Mouse - if you find the managers, then I will keep the money in a little pot for you and if you do return, then you can have the money added to the budget of your new team.

I'm getting a bit peed off with people playing their injured players against me!!! Last time Nick played Metersacker and nobody noticed so I got a draw that probably cost me a win. Now MelonCock is playing Capdevilla against me!!!
I had to take Podolski out of my starting 11 so it's a bit unfair!!! Checked everybody elses injuries and all seems to be fine apart from Capdevilla!

I'm not being funny, but can I at least depart this league with a win? If people bothered to read tactics we might get somewhere.

From my point of view Mouse, I did read the tactics and I could see what you were trying to do. I felt you had a lot of possession, particularly in the front 3, but it was too much and it led to you lacking an out and out marksman. If you had had Defoe playing and staying in the centre to finish, I would have been tempted to give you the win. I also think it is a bit wrong to state that Heitinga, Naldo, Corluka and Enrique lack pace.

Heitinga and Naldo isn't a particularly quick CB partnership.

And Jovetic and Donavan are both capable of finishing. Donavan one of the top scorers in the US.

Great - get your link in GloucesterBear.

This league is in it's third season, is a realistic league and involves a lot of banter. Feel free to ignore Viva.

And Mouse, Heitinga is not slow. And Naldo is quicker than he looks, because he has ridiculously long legs, he covers a deceptive amount of ground. And Donovan (for Everton at least) gets a lot of goals coming in from the wide right and feeding off scraps from the central striker.

This is the latest (temporary) link as Andy was caretaker manager this week.

I think the crossed out players are those that were injured this week.

GloucesterBear Yahoo

This is generally a 9-5 midweek league and no-one is on at the weekend.

Transfer are realistic so you have to have a good reason to why they would join Bolton. Back it up with links etc. if needs be. You finished 8th last season so more than likely will be limited on who you go for but still some quality out there to find.

Ignore the link on the homepage above as its a really old one. Go to the tops and copy the Bolton (Caretaker) link. If you look on the page it say that any play like this denotes an injured player for that week so they are still your players. And you need to keep a transfer tracker with everything involved in the deal, P/X's, cash etc so we can keep an eye on your budget.

Nice message to me thanks for that.

Thank god it's realistic some games like this aren't, and it can be quite annoying for someone like me.

Ronaldo and Messi for teams like Newcastle or West Brom, is a joke.

At the beginning of each season, you will get a selection of sponsors offers to choose from. They will all include an offer of lump sum up front, win/draw bonus's throughout the season and then an end of season lump sum if you achieve a pre-determined target. It is essentially a cash injection to keep the transfers flowing.

I think Andy has chosen the Bolton one already for season 3.

Welcome to the league.

Any questions, just ask.

Looking at your sponsors, it looks like it doesn't include Win/draw bonus's and Andy went for the one with the large lump sums. Therefore, you don;t need to worry about it until the end of the season. If you can finish top 4, then you get another £14m.

I will add your link now. If you can get anyone else to take the Fulham job, we are offering £4m finder fee to add to your budget

How is Almighty getting the credit for GloucesterBear?

It was me who put on the message for him to join this league on the Premier League site mad

And i went with that sponsor as i feel Bolton have the weaker team in the league and thought 14m upfront was the best way forward as i didnt expect them to win much this season IMO.

Tactics for week 1 were posted last Friday and we are now voting on the results. All you need to do is look at the tactics for each game and say what you think the score is, scorers and a brief reason why.

Andy will take all of the votes and generate the result using his own special formula that he will need to explain!

Note that you don't vote on your own game, Liverpool are playing Capdevila when he is supposed to be injured (treat it as playing with 10 men) and Spurs didn't submit tactics which mean an automatic win for the other side (me!!!)

Yep. 3 is right.

You can do all 3 at the same time if you wish, but it's maximum of 3 enquiries a day Monday to Wednesday.

Smarts will answer them, although he asks for patience in his response as he cannot always get online throughout the day.

Everyone - I have officially taken over being the league runner due to Nick's struggles with work. Smarts will take full control of the TPs (I will do his and provide advice when he wants it).

Anyone want to volunteer to do injuries and releases?
