Re: Furious League
Viva you knew the rules, it's your mistake if you didn't want him you should not have put the contract on the table. He has signed it now.
Nick isn't the grand chief anymore he was over thrown and Afro runs the league now lol.
But yeah I'm being serious, not trying to be funny, I would buy him off you for £0.5M if you want. He is a free agent irl a clubless crock so I wouldn't pay more than that for him, maybe £1M at a push.

Re: Furious League
I'll be honest Viva, it was a close choice between you and QPR. Where we felt it was a close call, we favoured the team in the league.
However, if you read the rules, it actually says that if you cannot afford them, we will take the most expensive player from the free agents list until you can.
Therefore, rules are rules and if you do not have funds, then you cannot sign him. In fairness , we have given you the chance to be able to raise the fund to sign him if you wanted him, but you went all Azzy. We even pointed you in the direction of the rules (twice) so you could find your get out clause.
Never mind, you have the choice, if you want Hargreaves you have the opportunity to raise funds for him. If you do not, then you simply have to let us know.
It has been fun murking you

Re: Furious League
Guess I have to release/sell some players for Hargreaves.
Hargreaves is more likely to get first team Football at QPR, they are playing in the Premier league which is a better league then this. They will offer him higher wages. I don't know why you "favoured" a club in this league when you don't favous us at all.
Anyone intrested in any of my players except teh two spies:
Quag £1m
Montolivo £1m
Guardado £500k
Kameni £1m
Palombo £500k
Johnson £1m
That equals £5m so I can buy Hargreaves, any takers?

Re: Furious League
Doing the Free Agents was supposed to be for the benefit of teams in the league in order to get some Bosman style cheap purchases. I was quite explicit about the rules and explained them countless times, in particular to you. Noone forced you to put down Hargreaves on the list and you knew full well the rules when you did so. You knew this because you then posted this post after signing Palombo in order to not have to sign him.
Now stop acting like Azzy, get over it and stop being a fool. I have said you do not have to sign Hargreaves if you cannot afford it.
VivaPaulScholes wrote:Stoke are delighted to express the signing of Angelo Palombo, a fantastic DM who has proved he is at the top class range. I am glad to say he will be in the first 11 and hopefully play all 9 games this season if he does not get injured. We are also looking for a new captain and Palombo has ticked all the boxes.
I can see 6 great years from the lad as our first teamer and maybe captain, anyone else joining the team would not get any matches for us ever even if we had inuries because I have Makon who is probably as good as Essien but had a difficult start in England. I value Makoun at £15m and I hope he can show the form he showed at Lyon because he would be brilliant and I can't see anyone taking his place in the team except Palombo. So if anyone wants to join my team be prepared not to even make the bench because I have brilliant players who play as DM or box to box because I forgot Barton. So if I was you I would join some other team.

Re: Furious League
Viva - reread my earlier post. Me and Smarts both quoted the rules and directed you to read them, where it clearly says different from what we were saying.
The rules clearly state that if you cannot afford to sign players, we remove the most expensive from the list until you can afford them.
You have a list of 1, who you cannot afford, so he gets removed. We were being kind and giving you the opportunity to raise funds if you wanted him.

Re: Furious League
Barton or Hargreaves whos better?
I think I may have told you before but Fan was intrested in Matterazzi, I hope he has to pay the £3m that he is valued at
All I want in this league is consistency, it feels like you guys are just picking on me, the N'Zogbia thing and now this and a few other things I've let slide. I don't see anywhere on the list where Fan has to pay for Matterazzi. Maybe it has nothing to do with consistency and maybe certain people are just against me.
Person X has said Diarra was quoted for £14m and in that time nothing has changed for his value to go down? Then why was N'Zogbias value dropped even though he was a better play June 2011 compared to December 2010. It's strange how these failures and patchy results go against me. I'm sick of being nice and taking it on the chin.

Re: Furious League
Viva - Fan said about Matterazzi and retracted it before we finalised the list and before we stated that declaring an interest committed you to buying. If you look at Kingson, he also doesn't want him and tried to pull out, but wasn't allowed. As a consequence he is buying him, without a fuss and without claiming to be victimised.
For N'Zogbia the price was quoted, and then after that Dave Whelan confirmed that he wanted to leave. And their were strong reports quoting the price. That is what changed. If the same thing happens with Diarra, the same thing will happen to his price.
This league is as consistent as I have ever seen, and it involves a good few people putting in plenty of their own (or their works) time to making it enjoyable. Nobody is victimised as far as I am concerned.
You are starting to make me very tired of your whining. You see things on screen and they are not always as black and white as you are intepreting them.

Right. Nick and Viva are going to do releases, TPS, Free Agents, injuries going forward and see if they can be bang on consistent every single time. We will sit back and moan about being victimised when they aren't

Roarie Deacon - Randy, I was expecting him to get a new contract. Could be a good signing for you, is supposed to be fast, 2 footed and with an eye for goal. He's a brother with hair like Snoop.

Re: Furious League
And bloomin heck, your not even being made to sign Hargreaves
If anything Fan should feel victimised because you get away without having to buy Hargreaves, when he has no choice but to pay for Kingson. All because you could have manipulated your budget so that you could no longer afford him.

Re: Furious League
Wigan accepeted a £9m from Birmingham for N'Zogbia same time I bid for him but was rejected. But know thier owner said he can go he gets to leave even though he accepeted the bid from Blues I couldn't sign him
Now I know you are talking rubbish Afro, why was Fan made to buy Kingson but not Matterazzi even though he bid for Kingson before Materazzi. I also made my Hargreaves bid before you made it concrete that dclaring an intrest means signing aplayer.

Yes sir and I'm starting it in 5 seconds.
Twist is everyone loses except the person who did the task and you only have 1 minute to get your task in and the winner will recieve £30m and I will get half of that £15m
So I will be starting it today.

Re: Furious League
He retracted his enquiry for Materazzi before it was made compulsory. Kingson he tried after. Hargreaves you didn't even try to retract. Yet you don't have to sign Hargreaves.
And your enquiry was made to Gio, so I can't answer why he quoted well above the asking price. If I had been doing them, I would have been consistent then and now. Doesn't matter anyway as you are doing them now, so you can choose how best to do them.
