Re: funny tv adverts
The Carling Black Label adverts from the '80s were comic genius. They don't make hilarious ads like they used to...well not that I've seen, although admittedly I don't watch loads of TV.

Re: funny tv adverts
The adverts I tend to see now are....well on the radio.
There are two particularly:
The cravendale ad with the cats with opposable thumbs (the TV ad is the same but not as funny) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6CcxJQq1x8
and there used to be an ad for Mr Green, a online casino which were very funny. - https://www.youtube.com/user/mrgreencasino

Tend to watch stuff on the Sky+ and whizz through the adverts most of the time. Can't think of any I particularly like at the moment (though the Meerkats are always brilliant). I can only think of the ones that annoy me the most. Both the old and the new Wonga dot com adverts especially - those pensioner puppets are even creepier than the Dolmio ones. Shudder.

Re: funny tv adverts
The WORST advert currently, and IMHO a contender for WORST EVER advert, has to be the Haribo Super Mix commercial ("Squidgy! Squidgy baby!"). It does dangerous things to my blood pressure whenever it comes on! Aaarghh!!! See it on YouTube here.

I hate that one too. You could start a new thread for Worst Adverts Ever.

As to funny ads, I used to like the old Renault "Papa and Nicole" ones.
Out of the current lot, the Pepsi Max one with the guys in the office, wearing masks, makes me chuckle.
Also love the Specsavers one with Postman Pat leaving a trail of destruction through the village.

Also like the Fosters ads with those two Aussie beach bums giving advice to blokes.
First one was the best, giving advice to that guy who was asked to rub sun cream on his mate.

Best advert for me I think it was the John West advert where he kicks the bear in the nuts, I've been chuckling to myself about it just writing it!
