Re: Furious League
Tottenham manager sits down for his pre season press conferance. He takes his seat and when attacked by a jurno with a million and one questions, Nick Fury reaches into his pocket and pulls out a napkin? wait, he unfolds his piece of A4 papar and said
"It is clear they are nervous about the third season because we topped the table in the last."
Smarts playing mind games with Nick? - No
Nick already cracking up? - No
Will Spurs even finish top 3? - Si, Numero Uno
Will the lack of pace by Spurs CB be exposed? - No
Will Spurs F.B get caught with thier attacking play? - No
Is this the poorest Spurs strike force since 1953? - No
When the Modric hype dies down will he be classed as an above average player? - No
Am I getting to you Nick? - No
Are my questions denting your title bid? - No
Do you need to spend on another striker? - No
"No more questione Mr Viva"
Nick Fury then followed with an attack on "Mr Viva"
"Mr Viva is getting nervous. Mr Viva complan about fixtures and this and that and this, I say we let Mr Viva pick the fixture list, then he complan about what?"
I might be on Blops tonight, might go watch transformers tho so dunny know like.

Should Viva or Afro take over as caretaker managers of Bolton? I nominate them as they are the only managers I trust (slightly) to do a good job.

Sold Bent to fund the rest of my side! Bent on his own wasn't going to win the league, a more balanced team could.
And Bryan Robson v Roy Keane. Very difficult call that one. Both very influential, both similar type players. If forced, Roy Keane won more so I will go for him.

I think ive got a team worthy of challenging for the top this season.
Im willing to become caretaker of Bolton if allowed. FC has been on, hes on Premier League but didnt reply to me so guess hes leaving.

Re: Furious League
Randy, just caretaker them until we find a new manager. We have been advertising for a while Nick and no biters so I think we need to get the league started.
Randy your team has improved a lot, but if you win the league I would be stunned.

Re: Furious League
I would imagine Arsenal are waiting to see what happens on Fabregas first Nick. If we can get a good price for him and he moves then I would imagine replacing him would be the priority over any other targets Wenger might have up his sleeve. I would expect Arsenals signings to be a lot better quality than what Utd have bought so far though, Ashley Young? lol

Re: Furious League
You laugh at Ashley Young but he will tear you apart, wait, is that Ashley Young's through ball to Darren Bent who makes it 2 nil to the Villa OHHHHHHHHHHHH and that wasnt just an assist notched up for A.Young but it also assisted in Arsenil losing 3rd place and auto CL qualification BOOM.
Smarts, we are the Champ19ns, you are the loosers. We have made signings, good ones, we attract players like Phil Jones who reportedly told Wenger No I want to go to Manchester United. All your trying to do is keep players from leaving Nicklas Bendtner £12m even my Arsenil mate say sell him for £8m as he aint even worth that.

Re: Furious League
I told you we did that on purpose as we are going for Europa to try and win something lol
But yeah don't want any rushed singings, I'm expecting Fabregas to leave this summer but can't go about replacing him until that happens. If Nasri/Clichy leave as well then it could be a busy summer

Man Utd out:
Hargreaves
VDS
Scholes
Kusczak
In:
DeGea, P.Jones, A.Young
Cost £50M
I think Man Utd will spend another £20-£30M this summer and if they sell players like Berbatov then possibly more.

O'Shea, Gibson, Brown all look like leaving too Smartest. I reckon Berba will go.
Welbeck and Cleverley coming into the club, Bebe will be unleashed next season, show his promise and be the next Ronaldo like Carlos Quieroz said he would.

I think were one signing off being done, unless Berba goes.
Arsenal on the other hand, say if you sell Cescelona and Nasri (£35 + £20 lets say £55m ish to play around with), but Wengers stubborn attitude stops him paying £40m for likes of Hamsik or Pastore and they go to the likes of Chelsea/Real/Barce or maybe even Manchester United.

Re: Furious League
Bebe gone on loan to Turkey aint he? I think Man Utd could do with another signing or two their weakness is going to be CM IMO. I can see Chelsea and Man City improving a lot in the summer and I think it will be really difficult next season.
Even if they go I don't think you will see big names coming in but I trust Wenger will make us competitive again next season.
Last season was great but next season could be even better with a resurgent Liverpool, Spurs doing alright and Man City + Chelsea adding to their teams.

Sky Sports: Clichy close to joining Man City
Sky Sports: Man City intrested in Nasri
I wouldn't mind Nasri, think he is a good player but we need a proper CM. I would love it if we signed Scweinsteiger!!
Thanks for the tactic reminder Smarts and reccomendation for Bolton.
See you girls tomorrow.

An neither did Adebayor and Toure!!!
Stretching before Football actually helps lol, before my warm up would consist of booting the ball as hard as I can, give a bit of abuse to opposition and a fag and the next few days I was dying couldn't move.
Feel a bit like a p**** jogging around the pitch, doing the leg stretchings like I'm some professional player.

Re: Furious League
Theo had a good season last year Nick. Was one of Arsenals better players, the only problem is he is to slight and keeps picking up niggling injuries which hurt his progress. Not sure if he can play from the left Fan, he normally knocks the ball outside the fullback and burns passed them but Henry was right footed and used to cut in from the left so could work I suppose.

The Free Agents have decided upon their choice of clubs as follows:
Simone Pepe – Juventus £5m
Owen Hargreaves – Stoke £4m
Marcos Senna – Villareal (new contract) £4m
David Vaughan – Blackburn £3m
Thomas Hitzlsperger – Fulham £3m
Tomas Kuszczak – Fulham £3m
Jay Bothroyd – Fulham £2m
Marco Donadel – Napoli £2m
Kyle Lafferty – Tottenham £2m
Bradley Johnson – Blackburn £500k
Richard Kingson – Birmingham £500k
Daniel de Ridder – Fulham £500k
You have committed to signing these players, so please add them to your team and reduce your budget by the stated amount
Stoke = £4m
Blackburn = £3.5m
Fulham = £8.5m
Tottenham = £2m
Birmingham = £0.5m
If you do not have sufficient budget, then you need to raise funds through releases. You have a contract agreement with the player that cannot be broken.

I already have 2 DM at my club, what reason is thier for Hargreaves to join me? An I don't have any money. What am I supposed to do? Sell myself?

Viva - when you've calmed down and reread the rules of Free Agents that have been there for a couple of weeks and were explained to you specifically when you asked, could you either release some players to fund Hargreaves, or find someone to buy Hargreaves from you.
