*The show begins with a huge recap of the shocking developments to end last week’s show with the implosion of Genesis. We go live inside the Tauron Arena and the crowd are hyped for tonight’s action. The commentators are running down the card and talking through everything that happened last week when “Tobey” roars out of the speakers and the crowd go wild for the arrival of Rex Adamson. Rex walks out on the stage carrying his FFTR case, dressed in a black tracksuit, and Jackson Jackson stands by his side.

RJ: Looks like the green of Genesis has disappeared from Rex Adamson’s wardrobe…

JT: Are you surprised?

The crowd inside the Tauron Arena are buzzing with excitement, and they erupt when "Tobey" by Eminem hits, Rex Adamson walks out to the stage, he has Jackson Jackson alongside him, Rex is wearing a red and black "Champ Slayer" t-shirt, and seems to have removed all traces of Genesis from his wardrobe.

Jackson and Rex make their way to the ring, Rex smirking at the entire arena chanting his name. The pair get into the ring and Jackson grabs a microphone...

Jackson: Ladies and Gentlemen... my name... is Jackson Jackson. And I stand before you fine people, to officially state, that my good friend Rex Adamson here... Is no longer a member of Genesis...

The crowd pops hugely as Rex seems a little taken aback

Jackson: ...And before I get the blame, I have had zero input into Rex's decision making. He'll explain everything in a minute. I just wanted to be out here, with my little bro, and tell him, in front of the entire 6CWF Universe... I'm proud of you mate.

Rex has a big smile on his face as he and Jackson shake a handshake and a hug

Jackson: However.

The crowd "oooh"s as Rex has a bemused look on his face

Jackson: The next few weeks are going to be hellish. You knew that a Rex and Genesis split would not be amicable, even if they caused all this. The fact you've cashed in your Fight for the Right briefcase for a match against Eddy Kent, at Born in Fire... That means you've declared war on Genesis. Including all their hangers on. It no longer matters what you and Genesis did together, because you're now trying to do the one thing you helped stop numerous people do in 2024. And that's taking the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship away from Eddy Kent.

Rex looks deep in thought, before he motions for Jackson to hand him the microphone, which he obliges. Rex smiles at Jackson

Rex: I can't pretend I haven't been guided by Eddy for the last year. He's done a lot for me. The problems that lie within Genesis are not of Eddy Kent's doing. Even last month, when it was just us two, we walked into the Elimination Chamber and became World Tag Team Champions together. Then Sweetwater came back and got in Eddy's head. If Eddy Kent really feels like he is the Daddy and I was the Chosen Son, then he's up there with Kate and Gerry in terms of parenting because he allowed Michael Sweetwater to convince him I was the problem. And Eddy, believe me when I say this...

Rex stares down the camera lens

Rex: ...You made the wrong choice. You chose preserving your title reign, just in case I cashed in on you, over making Genesis untouchable. You chose the ramblings of a CTE ridden, has-been, over taking Genesis into the future. Over making history. We were one successful cash-in away from being World Champs and World Tag Champs simultaneously. But you couldn't look further than your own title reign. But I'm a fair man Eddy. You know that. I don't just want to snatch the title away from you...

Rex grins before continuing

Rex: ...I still want to prove myself. I have faced and defeated multiple World Champions since debuting in 6CWF. I'm the Champ Slayer for a reason! But there's one Champion I have yet to defeat. And to do that with the briefcase... It's not the same. I am going to defeat you, on the grandest stage. Main eventing Born In Fire, and taking your Championship away. You will have no excuses. You will be 100% healthy. With Genesis in your corner no doubt. And you will lose to Rex Adamson. And only then, will you truly realise, that you backed the wrong horse.

"Tobey" by Eminem plays again and Rex and Jackson talk to each other off mic

RJ: One thing I can guarantee is that Eddy Kent vs Rex Adamson will be a main event for the ages at Born in Fire….

JT: I wonder if Eddy Kent or Genesis will respond here this evening

*Tony Monk is shown arriving in the Tauron Arena and he raises a hand to the cheering fans who are gathered out. We hear a small section of “How you doin” chants and then Jack Reynolds approaches to get a word with one of 6CWF’s newest talents.

JR: Antonio Moncinelli…

Monk: Just Don Monk, kid….how you doin’?

*Reynolds asks Monk about how he’s feeling ahead of his 6CWF debut and touches on the issues with Netherlands Customs last week but we see a vein pulsing in Monk’s temple and Reynolds decides to talk about the influx of new stars and if Monk believes he can be a leading light in a new era.

Monk: Not for nothin’….Tony Monk already said to the people that I’m bringing sexy back, these other mothers don’t know how to act…line up, one by one, and they getting Monked….starting with this chumpstain right here tonight…The Villain…

What sort of stupid name is that? Like didn’t you momma christen you son? Well if not he’s getting christened tonight by Bob Monkhouse…..HEY, MAX ADAMSON….how you doin’?

*We see Max Adamson and Damien Andrews in conversation just inside the building as Tony Monk approaches

Monk: Big fan….

*Max looks at Andrews with raised eyebrows as though saying “Who is this?”

*Monk makes a demand of management that his match tonight be “hardcore” and that he won’t wrestle otherwise

Monk: Capiche?

*Andrews smiles

Andrews: Actually, Tony, that isn’t an issue at all….in fact, your opponent has voiced something similar….consider it done…

*Monk smiles at this and shakes Andrews’ hand

Monk: Mr Andrews coming through with the good news….Poland is about to get Monked on!

*Adamson shakes his head as Monk walks off

Andrews: One of your signings?

Max: He came highly recommended…

Andrews: Quite…so much so that you didn't even recognise him when he approached....so shall we talk business?

Max: Shoot….

Andrews: Rex…

*Max shrugs his shoulders

Andrews: So you had no idea?

Max: None at all…

*Andrews smiles at this, clearly not believing

Andrews: One of the highest viewership moments of our tenure so I’m not complaining…..and I guess now we have our Born in Fire main event…

Max: Along with the battle of your boys…

*Andrews’ eyes flash at this

Max: Co-features, no doubt….I reckon we have two of the biggest main events in history…

Andrews: Indeed….and everything is in place for the contract signing later?

Max: It is…

Andrews: You sure you don’t want me to handle that?

Max: It’s taken care of…

*Andrews merely shrugs at this

Andrews: And what are we doing about all the new signings? Ideas?

Max: I have one….it’s kind of a tradition…

Andrews: I do love tradition…

Max: Almost as much as you love being a father…

*Max winks at Andrews as he walks away. Andrews is left with a dark expression on his face

Bout 1
Tony Monk vs The Villain

*The Tony Monk fanbase is growing in stature and noise as we head out to ringside for our opening contest. Monk strides out on stage now carrying a baking tray as a “How you doin’” chant rings all around from the Polish supporters.

RJ: Finally the in-ring debut of Antonio Moncinello…

JT: Don Monk is live in Poland…

RJ: At least these lot let him through customs…

JT: And what about Max & Andrews letting Monk have his own way and sanctioning a “No DQ” match?

RJ: Monk gave them little choice and apparently his opponent has no issue with it…

*Monk rolls in the ring now as the “Jaws” theme leads into “Hail to the king”. A single spotlight falls on the stage as The Villain appears for the first time in a 6CWF arena. The crowd aren’t sure what to expect as the sadistic looking star makes his way to the ring and just pauses in front of the apron. Tony Monk is beckoning him in to fight.
JT: We have to admit, folks, we don’t know any awful lot about The Villain…

RJ: One of several new signings here in 6CWF….Born in Fire season so a great time to showcase yourself to the masses..

JT: The fact that he has, willingly, accepted a “No DQ” match in his debut might tell us something about what to expect…

*The Villain clambers onto the apron as Tony Monk just launches the baking tray through the air and it clatters his opponent’s temple, knocking him down to the arena floor once more. “How you doin’” shouts Monk as he clambers out onto the ring apron now and leaps off with a huge axe handle takedown. Monk drags Villain up now and smashes him through the steel steps as the audience applaud. Monk stands in front of his die-hard supporters as they chant his name.

*Monk welcomes Villain up and scoop slams him onto the hard floor again before dropping an elbow onto his chest. He pulls up the ring apron and drags out a trash can before smashing it over his foe’s head as he gets to a knee. Monk then sets the can on the floor and he pulls Villain up for the “Incredible Monk” (World’s Strongest Slam) but Villain elbows his way free of Monk’s clutches and then succeeds in nailing a skull crushing finale which smashes Monk’s head down into the trash can on the floor.

RJ: These are two huge men…both standing at 6’6 and nearly 300lb….every move they hit is devastating in effect…

*Villain is able to roll Monk back into the ring now before he pulls a steel chair from under the apron and slides it under the ropes. He then defies gravity by scaling the ropes for an aerial assault but Tony Monk clatters into the ropes and causes him to fall into a crotched position on the turnbuckle. Monk sets the chair up now and clambers up the corner before delivering a massive superplex that crushes the chair underneath the two behemoths as they land. The audience are on their feet and very much loving what they are witnessing here. Monk rolls from the ring now and he grabs another trash can before heading back inside. Villain has crawled into the corner for some respite but Monk places the can next to him and then circles the ring for a huge cannonball splash which crushes Villain and the trash can….Monk covers and gets a two count.

JT: That alone shows how tough The Villain must be…because that was like being hit by a bus….

*Monk nails three consecutive elbow drops to his downed foe and then he runs the ropes for a “Warrior” splash but Villain moves at the last second and rolls from the ring. He returns with a kendo stick and lashes it into Monk’s stomach as he stands before breaking the weapon across his spine. Monk drops to a knee as Villain runs off the ropes and returns with a brutal big boot to the mouth. Monk is flat on the deck as Villain heads for the corner now and he is ready to belie his size with a shooting star press but Monk rolls away just in time. Villain staggers up in the corner and Monk crushes him with a running splash, dropping him into a seated position, and then runs back in with a devastating hip attack (ala Umaga).

*Monk drags Villain away from the ropes now and he then clambers onto the middle rope and looks for a huge back splash (ala Bully Ray) but Villain moves at the last second. He drags Monk back up now and he nails him with a “Lost Cause” (Cross Rhodes) for a two count. Villain sits there for a second with a dark smile on his face before he rolls from the ring and pulls out a table from under the apron. Villain sets the table up against the turnbuckle now and he beckons Tony Monk to his feet and pulls him in place for the “Sweet Nightmares” (Sister Abigail) against the table but Monk smashes his elbow repeatedly against the temple of his opponent until he is rocked. Villain staggers around and then Monk scoops him into a fireman’s carry and launches him forwards (Wade Barrett’s Wastelands) through the table. The audience are on their feet as Monk pulls him away and covers but he manages to pop his shoulder just in time.

*The crowd believe Tony Monk is closing in now and he’s clearly feeling confident himself. Villain tries to get to a knee as Monk bounces back off the ropes and nails a high speed hip attack to the head which floors him once more. Monk then heads outside and he stuns the audience by sliding in a sheet of glass and two steel chairs.

JT: What on earth?

RJ: Not what I was expecting from our opening bout…

JT: The man describes himself as “Sabu on crack” so I guess we should have had some expectation…

Monk sets the two chairs up and then he places the sheet of glass between them, balancing on the seats, to create a makeshift table. He then hauls Villain up and throws him on top of the glass before nailing thunderous right hands. The crowd watch on in anticipation as Monk heads to the ropes and he has the “Monk Bomb” (Vader Bomb) on the mind but Villain moves and sends the Italian American crashing through the sheet of glass. The crowd watch on in shock as Monk’s vest is shredded and blood pours from his arms and chest. Villain stumbles up and takes advantage now with the “Sweet Nightmares” (Sister Abigail) to secure his debut win.

JT: A brutal debut for both of these men and perhaps a sign of what is to come from their 6CWF careers…

RJ: Tony Monk certainly looked to provide a fan friendly style but it has backfired badly in the end….The Villain picks up an opening night W…

JT: That was enjoyable, I have to admit….far more violent than first advertised but the crowd definitely enjoyed it and I did too…

RJ: Hopefully the start of two successful careers…

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 11:41

*"The Woods" by The White Buffalo begins to play as we open on a scene, a quiet scene where wood burns in a steel bin, two chairs are set up around it and a projector plays wrestling footage.

*Into the shot walks Marty Helms, the old cowboy with his hat resting on his head. He slumps down into a chair and looks at the screen.

*The footage is from 6CWF. We see moments of regret for Helms, his eyes bloodshot red as we cut back to him watching. He watches on with a pained expression, a man looking lost, revisiting memories he had tried to leave behind. He sighs loudly and we go back to the screen as we watch him pinned and eliminated in the multiman Cell match that saw him lose his title. As he eventually is shown down the ramp, fans and opponents wild with glee at his loss, we come back to the bedraggled man sat on a cheap plastic chair out in a field. He swigs from the bottle in his hand before throwing it into the fire and watching the flames jump and dance.

"Gone so long I stepped out of the woods"

MH: That man… *he points at the screen*...did this to me.

*As if by magic, now we see Helms standing across from Dicey in a 6CWF ring on screen

MH: No. Not him. He was the symptom.

*He watches it click over, his back against the mat, staring up at the stars

MH: It’s a disease. All that rage. I couldn’t see him, I couldn’t see any of them. They were bodies, figures to beat, blood to force, pain to cause. I wanted to kill him. I would have killed him, if I could.

For nothing. It wasn’t even a title. I came into wrestling…Frak

*He stops and shakes his head. His stare is wide and he’s looking so far into the distance, but just as much at nothing at all

MH: Have I ever told you why I got into this business? Huh? Or did I just talk about the fight?

*He waits a beat and then starts

"I long for the woods, from this place I’ll disappear"

*He sighs again and grabs another drink.

MH: By the time I reached TV, I’d had to scrap for every second of time I’d got in any ring, so far into it that I had forgotten any hint of glory. I didn’t get a match if I wasn’t trying to rip someone apart, and eventually you force that kind of lifestyle so much that you become it.

*He looks at his fists

MH: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come to the back and been unable to straighten my damn fingers cos my knuckles are so beaten. Open wounds, my blood, their blood, bones broken, who cares hey, I won. Or I didn’t. Did it matter? I learned that I got booked if I made him bleed.

Cos I walk it off. That I am a twonk of the highest order needs a night off after me, so I’m taking his spot. I did that in Canada, the US, Japan, Germany, the UK. I would break your back to take your spot.

And when I made it to CW, nothing was changing. I haven’t made more than one damn friend in my career, and only cos he had the same secret. The biggest bumhole in the company goes nowhere cos everyone else wants to be the one to take us down. If you keep getting back up, the money comes rolling in.

*We see now the night he won his world title

MH: Barely a smile. Did I enjoy it? Maybe. But the message I sent to the next man was more important. You ever lived your life entirely to threaten others? It ain’t a warm one. There’s no photos on my walls. Titles, sure. But I don’t even remember them fondly. I don’t watch this and feel it in my gut, I feel the throbbing in my head.

*He stops and puts his head in his hands, ashamed. The scene begins to fade.

"I long for the woods, from this place I’ll disappear. Disappear. Disappear, oh lord. Disappear"

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 11:54

*Backstage and Chris Patricks is standing with Tim Allen. Allen asks about Patricks’ match with Logan Kincade tonight but Patricks takes exception to being considered an “underdog” and that he has just as many world title reigns as Kincade…

CP: Yet another facet of the disrespect being aimed at me…it’s becoming fairly tiresome, to be honest….since I came back I’ve beat the so-called biggest names, scored the winning pinfall in WarGames against Genesis…..where is my respect?

*Allen tries to move on now and talk about Uryu Ishida and the contract signing tonight as well as the match at Born in Fire and what happened last week at the RTR.

CP: I was out there as a spectator, which is my right, and it’s not my fault he choked….I’m not the fall guy for his inadequacies….it’s about time that little scrote was held up in the spotlight, always hiding behind someone else or trying to excuse his weird behaviour…

As for tonight, I’ll sign the contract and I’ll put him in his place at Born in Fire…..and when I do, it’s onwards and upwards for me…taking myself back to where I belong….Ishida needs to learn that he doesn’t belong on my level, never has and never will…he should be grateful I’m even entertaining this match

Allen: And Max?

*Patricks’ brow furrows

CP: What about him?

TA: The two of you are best of friends…but it is clear that there has been a growing tension in recent times….he will preside over tonight’s press conference….how do you think he’s feeling about this whole scenario?

CP: Ask him….

TA: And you don’t have any thoughts?

CP: Oh I’ve got thoughts….Max is fully aware…whether it’s the suit he wears now, I don’t know, but he isn’t as straight talking as he once was….Uryu is a parasite and he’s been leeching off of his tiny link with Max from nearly two decades ago…I’m ready to shut that down…

TA: And what about the idea that perhaps Max was aware of Rex’s intention to turn on Genesis and Eddy Kent….how does that make you feel knowing you returned to help Max in the war against Genesis and his nephew…

*Patricks just stares at Allen and the interviewer looks uncomfortable before CP walks away

*The scene changes and we see Damien Andrews sitting in the locker-room with Logan Kincade

DA: You understand, Logan….there’s no coming back from this…

Logan: Who said I wanted to?

DA: This is your brother…..flesh and blood…

Logan: There will be blood, of that you can be assured…

DA: Hardcore Hell…

Logan: He said it himself, it’s the only way….

DA: There are other ways…the championship…

*Logan fixes his father with a deadly glare

Logan: The championship? You think this is all I covet? He betrayed me when he showed human tendencies…..that is when I realised he isn’t like me….and neither are you…

DA: Logan…

Logan: You don’t understand and I’m not sure you ever will…violence is my nature, I am chaos and it consumes me….I don’t fight for money and prizes, I fight to maim and destroy….I enjoy it….

My brother cannot accept this and he stands in my way….I can’t allow that to continue….this company must be taught a very vital lesson…

This isn’t make believe, this isn’t fantasy….when I say I am going to hurt you it’s because I’m going to hurt you…..and tonight I’m going to hurt Chris Patricks….at Born in Fire I am going to destroy my brother…

DA: Is this about the moniker?

*Logan sneers at this and then pauses before staring into his father’s eyes

Logan: We all know who the true Dragon really is…

*Rex Adamson is pacing back and forth in his locker-room when a knock comes at the door and Max Adamson enters. The uncle and nephew stare at one another for a long moment

Max: So….

Rex: So….

*Max looks at the FFTR case on the table

Max: I’m just here to collect that and the contract inside now that you’ve made your decision…

*Rex nods and he picks up the case. He holds it for a second and then hands it over. Max reaches for it and for a moment both are holding the case

Max: How does it feel?

Rex: What?

Max: Born in Fire….the main event….eighteen months in the business and you are headlining the biggest 6WF show…..I think I was wrestling Jeff Brazier at this point…

*Rex smirks at this

Rex: I feel good….strong, confident…

*Max looks at his nephew and smiles

Max: Good….and so you should….the “Champ Slayer”…..and this is the final hurdle…the Final Boss….you’re so close….

*Rex nods at this as Max takes ownership of the case now

Max: Word of advice from an old, retired, wrestler…..listen, don’t listen….that’s your choice…

*Rex says nothing, just stares

Max: Eddy Kent will come for you with the wrath of hell….he’s a wounded animal backed into a corner and he knows you are this close (holds finger and thumb together) from taking everything he holds dear…

You should know, better than most, that when you strip aside the Genesis schtick he is one of the absolute best….my retirement tells us that…

But he fears you…..because deep down inside he knows that each generation passes on to another…..mine to his….his to yours….it is inevitable….it is as night passes to day….

Rex: So you’re telling me to be careful?

*Max laughs and shakes his head

Max: No….I’m telling you to rip him apart at Born in Fire……

I told you once before that you would be the future of this company…..well the future is about to become the present….and it all belongs to you!

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 11:55

Bout 2
Chris Patricks vs Logan Kincade

*Back out in front of the Polish crowd and we are hearing a lot of noise from the small section of Logan Kincade fans (Poland love the violence Laugh ) . Chris Patricks then appears on the stage to a mixed reception from the audience. He shakes his head at the boos and points his hands to the skies as pyros explode behind him.

RJ: Big night ahead for Chris Patricks as he signs his contract to face Uryu Ishida at Born in Fire later on…

JT: If I was Patricks I’d be looking over my shoulder at every turn because he cost Uryu the chance to become “King” last week at the RTR….

RJ: He didn’t physically make contact, though…

JT: You know, as well as I do, that his presence at ringside was more than enough to provide the distraction….

RJ: Be that as it may, Patricks will need eyes everywhere because as well as Uryu gunning for him he also happens to be facing one of the most psychotic individuals in professional wrestling right now…

*Patricks is up in the ring as flames engulf the stage now. Logan Kincade’s shadow passes over the entranceway before he appears in front of the cameras, zero emotion registering on his face as he makes his way down to the ring. Chris Patricks, despite his usual confidence, is giving Logan a wide berth as he clambers up into the ring.

RJ: We know Logan can’t put a hand on his brother, Blue Dragon, until Born in Fire but there’s a lot of pent up rage inside of that man right now….

JT: And Chris Patricks is in the firing line….Kincade wants to hurt someone tonight, I wouldn’t want to be the opposite corner…

*The bell sounds as both men circle one another and then they tie up in the middle of the ring, Logan quickly launches CP back against the ropes and looks to take him out with a lariat as he comes back but Patricks ducks the impact and lands a flush forearm to the mouth. He grabs Logan by the wrist now and looks for an Irish whip but Kincade reverses and sends him off the ropes. Patricks hurdles a backdrop attempt on the comeback and springboards onto the ropes but twists back into a huge crunching uppercut to the chin as he is in the air. Logan hauls him up again now and double underhooks him into a backbreaker across his knee. CP rolls over into a seated position as Logan lashes a punt at his spine and then another brutal punt to the chest that leaves Patricks flat on his back.

RJ: Notice how Logan is no longer prioritising pinfalls…sticking to his claim that he is here to cause pain and suffering…

JT: I think Logan is only going to look for pins when he is satisfied he has done damage….this is no longer just about racking up the Ws…

*Kincade pulls Patricks up by the head and chucks him against the turnbuckle before stomping at his midsection. He continues until the referee backs him up with threats of a DQ. Kincade doesn’t seem to care as he slams a back elbow into Patricks’ jaw now and then he begins to beat his face against the top turnbuckle until the referee steps in again. CP has dropped to a seated position now and looks groggy as the official continues his admonishment. Kincade grabs Patricks by the feet now and pulls him away from the ropes (leaving him flat on his back) before grabbing the ropes himself and he springboards onto the second before twisting back with a heavy elbow drop to the chest, causing CP to cough and splutter all over the canvass.

*Logan stands over Patricks now and then he stomps down on the small of his back before grabbing the back of his head as it, involuntarily, shoots up. Logan stretches CP’s neck backward before thrusting a brutal punch down at his exposed throat. Patricks rolls away now, in agony, and ends up heading under the bottom rope to the outside. The referee wants to start a count but Kincade is uninterested. Logan is out on the apron now and he leaps off toward Patricks, only for CP to move at the final second and sends Logan crashing against the ringside barrier (ribs first). Kincade staggers away as Patricks dropkicks him in the back and sends him flying into the steel steps. Logan is down on the arena floor now as Patricks springs onto the ringside barrier and twists back with a legdrop. Patricks shakes his head and decides to try for the count-out.

JT: Patricks isn’t going to scoff at any kind of win over Logan Kincade…

RJ: Would stand him in great stead…not only for Born in Fire but for the coming months…

JT: With the potential of four world titles in the mix there has never been a better chance to stake a claim…

*The referee’s count is at seven as Logan rolls under the bottom rope. Patricks immediately bounces off the opposite ropes and looks to catch Kincade unawares with “rolling thunder” but lands across the upturned knees. Kincade gets up now and he drives into Patricks at speed and slams him back into the corner before unloading with several shuddering thrusts to the gut. Patricks is badly winded as Logan sits him up on the ropes now and opts to climb up with him. Kincade has a superplex on the brain but Patricks displays his fight and clubs away at the body before raking at the eyes. He grabs Logan’s head and smashes it down into the turnbuckle pad before leaping over him and drags him into a ring-shaking sunset flip powerbomb on the canvass. The audience applaud Patricks’ ingenuity and he follows it up by running the ropes and connecting with “rolling thunder”………………..1…………………2………….Logan pops the shoulder!

RJ: Chris Patricks reminding the world that he is a former two time world champion…

JT: He can hang tough with the best and the baddest….

RJ: But Logan Kincade’s pain threshold is something to behold…

*Patricks drags Logan into place and looks for a vertical suplex but Logan kicks his legs and battles against it before he counters into a suplex of his own, slamming Patricks straight down on his face and chest. Patricks is doubled up on all fours as Logan runs the ropes and returns with a brutal punt to the ribcage. CP rolls over on his back and Logan holds him there with his boot on the throat before he leaps high into the air and drives down with both knees to the head and chest….

RJ: Logan Kincade’s whole moveset and dynamic is brutality…

JT: The kind of thing you’d expect to see on the streets…

The referee looks at Logan as though expecting a cover but one is not forthcoming. Kincade drops down on his knees and he chokes Patricks to the count of four before lifting his head off the mat and repeatedly smashing the back of his skull into the canvass. Logan stands now as the referee moves in to check on Patricks and see if he is still good to go.

RJ: This is what we talked about with Logan….he has so much pent up rage that he wants to unleash…

JT: And Chris Patricks has to have one eye on that Uryu Ishida match at Born in Fire….he doesn’t want to be underprepared for that…

*Patricks is grabbing at the turnbuckle to help himself up when Logan runs in and crushes into him with a splash to the spine. He then wraps his hand around the back of CP’s neck and pulls him out toward centre ring for “Rough Justice” but Patricks wraps his legs around Logan’s waist whilst in midair and then rolls forward into a pinning combo for a two. They both get to their feet and Logan runs the ropes before a leaping clothesline but Patricks catches him in midair with a brutal dropkick that catches Kincade in the midriff and spins him inside out. Patricks quickly grabs Logan and then runs up the ropes for a rope-assisted spinning DDT which gets him another two count.
RJ: This is a fantastic performance from Chris Patricks…

JT: It’s not the first we’ve seen from him since returning to 6CWF….the problem for Patricks is that he doesn’t believe he gets any respect for what he is producing…

Patricks beckons Logan up and then he springs onto the ropes and twists back with a side kick to the jaw that takes Kincade off his feet again. CP makes a dart for the corner now and he quickly leaps up onto the top rope before going all in for the “Puzzle Solver” frogsplash but Logan moves at the last second to send him into the mat at serious impact. Kincade gets back on his feet and he suplexes Patricks into the air and then releases him into a neckbreaker across his knee. Patricks is in a bad way as he rolls into a seated position and Logan runs the ropes before returning with a deadly boot to the face. He looks down at Patricks and contemplates a cover but then shakes his head and climbs from the ring.

*Patricks is holding his face and wincing at the pain in his jaw whilst Logan rips up the ring apron to drag out a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire (cue the cheers from his loyal supporters). The referee immediately looks alarmed…

RJ: I told you….Logan has come to cause destruction and mayhem….this is about sending a message to Blue Dragon…

The referee tries to get in Logan’s way but is threatened by the weapon and he scarpers. Logan waits for Patricks to stand now and swings the deadly weapon at him but CP ducks underneath it and then he takes Logan off his feet with a spinning heel kick. Patricks looks down at the barbed wire chair now and he shakes his head…

CP: F*** that…

JT: Chris Patricks does not seem happy about what Logan had planned for him…

Patricks looks around at the crowd and then he places the chair on Logan’s head and looks to springboard off the ropes into a legdrop but Logan moves at the last second and CP lands on the chair, the barbs sticking into his backside as he lands. Patricks is holding his back as he gets up and Kincade grabs the weapon again and swings it…

RJ: I haven’t been the biggest fan of Chris Patricks’ attitude and decision making of late but I cannot argue at this one bit…

Patricks sees the danger coming and he grabs the ropes and pulls himself to the outside. There is nothing the referee can say to convince Patricks to come back as he continues to shake his head and walk toward the back. The official is forced to count CP out (even though he probably agrees with his decision) as Logan stays standing in the middle of the ring.

JT: Logan Kincade’s bloodlust has not been satisfied here…

RJ: And that, once again, does not bode well for Blue Dragon…

JT: Chris Patricks, like it or not, has preserved himself here tonight and I don’t blame him one bit….

RJ: Especially with the contract signing coming up later and his huge match with Uryu at Born in Fire….

JT: But how are 6CWF going to deal with Logan Kincade? Because this guy has gone off the deep end…

The referee has made the decision to leave the ring now as Logan is left staring up at the retreating Patricks. The cameras pan in to show some blood on the bottom of CP’s back from where he landed on the barbed wire. Patricks turns back and looks at Logan before shaking his head once more and disappears backstage.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 12:00

*We return to a man now standing next to the fire, looking down into it, pensive. For the Damaged Coda by Blonde Redhead is playing.

We see him now, a long black coat on, jeans, thick boots, and still that distinctive black stetson on his head.

MH: So, why come back? I’ve burnt out two times now, two times in a year. Coming in, ghostlike, a shadow of myself. I just couldn’t find it, ya know? I needed something new

*He stops talking, but his eyes never leave the flames

MH: I was never a violent man before. I was signed to wrestle, signed for the craft. I was William Regal-lite, Pete Dunne with a foot more height. Technical, tactical, smart. I could float, I could sting, I could weave and watch fans forced to their feet by a sudden burst of athleticism. Manipulate and amaze, that was my thing. I’d work a joint, slap on a submission, but still be leaping over the ropes to the outside when the fans needed waking up.

*He looks at his fists and the camera picks up countless scars across them. Exasperated by his own thoughts, he looks up to the sky

MH: And I can do it again. The cowboy has had his run. The outlaw is gone. Marty Helms needs to find his face again and put it out there. But…Frak,,,I don’t know how

*He turns to start walking away but comes back and watches the footage. The moment his hand was lifted as World Champion is repeating over and over, and finally Helms smiles

MH: I didn’t enjoy it then, but maybe if I do it right…

*Off comes the hat. He holds it above the flames for a second, fighting himself. He wavers, but finally drops it in and watches it burn. We start to pan away, but we stop as he looks away past the camera. Helms speaks, but we don’t see to who

MH: I just don’t know if I can.

*His face fills the screen, looking close to tears, and then he turns and walks away as the camera zooms in on his flaming stetson.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 12:02

*We head out to ringside again as the set has been erected for Acer’s coronation as the King of 6CWF. The big screens are replaying the action from last week when he defeated Uryu Ishida in the final before the man himself appears on the stage, met by a mixed but roaring reception from the fans in attendance. The commentators make mention of the growing support for Acer from the UK fans on social media (it can’t be denied) and how that will factor in when 6CWF heads back to London next week for the “Survival Special”. Clarissa is on hand and looks like she will be doing the honours of crowning Acer before grabbing an interview with him but Acer is talking with her and she nods and hands over the mic.

RJ: Are we not doing the ceremony?

JT: I think Acer has something to say first…

Acer: You know what….f*** all the pretence here….I don’t need a gown or a crown for everyone to know who won the Road to Royalty last week…

But what I do need is JJ Johnson and The Saint….my best friends….to get their a55es out here now….

*The crowd roar at this

RJ: Oh my…..Acer wasting no time here…

*Saint’s music hits to a massive ovation and he steps out onto the stage in a suit and designer sunglasses on. “Here comes the boom” then hits the airwaves and JJ Johnson joins him. The reception from the audience is deafening but the mics are picking up some boos from sections of the fans. JJ is wearing a t-shirt with “The Author” written on it and he grins into the camera…

JJ: I said tonight I’d speak and the world was gone listen….so here we go…

*Saint and JJ touch knuckles and head to the ring. There are three-way chants happening now for all three men in the ring. JJ steps forward and points to the canvass in front of Acer

JJ: Floor’s all yours, big boy…

*This draws some boos

Acer: Ah here we go….the usual JJ Johnson tripe…talking down to anyone who opposes him…

JJ: Nah, nah, nah….don’t get me f***ed up playa….I ain’t talking down to nobody, except you…

Crowd: OOOOOOOO!

JJ: Out here running yo mouth….”JJ is this”, “Saint said that”….crying and whining like a little b1tch and I still can’t get my head around it all…how bout you Saint?

*Saint shrugs with a smirk

JJ: Already said you came back and went to war for me and mine….never to be forgotten what you did and what you risked….and after Night of Glory you said you wanted to cut yo own path…no problem…

Acer: But it was a problem….because everywhere I turned you were there….

JJ: Because I’m yo f***ing brother….I was supporting you, championing yo a55 to finally become world champion….

Acer: You never wanted me…

JJ: Bulls***….Beachfront Brawl, EWF Championship….I know yo a55 took a few blows to the head but JJ Johnson made that happen….

Acer: Because you knew what I really wanted…

*JJ smirks at this and looks over at Saint. Saint takes off his sunglasses now

JJ: You mean this…

*JJ slowly and dramatically unzips his hoody now to reveal the TAW Championship around his waist.

RJ: Why is JJ wearing that belt as though it belongs to him?

JT: Technically it does..

JJ: So last week….I’ll remind you in case you forgot….I walked out here….with my boy…

*Saint throws up his hands as some of the fans cheer

JJ: And I gave you another world title shot….

Acer: I earned that shot…

JJ: No dispute…..but I gave you a shot at the one you wanted…

Acer: And yourself…

*JJ winks at Saint

JJ: That’s just main character management, baby…

Acer: It’s called being a conceited piece of s***….

JJ: Incorrect….it’s called being a f***ing OG….and putting respect on my name and his (points at Saint) because you and all of these sorry sons of b1tches around here must of forgot just who in the hell we are…

See it all started clicking into place fo’ me a couple of months ago…stood in this ring with a mixture of the new and old eras of 6CWF….yours truly standing front and centre taking pelters from dirtbags not fit to lace my boots….not just today but ever…

And it occurred to me….y’all don’t have a f***ing clue…..see I expected better from you because you been there with me, along for the ride…..but these other little f***s been happy taking JJ Johnson’s money…..sucking the life out of JJ Johnson’s product….but they gone talk down on me?

Motherf***er without me….ain’t nobody here…

*There is a very mixed response to this and JJ laughs

JJ: See….truth hurts but JJ Johnson been walking these aisles for nearly twenty goddamn years and yet here I stand, taking shots off of you….one of my best friends….calling me out on stealing the spotlight, pulling the rug, taking your moment…

You got these moments because of me….don’t ever get that f***ing twisted….

*Acer is glaring at JJ now

Acer: And allow me, ladies and gentlemen, to introduce you all to the real JJ Johnson….that masked appears to have slipped a little there, J….

JJ: Unlike you, JJ Johnson the realest f***er in this company and it has taken a long a55 time but the truth gone flow…

Because I’ve bit my lip on so much s*** whilst you all use my name to cash yo checks….but now I’m spittin’ straight facts and the whole world gone hear them…

I’ve taken this company higher than yo wildest a55 dreams….when you were faking this s**t back in ’08 and had us wrestling out o’ leisure centres for dimes….now I got mother***ers on million pound contracts….global phenom…..Amazon deal making bank for everyone….I did that….wrestling in the biggest and best arenas around the world…I did that…..a second chance for you at becoming a world champion after a career of disappointment….I did that….

Acer: Have you heard yourself? Why don’t you pat yourself on the back a bit more, Jay…

Saint: No need…

*Saint walks over to JJ and mockingly pats him on the back

JJ: Appreciate that, homie…

Saint: No problem, brother…

Acer: I’m looking at you two and I don’t recognise either of you….

Saint: No….what you don’t recognise is what goes on behind the curtain…..you’ve lived a life sheltered from all of this because we protected you…

Acer: Protected me?

JJ: You chose this path….you split us in different directions and those directions lead us to the same goal (he points to the belt now)…..you ain’t never been in competition with us but now you gone find out….

*Saint smiles at this

JJ: Nine world championships between us….every accolade under the sun…..and both of us ran this company a damn sight better than you ever did….

*Saint nods his head and mouths “It’s true”

JJ: Storytime with JJ Johnson on Twitter told the whole world about the last time you challenged me…..you remember it, right?

*Acer says nothing but JJ smirks

JJ: Because I do….I looked up to you, I admired you….and you came back to the company and tried to stop my momentum, you tried to cut my legs out from under me…

Acer: So this is what; revenge?

JJ: Motherf***er if I wanted revenge, you’d be dead!

My point is clear and simple…..if you were that good you’d have stopped me back then, before my prime….and now what? Sixteen years later you think you’re any more capable….

I put you down then and now, because this is what you wanted, I’m gone put you down again….see this goes beyond that spear inside the Elimination Chamber….it goes beyond 2009 and that Ambulance Match….

Deep down this has always been on the agenda….me, you, Saint…..the question always needed answering and at Born in Fire we gone find out…..

Acer: So why is it that you two continue standing side by side if you know what is coming….only one of us can win….

Saint: Because me and JJ already settled all of our differences….that’s family for you….we spilt blood, we went to war…like he said, questions needed answering and we answered them…

*Acer turns back to JJ

Acer: And you just forgave him? After everything he put you through?

JJ: I forgave yo a55 for turning on me way before he ever did….and you both came through for me when I needed you most, like brothers do….but then you turned on me again, shame on me and all that s***….

So now you out here painting me out like a tyrant….like I’m the mother***ing Anti-Christ behind the scenes…

Well JJ Johnson about to show everyone what a real tyrant looks like….from this point forward I’m gone treat every act of disrespect in a whole different way….everyone got real comfy talking about me, about how I do…

Acer: And what are you going to do if I disrespect you?

JJ: You already did and yo fate was sealed last week….see I know what you want most and now I’m gone make sure you never, ever get it….see whether it’s me or Saint….read my lips, take a note, record a video….you ain’t never gone win a world championship in this company…

*This draws some more boos from the crowd

JJ: Because, newsflash, I can make that s**t happen with a click of my fingers….I run this company….this whole thing ( he points around the arena) belongs to me…and I’m done playing nice….keep the crown, frame the gown….whatever you like because that is the last accolade you will put to your name here in 6CWF…

*There is some serious tension now between the three men. Acer takes a minute to compose himself

Acer: I’m glad you’re finally showing your true colours….both of you….because it makes what I’m going to do at Born in Fire so much easier…

You can try and stop me….say what you want, do what you want….but it’s all fuel to the fire…at Born in Fire I will become world champion….and if I have to go through both of you to make that happen….so be it!

*There is another huge response from the crowd as the commentators hype the triple threat match at Born in Fire whilst all three men continue to stare each other down before the commercial break.

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 12:12

*We return from the break to see Max Adamson and Damien Andrews watching the end the Tony Monk/Villain match from earlier in the show. Andrews is laughing at the glass spot.

Andrews: He is very entertaining, I will grant you that…

Max: Your guy isn’t too bad either….that was a good match…

*Andrews raises a glass of whisky to his Co-GM

Andrews: Brilliant work on procuring Marty Helms back to the company too….is he scheduled for next week?

Max: He is…

Andrews: And he understands….he starts from the bottom…

Max: He’s been made aware…

Andrews: I know you two are friends….

Max: Like I said, he’s aware….

Andrews: Excellent…..so Mr Monk, Villain…..Marty Helms….who else am I missing?

Max: Killbane…Romero…

Andrews: Ah yes….but we don’t want them together?

Max: Savour it….they fit into my concept….new guys…

Andrews: And Helms?

Max: And Helms….

Andrews: I have one more…

*Max raises an eyebrow

Andrews: He’ll be here later….

Max: Friend of yours?

Andrews: An acquaintance of the family….

Max: So that makes six?

Andrews: And Angus Plague…

Max: So seven….

Andrews: Does it fit?

Max: Biggest one yet I think…….so it’s settled….Born in Fire…..Monk, Villain, Romero, Killbane, Helms, Plague and your new guy….Freshers Ball….

Andrews: I like it…

Max: Ladder Match…winner gets a shot at any midcard championship…..great way to kickstart a career…..could see the new Tyson Armstrong or Hobo…both former winners…

Andrews: I’d prefer the latter…

Max: Sounds like we have our show opener..

*Andrews toasts Max again before taking a sip of his drink

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 12:20

Our scene begins in the apartment of The Viper Liam Wood who is pacing the floor, clearly worked up. In Wood's hands he holds a special edition of the poster to 6CWF Born In Fire. On this poster it shows the faces of himself and Thunder to advertise their upcoming match.

Wood:
This is what you wanted right?!

Wood crumples up the poster and throws it on the floor as his eyes lock on to the camera as if he is speaking directly to Thunder himself.

Wood:
I hope so because this is the life you've signed up for now...real life...not a story in some stupid f**king comic where you pretend you're Aquaman or some sh¡t...this is REAL.

Wood pauses for a second

Wood:
I think that might be what has hurt me the most...

...not the fact that you screwed me out of the belt, not even the fact that you attacked me in the first place but it's the way that you betray me after 25 years of friendship and then you come out here last week and put on your stupid f**king act like this is still about entertaining people...

...like Born In Fire is just another match to you.

you see, this isn't just another match...this isn't going to be like any match we've ever had before...I said it last week when I accepted your challenge but this is more than any of those matches we've had before...this is personal.

Wood pauses, collecting himself before speaking again

Wood:
I honestly don't think you're ready...you've come back with your new sh¡tty music and this whole new 'heel' persona but I can see through it...like I said, it's all an act.

So I'm asking you to do me one last favour...

...when you step in the ring with me at Born In Fire, leave Thunder at the door and make sure it's Michael that turns up.

...I want it to be Michael who's blood I spill, I want it to be Michael who screams out in pain as I look to break his bones and end his career and I want it to be Michael to be the one to look me in the eyes as he realises he'll always be second best to me...

Wood pauses one final time

Wood:
...because that's the truth isn't it?! You can hide your reasoning and claim it's 'destiny' but you've always been second place to me your entire life and that must be hard for someone so insecure to deal with. It's ironic that you've spent most of your life dressing up and playing superhero when in reality you've always been the side kick...

...I got you in to 6CWF, I kept you relevant and without me, nobody would know who the f**k you are. You say that it's destiny for us to fight but the sad truth that you need to realise is, it's only Destiny because of the obsession you have...

...so congratulations, you're getting what you want and you can settle this warped view of destiny by being put through hell...

...I hope it's all you ever dreamt it would be.

Wood shakes his head one last time before walking out of shot.

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 12:39

Bout 3
Thunder vs ???

*We are back out at ringside and the crowd are poised for the in-ring return of Thunder. The commentators are talking about Thunder's "justification" for his turn on Liam Wood and how Wood wants further answers. Will he make an appearance here tonight? We all saw the earlier promo from Wood but is he here in Poland?

JT: Remember, Thunder is the man who called for a match tonight...

RJ: He has, in fact, called for a match against a member of Genesis....will that happen?

JT: I'm not sure Genesis are in the mood to wrestle tonight...

*Chris Guerra's music hits and it looks like one of Genesis' lackeys is being sent to perform his duty. Guerra is as cocky and arrogant as ever as he leaps onto the apron and steps through the ropes. He slicks back his hair and mockingly throws the excess water in Thunder's direction (he doesn't even bat an eyelid at this). Guerra circles now as the bell sounds but "Revival Mode" shatters the airwaves and the audience go wild for the arrival of Liam Wood.

RJ: Whoah....

JT: Bell has literally just rung but here comes Liam Wood...

*Wood storms out now and the referee tries to leap from the ring and head him off but he slings the official out of his way. He leaps up into the ring as Chris Guerra takes a sidestep and he throws a punch at Thunder....the impact is minimal as Thunder withdraws his head off the line and quickly dives from the ring...

RJ: Thunder wants no part of Liam Wood tonight...

JT: He won't be able to run at Born in Fire....he brought this on and now he's scarpering...

*The referee is already signalling for the bell and looks like Thunder, amazingly, is picking up a DQ win without having wrestled a single second. Chris Guerra tries to spin Wood around and confront him but Wood boots him in the stomach and drills him with a "Manson Driver" in the middle of the ring. Thunder runs behind the commentators desk. He grabs a microphone and gestures for Liam to stay where he is.

T: Ah! Stay right there and we can have a conversation, one foot out the ring and I'm outta here.

*Liam puts one foot through the ropes, before he can continue any further, Thunder drops the mic and throws himself over the barricade and high tails it through the crowd. A video begins to play on the big screen showing Thunder sat on a steel chair in a backroom.

T: I knew you couldn't be trusted to have a proper conversation. I assume you stepped out the ring? You attacked me right? Well, thanks for the free win.

*Liam paces the ring.

Liam and Thunder (simultaneously): I'm going to Frak kill you!

T: Your talking to a pre-recorded video you Brussel sprout. I made this video to show just how predictable you are, especially when your angry. I saw your promo and there's a couple of things I want to respond to. Firstly, to you and anyone else who thought I was talking about destiny as a real thing, it's a metaphor. Secondly, you doubt my entertainment reasoning? In your very promo, you said we've known each other 25 years then you should know I'm all about entertaining the crowd. Thirdly, this isn't reality, this is kayfabe, if you can't tell the difference between the two, maybe you should seek professional help.

Look, when this isn't how I wanted to return, I pitched to come back as a mute Lucha. Have Genesis pick said masked Lucha as a special ref for your match, only to reveal it was me all along. Give you that glimmer of hope that maybe the match would be fair and then stab you in the back. Sadly, creative told me that was too mean. And.. it looks like that's all we have time for so, I'll leave you with this; I'll be seeing you soon.

*Thunder rises from the chair and walks out of frame, only to reappear.

T: One more thing. Keep my IRL name out of your damn mouth, keep it kayfabe or I won't.

*Liam looks slightly confused and mouths a confused "No". A small smile creeps on to his face as the big screen flicks to black.

RJ: This Liam Wood/Thunder saga is just getting started....

JT: I don't think we have even scratched the surface...

RJ: I just don't understand Thunder's coyness....there is so much more to all of this...

JT: I'm not sure Liam Wood will be able to wait until Born in Fire...he wants his pound of flesh and he wants it right now...

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 12:48

[Following a commercial break, the 6CWF universe is greeted to a sell out in Krakow as the camera glides over the 6CWF fans going wild with the action they are seeing tonight. The camera slides down to the beaming duo of RJ and JT who are looking resplendent in expensive three piece suits as Born in Fire creeps ever nearer. RJ smiles into the camera as JT begins to speak to the 6CWF audience]

JT: Now folks, as you know, 6CWF is becoming bigger and bigger as the months and years roll by and as a thank you to all, 6CWF in colloboration is running a competition with our partners, Amazon Prime sport.

RJ: That's right J! We are excited to announce that four special members of the 6CWF family will win VIP all access tickets to Born in Fire 2024! And to give you all the details, I'm going to hand you over to our very special reporter, Clarissa! Clarissa can you tell us more?

[The camera changes to the 6CWF media pen where a excited and dazzling looking Clarissa is stood clutching a microphone. The crowd cheer loudly as a giddy Clarissa raises the microphone to her lips to share more information.]

Clarissa: That's right guys! 6CWF universe, listen closely because....

[Suddenly, the scene goes black as the crowd murmour to themselves as to what's happening. After a few seconds, an airhorn noise is rung loudly and annoyingly through the arena, so loud that the whole of Krakow could hear it! From the darkness, a large poison green G begins making itself as seen as the crowd boo and grown loudly as they know what is going to happen. Soundwave noises in green are coming from the Poison G in the centre of the screen with "The following message is Genesis approved" underneath in bold white. The scene then is burst into life by green wildfire like explosions as the scene quickly changes to Miss Jessica in her Genesis Awakening podcast booth area. Jessica is wearing a smart light green Gucci jumpsuit and her firery red hair shorter than usual in a neat crop. Jessica is sat in her booth behind a large LED table with images of Eddy Kent crossing it, holding the 6WF world championship. Jessica takes a quick swig from her Starbucks coffee cup and clutches the microphone she is now holding. Jessica has a sombre look etched over her face, her eyes glistening with sadness as she delivers her poison to the 6CWF universe.]

Jessica: 6CWF universe... Krakow. Welcome to a special address from your favourite woman signed off by the greatest of all time, your 6WF undisputed world heavyweight champion, the daddy, the inevitable one Eddy Kent. This message may come as a shock to some, or many of you around the world but this is news that we feel the world must know. I want to make it clear that, Genesis and Eddy Kent feel it's important the world should know.

[Jessica clears her throat, caught up in faux sadness as a crocodile tear slides down her cheek. She quickly clears this and exhales deeply. She then looks directly into the camera, her eyes mixed with faux sadness and malice as she delivers her poison.]

Jessica: For months, yours truly has been on a mission to uncover a cabal that has been acting not in the best interest of 6CWF, no, but for themselves. This past week, I have discovered something so evil, so shocking that not only rocked Genesis but will rock the other wrestlers in this company. For you see, this cabal, is codenamed, The Adamson alliance. The Adamson family has a secret plot to usurp all of this company and place the youngest Adamson, Rex at it's head. But we all know who would be on top, and that is our co-general manager, Max Adamson.

Jessica: This shocking discovery not only unsettled the whole of Genesis but has rocked our leader, our saviour, Eddy Kent so much that nobody has seen or heard from him in over a week. It has deeply rocked and hurt our Genesis so much to hear that Rex is a plant so that the Adamson family can have what it's always wanted. This is dangerous and unprecedented. The cabal must be stopped at it's head along with its ardent supporters.

[Jessica looks into the camera, an evil glint in her eyes as her mouth opens to place more venom into the 6CWF universe, saying her words with anger and aggression.]

Jessica: I want you all to think about it. Really think about it. Which superstar has had the most advantage given to them? the most opportunities given to them? which superstar has his face plastered over every single piece of items you can think of? which rookie has had everything handed to him on a plate? I want all Genesis patriots... all of the wrestlers in the back, local talent, technicians, anyone to ask Rex and Max the question. We must know this agenda.

Jessica: Now, Genesis could be accused of being a shield to Rex. This is misinformation. Genesis had no clue, the cabal and anti-genesis mob are far more deep and evil than we ever expected... and this runs to the very top of this company. Let me ask the wrestlers in the back, what do you make of this family first policy? The truth is right infront of your eyes! but dont you worry yourselves, including Rex...

Jessica: See, Eddy Kent is as generous as he is forgiving. He will show Rex mercy and welcome him back to his family..Eddy will guide you Rex. Because the Adamson family cannot save you Rex. But Eddy... under Eddy Kent he will rehabilitate you. And will show you mercy. All you need to do Rex is... surrender. Remember folks, Genesis guides us all! and he is inevitable.

[Jessica smiles sadistically as her poison reverberates around Krakow as the scene returns to ringside. A section of pro-genesis fans are chanting wildly with "Save 6CWF" and "Burn the Adamson alliance" and "Daddy knows" as JT and RJ look at each other not sure what to say as Jessica's "Breaking news" causes a level of awkwardness amongst the pair.]

BD: What do you want?

Andrews: Play nice, Damien…

*Dragon fixes his father with an angry look at the use of his nae

Andrews: I talked with your brother earlier…

BD: I bet you did…

Andrews: You must have saw him out there earlier….what he was willing to do to Patricks….what he wants to do you….Hardcore Hell….really? He wants to kill you….

BD: And he’s going to have to in order to stop me….

Andrews: I don’t think you understand…

*Dragon slams his fist down on the bench now and his father stops abruptly

BD: It’s you and him that don’t understand…he thinks my “human” side makes me weak but in reality it makes me smarter than him….he’s blinded by his desire to destroy and it makes him irrational….once upon a time that bested me but I’ve grown since then and now I know my strengths, I know my superiorities and at Born in Fire I will prove that…

Logan may be a monster….but so am I….the difference between the two of us is control…nobody can control him, not even himself, and that is going to play right into my hands….

You can play the innocent card all you like but I know better….you fuelled these fires, you led him down this path…

And now he will fall at my feet….this is my kingdom….I am the dominant species….I rule 6CWF and my brother will not change that!

*Dragon snarls at Damien Andrews and then stands to leave. Andrews is left with a sly smirk on his face.

*Uryu is sitting up on the roof of the Tauron Arena when Clarissa approaches him, stowing the mic behind her back as he comes closer.

Clarissa: Don’t worry, this is off duty…

*Uryu smiles at this as Clarissa sits down next to him

Clarissa: I have to admit some surprise…

*Uryu raises an eyebrow

Clarissa: I felt you may have retaliated earlier and got involved in Patricks’ match…

*Uryu shakes his head

Uryu: I’ve grown a little since our time together….rash and impulsive once I may have been….but I don’t believe I am like Chris Patricks and, quite honestly, I don’t want to be…

*Clarissa looks slightly abashed

Uryu: I know I have a huge match of my own coming up and then the contract signing….seeing Chris twice in one night? No thank you…

*Clarissa’s smile returns

Clarissa: And how are you feeling about the signing? Do you expect Max to pick a side?

*Uryu contemplates this

Uryu: Honestly? I would never try and second guess Max, been there and done that….lost a girlfriend…

*Clarissa bows her head at this

Uryu: I know Max and Chris are best friends and it’s not my intention to get in between that…facing Chris Patricks in a personal war was not something I ever imagined happening….but, like I said, I’ve grown and I can only be pushed so far….Chris wanted this, despite any other claims to the contrary…..now he’s getting what he wants….

Clarissa: And what do you want?

Uryu: Truthfully? Stability….and maybe, selfishly, a little more success before all is said and done…

Clarissa: That isn’t selfish….I believe you can do it….become world champion again…

Uryu: I’m glad someone believes in me….

Clarissa: There’s plenty of fans out there too who feel the same….

Uryu: And that’s why I continue…..

*Clarissa leans over and kisses Uryu on the cheek, taking him by surprise. He looks at her

Clarissa: I just wanted to wish you luck…..tonight and for Born in Fire….I really do, Uryu…

Uryu: Really do?

*She stands up

Clarissa: Believe…

*She smiles and leaves. Uryu looks at the moon and contemplates.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 13:51

*We head into a darkened room (think “The Gloves are Off” from Sky Sports” and Jack Reynolds is sitting at a table with two chairs set either side.

JR: Ladies and gentlemen tonight we aim to delve deeper into the backstories of two of 6CWF’s newest but more fearsome rivals…..given my previous role with AAA in Mexico I have been given the honour of overseeing the proceedings….please allow me to introduce you to Diego Romero and Killbane.

*In the dark room we can barely make out KillBanes body and shape as he's sitting in a shadow. Only the bright white of the skull like design on his face I'd clear. As well as a glint in his eyes...
Jack Reynolds asks him about his heritage, he asks why KillBane has come here and what his problem with Romero is?

Killbane: "I am the protege of the greatest Luchadors of all time. I have studied under many men, many legends of the craft and my last and most influential of all is 'El Diablo" the uncle of this piece of sh1t.. (He motions towards Diego). I have started at the very bottom the Lucha ranks and I have worked my way up, while a man like Romero here was born into a Lucha family, while he had all of the benefits of the industry, of the Lucha Libre lifestyle, I had to work my way up from the ground level, I know what real work is .."

*Reynolds points out that reports are that KillBane is from a wealthy background, that he came to the wrestling world ready trained and his families donations, allegedly helped to pay for some of his success.

Killbane: "Yes I come from a wealthy background, I come from a long line of warriors and I grew up fighting for the right to call myself part of that heritage, my birthright was that of a god, my bloodline travels all the way back to the ancient aztecs and my predecessors where the ones who would both contact the gods and wield their power on the battlefield. This is an advantage in almost every part of my life, but it is one that my family has enjoyed, for generations, and I will continue that in my lifetime. Family is important to me. Without our honour we have nothing (a false smile crosses KillBanes mouth)....Speaking of honour... This whelp, this ungrateful Perro, he comes here on the run. My mentor and great friend, the legendary 'El Diablo' has seen him for what he is, a low down, dirty stray, a boy who wants to usurp him and take his legacy, though he has done nothing but help build it. He, 'El Diablo', is the greatest Luchador of his generation, or any that come before, and I will be only too glad to show this pretender to the throne that he is nowhere near the level of my teacher, or me...

*Romero is not happy, he'd visibly angry witch Killbane finds funny

Killbane: "Why do you fight this, perro? You come here to 6CWF and you play act like your father is some legend.. you act as if anyone has heard of him, but they haven't, the papers, el periódicos, back home they speak of the legend of 'El Diablo' they speak of the man who holds court over Lucha Libre and of a man who stands out, alone, above all others. No mention of this.. loser, no mention of the perro I see Infront of me, no mention of his scumbag father. Your father was no one, he was what these people would call a 'Jobber', a club wrestler, he would show up.and get pummeled, get victimised by the greats like 'El Diablo', you Kid, you are no one. You believed your daddy when he told you that you where the son of a legend? No, your the Nephew of a legend, and the son of a lier, whereas me? I am the protege of the great 'El Diablo' I have conquered mexico, I have now been sent here, to show, not only you, but the whole world what the real legacy of 'El Diablo' is.. KillBane, the god of war, the god a death.."

*Reynolds mentions that KillBane has no real lineage, that there was never a real Killbane before him, we did see Blue Dragon adopt the name for a while in 6CW but we now know that was simply a disguise. Where did the name and mask come from?

Killbane: "Yes, I know my mask and my name where bastardised by your current 6CW Champion. We briefly crossed paths in Mexico and the uncultured brute stole one of my masks, but the rest of that is beneath me.. as for the mask and title, well... I wasn't always KillBane, I went by a few names but it wasn't until I met 'El Diablo,' and we spoke about my bloodline, my family heritage that he informed me of a legend, that of the warrior who viciously and relentlessly bent his enemies to submission, the legend of a godlike man, who was set to rule over his people with an iron fist and be worshipped as the greatest Warrior that ever lived. The man wore tattoos that depicted the shape of deaths head. The face of the warrior was decorated as a skull to warn his enemies that they where already too far down the path towards their inevitable doom, that to face him was to face death itself.

*Reynolds turns to Diego Romero now and wants to ask him about his thoughts on Killbane’s decision to work for El Diablo and pursue him across the continents

Romero: This man (be indicates to Killbane) has chosen to do the devil’s bidding….

*Killbane smiles at this

Romero: He talks as though he knows me, mi familia, and everything we have been through but he knows nothing. He is a hired mercenary and nothing more. He has accepted my Uncle’s words and money without question or explanation and now he has blood on his hands. But that is fine from where I sit because just like my Uncle you underestimate me and my capabilities. You talk ill of mi padre, you spit on the grave of mi madre by siding with the man who led her to an early demise and now there is no turning back from the point we have reached. We both know this because it is written in the stars and in the scribes of our ancients. This is tribal now, this is a blood war and we will fight to the finish.

*Reynolds asks Diego Romero if he knows of Killbane and what he has achieved in Mexico

Romero: Of course. I do not need him sit across this table from me and give me a history lesson. Or a lecture on his aristocracy and the pretence that he had to work hard for everything my Uncle has handed to him on a golden platter. He may have the riches but this business runs through my veins and I know, deep down, that is another reason for his pursuit of me. Jealousy ese. He wishes he had my background. He wishes he and My Uncle had blood ties but they do not and it consumes him.

My Uncle is concerned I will overshadow his legacy but that will never be my intention or goal. I want no links to that man. I do not covet his mask, I do not covet anyone’s identity. I am Diego Romero, the first of my name, and nobody, especially you (points at Killbane again) is going to take that away from me. You can try, I urge you to try harder than you have done so far, but when all is said and done you will realise just like El Diablo that I am much harder to destroy than you hope.

*The tension is palpable as Killbane stands suddenly, knocking over his chair. Romero remains seated and looks up at his foe.

Killbane: Big words for a small nino….I sure hope you fight as well as you can talk….so far I am unimpressed with what I see…

Romero: Maybe next time fight me like a warrior, like our ancestors would have, and refrain from attacking me from behind like a coward. Then you’ll see.

*Fire flashes in both men’s eyes as Jack Reynolds signals that security might be needed in the vicinity. Killbane holds a hand up now as though to say “No need” and then he points at the skull on his face and then winks at Romero and walks out. Romero’s hands are shaking as Reynolds watches the youngster. He tries to stop his hands but he cannot. He flashes the interviewer a smile but his eyes tell a much different story as the scene comes to an end.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 13:52

*Scott Harris is standing with Jack Reynolds. Reynolds is asking about the clashes last week between Harris and Perfect Jack and if Harris is disgruntled to not be involved in tonight’s main event given what happened at the RTR…

Harris: Naturally I think I was a perfect fit for the six man tag tonight….but management disagreed and I’ve got to accept that…

But if Perfect Jack or any of those other losers in Revolution think we are done, guess again…because we are far from finished…they cost me, they prevented me from retaining my crown and securing a world title shot at Born in Fire….that’s not something that just goes unpunished…

JR: So in your mind….what is next?

Harris: We are fast approaching Born in Fire….after a moderately successful 2023 I was adamant that 2024 would end with me holding championship gold….there’s one event left…..one more opportunity for me……and now all eyes turn to Perfect Jack and the 6CWF European Championship…

*The crowd pop

Harris: I’m done beating around the bush….me and Jack clashed last week and it made me realise that we’ve never really shared a ring, that’s going to change….I know his credentials and his ability….and if he doesn’t know mine then he’s going to find out….I believe it has all the makings of an instant classic and I hope management see fit to put together….

JR: So this is a call out?

Harris: Call it what you like…..I hope Max and Andrews are listening because I couldn’t make it simpler….I want Perfect Jack at Born in Fire and I want a shot at the European Championship….

JR: And you think they will accept your request?

*Harris grins at this

Harris: Oh this isn’t a request….this is just me doing them the courtesy of letting them know what’s going to happen…

Jack came after me but nobody hunts “The Sharpshooter”…..so now it’s on and he drew my attention, and my attention was directed straight to that gold around his waist…everyone knows I have yet to taste singles gold in my career….

Born in Fire, that story changes forever!

*Harris nods at Reynolds and leaves as the Polish crowd roar.

Bout 4
Blue Dragon vs Uryu Ishida

*Uryu Ishida is being welcomed by the Polish audience as we return to ringside. We are reminded of what went down earlier between Logan Kincade & Chris Patricks as well as the fact we are still awaiting the contract signing between Ishida & Patricks later in the show. The former 6CW Champion leaps up into the ring now as highlights play from his run to the final in the RTR last time out.

JT: Uryu will be looking to build off that momentum and head into Born in Fire on the crest of a wave…

RJ: Not only that but if he was to defeat the 6CW Champion here tonight then he’d put himself right in contention for a future shot into the back end of the year and into 2025…

*Blue Dragon strides out on the stage now to a big time ovation from the crowd (Poland showing their support for the 6CW Champion). He makes his way to the ring and he smirks as he unclasps his championship belt and slides it under the ropes for Uryu to look at (knowing full well that he removed the title from the Uryu/Gazzy/Plague storyline). Dragon then climbs over the top rope and stands over his opponent. The referee tries to get in between them as Dragon continues to smile. The bell sounds to get the contest underway and they circle one another before locking up in the middle of the ring. BD is far too powerful and launches Uryu back into the corner before charging at him for a clothesline but Ishida spins around the ropes and nails a kick over the top. Dragon staggers back as Uryu hops up top and nails a meteora takedown for a one count.

*Uryu smashes in calf kicks as Dragon tries to stand and then looks for a buzzsaw kick to the skull as BD dips but the world champion dodges and shoves Uryu into the ropes. Ishida comes back and dodges a clothesline attempt before handspringing off the opposite side into a “Cardiac” kick to the top of BD’s head. Dragon staggers, dazed, as clatters a kick into his knee now to drop him on all fours and then nails a step-up shining wizard for a two. The crowd applaud the way Uryu has started the bout and he rushes to the corner to continue the press. Ishida flies for a crossbody but Dragon catches him in his arms. He then swings Uryu out for a release uranage slam but Uryu wraps himself around the arm of the world champion and takes him down for the “Sunset” submission. Dragon manages to roll through and back up before he drags Ishida into him and uses his free arm to drop Uryu with a ferocious forearm strike.

*Dragon hauls Uryu up and he suplexes him into the air, holding him there for ten seconds, before splattering him backwards onto the mat. He keeps Uryu flat on his back and bounces off the ropes for a giant legdrop but Uryu avoids the impact and rolls BD backward into a cradle for a near fall. They scramble again and Uryu ducks under his opponent and springs onto the turnbuckle. He feints for a crossbody and BD drops to the canvass in anticipation which allows Uryu to twist off into an impeccable phoenix splash from the second rope for another two.

RJ: We are seeing, on a consistent basis, why Uryu had such a successful 2023….the level of performance is there…

JT: But the results aren’t and that is something he needs to address….a lack of killer instinct perhaps?

RJ: In here tonight against the 6CW World Champion and he does not look a foot out of place…

*Uryu springs onto the ropes and looks to drop a leg across the back of BD’s neck as he rises but Dragon stands and catches Ishida in the powerbomb position. He looks like he is going to launch him over the ropes to the outside but Uryu spins around the shoulders and looks to counter with a poisonrana. BD is too powerful, however, and he keeps his hands locked on Uryu’s legs and then launches him over his shoulders and into the turnbuckle, hitting with impact. BD drags Uryu away from the turnbuckle now and nails a back suplex transitioned into a spinning spinebuster for a two count.

JT: All it takes is one of those huge power moves from Blue Dragon to change the entire complexion of this match…

RJ: Which is why he is the current 6CW Champion…

JT: But does he have one eye on Hardcore Hell at Born in Fire?

*BD lands lashing clubs across the back of Uryu, keeping him grounded, and then he pulls him in and looks to flip him for the “Last Ride” powerbomb but Uryu shows incredible skill to drop down over BD’s back and lock his legs into a sunset flip bomb (Code Red) which gains a surprise two count. They fight up again and BD lets out a roar as he spins into a discus lariat but Uryu dodges it and springs off the ropes into a crunching tornado DDT takedown. The crowd are applauding as Ishida makes his way over to the corner now and he hauls himself up high. Expectation is rife for the “Split Second” but is all knees upon landing, sending Uryu rolling away in pain.

*BD gets up and he nails a pump through knee strike to Uryu’s head as he stands. Ishida sags back into the ropes and then comes forward into a discus lariat which spins him inside out. The 6CW Champion draws a finger across his throat now and readies for the “Deathnote” (Gutwrench powerbomb) but Uryu lands with a flurry of punches and then succeeds in dropping off the back. He stumbles to the ropes as Dragon gives chase but he manages to drag the top down and send BD flying over to the outside. Uryu sucks in some deep breaths and then he launches himself onto the top rope and twists into a spectacular moonsault takedown on the outside.

*Uryu manages to, somehow, roll Dragon back in the ring now before getting himself back on the apron. Dragon is slow to his feet as Uryu goes airborne with the springboard forearm but Dragon catches him on his shoulders. F-5? No, instead he swings Uryu out and drops him, ribs first, across his knees (Lumbar Check). Uryu is badly winded from the impact and Dragon follows up with a huge legdrop across the throat which gets him a two count.

*Dragon is in stalk mode now for the finish when “Refuse/Resist” booms out of the speakers. Chris Patricks is coming out here with a mic and he’s letting everyone know that he wants this “bulls***t contract signing” done and dusted.
RJ: We’re in the middle of a match, Chris…

JT: He knows exactly what he is doing…

Patricks pulls up the ring apron and pulls out a table. He tries to slide it inside but the referee is blocking him and telling him the match is still ongoing. BD smirks and shakes his head before grabbing Uryu. He looks for the “Deathnote” again but Uryu slips out onto his feet and detonates the buzzsaw kick against the world champion’s temple. Uryu sees Patricks trying to lift the table through the ropes again as he sprints over and nails a baseball slide dropkick which sends CP and the table flying across the arena floor.

RJ: I’d say Uryu has had enough of Patricks’ meddling…

*Uryu makes his way over to BD now and looks to drag him into a hammerlock DDT but BD drives backwards and crushes Ishida into the corner. Dragon unloads with several crushing blows to the midsection and then lifts Uryu up onto the turnbuckle. He clambers up to nail something high risk but Uryu is tenacious and battles back with punches and elbows that knock BD back down to the canvass. CP just leaps back on the apron as Uryu spins his body and nails a kick to send Patricks crashing back into the aisleway. Uryu stands tall and leaps into a seated senton on BD but the 6CW Champ catches him and nails the “Last Ride” for the three count and victory.

JT: Uryu takes another L and you have to put the blame for that solely at the door of Chris Patricks, once again….he knew exactly what he was doing coming out here during this match…

RJ: He said he was here for the contract signing and that’s exactly what is coming up next but we all know there was an ulterior motive…

JT: Blue Dragon takes the W as he builds toward the fight of a lifetime against his brother at Born in Fire….but this issue with Patricks & Uryu, well I think someone needs to take some kind of control…

Patricks is rubbing his jaw but smiles as he sees the referee raising BD’s arm in the air. Patricks then grabs the table from earlier and begins sliding it into the ring. Max Adamson then walks out on stage to a huge pop from the Polish audience….Patricks turns and looks annoyed that Max has interrupted him just before we head for an advert break.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 14:15

*As we return from a commercial break we see Max Adamson in the ring directing a few security guards around ringside as we see Patricks’ table has been table covered with a black cloth with a microphone resting on it and a folded out steel chair on either side. Max is seen holding a contract in his hand as he turns around and picks up the mic.

MA: Ladies and Gentlemen. I am out here to make sure this contract signing goes off without any issues. We all know how these like to end but it is not happening today!

RJ: Max being out here is unusual especially with the way Chris Patricks seems to think of him recently.

JT: Maybe he doesn't want them to try and kill each other like they nearly did at Unleashed II. I'm glad security is out here in case we get hurt.

RJ: I’d say they got out here just in time because Patricks & Uryu were about to go at it..

*Chris Patricks climbs back into the ring now, security stepping aside on Max’s orders and he glares at his friend. The crowd are mixed in reaction for him though there are a few cheers as he doesn't take his eyes off Max. He walks towards Max and starts trying to snatch the contract out of his hand.

CP: Just get this over with and get out of the ring Max. I didn't ask for you here.

Max shakes his head looking disappointed in his old friend. We see a shot of Uryu on the outside, also surrounded by security. Max now indicates he wants Ishida in the ring too.

MA: No, We are waiting for everyone because I want words with you and Uryu.

Uryu climbs inside now and goes to offer Max a handshake but he doesnt respond to it. Chris smirks as he watches this.

MA: This isn't handshake time Uryu. Sit.

*Uryu slowly sits down and looks across at Chris Patricks who mouths something to Uryu that causes a small look of irritation as it isn't picked up on a microphone.

MA: For the past month you both have been at loggerheads with each other and I am here to put it simply. At Born in Fire it ends. You two will fight each other but the main question I and everyone else wants to know is...

*Chris then stands up and snatches the mic out of Max's hand.

CP: You want to know what started all this? It started with him not being who he really is, How he acts with good intentions all the damn time and how he never lets anyone see what he is really like. Mr Family Man who struggles to even start one. Mr Happy, Mr nice and respectful. It makes me sick that you are choosing not to be yourself and each time you use a mask to get what you want. You got Clarissa that way. You tried to get Christy James but she saw how pathetic you were and rejected you. You deservedly got your ass handed to you when you were caught. The first sign of the real Uryu Ishida in years! You are a phony to all these fans you have Uryu! I aim to prove it!

*Chris throws the microphone down on the table and starts pacing as security slide in to prevent him from attacking Uryu, Who picks up the microphone and stands up.

UI: A phony huh... Over all the years I have been here I have rarely made any bad choices. The first was early in my career trusting Max as much as I did. Yet it's a call looking back that I don't regret. It taught me what to expect in 6WF and I thank him for it. It was an ass kicking I needed...

*Uryu glances at Max and nods at him.

Uryu: The second you have already mentioned. I regret my actions with Gazzy and Christy a lot. It was a bad choice on my part and...I was wrong. Yeah I went after another wrestlers wife when I thought they were seperated and got caught out. So instead of me repeating myself over and over again Chris because this is like the third time I have told you my regret over it to your face and you don't seem to know honesty when its staring you in the face! Lets just get this signed Max so I don't have to put up with his deluded crap...

Uryu passes the microphone to Max and sits down, looking through the contract as he signs it.

MA: Uryu you keep making the same mistake. You think its going to end.

*As Uryu looks up at Max with a sigh we can hear Chris yelling from behind the security guards.

CP: The nice guy act will end Uryu!

Uryu stands up and slams his hands on the table as he glares across at Chris.

UI: It's not an act! Never was and never will be! I wear my heart on my sleeve and am honest with everyone. Max may have screwed me in the past but right now he has earned my respect and you had it until you started with all this fake hero crap. Take it from Max, I am who you see each and every week in the ring, on the roof and right here! So if you and Max have issues to resolve then deal with them now! At Born in Fire I will show you that I am who I've always said I am.

Uryu takes a few steps back and the security steps back too, Allowing Chris to pick up the contract off the table and sign it. He then snatches the microphone out of Max's hand again and glares at both Max and Uryu.

CP: Thats right Uryu, Back away just like when you backed away from helping Max against Genesis.

Chris turns his full attention to Max.

CP: He refused to help when you needed it most and that eats him up inside! You came to me because you knew I could be relied upon! I could be the one to help you most...

Yet after you did you threw me aside like I was trash. You let me drown when you knew full well I could barely swim! You just stood there and watched as I took beating after beating...you were there when you needed help but not when I needed it....and don't get me f***ing started on that little pr1ck Rex...

Max then picks up the contract and looks through it as he takes the microphone away from Chris.

MA: At least we finally get to the bottom of this...

Max looks through the match contract again and looks frustrated.

MA: I don't think a regular referee will allow you both to prove yourselves to the other. I don't think a regular referee will allow things to slide as much as they need to be. So I am going to appoint a special guest referee for this match just so you both can finally put an end to this!

Max points to the titantron and the crowd, Uryu and Chris see a graphic of Uryu Ishida v Chris Patricks with Max Adamson as the special guest referee. Uryu looks stunned as he turns to Max, Chris angrily breaks through security to try to get to Max who calmly steps out of the ring. Uryu is looking confused as Max leaves, the camera sees him mouth asking Max "What are you thinking!?"

RJ: Watch out!

Uryu is then hit by a security guard thrown by Chris. Uryu is a little dazed as Chris breaks through and grabs Uryu.

JT: Enigma Bomb through the table!

Uryu is left on the broken table as the remaining security grab Chris and pull him out of the ring.

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 15:30

*We head backstage to see Blue Dragon heading through Gorilla following his victory over Uryu. The cameras follow the 6CW Champion as he heads toward his own dressing room and pushes the door open…..the entire room has been trashed and a message has been painted on the wall in blood red paint.

“BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER….AND I’M GOING TO USE YOURS TO PAINT YOUR FINAL RESTING PLACE!

*Dragon takes a deep breath and then he smiles

BD: Bring it on, brother…..

*The scene changes and the crowd roar as Dicey Reilly walks into Geoff Steel’s dressing room ahead of the main event. The Xtreme Championship belt is resting on the table.

Dicey: What’s craic?

*Steel sees Dicey looking at Xtreme belt

Steel: All you have to do is ask…

*Dicey looks at Steel now with a shrewd smile although there is a fire in his eyes

Dicey: Do you find it funny?

Steel: What’s that?

Dicey: Fifteen years we’ve run in the same feds but the list of Dicey Reilly/Geoff Steel matches is practically non-existent…don’t you want to know?

Steel: Want to know…

Dicey: Don’t act f***ing daft (Steel smirks at this)….who the better man is? Or is that something you’re concerned about finding out the answer to?

*Steel’s smile disappears now

Steel: Do I look concerned?

*Dicey smiles now but it is tinged with a competitive edge

Dicey: I just think it must smart a little….you’ve given blood, sweat and tears to this fed…probably just as much if not more than me….but who do they call Mr 6CW?

Steel: Gazzy…

*Dicey’s brow furrows at this

Dicey: Your brand and your stock doesn’t equate to mine….

Steel: Dicey if you’re trying to get some kind of weird rise out of me you’re wasting your time…..

*Steel stands up now and he and Dicey stare at one another

Steel: Tonight is about setting the record straight with Revolution….me, you, Gazzy…we’ve all got issues with them….issues them stem back a long time….and I’m more than happy having you two as my partners, I couldn’t ask for better people watching my back…

But I’m not going to stand here and pretend I haven’t noticed you looking….watching my movements of late…everytime I turn around I catch you looking at that (he indicates his head at the Xtreme belt)….

And after the speech you just gave when you walked in I’m starting to wonder if perhaps it’s you who needs the question answering….

So let’s get through tonight and whatever else Revolution have to throw at us…..and then…

*He picks up his title belt now and holds it in front of Dicey

Steel: We can provide those answers in front of the whole world!

*Dicey grins at this as Steel heads out of the room

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 15:31

*Back out at ringside and things are getting set up for the title celebration for The Brothers of Seduction. Rainbow balloons are falling from the rafters and the crowd are being led in a medley of classics by Kylie, Cher and Madonna amongst others. There is a real party atmosphere as the brand new tag team champions appear on the stage now.

RJ: I never believed I'd be present to see anything like this...

JT: I wish I wasn't...

RJ: Have a little fun...

*Percy and Perez are interacting with the fans as Percy tries to hide his new "tattoo" from view. Perez decides to go crowd surfing and ends up in a circle of attractive females wearing "P0rnhub" t-shirts. He's getting acquainted with them whilst Percy climbs through the ropes into the ring.

JT: WHAT THE???

*There is a commotion in the crowd as Jimmy Phillips has attacked Brandon Perez from behind and is delivering the coquina clutch on the floor, Perez' eyes are rolling in the back of his head as he passes into unconsciousness.

RJ: This was supposed to be a celebration...

JT: The MVPs have a different idea altogether....

*In the ring we see Percy's attention drawn to the commotion in the crowd when Mike Masters crashes into him from behind. Masters spins Percy around and then runs him forward, launching him through a huge cardboard cut-out of the champions. Masters boots some of the balloons out of his path and then he beckons Percy back up and nails a springboard disaster kick which crunches into his face and sends him through the ropes to the ideas.

RJ: This is a damn mugging...

JT: Mike Masters and Jimmy Phillips have wanted to establish themselves in the tag team division for some time.....I'd say this should do it...

RJ: They have laid waste to the champions...

Bout 5
JJ Johnson/The Saint vs The MVPs (Jimmy Phillips/Mike Masters)

*Mike Masters and Jimmy Phillips are preparing to continue their beatdown on The Brothers of Seduction when “Here comes the boom” rips through the airwaves and the crowd go wild. Seems JJ Johnson and The Saint aren’t waiting around any longer and if it is a fight that The MVPs want then that is exactly what they are about to get. Jimmy Phillips looks around at JJ and Saint, making their way down the ramp, and he slaps Masters on the shoulder to get his attention before diving out to head the opposition off. He aims a massive right hand at Saint but it is blocked and then Saint slams his knee into JP’s stomach before spinning him back around and runs him forward, ploughing him head-first into the steel steps. Mike Masters looks to catapult himself over the top rope onto JJ Johnson but JJ catches Masters and then delivers a sickening release spinebuster (ala Ron Simmons) on the arena floor.

JT: Some of what was said earlier by JJ Johnson and The Saint got the fans’ backs up but there is no doubting who the audience are supporting right here…

RJ: Regardless of the war of words between the former members of The Coalition, there is no doubting the popularity of the two men out here right now…

JT: Two of the absolute greatest to ever lace them up…

*JJ slings Masters into the ring now and the bell sounds to get us underway. JJ rolls in and almost takes Masters’ head off with a running clothesline. He drags him back up and whips him off the ropes before launching him into the air with a massive backdrop. Masters clutches his spine as he staggers into the corner and JJ drills him with another clothesline before beckoning him out and kicks him in the stomach…

RJ: ACCESS ALL…

JT: ZIGZAG!

Masters is no slouch and he counters the stunner into the leaping neckbreaker for a two count. Masters stands now and he stomps down on JJ before putting his fingers to his lips to silence the crowd.

*Masters ushers JJ up and he springs off the ropes for a disaster kick but JJ ducks it and then nails a jab followed by a huge overhand right which takes Masters off his feet. JJ tags Saint in now and the audience voice their approval. They whip Masters off the ropes and nail him with a double spinebuster as he returns. Phillips is complaining to the referee as Saint bench presses Masters into the air now and then slams him down onto the mat with real venom. He circles the ring as he waits for Masters to get up and then grabs him by the hair and pulls him into position…

RJ: DIVINE FOR…

Masters counters the powerbomb attempt into a headscissors takedown to send Saint crashing into the turnbuckle. He then charges in with a leaping splash before heading up the turnbuckle as Saint staggers away. Masters reaches the top rope and then he launches himself into a cannonball senton that takes Saint down. The commentators have to remark on Masters’ pedigree as he almost takes Saint’s head now with a disaster kick for a two. Masters tags in Phillips.

*Phillips slugs Saint with big right hands and looks to whip him off the ropes but Saint reverses. Saint drops his head for a backdrop but Phillips returns and lashes a boot into his face and launches through the air with a shoulder block takedown. Saint gets back up and is scoop slammed to the deck before Phillips points to the ropes and runs off them…

RJ: GAME-CHANGER!

Saint ducks the clothesline “from hell” at the very last second and then kicks Phillips in the gut and drills him with a fantastic pumphandle slam for a two count. Saint stands and he points to the “Born in Fire” sign and motions a belt around his waist. Some of the crowd cheer and JJ is shown with a smile from the apron before he too motions a belt around his to split the audience.

RJ: Penny for Acer’s thoughts right now…

JT: This whole scenario has blown my mind in recent weeks, I have to be honest….there is no denying that JJ and Saint’s attitudes have changed…

*Saint pulls Phillips into a front facelock for a jackhammer but Phillips succeeds in floating over the back and drives a hard punch into the small of Saint’s back. He stumbles around and Phillips nails a northern lights suplex for two. JP gets back up now and he goes into stalk mode as he waits for Saint to stand and then grabs his wrist to pull him in…

RJ: TOUCH…

Saint elbows his way out of the “rock bottom” attempt and then he scoops Phillips up on his shoulders and swings him out into a guillotine across the top rope. He pulls him back around now and drills him in the middle of the ring with the “Saints Row” jackhammer………………1………………….2…………….Masters breaks it up. The referee moves in to get rid of Masters as JJ drops him with a huge right hand…

*Masters goes through the ropes to the outside following the punch and Johnson decides to follow. JJ drags Masters up and slams his head off the ringside barrier before he spins him around and launches him, upside down, against the corner of the railings. Back in the ring and we see Saint stalking Phillips now for the RKO and he leaps into position but Phillips counters into the coquina clutch…

RJ: Game-changer!

JT: What a statement this would be….can Phillips choke out The Saint?

JJ has pulled Masters around and is smashing his head, repeatedly, off the announce desk until he slumps on the arena floor. Saint is doing everything he can to stay on his feet and avoid being dragged down into the chokehold. He manages to drive backward and crush Phillips in the corner before staggering away, trying to catch his breath. Phillips regains himself and runs out for the huge clothesline from hell but Saint dodges it before hitting the ropes and lands with a massive spear on the comeback…

1.
…2
……….Phillips just manages to pop the shoulder!

*JJ gets back on the apron now and accepts the tag from Saint. He has a smirk on his face as he delivers a boxing exhibition on Phillips, jabbing away at his head, before sinking a hard right into the body. Phillips sags from the shot and JJ runs the ropes and connects with the scissors kick….JJ stands and he raises his arm in the Coalition Salute (some of the crowd are actually booing) before he lets Phillips up and scoops him onto his shoulders…

JT: VIP EXPERIENCE….

Masters is back on the apron and he grabs Phillips’ legs and manages to help him down. JJ turns back around and Phillips nails the “Touchdown” (Rock Bottom)….Phillips is hurting but manages to reach over and tag Masters in. Masters immediately takes to the skies and nails the 450 splash on Johnson but JJ kicks out on two and a half…

RJ: There’s a reason this man is a Hall of Fame talent….

*Masters looks annoyed as he stomps down on JJ and then he slicks back his own hair. He lets JJ stand and then grabs his arms from behind and looks to twist him into the “Killswitch” but JJ shoves him into the corner. Masters heads straight up the turnbuckle and twists back with an impressive whisper in the wind takedown before he superkicks Saint off the apron, drawing the ire of the fans. Masters fixes his gaze back on JJ Johnson now and he wants the “Gringo Killer”……

JT: G@YMAKER!

RJ: Ref didn’t see it…

Percy Percival pulls Jimmy Phillips off the apron and detonates the superkick on his jaw. The referee is alerted to the commotion and spins around to see Phillips unconscious on the arena floor as Percy stands over him…

JT: Should be a DQ…

RJ: Referee is pretty sure what happened but he can’t call what he didn’t see…..HIDDEN BLADE!

The referee has moved to the ropes to question Percy whilst Brandon Perez has rolled into the ring on the blindside. Mike Masters is leaning down to pick JJ up when Perez nails him with the brutal elbow strike to the back of the head….

JT: I guess we can call that payback…

RJ: MVPs interrupted the title celebration….they made this physical….and this is their comeuppance…

*JJ suddenly kicks up on his feet as the majority of the crowd roar. Mike Masters is dazed and confused as Saint rolls in now and he kicks Masters in the stomach before flipping him into the powerbomb position…

JT: We’ve seen this before…..

JJ is waiting behind as Saint drops Masters into the stunner. The referee turns back around as JJ makes the cover and we have our winners…

RJ: JJ Johnson & The Saint pick up the W here…big assist from the new tag team champions…

JT: Tremendous tag team action….

RJ: With potentially big ramifications leading into Born in Fire….

*JJ and Saint touch knuckles now and head for opposite corners to pose in front of the fans. They each take it in turn to point to the Born in Fire sign, drawing roars from the audience. They then drop down and mockingly go head to head with one another in the middle of the ring…..we then see Brandon Perez and Percy Percival posing with their tag titles as the replays document the end of the match….will MVP’s seek retribution?

6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43 Empty Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Episode 43

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 15:46

*We head backstage to see the members of Revolution alongside Oliver Keane. Tim Allen is standing with them for an interview ahead of the main event. He asks them specifically about tonight’s match first and foremost.

Keane: Tonight is about reminding the wrestling world that Revolution is the dominant force. Forget Genesis, The Coalition and all the pretenders….this is where the power lies in 6CWF…..the reigning EWF Global Champion….the reigning European Champion and soon to be the reigning Freshers Ball winner Angus Plague…nobody can stop this…

*Allen asks about the issues with Geoff Steel, Gazzy and Dicey Reilly

Keane: All men that have already fallen at the feet of Revolution….tonight is about settling this once and for all and moving on to much bigger and better things….

TA: And what about Daniel Reilly’s contract situation? How will Revolution operate if you still choose to leave the company?

*Reilly steps forward

Reilly: If you want to speak to The King you address him directly, Allen….Daniel Reilly’s contract plans, Revolution’s plans are none of your business….you’ll do the same as everyone else and just sit back and watch greatness unfold…

TA: And what about a Born in Fire opponent for that title?

*Reilly holds up the EWF belt and smirks at his cohorts

Reilly: Only the two men standing here with me are near worthy to challenging for this….nobody else measures up….I’d say The King will be having a very quiet Born in Fire…

*Allen looks to Perfect Jack

TA: Any response, Jack, to Scott Harris challenge from earlier tonight….he wants to face you at Born in Fire for your title…

*All members of Revolution laugh at this

PJ: And what exactly has Scott Harris done to deserve that? Revolution is the greatest faction in pro wrestling, made up of the greatest talent in the business and we are done fighting worthless opposition….if Scott Harris or anyone else wants a shot at me and my title….they can earn it!

TA: Angus….obviously you have been announced as one of the participants in the Freshers Ball Ladder Match at Born in Fire….your thoughts?

*Oliver Keane closes his fist around Allen’s mic

Keane: Angus Plague doesn’t have “thoughts”….this man is about action…and he will prove that at Born in Fire when he lays waste to all the other “new era” talent…..nobody can match up to Angus Plague…..this man will dominate this industry….mark my words!

*Angus Plague suddenly reaches over and takes the mic from Keane

AP: Starting tonight….6CWF will feel my wrath….and rest assured, they will not forget!

*Revolution surround Allen like hyenas, intimidating the reporter, before Reilly signals for PJ and Angus Plague to follow him out of shot.

*Scene change and we see Gazzy heading up the walkway toward Tauron Arena. He is on his phone and is clearly in a rush.

Gazzy: I have no idea what happened, Christy….all my bookings were just cancelled, and my cards blocked….I couldn’t get here…I’ve literally just arrived, my match must be next..

*Gazzy suddenly stops dead as cloaked figures appear all around him

Gazzy: Christy, I need to go…no everything is fine, I’ll call you back….I love you, and Willow…

*Gazzy hangs up and he stares at the figures around him

Gazzy: You tell him from me, we’re done….I’m not doing this again…he can f…

*Suddenly one of the cloaks rushes Gazzy and tackles him to the concrete. Gazzy rolls on top and appears to be getting the upper hand when a second cloak kicks him in the side of the head. He staggers up and nails a roundhouse kick to one before grabbing the second by the head when a huge cloaked figure grabs him from behind and spins him, locking a hand around his throat. Gazzy tries to battle against the giant’s grip but he cannot budge him. Gazzy is suddenly lifted skywards and drilled into the pavement with a chokeslam. Gazzy is left unconscious as the cloaks walk away now, leaving him all alone as the rain begins to fall. We see his phone light up and a picture of himself, Christy and baby Willow.

“Christy calling”

Post by JJJohnson Wed 23 Oct 2024 - 15:59

The live feed of the show is interrupted by a vignette.

Voice over man talks over a heartbeat monitor showing a very slow heartbeat.

Voice: the history of 6CWF is long and complicated. A once mainstream company that has seen the highs and the lows of mainstream popularity.

*the heartbeat monitor starts to build up*

Voice: the recent re-emergence of the sleeping giant from its sleep has seen the company come back from its lowest nadir. But it still hasn't reached its potential.

*heartbeat gets faster*

Voice: fortunes are about to change. Nothing will ever be the same again. You are all going to be famous.

*the heartbeat stops. The letters HB fill the screen before fading and the camera zooming in to a figure smiling. The camera zooms in to a close up of his face.

Hugo: I will make you famous.

*the image of the heartbeat reappears over his smile and gets increasingly faster until it reaches its crescendo and an explosion covers the screen. It disappates to reveal the words "Coming SOON"

The words fade to reveal a link to the message

"Follow @HugoB on Instagram, X and YouTube."

Max Adamson: So this is your guy?

Damien Andrews: That's him.....Hugo is going to be a huge star...

*Max looks at Browning's face on the paused screen

Max: Looks like a douche...

Andrews: Looks can be deceiving....I assure you he is very much built for this business...some might say it's in his blood...

*Max frowns

Max: He's not mine?

*Andrews laughs

Andrews: Absolutely not...

Max: Yours?

*Andrews shakes his head

Andrews: I'm saying nothing....he debuts next week at the London show...."Survival Special".....Browning, Villain, Killbane versus Romero, Monk and Helms....

Max: I can work with that...

Andrews: Wager?

Max: Odds?

Andrews: Browning picks up the W...

*Max looks at the screen again

Max: No f***ing shot....£500?

*Andrews reaches over and shakes hands with Max

Andrews: Money in the bank....this boy here (he points at Hugo Browning's face again) is going to pay big dividends for 6CWF...

*The camera pans out to show Hugo Browning watching the live feed on his mobile phone, an arrogant smile on his face

HB: That's heading straight on TikTok and the 'Gram.....

*Browning stares at the camera now

HB: 6CWF....I'm going to make you famous.

*He flashes another grin as the scene ends

*Scene changes again and Rex Adamson is pacing back and forth in his dressing room when Jackson Jackson walks in.

Rex: Nothing?

*Jackson shakes his head

Rex: I don't like this one bit....I know Kent and Genesis, I know how they think....one soundbite from Jessica is not enough after what happened last week....what are they playing at?

*Jackson steps in front of Rex now

Jackson: Maybe, just maybe....you broke him?

*Rex stops now. He takes a deep breath and shakes his head

Rex: Broken or not....this isn't the Genesis way....there's something going on....

*Rex walks to the window now and stares out into the parking lot. The Genesis Express is nowhere to be seen

Main Event
Revolution vs Dicey Reilly/GazzyD/Geoff Steel

*It is main event time inside the Tauron and the crowd are on their feet for the arrival of the participants. The commentators confirm that the attack on Gazzy has left him out of this bout….

JT: So a handicap?

RJ: Looks that way…

JT: What happened to Gazzy was heinous….I hope he will be ok….

*Revolution arrive to huge boos. Reilly, Perfect Jack and Angus Plague enter the ring and ooze confidence as Reilly climbs onto the turnbuckle to pose with his title belt. Perfect Jack is handing his belt out to the timekeeper whilst Angus Plague remains standing in the middle, arms folded, and just staring at the entranceway. Dicey and Geoff Steel make separate entrances to huge ovations and they stare at one another on the stage (cue the tension) before “Figure it out” explodes through the speakers to a deafening pop

RJ: THEY FOUND A PARTNER!

JT: I’m sure Scott Harris didn’t take much convincing….

*Revolution look unhappy as Scott Harris joins Dicey and Steel on the stage. They all look at one another and then nod their heads as they rush to the ring and storm into a brawl with their opposition. Angus Plague looks for a huge clothesline on Dicey but he dodges it and then Dicey and Steel deliver a huge double clothesline to send him crashing over the top to the outside. Daniel Reilly tries to pounce on Steel for an “RKO” out of nowhere but he shoves him away and Dicey drops a shoulder to send him flying over the ropes and on top of Angus Plague.

Perfect Jack and Scott Harris go toe to toe and slug it out in centre ring. PJ lets loose with hard chops to the chest and looks for an Irish whip but Harris spins inside and he drags PJ into an overhead throw. Jack gets up and Harris takes him over with an armdrag and then looks to take him out with a codebreaker…Jack leans out and grabs Harris’ legs…

RJ: FIGURE FOUR…

*Harris boots PJ away and rolls back up. Jack comes forward and Harris takes him down with a drop toe hold and then grabs the European Champion’s legs…

JT: SHARPSHOOTER…

*PJ drags his leg free and kicks out at the injured face of Scott Harris, sending him falling into the corner. PJ gets up now and runs forward for a flying bodysplash but Harris sidesteps and sends Jack against the turnbuckle before nailing him with a hat-trick of German suplexes….

RJ: Who wouldn’t want to see this at Born in Fire?

JT: I’ve said before, sign me up…two of the absolute best in-ring technicians in the game….

*The cameras pan to outside of the ring as we see Angus Plague uncork a huge uppercut on Dicey Reilly to knock him down in the timekeeper’s area. Geoff Steel has Daniel Reilly on his shoulders and is looking to AA him through the announce desk but Angus Plague drops him with a huge boot to the face…

RJ: Angus Plague is fast becoming Revolution’s insurance policy…

JT: I think we have a star on our hands…

RJ: The “New Era” is delivering….

*In the ring and Scott Harris heads for the corner for the frogsplash on PJ when Angus Plague climbs onto the apron and rips his feet from under him. He grabs Harris and headbutts him in the side of the face before Jack gets back up. He gives AP the thumbs up before clambering onto the turnbuckle and delivers a huge superplex on Harris for a two count. PJ stands back up and he tags Plague in. Angus Plague throws Harris into the corner and smashes huge back elbows into his jaw before he whips him to the opposite corner with real venom. Harris slams into the turnbuckle and staggers out as Plague scoops him up…

RJ: PESTILENCE!

*Harris elbows his way free and drops off AP’s back. Plague spins and looks for a huge lariat but Harris dodges and explodes with a codebreaker out of nowhere, leaving both men completely flat on the canvass. Steel and Dicey have made their way over to the corner now and both teams are calling for the tag. AP sits up now and reaches his feet as Harris is trying to crawl across to his partners….

JT: Revolution don’t want Harris to bring someone fresher in…

*AP grabs Harris’ leg and drags him back to centre before landing a huge elbow drop to his spine. Angus stands again and he stomps on Harris’ back before tagging in Daniel Reilly. The world champ is quickly to the top rope and he clambers onto AP’s shoulders before dropping off with a varied frogsplash to Harris’ back…………………1………………….2……………Steel breaks the count. Reilly smirks at Steel and barks orders at the referee to keep Steel under control. Reilly rolls into stalk mode now as he waits for Harris to get to his feet…

RJ: Daniel Reilly made a very interesting point in his earlier interview…if he wins this match, who challenges him at Born in Fire? Because the list of available choices is diminishing…

JT: RKO!

*Harris counters the leaping cutter into a backslide for a two. Reilly is up in a flash and boots Harris in the gut before flipping him into a fallout neckbreaker. He tags PJ back in now and we hear him shout “Show him why he’s not good enough, Jack”. Jack immediately takes to the top rope now and drops an elbow into the chest of Harris for a near fall. Jack stomps at Harris’ injured face and then rags him up into position for the “Perfect Slam” but Harris drops over the back. He wraps his arms for a German but AP distracts the referee as Jack flicks his heel back into a low blow. Steel and Dicey complain but nobody sees it. Jack drills Harris with the “Perfect Slam” now and makes the cover but Harris grabs the bottom rope.

RJ: Jack found time to cheat but not time to do his due diligence….he’ll kick himself on that…

*Jack kneels and smashes punches and elbows into Harris’ face before making his way over and tags Angus Plague back in. They drag Harris up and then AP benches Harris up into a gutbuster across PJ’s knee. Harris drops onto all four as Plague stands over him and then drags him into place…

JT: DRAGONS….

*Harris slips under the ripcord lariat attempt and then nails a huge t-bone suplex…………….1……………..2……..AP powers out. They scramble up and Plague immediately drops Harris with a huge boot to the face. He leans over him now and grips him by the throat before hauling him off the deck….Harris kicks out at Plague’s gut to wind him and then runs off the ropes for more momentum but Reilly lashes a kick into Harris’ spine. AP clatters Harris from behind and then nails a tiger suplex for a two. Perfect Jack is tagged back in and he takes Harris out at knee height with a chopblock and then seizes his leg…

RJ: FIGURE FOUR!

*Harris grabs the back of PJ’s trunks and drags him down into a schoolboy for two. They both get back up and Jack ducks under Harris’ attack and looks for a German but Harris slams elbows into his jaw and then runs the ropes…

JT: KNEEDS MORE HARRIS!

*The audience roar in delight as Harris uncorks with the flying knee strike to the face of his foe, however, he has used too much energy to capitalise and remains slumped on the mat. The crowd urge Harris on as he manages to crawl his way across the canvass and he reaches out before succeeding in tagging in Geoff Steel (was that a grimace from Dicey?)…..Steel races in just as Reilly tags in from PJ. Reilly looks for a clothesline but Steel avoids it and nails a huge spinebuster on the EWF Champion. Reilly flails with a right hand as he stands and Steel avoids it…

RJ: BLUE THUNDER BOMB!

*Steel gets a two count off the bomb as some of the fans hold their heads in hands. Steel beckons Reilly up now and looks for a spear but Reilly leapfrogs and sends him clattering the turnbuckle. Steel staggers around into a spinning powerslam (ala Randy Orton) and a leaping kneedrop to the face. He hauls Steel to his feet for a vertical suplex but Steel drops over the side and nails a huge release full nelson slam. Steel looks to the audience and they roar in prompt…

RJ: Geoff Steel is going airborne here…

*Angus Plague is looking to cause issues but Dicey spots him and drops down. Dicey rips AP off the apron, causing him to smash his head, and then spins him around and smashes his face off the steel steps. PJ looks down at Dicey…

JT: Dicey would love some retribution on Perfect Jack…

RJ: Ain’t that the truth…

*Steel is on the top rope and flies through the air before exploding with a headbutt to the chest of Daniel Reilly. He covers and PJ storms the ring to break it up. Dicey rolls in to come to Steel’s aid and looks for a clothesline on Jack but he sidesteps…

JT: HE CLOCKED STEEL!!!

*Jack quickly dumps Dicey over the top rope with a variation on the “Perfect Slam” as Daniel Reilly drags Steel back through the ropes (Dicey’s clothesline sent him to the apron) and nails him with a hangman’s DDT from the middle…………………1……………..2………….Steel pops his shoulder. Reilly spits in angst and then goes in search of the RKO. Steel staggers up and Reilly pounces but he’s pushed away and Steel rips through him with a running spear. Steel drops an arm on the chest of Reilly now…
..
….1
..
……..2
..
……….Angus Plague drags Geoff Steel under the bottom rope and lifts him into a spinning chokeslam, lashing him ontop of the announce table…

RJ: THE TABLE DIDN’T BREAK!

JT: I think that made it worse for Steel…

*Steel is left draped across the table as Scott Harris runs along the apron now and dives off with a cannonball splash (ala Kurt Angle) that takes himself and Angus Plague flying over the announce desks now. Dicey rolls back in the ring now and he grabs a groggy Daniel Reilly by the head and hoists him up…

RJ: Dicey isn’t legal here…

JT: That won’t stop him going after Daniel Reilly….

*Dicey is preparing for the “Craicdown” when PJ slams through the injured knee of Dicey, taking him down. He stomps all over his rival now and looks to apply the figure four on him in the middle of the ring…

RJ: This is where it all started with Dicey’s injury…

*The crowd are booing as PJ leans right back into the submission and really cranks up the pressure. Dicey is yelling in agony…

JT: Neither man is legal so this won’t finish proceedings…it can’t….

RJ: It might finish Dicey Reilly….

JT: MOONSAULT!!!

*The crowd are stunned as Scott Harris has scaled the ropes again and launches himself into an amazing moonsault across Perfect Jack’s chest to break up the submission (proper Perc Angle era now for Scott Harris)….Harris gets back up and all eyes are on Perfect Jack…

RJ: RKO!

*Daniel Reilly dives from out of shot and he drills Harris into the mat. Harris, however, isn’t legal so no pin can be made. Reilly sees PJ staggering up and Jack indicates he wants to tag in and finish off Scott Harris….

JT: PJ wants to teach Harris a lesson…

RJ: Harris still isn’t legal…

JT: I don’t think Jack cares…

*Jack circles Scott Harris now and then he drags him into position for the “Perfect Plex” but Harris swivels out and then swipes PJ’s legs for the sharpshooter. PJ thrashes from side to side and succeeds in throwing Harris across the mat. They scramble up and PJ sidesteps and sends Harris into the corner before chasing in but Harris slams a back elbow into his jaw…..Jack staggers back, holding his face, as Harris gears up…

RJ: He wants the knee again…

*Angus Plague is back up on the outside and he grabs Scott Harris’ boot and is looking to drag him under when Geoff Steel does a lap of the ring and crashes through AP with a giant spear on the arena floor…

JT: I have no idea how Geoff is even up after what Plague did to him….

RJ: He’s Xtreme Champion for that very reason…

Steel rolls in the ring now and he indicates to Harris that he should get on the apron so he can tag in and take the “W” over PJ. Harris does so, quickly, and repositions for the “Kneeds More Harris”…..

JT: REF TOOK THE KNOCK!!!

*Jack throws the official in the way and Harris clatters him with the flying knee. PJ quickly pounces for the “Perfect Plex” but nobody is there to count. He rolls from the ring now and grabs his championship belt before sliding back in. Scott Harris is groggy as PJ beckons him around and swings the belt at him….

RJ: SHARPSHOOTER!

*Harris ducks and takes PJ down before applying the submission. The crowd go wild as Jack taps out but still no referee can make the call. Geoff Steel is indicating for another referee when Daniel Reilly pulls him off the apron and looks for an “RKO”….

JT: CRAICDOWN!

*Steel pushes Reilly away and Dicey is there to deliver the huge cradled piledriver on the arena floor. Reilly is left looking up at the stars as Steel and Dicey walk toward one another now…

RJ: Are they gonna fight?

JT: Steel didn’t appreciate that clothesline earlier…

*The two fan favourites square up and trade words but then Angus Plague clatters them both with a huge double clothesline. He smashes Steel’s head off the announce table and then Dicey suffers the same fate….

RJ: Angus Plague is dominating two of the very best….

JT: One hell of a statement from the newcomer…

RJ: Oliver Keane told us about this man…

*AP has evil intentions for Dicey now but Geoff Steel grabs a steel chair….CRACK!...Plague takes a mega chairshot to the skull and it dazes him, wobbling him off balance….Steel looks at Dicey now and we hear him shout “We deal with this s**t first”….Dicey glares but then nods….

JT: DOUBLE SUPLEX!

*The audience go wild as the double suplex is delivered on Angus Plague and obliterates him through the announce desk. Geoff Steel and Dicey sit on the arena floor and stare at one another as we head back to the ring. Scott Harris is trying to revive the referee as PJ grabs the European belt and nails Harris right between the eyes as he turns around…

RJ: We’ve got a new ref….Jack is stealing this….

JT: Revolution promised they’d reign supreme!

*The referee flies under the bottom rope………………1……………….2…………HARRIS KICKS OUT! The audience are going wild and Jack cannot believe it. He eyeballs the new ref and then looks at the Euro belt again….the new official kicks the belt from the ring and PJ looks angered before heading back to Scott Harris and grabs his legs…

RJ: FIGURE…..GOT HIM!

*Shock registers on Jack’s face as Harris drags him into a small package for the surprise three. Harris rolls from the ring with a fist pump as Jack complains to the referee. Dicey and Steel join up with Harris now and pat him on the back as the commentators hype the main event and what ramifications may follow.

JT: Scott Harris has to be in line for that European Championship shot now, surely?

RJ: I wouldn’t argue it….and by that token what about Daniel Reilly’s EWF belt…his team lost…

JT: Big calls for management to make….

RJ: Only one more stop until Born in Fire….they better make it soon….

JT: Folks we are hearing this is some kind of incident backstage…

*Backstage and the camera view comes from the floor. We cannot see what is happening but there is a groaning noise and then the sound of whistling becomes prominent. "Twisted nerve" (from Kill Bill) is the tune that can be heard and slowly the camera starts to rise and we are backstage in the cavernous lobby area of the Tauron Arena. Every single member of staff has stopped what they are doing....talent too.....the whistling continues amidst the groaning whilst the camera continues to move.

Slowly, the angle of the camera pans outward to give us a better view of the scene we are witnessing. There is a deep red streak of blood along the floor as it becomes apparent that someone has been dragged along it. Now we see Eddy Kent, sledgehammer in hand, and he finally releases the ankle of Jackson Jackson. Jackson is motionless on the deck, his groaning has stopped, as blood slowly drips from the end of the hammer in Kent's hands.
