From a Cork perspective do ye think it will be Shields picking up Gooch and Canty on Donaghy or a different tactic? Kerry's midfield looks very weak especially without Galvin picking up the breaks. Aidan Walsh has come on leaps and bounds recently and the fact he is keeping Nicholas Murphy out of the team is a testament to that. I also think Paddy Kelly could have a big game as I'm not convinced of Brosnan at centre-back.
I'd be very optimistic heading up to Kilarney on Sunday but you have to always be mindful that Kerry's forward line are outstanding. Even still I'll go for Cork by 5pts.
I also expect that the hype about Dublin will be firmly put back in check. A wounded Kilkenny side might not be the team they once were but i think on the big championship day, they'll run out comfortable winners.

Canty has done well on Donaghy before, so I'd think he'll be taking him. Shields will be in for a tough time on Cooper, as anyone would be. If he can break near enough even, then you'd have to be happy at that. I think they must have something in mind for coping with being outgunned in the middle of the park. Sans the dentist, they are maybe not as well equipped to put another man in there to shore things up. That means Paddy Kelly being in at CF to play more ball instead of Pearce O'Neill in to help the midfield and drive at Brosnan. It has given us the option to do that at any rate.

Run at Kerry and we will cause them problems. Games like this are where the likes of Kerrigan,Pa Kelly and even Pearse earn their stripes. I believe Walsh will grow into one of the top midfielders of his generation and hope he lays down a marker on Sunday. Only one choice for me on Sunday, the tennis will be watched later!

Cads is at a crossroads. He's on the bench. I think he'll be sprung in the HB line if and when needed. Ciaran Sheehan is the lad to really up it this year and make a mark for himself I think

At a crossroads? Does that mean he'll have to pick between the two codes one day?

I reckon so. He'd surely be a starter on the football panel if he went at it full time. It isn't really fair on the likes of Eoin Cotter who are in and around the panel the whole time to see Cads getting hot shotted in. His form with the small ball has dipped too.

Hmmm I wonder which he'd pick. I thought he was better with a hurley but I'm probably incorrect. Might be beneficial to him to focus on one code anyway.

I think he'd choose small balls.
There is a clamour for Aidan Walsh and Ciaran SHeehan to play dual as well but I think they have made it clear they prefer big balls.....or at least the set up of the big balls.

Just watched last weeks Sunday Game, and I don't think Brogan's free should've been given. It should've been a draw.

Cari,I would stay quiet now. You won't fit on Hill 16 if you're honest.(or if you're not drunk and snorting something )

Seriously though, I'm really not sure what the free was for, but that could be that the cameras didn't catch everything or it was a just a very harsh call, who knows? Anyway it's done now....and the Dubs will be at the QFs
I probably won't be allowed on Hill 16 cause I'm not a proper Dub Besides I just want to be sat where there's a fab view of everything!!
That reminds me, can one of you explain what the yellow sign with "John 3:7" on it means? I always see one held up behind the goals at different matches, I just wondered what that was about?

You should try and get upper tier tickets so Cari. They might be a bit costly but worth it for an amazing view.

Re: Live Scores- 2-3/7/11 strawberries & cream .....me hole
I went out, so I am offering thoughts on the Tribesmen against Clare ages after the action has finished....Canning got a brilliant goal....A BRILLIANT goal off his left side. just incredible skill. he took the ball into contact, flung his man off, back onto the stick, flicked it inside another man, changing his grip in the process and thrashed it in from an angle.
Just one of a couple of nice goals from the tribesmen. Clare defended like dummies.
Hayes scores a nice one earlier on. Farragher and Kerins got goals also.
Kerins pulled a lovely shot on the left after pulling it out of the sky on his caman.
Clare had a man sent off for a stupid stupid pull across Canning. the game had gone, but i'd literally knock him up and down the dressing room for letting his team mates down.
good performance from gaillimh....they can do that...or be like they were against Dublin.
On the match the morra, I knew the focus was going to be on who wouldn't be playing for the animals as opposed to those who we will be without,
The bould Marty 'goochy goochy star star' Morrisey in plugging the action tomorrow informed us that Kerry would be sans "Paul Galvin, Tomas O'Se and Dara O'Se".......holy god.

Breaking news: No Mauriuce Fitzgerald for Kerry today......................
Had a good evening in the Gaelic Grounds last night. What impressed me was that Limerick never let Wexford get on top and even though we still made a few mistakes, we won comfortably. The small Wexford support deserved a bit better from their team though...........................................
Looking forward to Cork or Antrim now.......................................

Dub - aye they're all frustrated!
John - glad you enjoyed the match last night. Good win for Limerick. I'm really looking forward to the biggie this afternoon. Come on the Dubs!!
Speaking of which, I'm wearing my Dubs shirt today and I was just in the supermarket. I heard an Irish voice behind me say "There's a Dubs shirt, up the Dubs!" and I got chatting to a couple of Irish lads.

What passcode? It says you have to message someone for it. I don't understand why the GAa media player doesn't work. I don't get any messages or anything, it's just frozen. Can't even download Realplayer or some other means to access the radio. This is disaster for me. So unfair.
