.

*Perez is hurt from the earlier landing but he slams his boot into Rex’s stomach and drills him with a Jake Roberts style DDT. Perez drags Percy to the corner now and tags in before shoving Rex with his boot toward his own corner….Eddy Kent’s eyes narrow as Perez indicates he wants the 6WF World Champion…
JT: Kent and Perez have their own issues…

RJ: And Perez wants to throw down….you have to admire the balls…

JT: Don’t tell him that, he’d probably let you…

Kent reaches down and slaps Rex’s back before clambering through the ropes. They circle and then lockup. Perez puts Kent in a headlock and gyrates his hips whilst flicking his tongue out at Jessica. Kent backs into the ropes and shoots Perez across the ring but BP returns with a leaping shoulder tackle to take Kent off his feet. Kent staggers back up and swings a huge right hand but Perez dodges it and bridges into a German suplex for a two!

RJ: I think Eddy Kent would call a mutiny if he was to lose to Brandon Perez here tonight….

JT: Percy already owns a victory over Kent, don’t forget that…

*Perez drags Kent into a powerbomb position and swivels his hips again but then Kent counters with a backdrop. Kent staggers to the ropes, looking furious, and wills Perez up before aiming to take his head off with the “Genesis Kick”. Perez ducks underneath it and he lifts Kent into the electric chair position but Kent drops behind and nails an inverted headlock backbreaker into a swinging neckbreaker. Kent stares at Miss Jessica now and she applauds him as he heads for the corner and climbs up top. Kent is going all in here….”KENT BOMB”….but Perez moves and the world champion lands hard on his back. Perez spins Kent around now and nails him with a devastating “Rude Awakening” neckbreaker for a nearfall.

*Perez claps his hands and the fans follow suit. He sees Kent in a crouched position on the canvass and he runs off the ropes and returns with the flying elbow toward the back of his head…

JT: SWIPE RIGHT!

Kent just scouts the “Hidden Blade” strike and ducks it at the final second. They both scramble back up and Perez runs forward but Kent sidesteps him and sends him into the corner before smashing into him with a brutal clothesline. He lifts Perez up on the ropes now and climbs up with him for a superplex. Perez battles back with punches to the stomach and chops to the chest before nailing a fantastic side-effect neckbreaker from the second rope….Perez drops an arm on Kent’s chest but somehow the leader of Genesis pops his shoulder just in time. Perez can barely believe it as he staggers up again. He grabs Kent by the head…

RJ: MOUTSTACHE RIDE!

JT: MIC CHECK!

Kent drops out the front of the “Liger Bomb” attempt and drills Perez into the mat with the “Mic Check”……………..1………………………..2………………………Percy breaks the count just in time!

RJ: THIS IS A TAG TEAM CLASSIC!

*Miss Jessica urges Rex to get in the ring and make the save but he merely continues to pace the apron as Eddy Kent did earlier in the match. Kent is first to his feet and spits in Percival’s direction….

JT: I’m not sure spitting on Percy is the insult Kent thinks…

Percy pretends to catch it and licks his own hand as Kent looks at him in disgust. Kent turns back to Perez now and he ushers him to his feet before attempting the “Genesis Kick” but Perez ducks and rolls nim up for a two count. They get back up again and Kent scoops Perez on his shoulders for the rolling fireman’s slam but Perez drops behind and he kicks Kent in the gut as he turns…

RJ: MOUSTACHE RIDE!

Kent slams punches down into Perez’ head until they fall back to the corner. Kent stays on the ropes to deliver the ten punch combo…

JT: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] RIDE!

Percy dives across the apron and manages to superkick Kent in the ear which allows Perez to run him out of the corner and drill him with the powerbomb…………………1………………..2……………Michael Sweetwater jumps on the apron to distract the referee!

RJ: The hell is Sweetwater doing out here?

JT: Protecting Genesis….because Rex was just watching on….

*The crowd are booing as Sweetwater and the referee are in a full blown argument. Miss Jessica is looking up at Rex with her arms out wide but then Rex drops from the apron and walks toward the Sweetwater now and pulls him down off the apron…

*Crowd pop

JT: IS THIS?

Sweetwater glares at Rex and then gets right in his face. Sweetwater is running off at the mouth and looks thunderous as Miss Jessica rushes around to break them up. We hear Rex say “We’ve got this under control….we told you to stay back there” as Sweetwater yells back “I knew all along you couldn’t be trusted”…..

In the ring and Brandon Perez is trying to distance himself from the melee on the outside as he heads back toward Eddy Kent. The referee is distracted by the argument outside and that allows Eddy Kent to land a fierce low blow….Perez sags in a heap as Kent stands now, only for Percy to clamber in on the blindside…

RJ: Kent’s gonna turn straight into the superkick….

JT: GORE….GORE…..GORE!

Rex suddenly rolls in and he rips right through Percy with the rib-cracking spear. Eddy Kent is momentarily taken aback but he grins and nods his head. He turns to Miss Jessica and Sweetwater to give them the thumbs up…

RJ: Was this the plan all along?

Jessica suddenly starts clambering onto the apron to distract the official once more as Sweetwater pulls up the ring apron and drags out the sledgehammer. He slides it in to Eddy Kent now….Brandon Perez is trying to get to a knee as Kent picks up the hammer…

JT: Eddy Kent vowed to teach Brandon Perez a lesson for even looking in Miss Jessica’s direction….

RJ: But this is too far, surely?

JT: I don’t think anything is too far for Eddy Kent and Genesis…

6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42) Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Road to Royalty Results - 9th October 2024 (Episode 42)

RJ: OH MY GOD!

JT: HE KNEW……REX KNEW!

Kent is about to drill Perez with the hammer when he spins on his heel and looks to take Rex’s head off with the weapon instead. Rex, however, is standing in wait and he catches the hammer in his hands and then rags the weapon out of Kent’s grasp. Kent’s eyes widen in shock as Rex holds the hammer in his hands and then he snaps it across his knee…

RJ: REX ADAMSON KNEW GENESIS WERE COMING FOR HIM….

Kent throws his hands up in mock innocence and tries to reason with Rex but there’s no turning back. Miss Jessica has turned white on the apron whilst Michael Sweetwater dives in the ring to come to Kent’s aid….

JT: GORE…

RJ: GENESIS KICK!

Rex sidesteps Sweetwater’s attack and he rips off the ropes and almost takes him clean out of his boots with the spear. Eddy Kent quickly mobilises in the corner as Rex stands up and he launches toward him with the “Genesis Kick” but Rex catches his boot. Rex shakes his head and spins Kent around before scooping him up….Rex stares straight at Miss Jessica before he sits down and nails the “Fire/Thunder” Driver…

RJ: THE IMPLOSION HAS HAPPENED…..THE REX ADAMSON/EDDY KENT FAIRYTALE HAS TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE BEFORE OUR VERY EYES….

*The Ziggo Dome is at fever pitch as Rex Adamson looks down on Eddy Kent for a long moment and then clambers from the ring. Jackson Jackson is sitting in the front row and he puts the FFTR case on the barrier now as the noise levels go through the roof….

JT: NOW?!?

RJ: SWIPE RIGHT!!!

Brandon Perez crashes into the back of Eddy Kent’s head as he is trying to rise and nails the “Hidden Blade” elbow….

JT: WE’VE GOT NEW CHAMPIONS!

*It is party time in Amsterdam as The Brothers of Seduction are crowned the brand new tag team champions. Perez drops from the ring and is hugging Percy Percival as they are presented with their titles. They head straight into the crowd to celebrate but all eyes are now in ringside….Miss Jessica is beside herself in disbelief (although she’s live streaming the whole thing) as Rex grabs the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship belt and rolls into the ring….

RJ: Are we about to crown a new world champion?

JT: This road began over a year ago….

Eddy Kent is trying to sit up and he looks terrified as he sees Rex Adamson standing over him with the FFTR case and the 6WF belt. The two men stare at each other for an age before Rex tosses the belt into Kent’s lap. Kent looks surprised until Rex shakes his head and he raises the FFTR case with one hand whilst pointing up at the “Born in Fire” sign with the other….

RJ: That needs no explanation…..Rex Adamson is making it clear as day…

JT: Rex Adamson…..Eddy Kent….6WF World Heavyweight Championship…..BORN IN FIRE!!!!

RJ: Masters versus Apprentice….”Father” versus “Son”…..Genesis vs Evolution….this is going to be one for the ages….

*The show ends with Eddy Kent continuing to look up at Rex Adamson. Kent is cradling his title belt whilst Miss Jessica looks on in horror.
