6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*Trevor Abraham (VIP Promotions President) is opening up tonight’s show to address what has been happening here recently. Due to multiple attacks on authority figures as well as Christy James’ pregnancy he has decided to take control. Clarke James immediately interrupts. He wants to commend Abraham on seizing the initiative but once again he is here to tell him the same thing he told Alex Walker and that is not to fall into the same traps as his predecessors.
Abraham stands his ground, however, and will not be bullied into any decision making. He knows Clarke James wants to be world champion but just like everyone else on the roster he will have to prove he deserves it. CJ has a dangerous look in his eye and everyone is anticipating another attack but here is Cody Walker and he is all over Clarke James in a fury we have never seen before.
Clarke James is trying to fight back but Cody Walker destroys him. The fight goes up onto the stage and he springs off the entrance structure with a disaster kick that leaves CJ sprawled across the desk. The audience are in wild disbelief as Cody Walker scales the titantron structure and he launches off with a “coffin drop” from twenty feet that destroys himself and Clarke James through the table.
Medics are called immediately to tend to both men as Trevor Abraham’s first night in charge has started in explosive fashion. The commentators talk about how young Cody Walker has tries to avenge his father by decimating Clarke James in the most brutal of fashions.
*Backstage and Mike Hill & Rex Adamson are preparing for the upcoming tag team bout. Rex is all kinds of fired up and wants revenge on Jerome Dubois. Mike Hill is fully on board with Rex and says he has his own issues to settle with both Dubois and Cassidy. It is clear both men are on the same page and out for blood.
*Jerome Dubois is interviewed about why he did what he did. He reiterates that Rex Adamson is not fit to wear the 6CW Championship and, quite simply, is not on his level. Dubois is promising to follow that up tonight. Cassidy joins him now and he hints at his “inspiration” making an appearance here tonight.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
Bout 1
Mike Hill/Rex Adamson vs Cassidy/Jerome Dubois
Mike Hill/Rex Adamson vs Cassidy/Jerome Dubois
*Opening bout of the night and we get a huge recap on the end of last week’s show where Jerome Dubois cost Rex Adamson the 6CW World Championship. We return to ringside and Cassidy has arrived. He is basking in the boos from the audience as we are reminded of Cassidy’s attack on Mike Hill last week.
*Jerome Dubois is next out and is met by a torrent of abuse. He seems to grow stronger from the reception and smiles widely, twirling in his “6CW” robe. He struts to ringside and climbs up inside. We are now reminded of the “partnership” that seems to have developed between the two men in the ring. JT wonders who exactly has put these two men together.
*Mike Hill is next out and he is ready for a fight. He waits on the stage, eyes fixed on his opponents, before “Renegades of Funk” blasts out and there is a huge ovation for Rex Adamson. Both men storm to ringside and the audience are going wild as Rex blocks a shot from Dubois and begins to unload with huge right hands. Mike Hill dodges a clothesline from Cassidy and then pulls down the ropes and sends him over the top as Cassidy rushes at him again. Hill catapults himself over with a crossbody takedown on the outside.
*Hill drags Cassidy to the announce area and bounces his head off the top of the “Social Media” table before he whips him into the steel steps with impact. In the ring and Rex whips Dubois to the corner and then launches him skyward with a huge backdrop. Dubois staggers up and Rex body presses him overhead. Cassidy is just stumbling on the outside as Rex throws Dubois over the top rope and he crashes down on top of his partner.
*Hill chucks Cassidy in the ring now and he eats a huge belly to belly slam from Rex Adamson. Rex tags in Hill now and we have some sort of semblance of normality. Hill planchas over the top rope into a splash and then pulls Cassidy up into a snap suplex for a two count. Hill rakes his boot at Cassidy’s face before pulling him up and whips him to the corner. He chases in but eats a boot to the face that knocks him back. Cassidy runs out for a “Sins of our father” spear but Hill counters with a “hillcanrana”. They get back up and Hill nails a step-up enzeguiri and follows up with a northern lights suplex for a two count.
*Hill heads to the corner but Dubois grabs his boot to prevent him jumping. Rex Adamson tears across the ring but the referee gets in the way to stop him. Adamson is raging as Cassidy is able to get back up and dropkick Hill’s feet, crotching on the top rope. Cassidy turns Hill’s body and drags him off the ropes into a neckbreaker for a nearfall.
*Cassidy pulls Hill up and he suplexes him into the turnbuckle before tagging in Dubois. Dubois stomps at Hill repeatedly before turning to mock Rex. Adamson tries to storm the ring again but the referee holds him back which allows Cassidy to pull Hill from the ring and launch him into the ringside barrier before throwing him back inside. Dubois places Hill in an abdominal stretch for a few moments but Hill is able to twist free and slam his knee up into Dubois’ face. He runs the ropes for more momentum but returns into a huge spinebuster. Dubois tags Cassidy back in and he waits for Hill to rise before nailing a flying overhang neckbreaker off the top rope for a two count.
*Cassidy mocks Hill and then pulls him into an attempted fisherman’s DDT but Hill battles free and staggers away. Cassidy runs at him but Hill sidesteps and sends him against the turnbuckle before nailing a pele kick for good measure. He lifts Cassidy high and this time is successful with a top rope hurricanrana. Cassidy stumbles back up and Hill lifts him into an inverted atomic drop and a spinning heel kick. He runs the ropes and nails a lionsault but Dubois breaks the cover. Rex breaks in again and this time he is able to land a huge right hand on Dubois’ jaw before the referee can intervene. Rex wants more but the official warns him
*Hill sees the opportunity for “Over the Hill” but Cassidy pushes him to the ropes and Dubois guillotines him across the top. Cassidy hits the “Idolatry” (Zigzag neckbreaker) but Hill manages to kick out on two. Cassidy signals he is looking for the “Heavenly Hosts” (RKO) but Hill counters into a backslide for two. They scramble up and Hill drop toe holds Cassidy before seizing his legs and he turns him into the “MHND” (liontamer). Cassidy screams in pain but Dubois levels Hill with a lariat to the back of the neck to break it up.
*Rex has seen enough this time and he takes Dubois off of his feet with a huge tackle and begins to rain down huge punches. He drags him up and launches him through the ropes before following him. The referee aims to go after them as Rex makes sure to bounce Dubois’ head off all three announce tables before he scoops him into a bearhug position and slams him back into the ringpost before he nails a huge “Biel” style throw across the steel steps, leaving Dubois writhing in agony.
*The referee is warning Rex on the outside as the fight continues inside the ring as well. Cassidy is back up and on the attack with a slingshot (from the apron) into a rolling dropkick that sends Hill clattering back in the corner. Hill staggers out and Cassidy nails a inverted leaping STO but the referee is tied up with the fight on the outside. Cassidy yells at Hill to stand and looks for the “Purification” (Judas Effect elbow) but Hill dodges it again and swipes Cassidy’s feet for the “MHND”. Cassidy is tapping furiously but still the referee is distracted.
*On the outside Dubois manages to poke Rex in the eyes and he sends him clattering into the steel steps. Dubois quickly rolls back in the ring and takes Hill out with the “French Connection” spear to break the submission. He stomps and beats on Hill before dragging him up and he nails the “Go Flasher” (suplex into front slam). He is trying to revive Cassidy now but Rex drags him back out the ring and overhead belly to belly suplexes him over the barricade into the crowd, sparking a huge reaction from the audience.
*Rex is in no mood to play around as he prepares to follow Dubois into the crowd. Dubois grabs a drink from a fan and throws it in Adamson’s face before grabbing his wrist and he pulls him forward into the “Au Revoir” across a stack of chairs. The referee is in the audience now and trying to urge both men to come back ringside.
*In the ring and Cassidy has staggered to his feet and looks gleeful to see Hill in a bad way. He circles around him and then, as he stands, runs in for the “Divine Comedy” (codebreaker) but Hill catches his legs and drops him on his back before catapulting him into the turnbuckle. Cassidy’s head hits hard and he staggers back around as Hill leaps into him and lands the “Over the Hill”. He has the cover but the referee is nowhere to be seen.
*Hill makes his way over to the ropes and is yelling at the referee to come back in the ring. Meanwhile someone has come from backstage and rolled a weapon to Cassidy. Rex and Dubois’ fight has resumed and they begin to battle toward the backstage area as the referee gives up and decides to head back for the ring. Hill nods his head and turns back toward his opponent but Cassidy drives the “cattle prod” into the solar plexus of Hill, doubling him up. He throws the weapon from the ring now and nails the “Purification” (Judas Effect elbow) as the referee returns and counts the three.
*The crowd are booing furiously as Miss Jessica climbs into the ring to raise Cassidy’s arm in victory. Nobody can quite believe it but it seems the former pairing of Jessica/Scorpion has been reunited here in 6CWF. RJ mentions that Jessica led Cassidy to his most successful stage of his career and clearly he believes she can do even better this time around. JT is concerned that having Jessica Lawless back in 6CWF spells real danger for many. Cassidy is positively gleeful at Jessica’s presence and his victory over Mike Hill.
*We get a shot of Rex Adamson smashing Jerome Dubois’ head into a solid wall underneath one of the stands before launching him through a door into the backstage area, the commentators inform us that the cameras will follow the action but it seems as though Rex has snapped here.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*Immediately backstage and Rex Adamson is pummelling Jerome Dubois. He drags the Frenchmen up and explodes with a huge belly to belly throw which sends him crashing through a glass window. Dubois is left decimated amidst the broken shards. Trevor Abraham is here with security and he is sending Rex home. Rex looks ready to go wild but Max Adamson appears and assures his nephew he will fight his corner. Rex leaves and Max wants a decision made on the “Key to the Kingdom”. Abraham says a decision will be made before the Destiny PLE.
*Cameron Faith is stretching as a stagehand informs him that Clarke James won’t be able to compete in their match (he’s been taken to the hospital) but he was told to inform Faith that he will still have a match here tonight. Faith looks ready to go.
*Christy and Gazzy are in the dressing room when Uryu walks in. Uryu wants it clear that tonight he faces Edward Plague alone. Gazzy seems reluctant and so does Christy but the 6CW Champion is adamant that he face “the demon” on his own terms and that is why he requested this steel cage match because he and Plague have a score to settle without any outside interference.
*Trevor Abraham is on the phone and he is talking about restoring order in 6CWF and making sure “chaos does not descend”. Miss Jessica is listening at the door and has an evil smile on her face.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
Bout 2
Cameron Faith vs ???
Cameron Faith vs ???
*Cameron Faith heads out to ringside as JT and RJ confirm that Clarke James will no longer be competing in this match due to the injuries sustained during the fight with Cody Walker. Faith, however, has been informed that he will still required to compete here tonight against an unnamed opponent.
*James McManus is revealed as the opponent and he strides out onto the stage. He and Faith stare at one another before Blue Dragon comes through the crowd and clatters Faith from behind. He launches him against the turnbuckle and lands a sickening punch to the ribs with his “Gauntlet” glove before following up with an uppercut that could easily have broken the jaw.
*Dragon isn’t done however and he rolls from the ring and retrieves a light-tube from under the apron. He return and lashes it across Faith’s spine, shattering the weapon, leaving him with blood dripping from the wounds on his back. The referee gets in Blue Dragon’s face and is ordering him to leave ringside immediately. Dragon looks mildly amused as he kneels next to Faith and can be heard telling him that this is only an ounce of what he is going to suffer at Destiny. Dragon thinks about continuing his assault but instead he rolls from the ring, passing James McManus in the aisleway.
*The referee doesn’t want the match to proceed but it is clear that McManus is hell bent on getting a victory. Faith uses the referee’s shirt to pull himself up and he is indicating he wants to go which prompts a reluctant signal for the bell.
*McManus storms over and he attacks Faith, forcing him back to the corner where he unloads with brutal stomps to the gut and furious forearm strikes. The referee backs McManus away and he warns him that he will be disqualified.
*McManus shrugs past the referee as Faith dives out of nowhere for the superkick but McManus ducks it at the very final moment and then he scoops Faith up on his shoulders and drills him with a death valley driver. Faith is all over the shop as McManus runs into him with a “knee trembler” to the temple and then he drags him back up and scores with the “River Wensum Plunge” to give him the three count.
*The commentators remark on McManus building a head of steam as he chases championship opportunities but note the massive assist tonight from Blue Dragon. JT doesn’t believe it would be wise for Faith to accept BD’s challenge at Destiny but RJ is adamant that nothing will keep Faith away from that contest. The referee signals that he wants the ringside doctor to come in and check on Faith whilst McManus continues to celebrate his victory.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*Jerome Dubois/Cassidy and Miss Jessica are in the back celebrating their win. Dubois is clearly hurt from Rex’s attack but is in great spirits with an arm around Jessica. Miss Jessica is telling Cassidy that she always believed in him and he is adamant she will lead him to the top. Dubois calls Jack Reynolds over and he is demanding to be next in line for a world title shot. Mike Hill suddenly rushes in and attacks Cassidy but Dubois comes to the aid and they beat Hill down. He is driven into the wall, head first, and then Cassidy punts him in the head. All three laugh as they stare down at Hill and then walk away.
*James McManus snatches a mic out of Clarissa’s hand and he wants to be heard. He has had over 75% victory rate since returning to 6CWF and he wants that turned into a championship opportunity. He doesn’t believe anyone deserves it more than he does. O’Callaghan interrupts and he thinks McManus has had plenty of chances over the years and has never even come close to the big time. There is plenty of tension between the two men.
*Engel Harlequin wants Liam Wood to prepare himself for what is coming. He is promising to bring out the “real Liam Wood” by any means necessary. He says “the game is afoot” and cackles to himself.
*A battered and beat up Cameron Faith has a message for Blue Dragon and that is that he accepts a fight at Destiny. Faith admits he doesn’t know if he will walk away with his hand held high but what he does know is that Blue Dragon won’t walk away at all.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
Bout 3
Engel Harlequin vs O’Callaghan
Engel Harlequin vs O’Callaghan
*Back to ringside and O’Callaghan is in the midst of conducting the audience in the singing of his theme tune. He is as loud and brash as ever, despite a poor run of form, and JT believes the “Golden One” is one big win away from reigniting his career and pushing into the upper echelons of 6CWF. RJ is less than convinced and thinks OC is enjoying the “high life” and doesn’t see the same dedication as years gone by. Both commentators agree he will need his focus here this evening against an unorthodox, dangerous, opponent.
*Engel Harlequin arrives and looks as sinister as ever. He merely marches to the ring and watches O’Callaghan, his head twitching from side to side, before he rolls in under the bottom rope. The referee talks with both men before they engage in a lockup to begin proceedings. O’Callaghan twists the right arm of Engel but has his eyes raked before Harlequin shoots with fierce snap jabs to the face. He grabs O’Callaghan and whips him off the ropes before dropping him with a running knee lift to the gut. Engel applies a seated chinlock.
*OC battles to his feet and he fights free before running the ropes but returns into a sleeper hold. Engel is trying to slow the pace right down but OC steps into his opponent and lifts him into a big back suplex to break his grip. They battle back up and O’Callaghan lands a hard kick to the gut before looking for a vertical suplex but Engel floats over the back and then launches his opponent into the turnbuckle. OC staggers back around and Harlequin lifts him into an inverted atomic drop before running the ropes and returns with a neckbreaker for a two count.
*Engel stomps on OC’s hands and then grabs them to manipulate the finger joints. OC is able to get onto his feet and he stomps at the kneecap of Engel before whipping him to the corner. He follows in but eats two feet into the face. Harlequin lifts himself onto the second rope but OC grabs his feet and launches him back off the turnbuckle, causing the back of his head to snap off the canvass. OC drags him up into a fisherman’s suplex but Engel kicks out on two.
*Harlequin struggles up as OC lashes a kick into the back of his knee before scooping him into the air for a kneebreaker but Engel claws at his face until he releases. Engel then nails a release German that slams OC back into the turnbuckle and follows in with a brutal shining wizard to the face but the Irishman just manages to kick out.
*Engel wants the “Self Fulfilling Prophecy” (Sister Abigail) but OC headbutts his way free and then he succeeds in drop toe holding Harlequin across the ropes. The crowd cheer as OC lands the 619 but his attempted springboard 360 splash lands him across the knees of his opponent. Engel rolls him over into a choke on the canvass. OC looks to have faded out but somehow reaches the ropes with his boot and forces a break.
*Engel stomps furiously on any part of the body he can reach until OC is forced from the ring. The referee tries to warn Harlequin about his conduct but he doesn’t seem interested. He lands a baseball slide that sends O’Callaghan into the announce desks. He rolls out and clatters the Irishman’s head off the top before he attempts a whip to the steps but OC reverses and Engel is left in a heap.
*OC drags Engel up and he suplexes him into the ringside barrier before leaving him in a heap and heads back for the ring. The referee’s count reaches seven as Engel pulls himself back up on the apron. OC looks to suplex him back in but Engel drops him in a guillotine across the ropes. Harlequin goes high and comes off with a crossbody but OC rolls through and gets a nearfall.
*OC is quickly up and grabs Engel by the hair but is dragged backward and slams, face-first, into the turnbuckle. Engel struggles up and he nails a sickening half nelson suplex, dumping OC on the back of his neck, but once again O’Callaghan shows the resilience to kick out.
*Engel circles for the rear naked choke but OC manages to throw him off. They scramble back up and OC ducks a clothesline before snapping off a hat-trick of German suplexes. He heads for the corner now and wants a frogsplash but Engel moves at the final second. OC is doubled up, holding his ribs, as Harlequin rolls from the ring. The referee is checking on OC, who is trying to catch his breath, as Liam Wood comes from the side and smashes Engel in the head with one of the announce monitors, sending him over the railings into the crowd.
*The referee seems happy with OC’s condition and then looks out to check on Engel but cannot see him. He counts the ten and the Irishman picks up the victory. Wood is looking pleased but suddenly Engel rises behind him and grabs him by the head and hauls him over the barricade into the crowd. Now the two men are battling through the crowd and into the upper stands. They find themselves over one of the fan entrances to the stand and Engel is hammering Wood back toward the railing. He smashes his head against the metal and then backs away but when he runs in he is backdropped over the railing and falls around ten feet onto the solid concrete below.
*There is concern for Engel’s condition but slowly he starts shuffling around and it is clear he is laughing. Wood makes his way down the steps to join him and Engel begins to goad him, telling him “finish the job”. Engel has blood trickling from his mouth and the side of his head. Wood is clearly weighing up his options as a security team walk out from the entrance to ensure there is no more violence. Engel is yelling at Wood that “You don’t have what it takes….not yet, but you will”…..he continues to laugh as he sags against the wall. Wood is led away by security as the commentators anticipate “something bad is in the offing”.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*We get an announcement that O’Callaghan/James McManus and Geoff Steel will compete in a triple threat match next week for the #1 Contendership (European Championship). We then get an official announcement for Clarke James vs Cody Walker at Destiny.
*A visibly distressed Liam Wood is in front of the cameras and he is making it known that he wants Engel Harlequin one on one at Destiny. Wood is sick and tired of all the run arounds. He knows Engel wants a fight so he’s happy to oblige. But he wants “the clown” to know that what happened earlier tonight is but a modicum of what is coming. Wood says he “don’t need the darkness” to do what is necessary.
*We see Eddy Kent and Michael Sweetwater arriving at the arena. Kent looks as smug as ever and the commentators tell us that “Daddy” is dedicating tonight’s match to Alex Walker.
*GazzyD hears the tinkling of music and the humming of “He’s got the whole world in his hands”. He turns and sees Edward Plague smiling at him. Gazzy prepares to fight but Plague assures him that isn’t why he is here. He wants Gazzy to know that everything he is doing, including what must be done tonight, he is doing for Gazzy’s benefit. “This is all for you, my friend”.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
Bout 4
Eddy Kent vs Geoff Steel
Eddy Kent vs Geoff Steel
*Geoff Steel is still bandaged up but receives a hero’s welcome as he arrives at ringside. He raises a hand in appreciation of the support he is receiving as he makes his way to ringside. The commentators talk about how Steel is still healing from his wars with Blue Dragon. RJ doesn’t think it is wise to see Steel competing but JT refers to him as a “warrior”. They touch upon the history between the two men in tonight’s match which goes back 12 years when Genesis first reared its head in 6CW.
*Eddy Kent arrives and there is a huge procession of pyros, confetti and ticker tape. He plays to the cameras as he points at his t-shirt which reads “DADDY”. Michael Sweetwater swaggers out to his side and the commentators don’t like Steel’s chances of a fair fight this evening.
*Kent and Steel stare each other down for a few moments before the bell sounds. Kent tries to get up in Steel’s face but takes a hard headbutt to the nose. Steel follows up with right hands and an Irish whip before sending the world champion into a huge backdrop as he returns. Kent staggers up and Steel clotheslines him over the top rope, sparking cheers from the audience. Sweetwater rushes to Kent’s side.
*Kent rolls back in and he feints for a lockup before booting at Steel’s injured body. He nails a European uppercut and then whips Steel to the ropes and follows him, driving a vicious knee into his midsection (ala Val Venis). He repeats the process on the opposite ropes before landing a snap suplex for a two count. Kent stomps at the back of Steel and then backs to the corner. He lifts himself onto the second rope and comes off with an axe handle to the spine before he runs the ropes and lands a hard kick to the side of the head for another nearfall.
*Kent bickers with the official which provides a distraction for Sweetwater to choke Steel on the blindside. Kent pulls his opponent up and whips him to the corner before following in for a splash but eats a big time back elbow to the jaw. Steel rushes out for a clothesline but Kent ducks and goes back to the body with another stomp before landing a spiked DDT for a two.
*Kent sets for the “Mic Check” but Steel batters his way free and then he swipes the legs of the world champion. Steel looks for the “Steelworks” but Kent kicks out at the ribs until he releases. Kent distracts the referee again as Sweetwater jumps onto the apron and guillotines Steel across the ropes. Kent then follows up with a fireman’s lift into a gutbuster (Genshin) for a two. Steel rolls into a seated position and Kent lashes a kick into his spine before running the ropes for a big boot but Steel ducks and rolls him up for a close call.
*They scramble up and Kent flapjacks Steel’s injured ribs off the ropes and then drags him into a Russian legsweep. He heads for the corner now and wants the “Kent Bomb” but Steel is already up and lands a huge right hand. He climbs up to join and attempts a superplex but Sweetwater is holding Kent’s legs from the outside to prevent the lift. The referee cottons on and gives Sweetwater a final warning. Kent is able to hook punches at Steel’s body and launches him off the ropes. He lands the “Kent Bomb” now but Steel kicks out.
*The commentators praise Steel’s resilience but fear he is taking a lot of damage here. Kent sets for the “Genesis Kick” but Steel dodges at the final moment and counters with a huge release full nelson slam. He staggers into the ropes and waits for Kent to rise before nailing a spear for a two count. Steel heads for the ropes and seems to be setting for a flying headbutt but Sweetwater distracts the official and it allows Kent to crotch Steel up high. The 6WF Champion climbs up and nails a superplex for a two count.
*Kent seems to be looking for the “Kentlock” but Steel rushes him back into the corner and explodes with multiple shoulder thrusts. He whips Kent to the opposite turnbuckle and then kicks him in the gut as he walks out. Steel sets for the “Bladecutter” but Kent backdrops him over the ropes to the outside. The referee is distracted by the world champion again as Sweetwater charges Steel into the ringside barrier and then the ring apron before throwing him back inside. Kent covers but Steel kicks out.
*Kent wants the “Genesis Kick” again but Steel moves and Sweetwater takes it, sending him flying off the apron. Steel with the rollup but it’s only a two. They get back up and Kent runs the ropes but returns into a huge spinebuster. Steel climbs high now and he nails the flying headbutt. He’s hurting but manages to crawl across to cover, Kent kicks out!
*Steel looks for the “Bladecutter” again but Kent swipes his legs and stomps on his body. He catapults Steel into the corner and then spins him around for the “Mic Check” but Steel headbutts his way free. Kent chases in to the corner but Steel sidesteps and sends him against the turnbuckle before scooping him up. He looks for the “Attitude Adjustment” but Kent scrambles free and launches him out of the ring.
*Kent is arguing with the official again, looking to distract him, as Sweetwater gets back up now and he slams Steel, rib first, into the steps. He then climbs on the barrier and is looking for the “six feet deep” foot stomp but Steel moves at the final second. Sweetwater rolls back up and runs at Steel but is scooped onto his shoulders and “Attitude Adjusted” through the “Spanish” announce desk as the crowd go wild.
*Steel rolls back in the ring now as Kent storms at him but he ducks and swipes his legs, applying the “Steelworks”. The world champion is forced to endure over a minute in the hold before he reaches the ropes. Steel looks disappointed but drags Kent up for the “Bladecutter” only to be countered with a backdrop. Kent stumbles to the corner for a rest as Steel rushes in and drives against him with a splash. He lifts Kent on the ropes and looks for a superplex but Kent lands a brutal headbutt to the injured ribs. He then scoops Steel on his shoulders and nails a devastating top rope rolling fireman’s carry.
*It is clear Steel’s body is causing him great difficulty as he staggers up and eats the “Genesis kick” for the three count. The commentators pay homage to Steel’s performance but he just didn’t have enough to overcome the world champion. Kent poses with his championship and he wants a mic. He’s telling Scott Harris that the Iron Man match is on but Harris could have “an entire lifetime on the clock” and he’ll never be able to take the 6WF World Heavyweight Championship from “The Daddy of 6CWF”. Kent rolls out and helps Sweetwater up as the commentators hype the monumental clash at Destiny.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*We get a trash talking match between Daniel and Dicey Reilly ahead of tonight’s showdown. The two veteran rivals are adamant they will walk out of here tonight with the victory. Daniel Reilly is insistent that Dicey “doesn’t have what it takes anymore”.
*Trevor Abraham is talking with Christy James. He still wants her input “as a stakeholder” but reiterates that he wants to keep her safe given what has happened to others and due to her pregnancy. Christy believes JJ & Brandi will be back but Abraham isn’t so sure and he talks about them “potentially not holding all the card anymore” which raises Christy’s suspicions. Abraham says they must come together for the “Good of 6CWF” because “outside forces are making moves”.
*Emmy is in the women’s bathroom. She looks worried and is joined by Miss Jessica. Jessica tells her she should “enjoy the darkside of your man” and says “that’s where the fun starts” but Emmy tells her to “mind her own business. Jessica laughs and leaves. Emmy runs the taps as the door opens again and she readies to give Jessica a piece of her mind but it is Engel and he grabs her, placing something over her face. Emmy passes out as Engel lifts her up and carries her out of the room.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
Bout 5
Daniel Reilly vs Dicey Reilly
Daniel Reilly vs Dicey Reilly
*There is major hype for the next contest as the commentators take us on a trip down memory lane for the history between Dicey and Daniel Reilly, stemming all the way back to 2009. Reilly is booed out of the building as he arrives with Oliver Keane by his side. He holds up the European Championship and soaks up the atmosphere with an arrogant smile.
*Dicey is afforded a hero’s welcome as he storms out to ringside. We get a recap on the Dicey/Helms feud and the hype toward their “Street fight” at Destiny. Dicey looks all pumped up as he clambers into the ring and exchanges words with his opponent. The referee gives both men a stern talking to before he signals for the bell to get the action underway.
*There is a lot of trash talk and then Oliver Keane feints to leap in the ring which distracts long enough for Daniel to clatter Dicey from behind. He backs him in the corner and stomps at the midsection before unloading with chops and a European uppercut. He whips Dicey to the opposite corner but Dicey explodes back out with a huge clothesline.
*Daniel staggers up and Dicey whips him off the ropes before dropping him with a heavy boot to the face. He looks for a Hogan legdrop but Daniel moves and quickly grabs Dicey’s ankle. He looks for the submission but Dicey twists free and kicks his foe away. Daniel runs back in but is lifted into a Samoan drop for a two count.
*Dicey prepares for a jackhammer but Daniel floats over the back and counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker. He heads for the corner and attempts a frogsplash but Dicey drives his knees up just in time. Dicey scoops Daniel on his back and nails “White Noise” for another two.
*Dicey signals for the “Craicdown” but Keane distracts the ref and it allows Daniel to nail a low blow. He rolls Dicey up and grabs the trunks but the referee spots the infringement and breaks the count. Daniel Reilly looks annoyed before attempting the “RKO” but Dicey counters into a “blue thunder bomb” for a two.
*They battle outside the ring now as Daniel Reilly attempts to grab a respite. Dicey slams his head off the announce desks and then looks to whip him into the steel steps but Keane stands in the way. Dicey threatens him and he backs off but it allows Daniel to land a fierce kick to the gut. He lifts Dicey into a back suplex and then drops him backward across the corner of the table, leaving him writhing in pain.
*Daniel breaks the count and then looks to slam Dicey’s head off the steps but Dicey gets his foot in the way and then slams Daniel’s head instead. He chucks him back in the ring before catapulting over the top with a shoulder block (ala Sheamus). He drags Daniel Reilly up and nails a buckle bomb in the corner and follows up with a huge superplex but Oliver Keane places his client’s foot on the ropes.
*Dicey prepares for the “Hangover Cure” in the corner but Daniel counters with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckle. He drags Dicey around and flips him up into a fallout neckbreaker before he follows up with a successful frog splash from on high but it is still only enough to gain a near fall.
*Daniel sets for the “RKO” but is pushed away. Dicey charges after for a splash but it is avoided and he slams into the turnbuckle. Daniel nails a lifted inverted DDT (ala Dvon Dudley) but Dicey kicks out. Reilly looks annoyed as he targets the ankle again for the submission. He stomps on it repeatedly first before seizing it. Dicey is forced to endure nearly two minutes in the hold before he reaches the ropes.
*Daniel Reilly argues with the official as Keane slaps Dicey in the face. Dicey rolls out on the apron but Daniel pulls him back through the middle and wants the hangman’s DDT but Dicey steps off the ropes and lifts him into a hot-shot across the top rope. Dicey crawls up and he looks for the “Craicdown” but Reilly swipes his feet and turns him for the anklelock again. Dicey rolls forward and sends Reilly through the ropes to the outside.
*Keane gives Daniel some instructions and then runs around to the announce area to grab the European Championship belt. Daniel Reilly is distracting the referee as Keane slides the belt in the ring. Keane now runs to the opposite side and takes over the distraction. Daniel Reilly reaches for the European belt but Dicey shocks him with a low blow of his own as the crowd go wild. Keane is still inadvertently distracting the ref as Dicey nails Daniel Reilly between the eyes with his own belt and chucks it from the ring. He drags the European Champion back up into the “Craicdown” and this one is over.
*Oliver Keane is left sullen as Dicey smirks at him and stands victorious. Daniel Reilly is at sixes and sevens as he tries to stand up and ends up collapsing into the ropes. Dicey is on top form heading into a huge showdown with Marty Helms at Destiny.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*Marty Helms gives an interview. This has been “three years in the making” and he doesn’t need to take any more from Dicey Reilly because at Destiny they will finish this once and for all. Helms doesn't care about a win over Daniel Reilly because he tells Dicey that a "war with me is a whole different level as you know only too well". Helms promises to end the job properly this time. He says “Belfast will rejoice at the death of the Dublin Destroyer”.
*Geoff Steel, despite taking an L, is receiving plenty of congratulations backstage on the level of his performance. He thanks everyone and is heading for the showers when Daniel Reilly, still seething from his loss to Dicey, dives into shot and plants Steel across a table with an RKO. Steel is out as Reilly glares down at him with a rage. He walks off leaving Steel in a heap.
*Anthony Grace and Robin Reborn arrive at the arena and although Reborn has his usual entourage with him they are met at the doors by Trevor Abraham and a “private security” detail. Abraham needs Reborn & Grace to understand that he is running things now and that means they “toe the line like everyone else”. Reborn smirks, arrogantly, whilst Grace looks unmoved by the news.
*Scott Harris is leaving the dressing room as Michael Sweetwater tries to spring an attack. Tyler Roth is on hand and grips Sweetwater by the throat and pins him to the wall. Roth wants to “crush him” but Harris has another idea. He points to a big industrial bin. He opens the top as Roth benches Sweetwater up and chucks him inside. They laugh as they walk off toward ringside.

Bout 6
Anthony Grace/Robin Reborn vs Scott Harris/Tyler Roth
Anthony Grace/Robin Reborn vs Scott Harris/Tyler Roth
*We are back out at ringside now for a huge tag team affair. Scott Harris is the first out and receives a huge ovation from the live crowd. The commentators talk up the 6WF Championship bout at Destiny and how Harris will be wanting to gain some serious momentum heading in to his showdown with Eddy Kent.
*Tyler Roth’s music hits and he begins to make his way to the ring as we get a recap on last week’s attack by Cerberus. Roth reaches ringside as flames engulf the ring, blocking his passage and now Cerberus is marching out and the two behemoths are going to collide once more. They are throwing huge shots at one another in the aisleway. Roth knees Cerberus in the gut and battles him back up on the stage.
*Scott Harris is torn between helping his friend but then we see Reborn and Grace coming through the audience, reminiscent of hyenas. Harris adopts a fighting stance as Reborn and Grace move around the outside of the ring.
*Roth repeatedly crashes Cerberus’ head against the metal stage structure and then slams him on the steel panelling. He intimates he is going to take one of the panels away (as Cerberus did to him last week) but Cerberus begins to get up. Roth beckons him to his feet and scoops him onto his shoulders but Cara comes from nowhere and spits a blood red mist into the eyes of “The Reaper”. Roth is blinded as Cerberus grabs him by the throat now and he walks him to the side of the stage before chokeslamming him off through a stack of tables
*Harris looks ready to rush to his friend’s aid but Reborn and Grace spring their attack now. They look for a double Irish whip but Harris ducks their attack and flies back with a huge double clothesline. He nails Reborn with a release German suplex and then uses a belly to belly to lift Grace over the ropes and drop him to the outside. Harris rounds back on Reborn now and looks for the “Shot in the dark” but Reborn counters into an armdrag. Reborn dodges a Harris clothesline and handsprings into the ropes but returns into a snap dragon suplex as the crowd go wild. Harris follows up with a t-bone before heading to the corner. He wants the frogsplash but Grace is back up and swipes his legs, crotching him. Reborn leaps up now and nails a top rope hurricanrana. Grace is back in and pulls Harris into an exploding inverted STO (End of Days) but he kicks out.
*Reborn climbs out on the apron and he wants the springboard forearm but Harris pulls Grace in the firing line and he takes the hit. Reborn stumbles around into an overhead belly to belly and then a hat-trick of German suplexes but Grace breaks the pin.
*Some disagreement and arguing between Reborn and Grace now. Reborn starts bossing Grace around and it isn’t going down well. Grace looks disgruntled but then drags Harris up and suplexes him into a front slam. Reborn heads for the corner and wants the “Shooting star press” but Harris drives his knees up. Grace tries to run in for the “Thunderstruck” but Harris catches him and snaps off a powerbomb.
*Reborn staggers up and eats a “codebreaker” from Harris. Harris wants the sharpshooter now. Reborn is yelling in pain and cannot make the ropes. The crowd are cheering and a tap out looks imminent. Grace is up and he seems to think about his options before he eventually nails the “Blockbuster” kick that sends Harris from the ring.
*Reborn is up now and he has words for Grace again. We hear him say “Follow my direction” and wants Grace to go and get Harris from the outside. Grace stands his ground so both men eventually climb out. They drag Harris up and send him into the steel steps before launching him back in the ring. Reborn tells Grace “I got this”.
*Reborn is on the apron again and he springs in for the forearm but Harris ducks it and he nails the “Shot in the dark” as the crowd go wild. The referee’s count is heading for three as Grace rolls in the ring and drives a steel chair down into Harris’ spine, giving him the disqualification win. The commentators are remarking on Harris’ showing and how he had the match won despite the numbers disadvantage.
*Reborn gets up and he is glaring at Grace now and the steel chair. Grace says “I thought you said “I got this””. JT and RJ are debating on the first bit of dissension in the ranks but JT reminds us that these two men are not friends and it was always likely they would hit stumbling blocks. Reborn looks annoyed but he grabs the chair out of Grace’s hands and sets it up. Harris staggers up now and Reborn snaps off a “Worldstar” neckbreaker (zigzag) that crashes the back of Harris’ neck off the seat. Reborn looks down at Harris and then back at Grace before smirking and he climbs out. Grace is left standing over Harris.
*Grace thinks long and hard now but he wants to “One up” his partner. He beckons Harris up and looks for the “Thunderstruck” but Harris moves. Harris grabs Grace’s legs now and turns him into the sharpshooter. Grace is yelling in pain and tapping out. Reborn looks over his shoulder and shakes his head at what he sees before continuing to walk backstage.
*The commentators talk about Harris’ resilience and how despite taking some knocks in this match he is the last man standing. He releases the submission now and stands on the turnbuckle in front of the fans as Grace is left slumped. RJ wonders is the issues between Grace/Reborn are going to become even more problematic as we get closer to Destiny and their showdown with Uryu & Gazzy.
*Cerberus and Car have now wheeled out a casket toward the bottom of the stage and Cerberus clearly has designs on putting the broken Tyler Roth inside of it. Scott Harris races from the ring to protect his friend. There is a staredown now as Harris stands in front of Roth and Cerberus/Cara glare. Cerberus smirks and draws a finger across his throat before backing away with his bride in tow.

Re: 6CWF Proving Grounds Results - Oct 9th 2023 (Episode 15)
*Liam Wood is going out of his mind looking for Emmy. He has been left a note by Engel Harlequin who says “She will returned unharmed if you win the game….I’ll give you the rules next week”….Wood looks thunderous. Miss Jessica walks in and tries to play her usual games but Wood pins her up against the wall. He releases her and looks surprised by his own actions as he storms away. Jessica is left with a smirk on her face.
*Backstage and Christy is reiterating her fears that something bad will happen tonight. Gazzy agrees but says they need to respect Uryu’s wishes to face Plague alone. Gazzy assures his wife he will be there if he really has to but they need to do what they have been asked. He kneels next to his wife now and hums “He’s got the whole world in his hands” to her bump.
*Cara and Cerberus are backstage with the casket and they deliver a chilling message and challenge. “The Undead King of Hell” is challenging “The Reaper” to a casket match at Destiny.
*Anthony Grace is visited by an, evidently, sick Charles Kramer. Grace doesn’t want to hear it but Kramer rises from his wheelchair, with great effort, and is telling Grace he needs to sort himself out. He points to Reborn using him as a pawn and calls him a “fool”. Grace, who is clearly intoxicated, tells Kramer to “(beep) off and mind his own business”….Kramer tries to take Grace’s arm but he throws the old man off and sends him crashing to the floor. Grace stares down at his former “consultant” as Robin Reborn swaggers in. He wants to "finish this old fraud" but Grace holds him back. Reborn looks at Grace's hand on his chest and clicks his tongue. He tells Grace "Abraham's army is taken care of, we got business" before walking off. Grace and Kramer exchange one more look before Grace follows Reborn. Kramer sighs deeply as backstage personnel and his own carers rush to his aid.

Main Event
Steel Cage
Edward Plague vs Uryu Ishida
Steel Cage
Edward Plague vs Uryu Ishida
*The atmosphere is electric in the arena as we return to ringside and the steel cage begins to lower around the ring. Edward Plague arrives and is surrounded by his “family” as he breaks through the ranks and enters the structure. He drops to his knees in an eerie prayer and stares, intently, at the stage.
*The crowd goes wild for the arrival of the 6CW World Champion now. Plague has a trace of a smile on his lips as he awaits his opponent. The crowd are on their feet as, unbeknownst to Plague, Uryu leaps the barricade and scales the cage behind his opponent. He waits for Plague to finally turn before he launches himself fifteen feet into a crossbody takedown.
*Uryu targets the legs with vicious calf kicks and then unloads with brutal kicks to the body and chest in the corner. He backs away and then follows up with a hat-trick of flying dropkicks against the turnbuckle. The commentators remark on this explosive side of the world’s champion and how he may have been tipped over the edge by recent events.
*We get a shot backstage of Robin Reborn's entourage clashing with Trevor Abraham's "prive security". Back at ringside and Uyru lets Plague stumble up and then he superkicks him in the back of the head. He heads for the corner now and it seems a “Split Second” is imminent but the cameras turn to Reborn and Grace, who are once again making their way out to ringside. Uryu is aware of their presence but he doesn’t have to do anything as Gazzy comes sprinting out from the back to attack.
*Gazzy falls to the numbers and is launched against the outside of the cage, leaving him in a heap on the floor. Reborn is ordering Grace to remove the announce desk coverings now, which draws a dark look from Grace. Uryu starts to climb the cage to come to Gazzy’s aid but Plague launches him down to the floor and lifts him into a brutal release uranage slam.
*Plague looks for a cannonball splash in the corner but Ishida rolls free and sends him crashing into the corner. Plague stumbles up and Uryu launches him against the cage wall before springing off the ropes and explodes back with a huge knee strike that sends Plague stumbling into the cage wall again. Uryu rushes in with a flying dropkick that crushes Plague against the steel and forces him to collapse in the middle of the ring.
*On the outside, Reborn wants Grace to climb the cage and come down on top of Gazzy on the announce desk but Grace is putting his foot down. The argument allows Gazzy to grab a steel chair and he jabs it into Reborn’s gut, dropping him. He swings at Grace but the A-Lister ducks and backs away. JT and RJ are not surprised but Grace seems to be returning the favour as he backs away now and leaves Gazzy alone with Reborn. Reborn staggers up and Gazzy lashes the chair off the top of his head, leaving him sprawled across one of the announce tables.
*The crowd are bouncing now as Gazzy climbs up on the desk at the same time that Uryu begins to climb the cage. Uryu reaches the top and he stares down as Gazzy looks up at him and then delivers “Deep Impact” and smashes Reborn through the table, leaving him a broken mess. Gazzy is up now and he is nodding his head at Uryu as the world champion prepares to come off on top of Edward Plague. The audience are waiting with baited breath as Ishida throws himself off.
*The lights go out with Uryu in mid-jump and when they come back on there is serious confusion and concern in the building. Somehow Uryu has landed the 450 Splash (Split Second) but he has crashed down upon GazzyD….Edward Plague is standing on the outside of the cage with a dark smile on his face, staring through the mesh at Ishida. The commentators cannot believe what has happened or how it has happened.
*The show comes to a close as the cage begins to lift and Christy James rushes down to check on her husband, who is spitting blood on the canvass. Uryu has backed up in the corner looking distraught whilst Edward Plague continues to smile at what has gone down.
