Lol are they still playing? Also I heard McLeod never shook hands with a female ref because of religious beliefs (Muslim). What's everyones thoughts on that?

Dave Hendon mentioned it on twitter. Apparently he just nods at michela and she's cool with that. Seems strange to me but each to their own I guess.

Why should that be a problem? I mean the shaking hands.
From what I understand, as a practicing muslim, he wouldn't shake hands with any women. If the referee is ok with that, then there is no problem.
People have all sorts of beliefs which prevent them from doing certain things. That's perfectly fine as long as they're not breaking any laws or endangering anyone. I'm sure he must have explained to her the reasons for his actions and she's obviously ok with that.

emancipator has it spot on. Religious beliefs are a way of life for some. Its not that big a deal and I'm sure she would have been told beforehand that he couldn't shake her hand.
