Yes IMO he is quality and could easily play for Juve but they don't see it. He was on loan to Parma last season with an option to buy which I assume was 3,000,000 as the deal has been done quite quickly.

It will be interesting to see the combination of Krasic and Bastos on either wing for Juve, unless they play him at left back which would be a shame

They were bought by Qatari investor 'Abdullah ben Nasser Al Thani' in June 2010. I have no idea what his wealth is but they also spent alot in January on players like Martin Demichelis and Julio Baptista.

Couldn't they have kept him instead of loaning Pepe? It's a shame when talented players don't get a chance.

I agree there are quite a few players in Serie A who are loaned from big clubs despite IMO being good enough for the first team. Cavani for example was only on loan at Napoli this season with an option to buy. Now Palermo look stupid as they could have got double after the season he has had. I'm hoping more players do what Giovinco has done and tell the big clubs where to stick it if they keep loaning them out. From what I understand Juve were very keen on keeping Giovinco and offered him a new contract to come back next season but he liked Parma so much he has decided to join them permanently, it's Juve's loss.

Heard somethin about this the other day. Bought a couple of decent players so far and were not even out of June yet.

The £3million is for 50% ownership.

Are the fees in pounds or Euros?

That Wolfswinkel was supposed to be a promising guy, was linked with Liverpool, £5.4 million doesn't seem a lot compared to what he was rumored to be going for to Liverpool at the time.

Dzudszak moving to Russia surprises me, its clearly just for the money. He's only 24, surely he could have held out to his 30s for a big payday?!

I agree about Van Wolfswinkel, they signed Schaars i think his name is from AZ too. I think Sporting are having a total clearout of the side, too big a squad for a team with such financial difficulty. Seems like Mendes will leave as his wages are too high.

Dzudszak may want a new challenge, and if they sold the ambitions of the club to him well then it may not be all about the money (I still imagine money played a key part).

Maybe and i know they are an ambitious team. But with some of the offers from the likes of Serie A and England i've heard about it seems pretty bizarre.

The only way a league will get a better reputation is by it having better players, and at the moment they currently have the money to sign these "fantastic players". These will help make the league more competitive and also help the teams do better in European competitions.

True, the thing with Russia though is that the clubs often have to pay over the odds to get the players in. It's a good league, but the climate and lifestyle isn't particularily pleasent. Hopefully this will break up the usual status quo on the European stage.

He's fallen big style.

Vincent Enyeama (Hapoel Tel-Aviv to Lille Free)

That's a good signing.
