Re: Furious League
Looking at my side, god do I need some younger legs in defence.
Time to do a bit of scouting on fifa 11.
If anybody wants any of my defenders feel free to make an offer.

Re: Furious League
I dont think any of your starting defenders are over 30 Gloucester? Think you have a pretty good defence to be honest. Simon Kjaer is available but only for the price Everton originally purchased him for.

Nice set of tactics Bear. Im expecting a win to be honest but that because of my team, nothing to do with yours. You seem quit organised, I had planned for a the odd thing and I think ive pulled it off. All depends on if tactics are read properly.
Also, Afro emailed me and said you had posted tactics, I posted min 5 mins later so thats hardley enough time for me to read yours and change mine. Only saying as its been known people accuse people of doing that.
Best of luck bear

You haven't heard of Timo Gebhart
No don't think none are over 30 but still could do with some younger legs, I tried to set out my tactics to the best I could probably could of done better but it's only my first time, but it's not hard on how to beat your team nick even though it's much more dangerous on paper.

Nah it's ok Smars, I'll just have 3 on Monday.
No Championship defender is Koshaneeley, he gets bullied in England. Funny how you say Arsenal have better players and squad yet United keep winning. Keep suckig them Smarts. Have a good weekend all bye xxx.

Re: Furious League
Gregers - releases: you list the player on the releases page and you get half value for them. This is either half of what your club paid for them, or if they weren't bought (or were part of a part ex deal with no obvious value attached to the player), then you get half of the market value.
You have a max of 4 enquiries per day. More details are on the releases page.
Pineapple/Gloucester/Smarts/Me - cup tactics by the end of today. Same rules as last season. Pineapple/Gloucter - I will send you more details on how the cup works.

Re: Furious League
Morning all.
Viva - no worries and yes, you can do your TPs all day if you wish. Smarts might not answer until tomorrow, but they will count as todays enquiries and you will get 3 more tomorrow.
Gregers - voting. As soon as you can and on the voting page as Nick said
Take a look at the teams AND tactics for both sides in each match and then post what you think the score and scorers will be, plus a brief explanation why so the managers have something to build upon.

Re: Furious League
I have amended the voting page and tactics pages slightly as I was unable to edit the old pages.
I have set-up a tactics page for each match so that it is easier to see both sets of tactics together. I will update these pages each week and we will post our tactics on the page for our match.
I have also set-up a new page for voting, which has links to each match's tactics

Re: Furious League
Nah.
They are £25m as they are crucial first team players and I would have to replace them with quality. I am not going to get a better winger than Turan for £18m, so I might as well keep him.
What do you reckon to the new voting/tactics set-up. An improvement or not?

Re: Furious League
nah I actually want Arshivan and most of it is true to Arsenal and the Board. Id be lying if I said they wernt stubborn:
Bendtner - cant leave at they want £12m OHH
Denilson - cant because they are demanding silly money for a player like him
Cesc - stopping him going home as they want how much!
Nasri - 1 year left on his contract and there strying to get £25m for him from a non english club
pure stubbornness
Oh this is jokes: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3662228/A-cheeky-Arsenal-fan-has-put-midfielder-Denilson-up-for-saleon-eBay.html

Re: Furious League
Gloucester - the only ways you will get additional money will be:
Win bonuses, of which your sponsor money is that you don't get them
Player sales through transfers (domestic, tps, releases or lawyers)
Viva's predictions prizes - which we haven't done since you started.

Re: Furious League
Modric does play centrally most of the time doesn't he?
I know he started playing left hand side when he joined Spurs, but everytime I have seen him, he has been superb operating centrally.
Nick - leaving out VDV didn't really make much difference to my score, but I mentioned it as I think you are much better off playing VDV there than Benzema.
Greggers - your predictions are fine mate. I don't necessarily agree either with some of the comments, but your opinion is worth the same as mine and any other managers, so you need to ignore any moans and stick with what you think.
You will get some managers come and query what you mean, so just give constructive criticism to help them for their next set of tactics.
Also, Nick has a fair comment in that it is not about what you like, more about your opinions on the players ability. If you said, Modric is rubbish that is fine, but you can't really mark down if you think he is good centrally, but you like him coming from wide more.

Re: Furious League
Yeah no offense meant Greggers, just making a point.
Afro, I felt VDV would be expected to play, so if I leave him out and try something else the "element of suprise" I could catch them off guard in the open stages and gain an advantage. Once again with Benzema I was trying something different, may not of pulled off. See if I get the win or not, even if I do it doesnt mean it worked and it is something that I will note.
Im early on in the season, im seeing what I can do with ym team that fits, then once figured out I can get bang in form and make my title charge

Maybe I should have said I prefer Modric to be able to drift in and surge forward. I dont think a '4-4-2' suits him the best.
Anyways, can I also say thanks to you all for making me feel welcome. Really enjoying it so far
