1 out of 4....shocking picks.
So, I'm first and last in this popoular thread so far.
Hope I get the last one wrong too.

I think you may be right. The Maroons will have too much class, it's Locky's final SOO and they'll be itching to make amends for the last game.
Also, with the S15 rugby success so far...there is even more of that powerful force in the air - state pride.

Well done Queensland - deserving SOO Series winners again.
Fantastic game with Qld getting off to a flyer...too much for NSW, but credit to their fightback as well.
Final Score: 34-24
I hope The Reds can also win again on Saturday night in the S15 Final.

It was a good game. I can't understand how Gidley get's into that NSW team, imo he's nowhere near good enough to be playing origin and made a few more vital error's today. Horrible looking injury to Thurston look's like he's out for the season the Cowboy's will prob struggle without him.

Yeah dublfcynwa,
I agree with you about Gidley - far too many errors. NSW are kidding themselves really with some of those selections and the closed training/late team announcement tactics. They need to get rid of Minichiello for Brett Stewart next year and I'm still not convinced with the Soward/Pearce halves combo. Forwards did well but maybe even more size and grunt needed with someone like Learoyd Lars.
There was an article this week proclaiming Pearce as the 'world's best...' - really? Don't think so! Problem is there is nobody good enough to replace him. (It's a pity we can't pick a Kiwi...i.e. Keiran Foran)
Tragic injury to JT. Cowboys will indeed struggle without him.

Brett Stewart look's back to his best alright and I would think Dugan would have held that full back spot if he had not got injured.
The Nsw forward's were decent, but your right they need a big guy that run's hard and Lars is perfect. Hat's off to Paul Gallen with over 50 tackles the man is just a machine.
Soward today for me looked ordinary, his kicking game was'nt great and Pearce was looking for the long pass every time he got the ball they did'nt look good as a combo in that game.

Of course, Josh Dugan will be back...
Dessy will want to keep B. Stewart in cotton wool again next year no doubt.
